The arsenite oxidase (Aio) from the facultative autotrophic Alphaproteobacterium Rhizobium sp. NT-26 is a bioenergetic enzyme involved in the oxidation of arsenite to arsenate. The enzyme from the distantly related heterotroph, Alcaligenes faecalis, which is thought to oxidise arsenite for detoxification, consists of a large α subunit (AioA) with bis-molybdopterin guanine dinucleotide at its active site and a 3Fe-4S cluster, and a small β subunit (AioB) which contains a Rieske 2Fe-2S cluster. The successful heterologous expression of the NT-26 Aio in Escherichia coli has resulted in the solution of its crystal structure. The NT-26 Aio, a heterotetramer, shares high overall similarity to the heterodimeric arsenite oxidase from A. faecalis but there are striking differences in the structure surrounding the Rieske 2Fe-2S cluster which we demonstrate explains the difference in the observed redox potentials (+225 mV vs. +130/160 mV, respectively). A combination of site-directed mutagenesis and electron paramagnetic resonance was used to explore the differences observed in the structure and redox properties of the Rieske cluster. In the NT-26 AioB the substitution of a serine (S126 in NT-26) for a threonine as in the A. faecalis AioB explains a −20 mV decrease in redox potential. The disulphide bridge in the A. faecalis AioB which is conserved in other betaproteobacterial AioB subunits and the Rieske subunit of the cytochrome bc 1 complex is absent in the NT-26 AioB subunit. The introduction of a disulphide bridge had no effect on Aio activity or protein stability but resulted in a decrease in the redox potential of the cluster. These results are in conflict with previous data on the betaproteobacterial AioB subunit and the Rieske of the bc 1 complex where removal of the disulphide bridge had no effect on the redox potential of the former but a decrease in cluster stability was observed in the latter.  相似文献

Arsenite oxidation by the facultative chemolithoautotroph NT-26 involves a periplasmic arsenite oxidase. This enzyme is the first component of an electron transport chain which leads to reduction of oxygen to water and the generation of ATP. Involved in this pathway is a periplasmic c-type cytochrome that can act as an electron acceptor to the arsenite oxidase. We identified the gene that encodes this protein downstream of the arsenite oxidase genes (aroBA). This protein, a cytochrome c552, is similar to a number of c-type cytochromes from the α-Proteobacteria and mitochondria. It was therefore not surprising that horse heart cytochrome c could also serve, in vitro, as an alternative electron acceptor for the arsenite oxidase. Purification and characterisation of the c552 revealed the presence of a single heme per protein and that the heme redox potential is similar to that of mitochondrial c-type cytochromes. Expression studies revealed that synthesis of the cytochrome c gene was not dependent on arsenite as was found to be the case for expression of aroBA.  相似文献

Cytochrome cd1 nitrite reductases (cd 1NiRs) catalyze the one-electron reduction of nitrite to nitric oxide. Due to their catalytic reaction, cd 1NiRs are regarded as promising components for biosensing, bioremediation and biotechnological applications. Motivated by earlier findings that catalytic activity of cd 1NiR from Marinobacter hydrocarbonoclasticus (Mhcd 1) depends on the presence of its physiological redox partner, cytochrome c 552 (cyt c 552), we show here a detailed surface enhanced resonance Raman characterization of Mhcd 1 and cyt c 552 attached to biocompatible electrodes in conditions which allow direct electron transfer between the conducting support and immobilized proteins. Mhcd 1 and cyt c552 are co-immobilized on silver electrodes coated with self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) and the electrocatalytic activity of Ag // SAM // Mhcd 1 // cyt c 552 and Ag // SAM // cyt c 552 // Mhcd 1 constructs is tested in the presence of nitrite. Simultaneous evaluation of structural and thermodynamic properties of the immobilized proteins reveals that cyt c 552 retains its native properties, while the redox potential of apparently intact Mhcd 1 undergoes a ~150 mV negative shift upon adsorption. Neither of the immobilization strategies results in an active Mhcd 1, reinforcing the idea that subtle and very specific interactions between Mhcd 1 and cyt c 552 govern efficient intermolecular electron transfer and catalytic activity of Mhcd 1.  相似文献

Many c-type cytochromes (cyts) can form domain-swapped oligomers. The positively charged Hydrogenobacter thermophilus (HT) cytochrome (cyt) c552 forms domain-swapped oligomers during expression in the Escherichia coli (E. coli) expression system, but the factors influencing the oligomerization remain unrevealed. Here, we found that the dimer of the negatively charged Shewanella violacea (SV) cyt c5 exhibits a domain-swapped structure, in which the N-terminal helix is exchanged between protomers, similar to the structures of the HT cyt c552 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) cyt c551 domain-swapped dimers. Positively charged horse cyt c and HT cyt c552 domain swapped during expression in E. coli, whereas negatively charged PA cyt c551 and SV cyt c5 did not. Oligomers were formed during expression in E. coli for HT cyt c552 attached to either a co- or post-translational signal peptide for transportation through the cytoplasm membrane, but not for PA cyt c551 attached to either signal peptide. HT cyt c552 formed oligomers in E. coli in the presence and absence of rare codons. More oligomers were obtained from the in vitro folding of horse cyt c and HT cyt c552 by the addition of negatively charged liposomes during folding, whereas the amount of oligomers for the in vitro folding of PA cyt c551 and SV cyt c5 did not change significantly by the addition. These results indicate that the protein surface charge affects the oligomerization of c-type cyts in cells; positively charged c-type cyts assemble on a negatively charged membrane, inducing formation of domain-swapped oligomers during folding.  相似文献

Cytochrome c (cyt c) family proteins, such as horse cyt c, Pseudomonas aeruginosa cytochrome c 551 (PA cyt c 551), and Hydrogenobacter thermophilus cytochrome c 552 (HT cyt c 552), have been used as model proteins to study the relationship between the protein structure and folding process. We have shown in the past that horse cyt c forms oligomers by domain swapping its C-terminal helix, perturbing the Met–heme coordination significantly compared to the monomer. HT cyt c 552 forms dimers by domain swapping the region containing the N-terminal α-helix and heme, where the heme axial His and Met ligands belong to different protomers. Herein, we show that PA cyt c 551 also forms domain-swapped dimers by swapping the region containing the N-terminal α-helix and heme. The secondary structures of the M61A mutant of PA cyt c 551 were perturbed slightly and its oligomer formation ability decreased compared to that of the wild-type protein, showing that the stability of the protein secondary structures is important for domain swapping. The hinge loop of domain swapping for cyt c family proteins corresponded to the unstable region specified by hydrogen exchange NMR measurements for the monomer, although the swapping region differed among proteins. These results show that the unstable loop region has a tendency to become a hinge loop in domain-swapped proteins.  相似文献

Electrochemistry of cytochrome c (cyt c) immobilized on a cardiolipin (CL)/phosphatidylcholine (PC) film supported on a glassy carbon electrode was investigated using variable-frequency AC voltammetry. At low ionic strength, we observed two redox-active subpopulations characterized by distinct values of potential (E1/2) and electron transfer rate constant (kET). At high ionic strength, only one subpopulation was detected, consistent with the existence of very stable cyt c–CL adducts, most probably formed by hydrophobic interactions between the protein and the fatty acid (FA) chains carried by CL. This subpopulation exhibits a comparatively high kET value (> 300 s− 1) apparently changing with the structure of the FA chains of CL, i.e. 18:2(n − 6) or 14:0. Our study suggests that electrochemistry can be a useful technique for probing protein–lipid interactions, and more particularly the role played by the specific structure of the FA chains of CL on cyt c binding.  相似文献

The transient electron transfer (ET) interactions between cytochrome c1 of the bc1-complex from Paracoccus denitrificans and its physiological redox partners cytochrome c552 and cytochrome c550 have been characterized functionally by stopped-flow spectroscopy. Two different soluble fragments of cytochrome c1 were generated and used together with a soluble cytochrome c552 module as a model system for interprotein ET reactions. Both c1 fragments lack the membrane anchor; the c1 core fragment (c1CF) consists of only the hydrophilic heme-carrying domain, whereas the c1 acidic fragment (c1AF) additionally contains the acidic domain unique to P. denitrificans. In order to determine the ionic strength dependencies of the ET rate constants, an optimized stopped-flow protocol was developed to overcome problems of spectral overlap, heme autoxidation and the prevalent non-pseudo first order conditions. Cytochrome c1 reveals fast bimolecular rate constants (107 to 108 M− 1 s− 1) for the ET reaction with its physiological substrates c552 and c550, thus approaching the limit of a diffusion-controlled process, with 2 to 3 effective charges of opposite sign contributing to these interactions. No direct involvement of the N-terminal acidic c1-domain in electrostatically attracting its substrates could be detected. However, a slight preference for cytochrome c550 over c552 reacting with cyochrome c1 was found and attributed to the different functions of both cytochromes in the respiratory chain of P. denitrificans.  相似文献

We report kinetic data for the two-step electron transfer (ET) oxidation and reduction of the two-domain di-heme redox protein Pseudomonas stutzeri cytochrome (cyt) c4 by [Co(bipy)3]2+/3+ (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine). Following earlier reports, the data accord with both bi- and tri-exponential kinetics. A complete kinetic scheme includes both “cooperative” intermolecular ET between each heme group and the external reaction partner, and intramolecular ET between the two heme groups. A new data analysis scheme shows unequivocally that two-ET oxidation and reduction of P. stutzeri cyt c4 is entirely dominated by intermolecular ET between the heme groups and the external reaction partner in the ms time range, with virtually no contribution from intramolecular interheme ET in this time range. This is in striking contrast to two-ET electrochemical oxidation or reduction of P. stutzeri cyt c4 for which fast, ms to sub-ms intramolecular interheme ET is a crucial step. The rate constant dependence on the solvent viscosity has disclosed strong coupling to both a (set of) frictionally damped solvent/protein nuclear modes and intramolecular friction-less “ballistic” modes, indicative of notable protein structural mobility in the overall two-ET process. We suggest that conformational protein mobility blocks intramolecular interheme ET in bulk homogeneous solution but triggers opening of this gated ET channel in the electrochemical environment or in the membrane environment of natural respiratory cyt c4 function.  相似文献

The kinetics of the cytochrome (cyt) components of the bc1 complex (ubiquinol: cytochrome c oxidoreductase, Complex III) are traditionally followed by using the difference of absorbance changes at two or more different wavelengths. However, this difference-wavelength (DW) approach is of limited accuracy in the separation of absorbance changes of components with overlapping spectral bands. To resolve the kinetics of individual components in Rhodobacter sphaeroides chromatophores, we have tested a simplified version of a least squares (LS) analysis, based on measurement at a minimal number of different wavelengths. The success of the simplified LS analysis depended significantly on the wavelengths used in the set. The “traditional” set of 6 wavelengths (542, 551, 561, 566, 569 and 575 nm), normally used in the DW approach to characterize kinetics of cyt ctot (cyt c1 + cyt c2), cyt bL, cyt bH, and P870 in chromatophores, could also be used to determine these components via the simplified LS analysis, with improved resolution of the individual components. However, this set is not sufficient when information about cyts c1 and c2 is needed. We identified multiple alternative sets of 5 and 6 wavelengths that could be used to determine the kinetics of all 5 components (P870 and cyts c1, c2, bL, and bH) simultaneously, with an accuracy comparable to that of the LS analysis based on a full set of wavelengths (1 nm intervals). We conclude that a simplified version of LS deconvolution based on a small number of carefully selected wavelengths provides a robust and significant improvement over the traditional DW approach, since it accounts for spectral interference of the different components, and uses fewer measurements when information about all five individual components is needed. Using the simplified and complete LS analyses, we measured the simultaneous kinetics of all cytochrome components of bc1 complex in the absence and presence of specific inhibitors and found that they correspond well to those expected from the modified Q-cycle. This is the first study in which the kinetics of all cytochrome and reaction center components of the bc1 complex functioning in situ have been measured simultaneously, with full deconvolution over an extended time range.  相似文献

This study provides evidence for the superoxide oxidase and the superoxide reductase activity of cytochrome b559 (cyt b559) in PSII. It is reported that in Tris-treated PSII membranes upon illumination, both the intermediate potential (IP) and the reduced high potential (HPred) forms of cyt b559 exhibit superoxide scavenging activity and interconversion between IP and HPred form. When Tris-treated PSII membranes were illuminated in the presence of spin trap EMPO, the formation of superoxide anion radical (O2) was observed, as confirmed by EPR spin-trapping spectroscopy. The observations that the addition of enzymatic (superoxide dismutase) and non-enzymatic (cytochrome c, α-tocopherol and Trolox) O2 scavengers prevented the light-induced conversion of IP ↔ HPred cyt b559 confirmed that IP and HPred cyt b559 are reduced and oxidized by O2, respectively. Redox changes in cyt b559 by an exogenous source of O2 reconfirmed the superoxide oxidase and reductase activity of cyt b559. Furthermore, the light-induced conversion of IP to HPred form of cyt b559 was completely inhibited at pH > 8 and by chemical modification of the imidazole ring of histidine residues using diethyl pyrocarbonate. We proposed that a change in the environment around the heme iron, induced by the protonation and deprotonation of His22 residue generates a favorable condition for the oxidation and reduction of O2, respectively.  相似文献

We investigate the hydration state of horse-heart cytochrome c (hh cyt c) in the unfolding process induced by trifluoroacetic acid (TFA). The conformation of hh cyt c changes from the native (N) state (2.9 < pH < 6.0) to the acid-unfolded (UA) state (1.7 < pH < 2.0) to the acid-induced molten globule (A) state (pH ∼1.2). Hydration properties of hh cyt c during this process are measured at 20°C by high-resolution dielectric relaxation (DR) spectroscopy, UV-vis absorbance, and circular dichroism spectroscopy. Constrained water of hh cyt c is observed at every pH as an ∼5-GHz Debye component (DC) (DR time, τD ∼30 ps) and its DR amplitude (DRA) is increased by 77% upon N-to-UA transition, when pH changes from 6.0 to 2.0. Even in the N state, the DRA of the constrained-water component is found to be increased by 22% with decreasing pH from 6.0 to 2.9, suggesting an increase in the accessible surface area of native hh cyt c. Moreover, hypermobile water around native hh cyt c is detected at pH 6.0 as a 19-GHz DC (τD ∼ 8.4 ps < τDW = 9.4 ps), but is not found at other pH values. The DRA signal of constrained water is found to return to the pH 2.9 (N-state) level upon UA-to-A transition. Fast-response water (slightly slower than bulk) around A-state hh cyt c is detected at pH 1.2, and this suggests some accumulation of TFA ions around the peptide chain. Thus, this high-resolution DR spectroscopy study reveals that hh cyt c exhibits significant hydration-state change in the TFA-unfolding process.  相似文献

It is well known that efficient functioning of photosynthetic (PET) and respiratory electron transport (RET) in cyanobacteria requires the presence of either cytochrome c6 (Cytc6) or plastocyanin (PC). By contrast, the interaction of an additional redox carrier, cytochrome cM (CytcM), with either PET or RET is still under discussion. Here, we focus on the (putative) role of CytcM in cyanobacterial respiration. It is demonstrated that genes encoding the main terminal oxidase (cytochrome c oxidase, COX) and cytochrome cM are found in all 44 totally or partially sequenced cyanobacteria (except one strain). In order to check whether CytcM can act as electron donor to COX, we investigated the intermolecular electron transfer kinetics between CytcM and the soluble CuA domain (i.e. the donor binding and electron entry site) of subunit II of COX. Both proteins from Synechocystis PCC6803 were expressed heterologously in E. coli. The forward and the reverse electron transfer reactions were studied yielding apparent bimolecular rate constants of (2.4 ± 0.1) × 105 M− 1 s− 1 and (9.6 ± 0.4) × 103 M− 1 s− 1 (5 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7, 50 mM KCl). A comparative analysis with Cytc6 and PC demonstrates that CytcM functions as electron donor to CuA as efficiently as Cytc6 but more efficient than PC. Furthermore, we demonstrate the association of CytcM with the cytoplasmic and thylakoid membrane fractions by immunobloting and discuss the potential role of CytcM as electron donor for COX under stress conditions.  相似文献

Cytochromes c6 and f react by three et mechanisms under similar conditions. We report temperature and viscosity effects on the protein docking and kinetics of 3Zncyt c6 + cyt f(III) → Zncyt c6+ + cyt f(II). At 0.5-40.0 °C, this reaction occurs within the persistent (associated) diprotein complex with the rate constant kpr and within the transient (collision) complex with the rate constant ktr. The viscosity independence of kpr, the donor-acceptor coupling Hab = (0.5 ± 0.1) cm−1, and reorganizational energy λ = (2.14 ± 0.02) eV indicate true et within the persistent complex. The viscosity dependence of ktr and a break at 30 °C in the Eyring plot for ktr reveal mechanisms within the transient complex that are reversibly switched by temperature change. Kramers protein friction parameters differ much for the reactions below (σ = 0.3 ± 0.1, δ = 0.85 ± 0.07) and above (σ = 4.0 ± 0.9, δ = 0.40 ± 0.06) 30 °C. The transient complex(es) undergo(es) coupled et below ca. 30 °C and gated et above ca. 30 °C. Brownian dynamics simulations reveal two broad, dynamic ensembles of configurations “bridged” by few intermediate configurations through which the interconversion presumably occurs.  相似文献

In this work the presence of inverted hexagonal phases HII of 1-palmitoy-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (POPE) and cardiolipin (CL) (0.8:0.2, mol/mol) in the presence of Ca2+ were observed via 31P-NMR spectroscopy. When suspensions of the same composition were extended onto mica, HII phases transformed into structures which features are those of supported planar bilayers (SPBs). When characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM), the SPBs revealed the existence of two laterally segregated domains (the interdomain height being ∼ 1 nm). Cytochrome c (cyt c), which binds preferentially to acidic phospholipids like CL, was used to demonstrate the nature of the domains. We used 1-anilinonaphtalen-8-sulfonate (ANS) to demonstrate that in the presence of cyt c, the fluorescence of ANS decreased significantly in lamellar phases. Conversely, the ANS binding to HII phases was negligible. When cyt c was injected into AFM fluid imaging cells, where SPBs of POPE:CL had previously formed poorly defined structures, protein aggregates (∼ 100 nm diameter) were ostensibly observed only on the upper domains, which suggests not only that they are mainly formed by CL, but also provides evidence of bilayer formation from HII phases. Furthermore, a model for the nanostructure of the SPBs is herein proposed.  相似文献

Three new mixed salicylaldiminato cyclopentadienyl zirconium complexes Cp′[2-But-6-(C6H11NCH)C6H3O]ZrCl2 (Cp′ = nBuC5H4 (3a), tBuC5H4 (3b) and Me4C5H (3c)) were prepared and the structure of complex 3c was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. All of the three complexes showed high activities for ethylene homopolymerization with the activation of methylaluminoxane, and 3a showed the highest activity up to 1.15 × 106 g PE/mol Zr h for ethylene homopolymerization at 70 °C. The 13C NMR spectrum showed that the obtained polymer is linear polyethylene. Complexes 3a-c also catalysed ethylene/1-hexene copolymerization with high activities from 6.29 × 105 to 12.3 × 105 g Copolymer/mol Zr h and with 0.89-1.39% 1-hexene incorporation level. In addition, the influence of the substituted alkyl on Cp on the catalytic behavior of corresponding zirconium complexes was discussed.  相似文献

We have used imidazole (Im) and N-methylimidazole (MeIm) as probes of the heme-binding cavity of membrane-bound cytochrome (cyt) c1 in detergent-solubilized bc1 complex from Rhodobacter sphaeroides. Imidazole binding to cyt c1 substantially lowers the midpoint potential of the heme and fully inhibits bc1 complex activity. Temperature dependences showed that binding of Im (Kd ≈ 330 μm, 25 °C, pH 8) is enthalpically driven (ΔH0 = −56 kJ/mol, ΔS0 = −121 J/mol/K), whereas binding of MeIm is 30 times weaker (Kd ≈ 9.3 mm) and is entropically driven (ΔH0 = 47 kJ/mol, ΔS0° = 197 J/mol/K). The large enthalpic and entropic contributions suggest significant structural and solvation changes in cyt c1 triggered by ligand binding. Comparison of these results with those obtained previously for soluble cyts c and c2 suggested that Im binding to cyt c1 is assisted by formation of hydrogen bonds within the heme cleft. This was strongly supported by molecular dynamics simulations of Im adducts of cyts c, c2, and c1, which showed hydrogen bonds formed between the NδH of Im and the cyt c1 protein, or with a water molecule sequestered with the ligand in the heme cleft.  相似文献

A novel chain-like luminescent samarium coordination polymer {Sm3(C8H4O4)4(C12N2H8)2(NO3)}n (C8H4O4 = phthalate, C12N2H8 = 1,10-phenanthroline) has been assembled by hydrothermal process. The title complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with lattice parameters a = 22.56(3) Å, b = 11.155(15) Å, c = 20.32(3) Å, β = 96.70(2)°, V = 5078(12) Å3, F(000) = 2964, GOF = 0.857, R1 = 0.0358, wR2 = 0.0597, Z = 4. Samarium ions exhibit different coordination modes from each other and lead to the unexpected high asymmetrical structure. To our knowledge, it is the first example of lanthanide coordination polymers comprising the three asymmetrical central Sm3+ fragments. The photophysical properties have been studied with excitation and emission spectra.  相似文献

Exogenous oxidative stress induces cell death, but the upstream molecular mechanisms involved of the process remain relatively unknown. We determined the instant dynamic reactions of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS, including hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), superoxide radical (O2), and nitric oxide (NO)) in cells exposed to exogenous oxidative stress by using a confocal laser scanning microscope. Stimulation with extracellular H2O2 significantly increased the production of intracellular H2O2, O2, and NO (P < 0.01) through certain mechanisms. Increased levels of intracellular ROS resulted in mitochondrial dysfunction, involving the impairment of mitochondrial activity and the depolarization of mitochondrial membrane potential. Mitochondrial dysfunction significantly inhibited the proliferation of human hepatoblastoma G2 (HepG2) cells and resulted in mitochondrial cytochrome c (cyt c) release. The results indicate that upstream ROS signals play a potential role in exogenous oxidative stress-induced cell death through mitochondrial dysfunction and cyt c release.  相似文献

Microorganisms living in arsenic-rich geothermal environments act on arsenic with different biochemical strategies, but the molecular mechanisms responsible for the resistance to the harmful effects of the metalloid have only partially been examined. In this study, we investigated the mechanisms of arsenic resistance in the thermophilic bacterium Thermus thermophilus HB27. This strain, originally isolated from a Japanese hot spring, exhibited tolerance to concentrations of arsenate and arsenite up to 20 mM and 15 mM, respectively; it owns in its genome a putative chromosomal arsenate reductase (TtarsC) gene encoding a protein homologous to the one well characterized from the plasmid pI258 of the Gram + bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. Differently from the majority of microorganisms, TtarsC is part of an operon including genes not related to arsenic resistance; qRT-PCR showed that its expression was four-fold increased when arsenate was added to the growth medium. The gene cloning and expression in Escherichia coli, followed by purification of the recombinant protein, proved that TtArsC was indeed a thioredoxin-coupled arsenate reductase with a kcat/KM value of 1.2 × 104 M− 1 s− 1. It also exhibited weak phosphatase activity with a kcat/KM value of 2.7 × 10− 4 M− 1 s− 1. The catalytic role of the first cysteine (Cys7) was ascertained by site-directed mutagenesis. These results identify TtArsC as an important component in the arsenic resistance in T. thermophilus giving the first structural–functional characterization of a thermophilic arsenate reductase.  相似文献

Three kinds of copper(II) azide complexes have been synthesised in excellent yields by reacting Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine (L1); N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N′,N′-dimethylethylenediamine (L2); and N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-N′,N′-diethylethylenediamine (L3), respectively, in the presence of slight excess of sodium azide. They are the monomeric Cu(L1)(N3)(ClO4) (1), the end-to-end diazido-bridged Cu2(L2)2(μ-1,3-N3)2(ClO4)2 (2) and the single azido-bridged (μ-1,3-) 1D chain [Cu(L3)(μ-1,3-N3)]n(ClO4)n (3). The crystal and molecular structures of these complexes have been solved. The variable temperature magnetic moments of type 2 and type 3 complexes were studied. Temperature dependent susceptibility for 2 was fitted using the Bleaney-Bowers expression which led to the parameters J = −3.43 cm−1 and R = 1 × 10−5.
