Abstract:A taxonomic revision of the lichenized species of the genus Omphalina in the Iberian Peninsula is presented, based upon fungal and lichen herbarium material, as well as on fresh collections. Relevant morphological and ecological features are discussed and a diagnostic key is provided. Four lichenized species, O. ericetorum, O. hudsoniana, O. meridionalis and O. velutina, are recognized. A squamulose vegetative thallus (Coriscium -type) is present only in O. hudsoniana, while the other three species form a thallus of hyphal globules (Botrydina -type). Anatomical features of the vegetative thallus cannot be used to distinguish between these last three species. Whilst O. hudsoniana is known only from the montane belt of the Eurosiberian Region and O. meridionalis seems to be restricted to the Mediterranean Region, living in more or less humid sites of the Supramediterranean belt, the other two species, O. ericetorum and O. velutina, are widespread. 相似文献

The causal agent of witches' broom disease, Moniliophthora perniciosa is a hemibiotrophic and endemic fungus of the Amazon basin and the most important cocoa disease in Brazil. The purpose of this study was to analyze the genetic diversity of polysporic isolates of M. perniciosa to evaluate the adaptation of the pathogen from different Brazilian regions and its association with different hosts. Polysporic isolates obtained previously in potato dextrose agar cultures of M. perniciosa from different Brazilian states and different hosts (Theobroma cacao, Solanum cernuum, S. paniculatum, S. lycocarpum, Solanum sp, and others) were analyzed by somatic compatibility grouping where the mycelium interactions were distinguished after 4-8 weeks of confrontation between the different isolates of M. perniciosa based on the precipitation line in the transition zone and by protein electrophoresis through SDS-PAGE. The diversity of polysporic isolates of M. perniciosa was grouped according to geographic proximity and respective hosts. The great genetic diversity of M. perniciosa strains from different Brazilian states and hosts favored adaptation in unusual environments and dissemination at long distances generating new biotypes. 相似文献

Sterols, fatty acids and free amino acids of four species of Tricholomataceae were investigated. They contained ergosterol in high amount and the related sterols, fucosterol, sitosterol, cholesterol and brassicasterol. Linoleic and palmitic are the main unsaturated and saturated fatty acids respectively. The most abundant free amino acids were alanine, valine and proline. 相似文献

This fungus belongs in subgenusTricholoma sectionGenuina due to the coloration of the pileus surface. A new taxon in the Infundibulicybe gibba complex (Basidiomycota, Agaricales, Tricholomataceae) from Sardinia (Italy) 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
A new species of Infundibulicybe (viz. I. mediterranea sp. nov.) is described from Sardinia based both on morphological and molecular ITS data. The species, a close ally of I. gibba, differs from the latter in the darker tinges of the basidiomata, the stipe, which is nearly concolorous with the pileus, and smaller basidiospores. Drawings of the main micro-morphological features as well as a color photograph of fresh basidiomata in situ are provided. 相似文献

Psathyrella dunensis
Kits van Waveren, so far only known from the type locality in the Netherlands, was found in E. Austria and is more fully described. New information about its macro- and microscopical characters, ecology and distribution is provided and discussed. The carpophores vary more in size and surface structure than hitherto observed. Its habitat comprises riparian forests and other sandy soils like e.g. sand-dunes. 相似文献

Errors by Rataj in lecto- and neotypification of five names inEchinodorus are corrected. These errors include the selection of lectotype specimens that were not cited in the protologue and the designation of neotypes from syntypes. Lectotypes for four of the names are designated here. The other is not typified at this time, as we have as yet been unable to examine the cited collections. In addition, a lectotype is designated for the Linnaean nameAlisma cordifolia, a name for which Rataj did not choose a lectotype. A new species,Echinodorus reticulatus, is described and illustrated. Five new combinations at the subspecies level are proposed, with most of these subspecies having a distribution from Central America to Paraguay and Argentina. 相似文献
