采用“定期起苗”法,从6 月10 日—8 月30 日止,分别统计从越冬块茎上萌发出的再生苗及其后代蔓生枝系再生苗的数量,从而得出扁秆藨草再生苗各旬株数增长的指数方程;又用“定株观察”法,对12 株越冬块茎上的再生苗及其全部后代植株开花、结实数量进行统计,探讨扁秆藨草有性繁殖的能力,然后进行综合计算,求得扁秆藨草种群的内禀增长率r=7.24,阐明了扁秆藨草很高的内禀增长率是其种群过度生长的根本原因;通过对其过度生长关键时刻的判断,选择灭草的关键期,有效地灭杀此种恶性杂草  相似文献

Field experiments were conducted, using "Fixed Interval technique for sampling seedlings", to determine the rules of asexual reproduction of Scirpus planiculrnis population. Counts were recorded for the number of re-emerged plants on the overwintering stem tubers and of the re-emerged seedlings from the trailing branch system, from June 10 to August 30 at a 10-day interval. In this way, the exponential equation was established for describing the increase of the re-emerged plants of Scirpus planiculmis per 10-day period. The technique of "observation on specific individual plants" was also used to determine the rule of sexual reproduction of the plant, i. e. to investigate the ability of sexual reproduction by counting the number of seed-sets from the re-emerged seedlings on 12 overwintering stem tubers and all their progenies (2640 re-emerged plants). Then, pooled cal ulation was made to obtain the intrinsic growth rate of the Scirpus planiculmis population as r= 7.24. Thus, it is indicated that the ultimate reason for the over-grown of the species population is the high intrinsic growth rate. On the other hand, since the critical period of both the weed and rice was already estimated, it could be used (1) to determine the critical time for weeding and (2) to control the weed effectively, and (3) to provide sound basis for high grain yield of rice.  相似文献

Sexual males of Volvox carteri Stein f. nagariensis Iyengar secrete a hormone which induces sexual rather than asexual development in the next generation. Male recombinants from the original strains isolated from Japan showed an increase in potency of up to 100 times that of the original male clone, with later descendants showing potencies ranging from 100 times to 1/1000 the potency of this male. Potency is defined as the extent to which the hormone produced in 1 ml of medium by one parental spheroid containing 16 male spheroids can be diluted and retain its capacity to induce sexual differentiation. This is recorded as the percent of female response in the tube of limiting dilution, asexual females of the normal female strain being used as assay inoculum in a 1 in 10 dilution series of samples of male fluid containing the sexual hormone. Investigation of the genetic basis for potency in this species included selection of high and low potency male clones and crossing with sib females or backcrossing with original female. Results of the various crosses are interpreted as multigenic system not linked with sex, with more than one genotypic class per dilution level and with more than one genotypic class per apparent phenotypic class. Possible genic interactions are described in their relevance to the biosynthesis of a glycoprotein molecule, the sexual hormone having been characterized as a glycoprotein by Starr and Jaenicke (18).  相似文献

对广竹的生物学特性及栽培技术研究结果表明:广竹的出笋历期较短且非常集中,出笋高峰期集中在4月上旬,出笋数量占全期出笋总数的62.7%;幼竹高生长及枝条生长曲线均呈"S"形,遵循慢—快—慢的节律;此竹种属于混生竹,可移竹繁殖和埋鞭繁殖,前一方法的繁殖效果较好,成活率可达60%,而埋鞭繁殖效果相对较差,成活率只有38%,最佳繁殖时间宜在12月下旬至次年2月进行;根据其各生长阶段的生长规律、无性繁殖栽培技术以及生产实践,提出了主要栽培技术措施。  相似文献

A great variety of asexual reproductive modes are known among aquatic oligochaetes. The main types of these modes are shortly described. Based upon observations on natural populations, the possible genetical and ecological implications of asexual reproduction are discussed. The following points are emphasized: (1) The often expressed expectations of a strong predominance of one particularly adaptive genotype is not born out. (2) In most cases, a number of genetically distinct clones are present in each population, and they show a strong differential distribution in heterogeneous environments, indicating an effective exploitation of the available resources. (3) Most cases of asexual propagation are reproductive strategies of their own and not escape mechanisms. (4) The mechanisms underlying asexual propagation are complex and involve many aspects of the life history. The great variety of types among aquatic oligochaetes offer particularly useful models for the study of these problems.  相似文献

以黄土高原丘陵区文冠果天然种群为研究对象,通过样地调查,分析了不同生境文冠果种群的有性和无性繁殖方式及其在种群更新中的地位.结果表明:不同坡向文冠果种群均能进行有性繁殖和无性繁殖,在阳坡、半阴坡生境,文冠果以有性繁殖为主,实生苗数量和占据空间的能力均大于萌生苗,有性繁殖在这2个生境中对种群的更新贡献较大;在半阳坡生境,文冠果以无性繁殖为主,萌生苗数量和占据空间的能力均大于实生苗,无性繁殖对种群更新的贡献较大.在相同生境条件下,文冠果幼苗生长状况均表现为萌生苗>实生苗.同一起源的文冠果幼苗生长状况均表现为阳坡>半阳坡>半阴坡.2种繁殖的瓶颈期在实生苗的种子-幼苗阶段和萌生苗的幼树-成株阶段.黄土丘陵区文冠果种群在新生境定居下来的过程中,首先以实生苗入侵,当水分、光照、养分条件较好时,文冠果又以无性繁殖方式迅速占领空间,繁衍后代.  相似文献

This article presents a new empirical Bayes estimator (EBE) and a shrinkage estimator for determining the relative potency from several multivariate bioassays by incorporating prior information on the model parameters based on Jeffreys' rules. The EBE can account for any extra variability among the bioassays, and if this extra variability is 0, then the EBE reduces to the maximum likelihood estimator for combinations of multivariate bioassays. The shrinkage estimator turns out to be a compromise of the prior information and the estimator from each multivariate bioassay, with the weights depending on the prior variance.  相似文献

Larvicidal potency of three primary powders based on Bacillus sphaericus strains 1593 and 1881 was studied on mosquito larvae. Two acetone powders, P 1593 and P 1881, were very toxic for Anopheles stephensi larvae. The potency of a third lyophilized powder RB 80 made from 1593 strain compared even better when tested against Anopheles stephensi and Culex pipiens pipiens larvae. LC50's after 48 hr were 0.15 and 0.003 mg/ml, respectively. After storage of RB 80 aqueous suspensions over 2 years or after heat exposure of RB 80 powder, larvicidal potency was still high, indicating an excellent stability. The use of RB 80, because of all its qualities, is suggested as a first experimental standard for titration of B. sphaericus preparations.  相似文献

Effects of Commercial Harvesting on Population Characteristics and Rhizome Yield of Anemone altaica. Commercial harvesting constitutes a direct threat to numerous non–timber forest products (NTFPs), but its ecological effects have not been well documented. Anemone altaica Fisch. ex C. A. Mey, a spring ephemeral plant found in temperate forests of Eurasia, is a traditional Chinese herb. Owing to medicinal value, its rhizomes have been harvested for commercial purposes in northwestern China for many years. This paper addresses the ecological effects of commercial harvesting on A. altaica populations under different harvest intensities. The results show that size–selective harvesting of rhizomes can increase population densities by asexual propagation. Currently, two– to three–year–old individuals derived from asexual propagation are the main targets of commercial harvesting. The increased demand in recent years has resulted in earlier and more intensive harvesting activities largely impacting the natural recovery of the harvested populations. For sustainable use of this traditional medicinal species, we recommend that a periodic harvest strategy of three to four years be adopted.  相似文献

Facing the discontinuation of the Auszyme kit, an alternative is needed for determining the in vitro potency of Hepatitis B surface antigen in vaccines. An inhibition ELISA has already proven to be reliable, but not in vaccine combinations. We validated this method by the evaluation of monovalent and combined vaccines from two different manufacturers. All validation parameters fulfilled the defined acceptance criteria. There was some interference with Hepatitis B potency, mainly produced by the whole cell Pertussis component, but it was not significant. A significant correlation between the Auszyme kit and the in vivo method was observed. We demonstrated that our ELISA is suitable for evaluating HB antigen in vaccines and could be considered as a potential alternative to the Auszyme kit.  相似文献

Abstract

Reproductive ecological traits such as success of fertilization, partitioning of sexes, the relative success of sexual versus asexual reproduction and dispersal distances are likely to considerably influence genetic structure within and among plant populations. In the liverwort Mannia fragrans both sexual and asexual reproduction can be frequently observed: sporophytes are produced abundantly every year and asexual propagation by fragmentation of thalli is also common. The aim of this study was to use ecological and molecular methods (ISSR markers) to separate the role of sexual and asexual components in shaping the partitioning of genetic variability within and among populations. In addition to genetic analyses conducted seasonally, sex expression and fertilization rates, sex ratios, regeneration from vegetative fragments and outcrossing was estimated in 3 populations of the species. Sex expression rates were high and, in spite of strongly female biased sex ratios, high fertilization rates were detected. However, capacity for regeneration from fragments was also high. Despite frequent spore production genetic diversity was low within populations. This is probably the result of the predominance of asexual reproduction s. 1. including crossing between genetically identical plants. Although recombination and mutation occasionally generates new haplotypes, these have little chance to spread because of the large spores mainly falling into their own patch, where chances for germination are low. Due to small size and isolation of the populations, genetic drift is likely to eliminate these haplotypes. Remote populations differed significantly, each being dominated by a few clones, reflecting negligible gene flow among them. Differences among individual populations can partly be related to differences in their reproductive behaviour and degree of isolation.  相似文献

An increasing number of recent studies indicate that multiple interacting factors can affect the invasion of plants. However, few studies have focused on asexual propagation and the interaction of propagation with environmental factors that regulate the invasive potential of introduced exotic species in aquatic habitats. This study was designed to investigate the differences in asexual propagation between introduced exotic and non-invasive native aquatic macrophytes in nutrient-poor and nutrient-rich sediments and to test the hypothesis that differences in asexual propagation (stem fragment production) and propagule establishment between introduced exotic and non-invasive native macrophytes are driven by sediment nutrient levels. Three exotic aquatic macrophytes (Elodea nuttallii, Myriophyllum aquaticum, and M. propinquum) recently introduced to China and their non-invasive native counterparts (Hydrilla verticillata, Moguraense, and M. ussuriense) were used for comparison in nutrient-poor (TN 0.59 and TP 0.03 mg g−1) and nutrient-rich (TN 2.35 and TP 0.10 mg g−1) sediments. After 8 weeks of growth, the exotic species tended to produce more total biomass, branch biomass and apical shoots and have higher relative growth rate (RGR) than their native counterparts in nutrient-rich sediment. Rooting efficiency and root growth of exotic fragments were higher than that of native counterparts in nutrient-rich sediment, although the survival rates of fragments did not differ between native and exotic species. In addition, superior traits (rooting efficiency and root growth) of exotic species were also observed in nutrient-poor sediment, but to a lesser degree than in nutrient-rich sediment. These results suggest that asexual propagation of these three introduced exotic macrophytes is more effective in nutrient-rich sediment than in nutrient-poor sediment in China.  相似文献

A greenhouse experiment was conducted to study the effects of mycorrhizal inoculation on growth and nutrient uptake of vegetatively propagated cocoa plants from the Sabah hybrid (NA 33 × PA 7) raised on unsterilized Munchong soils. Inoculation with mixed species of Scutellospora and Glomus, resulted in higher dry matter yield and stem diameter of mycorrhizal plants obtained through budding, air layering or marcotting (a form of asexual plant propagation using vegetative parts and the selection of a healthy branch and scraping off the bark at the lower end of the branch, forcing it to root by covering it with a ball of soil) and stem cutting. Budded and marcotted mycorrhizal plants gave a significant increase in P content of shoots. In contrast, only budded mycorrhizal plants (on both young and old rootstocks) gave a significantly higher Ca concentration in tops, compared to uninoculated plants.  相似文献

In the present study, the low molecular-weight fraction of the culture supernatant of anti-Plasmodium falciparum antibody-producing hybridoma cells (HybSL) was used in synchronous culture with P. falciparum FVO strain. When synchronous cultures were treated with HybSL solution on day 5, gametocytogenesis was also induced. Gametocytes were consistently found from the third day after treatment and reached a peak on the fourth day. An increase in pH and hemoglobin concentrations and decrease in lactate concentrations were observed on the first day after treatment. These phenomena suggested that HybSL solution partially inhibited glycolysis of erythrocytes parasitized with schizonts and resulted in hemolysis of infected erythrocytes. On the other hand, the production of gametocytes did not increase in cultures treated with HybSL solution on day 4 of synchronous cultures in which ring forms were plentiful. Most ring forms were not killed by HybSL solution and quickly developed to trophozoites and schizonts rather than gametocytes. Consequently, it is assumed that ring forms on day 4 of synchronous cultures have finished differentiation into the asexual stage. The conversion of asexual parasites to gametocytes may be triggered only when late-stage trophozoites or early-stage schizonts are treated with HybSL solution.  相似文献

Many parthenogenetic species are geographically more widely distributed than their sexual relatives. Their success has been partly attributed to the existence of general purpose genotypes (GPGs). Darwinula stevensoni is an ostracod species, which has persisted for >25 million years without sex, and is both ubiquitous and cosmopolitan. Here, we test the hypothesis that this ancient asexual species may possess a highly generalised (or general purpose) genotype. The ecological tolerance of D. stevensoni was compared with asexual populations of Heterocypris incongruens, a common cypridinid species with mixed reproduction, as well as with that of another ancient asexual darwinulid species with a limited geographic and ecological distribution, Vestalenula molopoensis. The unusually wide tolerance range for both salinity (0-30 g/l) and temperature (10°C, 20°C and 30°C) of the freshwater species D. stevensoni, supports the hypothesis that this ancient asexual has indeed developed a GPG. This coincides with its wide geographic and ecological distribution and might explain its persistence as an obligate asexual in its long-term evolution. The more restricted salinity tolerance of V. molopoensis (maximum at 12 g/l) shows that not all species of the ancient asexual family Darwinulidae have a GPG. D. stevensoni has a much broader tolerance than the asexuals of H. incongruens. We argue why a GPG is most likely to develop in long-term asexuals.  相似文献

为提高肝素钠粗品效价,改善产品色泽,采用二次盐解、双氧水氧化和脱色等工艺对肝素钠粗品进行精制,并探讨工艺条件对产品效价、收率的影响。结果得到最佳精制工艺条件:盐解质量浓度为2%,盐解pH为8.0,醇沉体积浓度45%,氧化剂(双氧水)体积分数为3%。该精制工艺能够有效地提高效价(平均比粗产品提高1.5倍),收率较高,并具有操作简便、省时等特点。  相似文献

在已明确我国存在甲霜灵抗性菌株的基础上,通过单游动孢子分离技术获得马铃薯晚疫病菌DZO1和HZO1无性后代菌系。研究了无性单游动孢子后代菌系的生物学特性及甲霜灵抗性,主要结果如下:对无性后代菌系的菌落形态、生长量和产孢能力进行测定,发现被测的DZO1和HZO1无性后代菌系大部分菌株的生物学性状与亲本菌株相比没有发生明显的变异,个别菌株的生物学性状与亲本菌株有显著差异,说明晚疫病菌的无性繁殖未引起较大的变异;对后代菌系的甲霜灵抗性水平进行测定,结果表明DZO1和HZO1无性后代菌系的甲霜灵抗性水平与其对应的亲本菌株基本相同。  相似文献

The contracting potency of Substance P and of its C-terminal fragments was studied using four isolated preparations of smooth muscle. The Substance P receptors in the four muscles studied can be differentiated on the basis of their interactions with Substance P and its C-terminal fragments. On the guinea pig ileum, the potency of Substance P is equal to that of the C-terminal octa- and heptapeptide segments and in the rat ileum the potency of Substance P is equal to that of the C-terminal octapeptide and even higher than that of the heptapeptide. In contrast, on the cow pupillary sphincter and guinea pig urinary bladder, Substance P is markedly less potent that the C-terminal octa-, hepta- and hexapeptides. These results suggest the existence of different classes of Substance P receptors and indicate that the N-terminal sequence may be important in regulating Substance P activity.  相似文献

对我国特有单属种孑遗植物四合木 (Tetraena mongolica Maxim) 的地理分布、生境条件、种群数量动态、空间分布格局、种间关系、种群的生命表、生殖力表、有性生殖、无性繁殖和遗传变异等种群生态学特征及其濒危肇因进行了系统分析.研究结果表明:四合木种群为高群集分布,种群曲线属Leak凸型.年龄结构不合理,其存活曲线接近于Deevey ê型,且将演化为小种群,群落内的生境异质性显著,种群处于不稳定阶段.四合木从开花期到结果期,生殖分配 (RA) 呈下降的趋势,生殖过程中胚胎发生败育、种子向幼苗难以转化使其有性生殖受阻,生活史趋于断裂,是最终导致其濒危的重要内因.分布区城市化、工业化以及过度放牧等原因造成其种群孤立和生境破碎化是物种导致濒危的外因,四合木生态适应性和生境适宜性下降造成遗传多样性逐步丧失.同时提出对我国特有植物四合木进行异地保护的可能性与必然性.  相似文献
