By the example of the formation of dissipative patterns in Belousov-Zhabotinsky reactions and in population waves of mobile microorganisms, an attempt was made to analyze the development of the "autowave conception" in the last ten years. New results obtained at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics, Russian Academy of Sciences, were demonstrated. The place of the "autowave conception" among other methods of studying nonlinear cooperative bioprocesses that form the basis of synergism is shown. The review was prepared on the occasion of the 275th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 2nd Biophysical Meeting of Russia.  相似文献

Lamyctes inexpectatus sp. n., characterized by a distinctive shape of the female gonopods, is described from European Russia. The new species is compared with other species of the genus Lamyctes from Russia, and a key to these species is given. Types of the new species are deposited at the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg.  相似文献

A short analysis is presented of the development in Russia of human geographical pathology and ecological physiology, and it is fair to say that Academician Alexander Pavlovich Avtsyn of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences was a founder of these scientific trends. His scientific heritage, theoretical bases of these sciences, and prospects for development of human ecological physiology and pathology are considered.  相似文献

A new genus is erected for Hysteropterum boreale Melichar, 1902 which is redescribed. Lectotype is designated in the type series of the species deposited in the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg, Russia). Photographs of the female (paralectotype) and drawings of the male (lectotype) genitalia are provided.  相似文献

Results are presented from numerical simulations of the drift trajectories of transit particles in the L-2M stellarator by using the TRAJ computer code developed at the Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia). Simulations show that, in a stellarator magnetic configuration with a large magnetic shear, transit ions that start from the same point of the magnetic surface and propagate in opposite directions have substantially different trajectories. Even with a simplified model of magnetic configuration, an analytical study of the ion drift motion allowed us to reveal possible underlying causes of this numerical result.  相似文献

Zoological Institute RAS (up to 1930--Zoological Museum) dates back to 1728, when the first Russian museum, Kunstkammer, was opened under the authority of the newly organized Russian Academy of Sciences. Zoological collections of Kunstkammer were greatly enriched by a number of naturalists who worked in Russia since the middle of the 18-th century, P. S. Pallas (1741-1811) and I. T. Koelreuther (1733-1806) were among them. Both had made an essential progress into helminthology. In 1895, Zoological Museum legislatively acquired a statute of the central institution in Russia for zoological research. Investigations of parasitic worms here become permanent. First parasitologists in its staff, A. K. Mordvilko (1867-1938) and N. P. Annenkova-Khlopina (1887-1950), should be mentioned.  相似文献

The fauna of chewing lice (Insecta: Phthiraptera) from migratory birds was studied in 2008–2009 and 2017 on the Curonian Spit, at Rybachy Biological Station of the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences. Altogether, 35 species of chewing lice were collected off 2010 birds of 65 species. An annotated list of species is presented, including 11 species new to the Russian Federation, 29 species new to the Northwest of Russia, and 2 new host records: Menacanthus eurysternus from Carduellis carduellis and Ricinus frenatusfromCarduellis spinus.  相似文献

The unique material of A.S. Serebrovsky's gene-geographic studies, most of which is kept at the Archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was analyzed and summarized. A comparison of 58 populations of the domestic chicken was conducted. These populations were described by Serebrovsky and his coworkers in 23 regions of the former USSR from 1926 to 1933. On the dendrogram constructed on the basis of a comparison between the frequencies of 14 genes of the domestic chicken, three major clusters can be detected. Russian populations formed a separate cluster. Ukrainian populations clustered with some North-Caucasian populations. The Bashkir chicken populations were shown to be unique. A parallel change in frequencies of some gene pairs (termed by Serebrovsky "gene parallelism") was studied. As a result, three pathways for spreading domestic chickens from Asia to Russia were suggested: through Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.  相似文献

A new species, Idaea pseudoaversata, is described from the Far East. According to the coloration and wing pattern, the new species is similar to I. straminata (Borkhausen, 1794). The species is closely related to I. aversata (Linnaeus, 1758), but differs in the presence of seven cornuti in the aedeagus. The type material of the new species is deposited in the Institute of Animal Systematics and Ecology, Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk, Russia).  相似文献

I. P. Pavlov, the great Russian physiologist, the founder of a leading scientific school of physiology, first Russian scientist to be awarded the Nobel Prize. Pavlov's work received wide international recognition. He was elected full or honorary member of more than 120 academies, scientific societies and universities. In 1907 he was elected a Full Member (Academician) of Russian Academy of Sciences and headed the Physiological Laboratory of the Academy. In 1925, at his petition, the Laboratory was transformed into the Physiological Institute, remaining his head until 1936, when he had died. Since 1950 this is the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.  相似文献

The fauna of bloodsucking Diptera of northwestern Russia comprises 226 species of mosquitoes (Culicidae), biting midges (Ceratopogonidae), black flies (Simuliidae) and horseflies (Tabanidae). In particular, Culicidae include 41 species from 10 subgenera of 5 genera of 2 subfamilies. Simuliidae are represented by 110 species of 23 genera, belonging to 6 tribes of 2 subfamilies; the genus Culicoides of the Ceratopogonidae, by 31 species; and Tabanidae, by 44 species of 7 genera from 2 subfamilies. There is a necessity of elaboration and application of more advanced forms of information storage and field data standardization. In the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, a special database on the bloodsucking insects of Russia is created in the DBMS Access. A list of abundant bloodsucking species of mosquitoes, biting midges, black flies and horseflies is included. A brief synopsis of bibliography of investigations of the bloodsucking dipterans from northwestern Russia is given, provided with a list of more then 190 publication.  相似文献
