The experiments on rabbits under acute emotional stress have revealed a rise in activity of proteinases of blood serum, salivary glands and no changes of this activity in watery moisture of an eye. The activity of alpha-antitrypsin in watery moisture of an eye, unlike the blood serum, significantly increased, that evidently prevented the activation of proteolysis in it. The emotional stress is also accompanied by the intensification of fibrinolysis, one of the most important proteolytic systems of the blood.  相似文献

Contribution of genetic and environmental factors in phenotypic variability of blood pressure level and skinfold thickness, and phenotypic correlation between these characters was calculated on the basis of familial correlations. It was shown that genetic determinant explains considerable portion of blood pressure level and skinfold thickness variability. Among common environmental effects, the factors affecting one generation are important with regard to variability of these characters. Maternal effect is expressed in the variability of systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Correlation between blood pressure level and triceps skinfold thickness is determined by genetic factors, whereas that between blood pressure level and subscapular skinfold thickness is mediated by environmental factors. The results obtained may be applied in populational prevention of cardiovascular disease.  相似文献

Activation of alpha1-adrenergic receptors has been linked to the control of blood pressure, neuroendocrine secretion, reproductive behavior and mood. The present study describes the distribution of alpha1B-adrenergic receptor immunoreactivity in female rat brain regions involved in stress and neuroendocrine function. The pattern of immunolabeling seen resembles that obtained in previous in situ hybridization studies. Several hypothalamic areas that control pituitary function showed intense fiber and/or cell immunolabeling, including the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus, the supraoptic nucleus, and the median eminence. Some regions such as the arcuate nucleus, the median eminence, and dorsal hypothalamus exhibit intense labeling of axonal varicosities, while other regions exhibit only perikarya immunolabeling. alpha1B-adrenergic receptor immunoreactivity was also observed in large pyramidal neurons of layer V of the cerebral cortex, the frontal cortex showing a particularly strong immunoreactivity. Virtually all thalamic regions were labeled, especially the lateral and ventral areas. In addition, labeled cells were present in hippocampus, the medial septum, the horizontal and vertical limbs of the diagonal band of Broca, and the caudate putamen. Finally, some midbrain and hindbrain regions important for motor function were immunoreactive. Because ligands specific for alpha1-adrenergic receptor subtypes are not available, the present immunocytochemical study not only addresses the subcellular and regional distribution of alpha1B-adrenergic receptors but may also provide clues about receptor subtype-specific function.  相似文献

Computer analysis and histochemical techniques were used to investigate catecholamine concentration in the adrenergic plexuses of the spleen and small intestine in rats. The concentration was found to increase during both emotional and short-term cold-induced stress. Injection of 10 mg/kg guanethidine i.p. does not counteract cold-induced accumulation of catecholamines in the adrenergic plexuses of the spleen and small intestine. During emotional stress, by contrast, an accumulation of this sort does take place. The mechanisms potentially underlying catecholamine accumulation in the adrenergic plexus of these organisms associated with different types of stress are discussed. Cold-induced stress is thought to produce catecholamine synthesis in the adrenergic nerve endings of the prevertebral ganglia, whereas emotional stress leads to catecholamine uptake by adrenergic terminals from the blood.Institute of Physiology, Academy of Sciences of the Byelorussian SSR, Minsk. In alert normotensive and hypertensive (SHR) rats, effects of imidazoline receptor activating compounds of the central nervous system on the level of blood pressure, heart rate and value of arterial baroreceptor reflex at rest and in emotional tension, were investigated. It was shown, that the activation of the cerebral imidazoline receptors leads to an increase in the baroreceptor reflex value (both in resting and in emotional tension) and a decrease in the pressor reaction evoked by emotional affect. No data showing the role of imidazoline receptors in functioning of systems regulating of the initial level of blood pressure were obtained.  相似文献

Changes in major parameters of alpha1-adrenergic and muscarinic cholinergic responses of arterial blood pressure (EC50 and P(m)) were studied in rabbits adapted to cold for 1-30 days (daily cold exposures for 6 hours at -10 degrees C). It was shown that responses to noradrenaline, adrenaline (agonists of alpha1-adrenoceptors) and acetylcholine (agonist of muscarinic cholinoreceptors) could be expressed by equation p = (Pm- A(n))/(EC50(n) + A(n)) with n = 1. Adaptation to cold induced radically different changes in the major parameters of adrenergic and cholinergic responses. In the noradrenergic responses, the parameters EC50 and Pm gradually decreased within 1-30 days of adaptation. In the adrenaline responses, Pm increased from 1 to 30 days of adaptation, EC50 decreased to 10 day and increased on the 30th day. In the muscarinic cholinergic response, the Pm value decreased from 1 and 10 days but returned to control values on the 30th day. IC5O did not differ from the control 1 day, decreased to 10 days and increased on the 30th day.  相似文献

The emotional stress induces changes in redox processes in the visual analyzer at the level of the succinic acid transformation in the Krebs cycle. The stress evokes a particularly sharp decrease in the succinate dehydrogenase activity in the retina under conditions of dark adaptation whereas in the occipital lobes under the same condition a considerable intensification of the succinic acid oxidation is observed. Stress action under ordinary conditions of the day and night change is accompanied by the succinate dehydrogenase activation in the visual analyzer. However, the light load increases the enzyme activity in test animals the same way as in intact animals.  相似文献

Neuropeptide Y significantly reduced the potassium-stimulated release of [3H]norepinephrine [( 3H]NE) from slices of rat hippocampus, hypothalamus and frontal cortex but not from slices of parieto-occipital cortex. The NPY-induced inhibition of [3H]NE release from frontal cortical slices was concentration dependent, reaching statistical significance at 10 nM. The alpha 2-adrenoceptor partial agonist, clonidine, also reduced the potassium-stimulated release of [3H]NE. The combination of NPY and clonidine in hippocampal slices produced a greater reduction of stimulated [3H]NE release than either of the two compounds alone, suggesting a potentiation of their activity, whereas in frontal cortical slices, the effect was additive. When NPY and clonidine were added to frontal cortical slices, they independently produced a significant concentration-dependent reduction in forskolin-stimulated cAMP accumulation. However, NPY and clonidine combined did not produce a further reduction in forskolin-induced cAMP accumulation than either compound when used alone. These results suggest that the ability of NPY to potentiate alpha 2-adrenoceptor-induced inhibition of [3H]NE release in discrete brain regions does not depend on the reductions in cAMP.  相似文献

Tyrosine hydroxylase activity correlated significantly with norepinephrine concentration and turnover, when results from regions containing predominantly noradrenergic terminals were compared, and with dopamine concentration and turnover when results from regions containing predominantly dopaminergic terminals were compared. Regions containing dopamine or norepinephrine cell bodies were characterized by higher tyrosine hydroxylase activities as compared to regions containing mostly nerve terminals. Higher levels of tyrosine hydroxylase activity and transmitter turnover were observed in regions containing dopaminergic terminals than in regions containing norepinephrine terminals. These findings are consistent with the view that tyrosine hydroxylase activity is linked to rates of catecholamine utilization by neurons in the CNS.  相似文献

Vasopressinergic neurons in the paraventricular nucleus project to areas in the spinal cord from which sympathetic nerves originate. This pathway is hypothesized to be involved in the regulation of mean arterial pressure (MAP), particularly under various conditions of osmotic stress. Several studies measuring sympathetic nerve activity support this hypothesis. However, the evidence that spinal vasopressin influences MAP under physiological or pathophysiological conditions in conscious animals is limited. The purpose of this study was to investigate, in conscious rats, if the increases in MAP during acute or chronic osmotic stimuli are due to activation of spinal vasopressin (V1a) receptors. Three conditions of osmotic stress were examined: acute intravenous hypertonic saline, 24- and 48-h water deprivation, and 4 wk of DOCA-salt treatment. Rats were chronically instrumented with an indwelling catheter for intrathecal injections and a radiotelemeter to measure MAP. In normotensive rats, intrathecal vasopressin and V1a agonist increased MAP, heart rate, and motor activity; these responses were blocked by pretreatment with an intrathecal V1a receptor antagonist. However, when the intrathecal V1a antagonist was given during the three conditions of osmotic stress to investigate the role of "endogenous" vasopressin, the antagonist had no effect on MAP, heart rate, or motor activity. Contrary to the hypothesis suggested by previous studies, these findings indicate that spinal V1a receptors are not required for elevations of MAP under conditions of acute or chronic osmotic stress in conscious rats.  相似文献

TBA-reactive products were measured in the brain, liver, and heart of Wistar rats in control conditions and after 24 h immobilization. Animals were subjected to the open field test before and after the immobilization. Behavior patterns, gastric mucosa alterations and MDA accumulation in organs suggested that immobilization as well as food and water deprivation were all strong stressor stimuli. Initial open field behavior characteristics were significantly correlated with MDA contents in various tissues under emotional stress.  相似文献

The authors review the results of extraction from the brain of emotional stress-resistant donor rats of fractions containing "factor" that causes the increased resistance to stress in recipient rats predisposed to stress. Brain homogenates of donor rats were subjected to thermal treatment, gel filtration on Sephadex G-15 and lyophilization. The fractions extracted are low-molecular weight, thermostable, resistant to pronase hydrolysis and significantly (P less than 0.05) increase the resistance of recipient rats to stress.  相似文献

To investigate the quantitative correlations between cardiovascular and endogenous catecholamine response to mental stress, we gave a mental arithmetic test to 20 young healthy men. A direct and non-invasive haemodynamic measurement was performed by serial M-mode echocardiography. Heart rate, blood pressure, cardiac output, stroke volume, ejection fraction, left ventricular end-systolic pressure-volume ratio and plasma epinephrine increased over the baseline period during the test. The peripheral resistance and left ventricular end-systolic volume decreased, whereas left ventricular end-diastolic volume and plasma norepinephrine were unaltered. Furthermore, the degree of change in each haemodynamic parameter showing significant reaction, was well correlated with that of the increase in plasma epinephrine. The data suggest that acute mental stress induces endogenous epinephrine secretion resulting in a beta-adrenergic activated state in the cardiovascular system, namely, positive chronotropism, positive inotropism and vasodilatation.  相似文献

Rats were divided in two groups by the reaction of emotional resonance (RER): with emotionally positive reactions (I, with fast RER acquisition, up to 100 s) and with emotionally negative reactions (II, with slow RER acquisition, more than 200 s). After the RER acquisition, the activity of 5-hydroxitryptophan (5-HT) system of the I group of animals was lower than in the II group. The activity of noradrenaline (NA) and dopamine (DA) systems of the I group of animals was higher than in the II group. The between-group differences were enhanced by subcutaneous injection of dalargin. In some brain structures dalargin reversed these relations. These findings point to a complicated interpenetrating character of emotionally positive and emotionally negative states. Emotionally positive states include components of emotionally positive states, and emotionally negative states include components of emotionally positive states. Increase in 5-HT activity and decrease in activity of NA, DA, and opioid (OP) systems induce formation of emotionally negative states. Decrease in 5-HT activity and increase in activity of NA, DA, and OP systems induce formation of the emotionally positive state. It is suggested that 5-HT, NA, and DA systems play the central role in the processes of reinforcement, acquire the evaluative function, and are included in realization of all types of behaviors. OP is a primary modulator system which accompanies the unconditioned pain stimulus and connects it with systems of evaluative function.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare the relationship of ventilation (VE) with pH, arterial concentrations of potassium [( K+]a), bicarbonate [( HCO3-]a), lactate [( la]a), and acid-base parameters which would affect hyperpnoea during exercise and recovery. To assess this relationship, ten healthy male subjects exercised with intensity increasing as a ramp function of 20 W.min-1 until voluntary exhaustion and they were then allowed a 5-min recovery period. Breath-by-breath gas exchange data, [HCO3-]a, pH, [la]a, [K+]a and blood gases were determined during both exercise and recovery. Using a linear regression method, the VE/[K+]a relationship was analysed during both exercise and recovery. Several interesting results were obtained: a significant relationship between [K+]a and VE was observed during recovery as well as during exercise; the VE at any given values of [K+]a was significantly higher during recovery than during exercise and out of those factors affecting exercise hyperpnoea, only [K+]a had a similar time-course to VE during recovery. Changes in [K+]a during recovery were shown to occur significantly faster than VE with an [K+]a time constant of 70.0 s, SD 16.2 as opposed to 105.5 s, SD 10.0 for VE (P less than 0.01). These results provided further evidence that [K+]a might play an important role as a substance which can stimulate exercise hyperpnoea as has been suggested by other workers. The present study also showed that during recovery [K+]a contributed significantly to the control of VE.  相似文献
