The one pot aqueous reaction of M(ClO4)2 (M = Cu2+ or Ni2+) with N-methylbis[2-(2-pyridylethyl)]amine (MeDEPA) and N,N′-dimethyl-N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethylenediamine (bpmen) and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (cyclen) in presence of sodium dicyanamide (Nadca) yielded dicyanamido-bridged polynuclear complex {[Cu(MeDEPA)(μ-1,5-dca)]ClO4}n (1), and two dinuclear complexes [Cu2(bpmen)2(μ-1,5-dca)]2(ClO4)5dca (2) and [Ni(cyclen)(μ-1,5-dca)]2(ClO4)2 (3). These complexes were characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Room temperature single-crystal X-ray studies have confirmed that the Cu(II) centers in 1 and 2 adopt geometries that are more close to trigonal bipyramidal (TBP) in 1 and close to square pyramidal (SP) in 2, whereas in 3, the Ni(II) centers are located in octahedral environment with doubly bridged μ-1,5-dca bonding mode. The intermolecular M···M distances in these complexes are in the range of 7.3-8.6 Å. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility studies have confirmed that the dca-bridges mediate very weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the M(II) centers with J values of −0.35, −0.18 and −0.43 cm−1 for 1, 2 and 3, respectively. The results are compared and discussed in the light of other related bridged μ-1,5-dca Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes.  相似文献

A dicyanamide bridged 2D polynuclear complex of copper(II) having molecular formula [Cu2(L)(μ1,5-dca)2]n (1) has been synthesized using the Schiff base ligand N,N′-bis(salicylidene)-1,3-diaminopentane, (H2L) and sodium dicyanamide (dca). The complex presents a 2D hexagonal structure formed by 1,5-dca singly bridged helical chains connected through double 1,5-dca bridges. The chelating characteristics of the H2L Schiff base ligand results in the formation of copper(II) dimer with a double phenoxo bridge presenting a very strong antiferromagnetic coupling in the copper(II) derivative (1) (J = −510 cm−1). The dimeric asymmetric unit of 1 is very similar to the active site of the catechol oxidase and, as expected, also presents catalytic activity for the oxidation of 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol to 3,5-di-tert-butylquinone in presence of O2, as demonstrated by kinetic studies of this oxidation reaction monitored by absorption spectroscopy resulting in high turnover number (Kcat = 259 h−1).  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structures and magnetic properties of two different copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(L1)(dca)]n · nClO4 (1) and [Cu(L2)]2(dca)(ClO4) (2) [L1 = N,N-dimethylethylene-N′-(pyridine-2-carbaldiiminato), HL2 = N,N-dimethylethylene-N′-salicylaldiiminato, dca = dicyanamide anion] are described. Spectroscopic and electrochemical properties have also been discussed. A one-dimensional chain structure with single, symmetrical, μ1,5-dca bridges is found in compound 1. The copper atom in 1 has a square pyramidal geometry. A tridentate Schiff base ligand, having NNN donor sites, and one nitrogen atom from dca occupy the basal plane. N(18) of a neighbouring unit occupies the apical site. The Schiff base used in compound 2 is a tridentate anion with NNO donor sites, which changes the structure in a dinuclear unit of copper atoms bridged by single end-to-end dicyanamide ion. The environment around copper in 2 is square planar. Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 and 2 reveal the occurrence of weak antiferromagnetic interaction through the dca ligand.  相似文献

Two new dicyanamide (dicyanamide=[N(CN)2], dca) bridged complexes, [Cu(μ1,5-dca)2(phen)]n (1) and [Cd(μ1,5-dca)2(py)2]n (2) have been synthesized and their structures have been determined by X-ray crystallography diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a=10.1502(3), b=10.9815(4), c=14.5839(4) Å and Z=4. The adjacent copper atoms are connected by single end-to-end dca bridges to form a chain structure along the b axis. The chains are linked via Cu?N weak interactions to give rise to a 2D layer structure, which furthermore into a 3D structure by the π-π interaction between aromatic rings of adjacent layers. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/m with a=6.6849(10), b=17.476(2), c=13.231(2) Å and Z=4. The cadmium(II) center is six-coordinated with a distorted octahedral geometry, bounded to four N atoms of four dca ligands and two N atoms of two-chelated py ligands. Neighbor Cd(II) atoms are linked by the double end-to-end dca bridges to generate a chain structure, which result in a 2D layer structure through the π-π interactions between the adjacent chains with distances 3.641 Å. EPR and magnetic results of 1 suggest that the complex exhibits a weak ferromagnetic interaction through CuNCNCNCu pathways.  相似文献

Four novel coordination polymers, one-dimensional chains [M(PTE)2(N3)2]n (M = Mn for 1 and Co for 2), and two-dimensional layers [M(PTE)2(dca)2]n (M = Mn for 3 and Co for 4) (PTE = 1-(2,4-difluorophenyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethanone, dca = dicyanamide anion, N(CN)2), have been synthesized under mild ambient conditions and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In all four crystal structures, the metal atoms adopt octahedral coordination geometry with six nitrogen atoms from two monodentate PTE ligands and four azido (or dca) bridging ligands. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 are isostructural 1-D polymeric chains, alternatively linked by double end-on and double end-to-end azido bridges. However, the bent dca ligands as bidentate μ2-1,5 bridging ligands interlink the octahedral metal units to lead to 2-D (4,4) grid networks in 3 and 4. Temperature-dependent magnetic measurements in 2-300 K have been performed for these four polymers, and suggest alternative ferro- and antiferromagnetic couplings for end-on and end-to-end azido bridges in 1, and the dominant ferromagnetic coupling in 2, respectively. Both polymers 3 and 4 show weak antiferromagnetic exchanges through the μ2-1,5-dca bridges. The effects of auxiliary coligands on the structure and the nature of these magnetic exchanges are discussed in the light of the crystal structures in detail.  相似文献

Two 1D coordination polymers, [Cu(mal)(Hdpa)]n (1) and {[Cu(mal)(tpy)] · 4H2O}n (2) (mal = maleate, Hdpa = 2, 2′-dipyridylamine and tpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine), have been synthesized and their crystal structures, IR spectra, thermal analyses, magnetic properties were determined. In 1 and 2, the maleate ligands link adjacent metal centers to form 1D coordination polymeric chains. Furthermore, the carboxylate oxygen atoms and the aromatic chelate ligands provide potential supramolecular recognition sites for noncovalent interactions to form higher dimensionality. In 1, each pair of 1D chains recognize each other through strong hydrogen bond formed by active amine (-NH-) hydrogen and aromatic π-π stacking interactions to generate a zipperlike double-stranded chain. In contrast, when the substitutions of tpy for dpa further enhance the π-π aromatic stacking interactions, complex 2 is directly constructed into 2D zipperlike layers by the unprecedented aromatic π-π stacking interactions that same orientated aromatic chelate ligands are simultaneously attached to both sides of the chain and the significant C-H?O hydrogen bonds. These layers are constructed through hydrogen bonds and result in a 3D supramolecular network with 1D open channels, in which exists an unprecedented one-dimensional water chain. Both were magnetically characterized, showing weak ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Three new ion-pair complexes, [4RBzDMAP]2[Cu(mnt)2] (mnt2− = maleonitriledithiolate; [4RBzDMAP]+ = 1-(4′-R-benzyl)-4-dimethylaminopyridinium, R = F(1), Cl(2) and Br(3)) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV, single crystal X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. The [Cu(mnt)2]2− anions and the cations stack alternately and form a 1D column via C-H···S, C-H···π or C-H···Cu interactions for 1 and 2. While the cations stack into a column though π···π or C-H···π interactions between pyridine and phenyl rings for 1 and 3. The change of the molecular topology of the counteraction when the 4-substituted group in the benzyl ring have been changed from F or Cl to Br atom, results in the difference in the crystal system, space group and the stacking mode of the cations and anions of 1, 2 and 3. Some weak hydrogen bonds between the adjacent columns further generate a 3D network structure. It is interesting that 1 and 2 exhibits antiferromagnetic coupling with θ = −2.372 K and θ = −14.732 K, while 3 shows weak ferromagnetic coupling feature with θ = 0.381 K.  相似文献

In this paper, two di-substituted triazine-based ligands, 6-chloro-N,N,NN′-tetrakis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-[1,3,5]triazine-2,4-diamine (L1), and 6-chloro-N,N′-bis-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-N,N′-bis-thiophen-2-ylmethyl-[1,3,5]triazine-2,4-diamine (L2), have been prepared. Reaction of CuCl2·2H2O and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O with L1 and L2 results in the formation of [Cu2Cl4(L1)]·3MeOH (compound 1), [Cu4(NO3)8(L1)2]·2.07CH2Cl2·0.93MeOH (compound 2), [Cu2Cl4(L2)2] (compound 3) and [Cu(NO3)2(L2)]·CH2Cl2 (compound 4), respectively, which have been fully characterized and determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, FT-IR, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric measurement and magnetic susceptibility. The dinuclear compound 1 shows strong π-π interactions between the neighboring pyridine rings. The nitrate-π (1,3,5-triazine ring) interaction with the distance of 2.755 Å in compound 2, is the closest contact reported so far. Compounds 3 and 4 are mononuclear copper(II) compounds, in which none of thiophene rings coordinates with copper(II) ion. In addition, the different orientations of two thiophene rings in compounds 3 and 4 lead to the π-π and CH2Cl2-π (thiophene ring) interactions in compound 4, but not in compound 3.  相似文献

One 3D and one 2D μ1,5-dicyanamide bridged NiII complexes having molecular formula [Ni(L1)(dca)2] (1) and [Ni2(L2)2(dca)4] · 0.5H2O (2) (L1 = 4-(2-aminoethyl)-morpholine, L2 = 1-(2-aminoethyl)-piperidine and dca = dicyanamide dianion) have been synthesized. X-ray single crystal analyses and low temperature magnetic measurements were used to characterize the complexes. Complex 1 represents a 3D structure where each metal ion is chelated by morpholine ligand (L1) and connected by four μ1,5-dca. Whereas complex 2 shows an undulated 2D structure with grid of (4,4) topology having two crystallographically independent NiII centers in similar octahedral environment where each metal center is chelated by one piperidine ligand (L2) and coordinated by four μ1,5-dca. Magnetic measurements of both the complexes indicate weak antiferromagnetic interactions through the μ-1,5-dca bridging ligands.  相似文献

Reaction of Cu(NO3)2 · 3H2O, N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-ethylenediamine (L) and sodium dicyanamide (Nadca) in aqueous medium yields a complex the {[Cu2L2(μ-1,5-dca)2(dca)2]}n complex, 1. Single crystal X-ray analysis reveals that complex 1 has a 1D infinite chain structure in which copper(II) ions are bridged by single dicyanamide anions in an end-to-end fashion. The coordination environment around copper(II) is distorted square pyramidal. Two among the four coordination sites of the basal plane are occupied by the nitrogen atoms of the diamine and two remaining sites are occupied by the terminal nitrogen atom of a bridging and of a monodentate dca anions. The fifth coordination site (apical) is occupied by a nitrogen atom from a bridging dca anion of an adjacent CuL(dca)2 moiety, yielding the [Cu2L2(μ-1,5-dca)2(dca)2] dinuclear unit. Dimeric units are connected to each other by single μ-1,5-dicyanamido group to form infinite 1D chains which propagate parallel to the crystallographic c-axis. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements evidenced weakly antiferromagnetic interactions (J = −0.26 cm−1) in {[Cu2L2(μ-1,5-dca)2(dca)2]}n, 1.  相似文献

Complexes [Cu(HSas)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3Sas = N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspartic acid) (1), [Cu(HMeSglu)(H2O)] · 2H2O (H3MeSglu = (N-(2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzyl)-l-glutamic acid) (2), [Cu2(Smet)2] (H2Smet = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-methionine) (3), [Ni(HSas)(H2O)] (4), [Ni2(Smet)2(H2O)2] (5), and [Ni(HSapg)2] (H2Sapg = (N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-l-aspargine) (6) have been synthesized and characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Structural determination by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed 1D coordination polymeric structures in 2 and 4, and hydrogen-bonded network structure in 5 and 6. In contrast to previously reported coordination compounds with similar ligands, the phenol remains protonated and bonded to the metal ions in 2 and 4, and also probably in 1. However, the phenolic group is non-bonded in 6.  相似文献

Using the ligand 1,4,5-triazanaphthalene (abbreviated as tan) in combination with Cu(II) salts, three mononuclear compounds, Cu(tan)2Cl2 (1), Cu(tan)2Br2 (3), Cu(tan)2(NO3)2 (5) and three polynuclear compounds, [Cu(tan)Cl2]n (2), [Cu(tan)Br2]n (4), [Cu(tan)(NO3)2]n (6) have been synthesized and characterized by UV-Vis, EPR, FTIR and Far-FTIR spectroscopies. The crystal structures of compounds 1, 3, 5 and 6 are reported, as well as that of the dioxane adduct of compound 4, [Cu(tan)Br2(C4H8O2)](C4H8O2) (4A).The structure of (2) was solved by X-ray powder diffraction. The coordination geometry around the Cu(II) atoms is tetrahedral for (1) and (3), square-pyramidal for (4A) and distorted octahedral for (5) and (6). Magnetic susceptibility measurements on the polynuclear compounds revealed weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the Cu(II) atoms with interaction constants (J) of J = −9.1 and −10.5 cm−1, for 4 and 6, respectively. For compound 2 two options for possible interactions were considered, with interaction constants which vary for Jrung −22.0 to −13.5 cm−1 and Jrail −19.6 to −17.0 cm−1. These figures are discussed in the light of relevant structural parameters and literature.  相似文献

Three new copper(I) complexes with tricyclohexylphosphine (PCy3) and different diimine ligands, [Cu(phen)(PCy3)]BF4 (1) (phen = 1,10′-phennanthroline), [Cu(bpy)(PCy3)2]BF4 (2) (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) and [Cu(MeO-CNN)(PCy3)]BF4 (3) (MeO-CNN = 6-(4-methoxyl)phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine), have been synthesized and characterized. X-ray structure reveals that complexes 1 and 3 are three-coordinated with trigonal geometry, while complex 2 adopts distorted tetrahedron geometry. Complexes 1 and 3 exhibit ligand redistribution reactions in chloromethane solution by addition of excess amount of PCy3, in which three-coordinated 1 changes into four-coordinated [Cu(phen)(PCy3)2]+, and 3 leads to form [Cu(PCy3)2]BF4 and CNN-OMe. All the three complexes display yellow 3MLCT emissions in solid state at room temperature with λmax at 558, 564 and 582 nm for 1, 2 and 3, respectively, and red-shift to 605, 628 and 643 nm at 77 K in dichloromethane solution.  相似文献

Six 2D and 3D supramolecular complexes [Cu(L1)(O2CCH3)2] · H2O (1), [Cu2(L2)22-O2CCH3)2](BF4)2 (2), [Cu2(L1)2(BDC)(NO3)2] · 0.5H2O (3) [Cu2(L2)2(BDC)(NO3)2] (4), [Cu2(L3)2(BDC)(NO3)2] · 0.5H2O (5) and [Cu2(L2)2(BDC)(H2O)2](BDC) · 8H2O (6) (L1 = 4′-(4-pyridyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine, L2 = 4′-(2-pyridyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine, L3 = 4′-phenyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine, BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate), have been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction crystallography. In complexes 1, 3, and 4, 1D channels are formed through C-H?O and C-H?N hydrogen-bonding interactions, and further linked into 3D structure via C-H?O and O-H?O interactions. Complex 2 is a 2D layer constructed from intermolecular C-H?F and π-π stacking interactions. In the structure of 6, the BDC2− ions and solvent water molecules form a novel 2D layer containing left- and right-handed helical chains via hydrogen-bonds, and an unusual discrete water octamer is formed within the layer. In 2, 4, 6 and [Ag2(L2)2](PF6)2 (7) the bonding types of pendent pyridines of L2 depending on the twist about central pyridines are involved in intramolecular (2 and 4), intermolecular (6) or coordination bonds (7) in-twist-order of 5.8°, 3.7°, 28.2° and 38.0°, respectively. Differently, the pendent pyridines of L1 in 1 and 3 form intermolecular hydrogen bonds despite of distinct corresponding twist angles of 25.1° (1) and 42.6°(3). Meanwhile, π-π stacking interactions are present in 1-6 and responsible for the stabilization of these complexes.  相似文献

The reactions of six diimine ligands with Cu(II) and Ni(II) halide salts have been investigated. The diimine ligands were Ph2CN(CH2)nNCPh2 (n = 2 (Bz2en, 1a), 3 (Bz2pn, 1b), 4 (Bz2bn, 1c)), N,N′-bis-(2-tert-butylthio-1-ylmethylenebenzene)-2,2′diamino-biphenyl (2), N,N′-bis-(2-chloro-1-ylmethylenebenzene)-1,3-diaminobenzene (3) and N,N′-bis-(2-chloro-1-ylmethylenebenzene)-1,2-ethanediamine (4). Reactions of 1a-c, 2-4 with CuCl2·2H2O in dry ethanol at ambient temperature led to complete or partial hydrolysis of the diimine ligands to ultimately form copper diamine complexes. The non-hydrolyzed complexes of 1b and 1c, [Cu(L)Cl2] (L = 1b, 1c), could be isolated when the reactions were carried out at low temperatures, and the half-hydrolyzed complex [Cu(Bzpn)Cl2] could also be identified via X-ray crystallography. Similarly, reactions of 1a or 1b with NiCl2·6H2O or [NiBr2(dme)] led to rapid hydrolysis of the imines and Ni complexes containing half-hydrolyzed 1a (Bzen; [trans-[Ni(Bzen)2Br2]) and 1b (Bzpn; [Ni(Bzpn)Br2] could be isolated and identified via single crystal X-ray analysis. Kinetic studies were made of the hydrolyses of 1a, 1b in THF and 2 in acetone, in the presence of Cu(II), and of 1a in acetonitrile, in the presence of Ni(II). Activation parameters were determined for the latter reaction and for the copper-catalyzed hydrolysis of 2; the relatively large negative activation entropies clearly indicate rate-determining steps of an associative nature.  相似文献

New copper(II) clofibriates (clof, {2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropionic or 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)isobutyric acid}) of composition Cu(clof)2L2 (where L=2-pyridylmethanol (2-pymeth) (1), N-methylnicotinamide (Menia) (4), N,N-diethylnicotinamide (Et2nia) (5), isonicotinamide (isonia) (7) or methyl-3-pyridylcarbamate (mpc) (8)), [Cu(clof)2(4-pymeth)2(H2O)] · 2H2O (4-pymeth=4-pyridylmethanol) (2 · 2H2O) and Cu(clof)2L (where L=4-pymeth (3) or Et2nia (6)) have been prepared and spectroscopically characterized. All the Cu(clof)2L2 compounds seem to possess distorted octahedral copper(II) stereochemistry with differing tetragonal distortions. An X-ray analysis of 1 was carried out and it featured a tetragonal-bipyramidal geometry around the copper(II) atom. X-ray analysis of 2 · 2H2O featured a square-pyramidal geometry around copper(II) atom. Both the Cu(clof)2L compounds seem to consist of a binuclear unit of tetracarboxylate type bridging. An X-ray analysis of 6 revealed typical binuclear paddle-wheel type structure, consisting of two copper(II) atoms in square-pyramidal geometry bridged by four carboxylate anions in the xy-plane. All complexes under study were characterized by EPR and electronic spectroscopy. The antimicrobial effects have been tested on various strains of bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi.  相似文献

A novel series of copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(tren)(mpda)](ClO4)2 · 1/2H2O (1), [Cu2(tren)2(mpda)](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (2), and [Cu2(tren)2(ppda)](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (3) containing the tetradentate tris(2-aminoethyl)amine (tren) terminal ligand and the potentially bridging 1,n-phenylenediamine [n = 3 (mpda) and 4 (ppda)] ligand have been prepared and spectroscopically characterized. X-ray diffraction on single crystals of 1 and 3 show the presence of mono- (1) and dinuclear (3) copper(II) units where the mpda (1) and ppda (3) ligands adopt terminal monodentate (1) and bridging bis(monodentate) (3) coordination modes toward [Cu(tren)]2+ cations with an overall non-planar, orthogonal disposition of the phenylene group and the N-Cu-N threefold axis of the trigonal bipyramid of each copper(II) ion [values of the Cu-N-C-C torsion angle (?) in the range of 50.8(3)-79.2(2) (1) and 80.9(2)-86.5(2)° (3)]. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements on the dinuclear complexes 2 and 3 show the occurrence of moderate ferromagnetic (J = +8.3 cm−1, 2) and strong antiferromagnetic (J = −51.4 cm−1, 3) couplings between the two copper(II) ions across the meta- and para-phenylenediamine bridges, leading to S = 1 (2) and S = 0 (3) ground spin states [H = −JS1 · S2 with S1 = S2 = SCu = 1/2]. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations on the triplet (2) and broken-symmetry (BS) singlet (3) ground spin states, support the occurrence of a spin polarization mechanism for the propagation of the exchange interaction through the predominantly π-type orbital pathway of the 1,n-phenylenediamine bridge. Finally, a new magneto-structural correlation between the magnitude of the magnetic coupling (J) and the Cu-N-C-C torsion angle (?) has been found which reveals the role of σ- versus π-type orbital pathways in the modulation of the magnetic coupling for m- and p-phenylenediamine-bridged dicopper(II) complexes.  相似文献

Two new organic-inorganic hybrid compounds [Zn(phen)(SO4)(H2O)2]n (1) and [Cu(phen)(H2O)2] · SO4 (2) have been prepared by conventional aqueous solution synthesis and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and fluorescent spectroscopy. In compound 1, the sulfate group adopts bidentate mode to coordinate with two Zn(II) ions to form one-dimensional polymer. The one-dimensional polymers are further linked together via the intermolecular hydrogen-bonding and π-π stacking interactions to form a 3D supramolecular framework. Compound 2 is build up of discrete [Cu(phen)(H2O]2+ cations and SO42− anions to form a three-dimensional framework via hydrogen-bonding and π-π stacking interactions. Furthermore, the luminescent properties of both 1 and 2 were studied. The complexes 1 and 2 excited at 280 nm wavelength produced characteristic luminescence features, arising maybe due to the π-π transitions.  相似文献

Herein, we describe the synthesis of N,N′,S donor ligands 2-(1-(3,5-diisopropyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-3-(methythio)propyl)-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine (L1) and 2-(1-(3,5-diisopropyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-2-(methythio)ethyl)-4-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridine (L2). Cu(I) complexes were prepared by reacting L1 or L2 with [Cu(CH3CN)4]BF4 or CuCl. The coordination behavior of the thioether arm of the ligands was found to determine the nuclearity of the resulting complexes, in which [Cu(L1)PPh3]BF4 (1) is polynuclear, [Cu(L2)PPh3]BF4 (2) is mononuclear, while [Cu(L1)]2(BF4)2 (3), [Cu(L2)CH3CN]2(BF4)2 (4), and [Cu(L1)Cl]2 (5) are dinuclear. In the dimeric complex [Cu(L2)Cl]2 (6), the sulfur atoms are not metal-bound. Rather, the two bridging chloride ions link the two copper centers. Compounds 4-6 are luminescent in the solid state, and exhibit emission bands centered at 490 nm (4), 544 nm (5), and 562 nm (6), respectively. Their excitation spectra display bands at 280 nm and 380 nm. According to DFT calculations, the HOMO is distributed partially over the metal centers and partially over the chloride anions (5 and 6) or the sulfur atoms (4) of the ligands, while the LUMO is a π∗ antibonding pyridine orbital. This suggests that the emission properties are derived from metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT), halide-to-ligand charge-transfer (XLCT), and ligand-to-ligand charge-transfer (LLCT) excited states.  相似文献

New complexes of formulae [Cu(HL2)(H2O)(NO3)](NO3) (1), [{Cu(L1)(tfa)}2] (2), [{Cu(L1)}2(pz)](ClO4)2 (3) and {[{Cu(L1)}2(dca)](ClO4)}n (4), where HL1 = pyridine-2-carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone, HL2 = pyridine-2-carbaldehyde 4N-methylthiosemicarbazone, Htfa = trifluoroacetic acid (CF3COOH), pz = pyrazine (C4H4N2) and dca = dicyanamide [N(CN)2], have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of these compounds are built up of monomers (1), dinuclear entities with the metal centers bridged through the non-thiosemicarbazone coligand (2 and 3) and 1D chains of dimers (4). In all the cases, square-pyramidal copper(II) ions are present, except for the square-planar ones in 3. Magnetic measurements show antiferromagnetic couplings in 2, 3 and 4. The susceptibility data were fitted by the Bleaney-Bowers’ equation for copper(II) dimers derived from H = -2JS1S2 being the obtained J/k values −4.8, −4.3 and −5.1 K for compounds 2-4, respectively. The magnetic susceptibility of the already known [{Cu(HL1)(tfa)}2](tfa)2 compound has been also measured for the first time. The J/k value is -0.3 K, lower than that in 2. The nuclease activity of 3 and 4 has been analyzed.  相似文献
