The protective activity of pyoimmunogen II, lot 9, was studied on P. aeruginosa experimental sepsis used as a model. In experiments on rats the preparation was shown to be nontoxic according to the results of the determination of acute and chronic toxicity. The preparation under test produced a high protective effect in experiments on animals infected with various P. aeruginosa strains, irrespective of their virulence and immunotype. Anti-P. aeruginosa plasma, obtained by plasmapheresis from donors immunized with pyoimmunogen II, showed a curative effect when injected into experimental animals in a dose of 0.02 ml/g body weight at early stages of the infection.  相似文献

The most noticeable hypothesis regarding the pathogenesis of cisplatin toxicity, seen mainly in kidney and intestine, is oxidative stress, an imbalance between free-radical generating cisplatin and radical scavenging systems. This paper describes the role of the antioxidant system in cisplatin-induced toxicity and the protective effect by a processed grain food (Antioxidant Biofactor: AOB), which has been shown to exhibit strong antioxidant activity. Male Fischer 344 rats were used. They were pre-fed either a basal diet (control, 15 g/day) or the diet supplemented with AOB to provide 6.5% or 20% of total diet throughout the experiment. Cisplatin (5 mg/kg, i.v.) was administered at the start of the experiment, and the animals were sacrificed 5 days later. Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and plasma creatinine, NO2(-) and NO3(-) (NOx) were determined from the plasma. The levels of 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (a lipid peroxidation product), 8-hydroxy-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG, an oxidatively modified DNA adduct) and nitrotyrosine were histologically analyzed. The cisplatin administration resulted in a loss of body weight and elevations of BUN, serum creatinine and NOx levels, whereas AOB supplement reversed these effects. The severe morphological damages induced in the kidney and intestine by the cisplatin administration were markedly improved in the AOB group. The levels of lipid peroxidation, 8-OHdG, and nitrotyrosine all paralleled the morphological damage. The AOB effect was dose dependent. In conclusion, the present study suggests that certain food additives like AOB may be of benefit against the side effects of cisplatin.  相似文献

Venoms are complex mixtures of proteins, peptides and other compounds whose biochemical and biological variability has been clearly demonstrated. These molecules have been used as antigens for immunization of anti-venom-producing animals (horses or sheep). Ammodytoxins (Atx) are potently neurotoxic compounds, and the most toxic compounds isolated so far from the Vipera ammodytes ammodytes (Vaa) venom. Recently we have shown that the level of antibodies specific to Vaa venom's most toxic component, ammodytoxin A (AtxA), (anti-AtxA IgG) in Vaa venom immunized rabbit sera highly correlated to the venom toxicity–neutralization potential of these sera. Here we investigated whether Atx content of Vaa venom could influence the outcome of immunization procedure. The novel ELISA was developed for precise determination of Atx content and Atx was quantified in venom samples used for immunization of rabbits. We clearly showed that animals immunized with the venom containing lower amount of Atx produced sera with significantly lower venom toxicity–neutralizing power and, vice versa, animals immunized with venoms containing higher amount of Atx produced sera with higher venom toxicity–neutralizing ability. Thus, the content of Atx in Vaa venom is a relevant parameter of its suitability in the production of highly protective Vaa anti-venom.  相似文献

The role of cellular glutathione in the prevention of toxicity due to the anti-cancer drug cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum) was explored in mice treated with buthionine sulfoximine (BSO), a selective inhibitor of gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase (and therefore of glutathione synthesis), and with glutathione and glutathione monoisopropyl ester. Pretreatment of mice with BSO enhanced the lethal toxicity of cisplatin by about twofold. Administration of glutathione ester (dose, 2.5-7.5 mmol/kg) protected against lethal cisplatin toxicity; glutathione was also effective, but much less so. Glutathione ester, in contrast to glutathione, is effectively transported into cells and split to glutathione intracellularly. The previous findings that administered glutathione does not protect against lethal toxicity due to cadmium ions and mercuric ions, whereas glutathione ester does, suggest that intracellular glutathione is required for protection against these heavy metal ions. That administration of glutathione has a protective effect on cisplatin toxicity suggests that the toxic effects of cisplatin may be exerted both intracellularly and extracellularly, and that extracellular glutathione (or its degradation products) may form a complex with cisplatin extracellularly. The finding that glutathione ester is more effective than glutathione in protecting against the toxicity of cisplatin suggests that use of glutathione ester may be therapeutically advantageous.  相似文献

Cisplatin is a widely used chemotherapeutic drug; however, it induces damage on kidney and liver at clinically effective higher doses. Morin hydrate possesses antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and anticancer properties. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effects of morin hydrate (50 and 100 mg/kg, orally) against the renohepatic toxicity induced by a high dose of cisplatin (20 mg/kg, intraperitoneally). Renal and hepatic function, oxidative/nitrosative stress, and inflammatory markers along with histopathology were evaluated. Morin hydrate ameliorated cisplatin‐induced renohepatic toxicity significantly at 100 mg/kg as evidenced from the significant reversal of cisplatin‐induced body weight loss, mortality, functional and structural alterations of kidney, and liver. The protective role offered by morin hydrate against cisplatin‐induced renohepatic toxicity is by virtue of its free radical scavenging property, thereby abating the depletion of cellular antioxidant defense components and through modulation of inflammatory cytokines. We speculate morin hydrate as a protective candidate against renohepatic toxicity of cisplatin.  相似文献

This study aimed to assess the protective effect of cinnamic acid (CA) and cinnamaldehyde (CD) against cisplatin‐induced nephrotoxicity. A single dose of cisplatin (5 mg/kg), injected intraperitoneally to male rats, caused significant increases in serum urea, creatinine levels, and lipid peroxides measured as the malondialdehyde content of kidney, with significant decreases in serum albumin, reduced glutathione, and the activity of antioxidant enzymes (catalase, superoxide dismutase, and glutathione peroxidase) of kidney as compared with the control group. On the other hand, administration of CA (50 mg/kg, p.o.) or CD (40 mg/kg, p.o.) for 7 days before cisplatin ameliorated the cisplatin‐induced nephrotoxicity as indicated by the restoration of kidney function and oxidative stress parameters. Furthermore, they reduced the histopathological changes induced by cisplatin. In conclusion, CA and CD showed protective effects against cisplatin‐induced nephrotoxicity where CD was more effective than CA; affects that might be attributed to their antioxidant activities.  相似文献

Cisplatin is one of the most active cytotoxic agents in the treatment of cancer. High doses of cisplatin have also been known to produce hepatotoxicity. Several studies suggest that supplementation with an antioxidant can influence cisplatin-induced hepatotoxicity. The present study was designed to determine the effects of cisplatin on the liver oxidant/antioxidant system, and the possible protective effects of caffeic acid phenethyl ester (CAPE) on liver toxicity induced by cisplatin. Twenty-four adult female Wistar albino rats were divided into four groups of six rats each: control, cisplatin, CAPE, and cisplatin+CAPE. Cisplatin and CAPE were injected intraperitoneally. Liver tissue was removed to study the activities of catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), myeloperoxidase (MPO), xanthine oxidase (XO), adenosine deaminase (ADA), and the levels of malondialdehyde and nitric oxide (NO). The activities of SOD and GSH-Px increased in the cisplatin+CAPE and CAPE groups compared with the cisplatin group. CAT activity was higher in the cisplatin +CAPE group than the other three groups. XO activity was lower in the cisplatin group than the control group. MPO activity was also increased in the cisplatin group compared to the control and CAPE groups. It can be concluded that CAPE may prevent cisplatin-induced oxidative changes in liver by strengthening the antioxidant defence system by reducing reactive oxygen species and increasing antioxidant enzyme activities.  相似文献

Oxidative stress and inflammation are implicated in the pathogenesis of cisplatin-induced toxicity. Pycnogenol® is known for its strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. In this study, the possible protective effects of pycnogenol on kidney, bone marrow, and red blood cells in rats treated with cisplatin were investigated. The rats were divided into four groups. Group 1 was the control and groups 2, 3, and 4 were orally treated with pycnogenol (200 mg/kg bw, o.p) for 5 days, treated with cisplatin (7 mg/kg bw, i.p.) on the fifth day and treated with cisplatin plus pycnogenol, respectively. Antioxidative parameters in kidney and red blood cells were measured. Chromosome anomalies in bone marrow and renal histopathology were also investigated. Activities of pro-oxidant enzymes (myeloperoxidase and xanthine oxidase), malondialdehyde, and nitric oxide levels significantly increased but antioxidant enzymes activities decreased in the kidneys and red blood cells after cisplatin treatment. Pycnogenol treatment prior to the administration of cisplatin significantly decreased cisplatin-induced injury, as evidenced by its normalizing these parameters. Chromosomal aberrations decreased and mitotic index frequencies increased in bone marrow treated with cisplatin plus pycnogenol. These findings suggest that pycnogenol may be a useful protective agent against the toxicity associated with cisplatin therapy.  相似文献

A number of platinum(II) complexes with ammine or 1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane as carrier ligands and 1-(methoxy-substituted benzyl) azetidine-3,3-dicarboxylate as leaving groups were synthesized and spectrally characterized. Biological evaluation in vitro showed that some of compounds showed positive antitumor activity. In particular, complex 3a, (1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane)[1-(3-methoxylbenzyl) azetidine-3,3-dicarboxylato)-O,O'] platinum(II), possessed a potent antitumor effect comparable to cisplatin and/or oxaliplatin, and very low toxicity in vivo. Preliminary antitumor mechanism of 3a has been investigated by cell apoptosis assays compared with cisplatin and oxaliplatin.  相似文献

Efficacy of chemotherapy may be maximized and its toxicity can be minimized if drugs would be administered at specified daily times. The present study was aimed to examine if the protection of amifostine against cisplatin toxicity is time dependent. Amifostine is an organic thiophosphate that protects selectively normal tissues, but not tumors, against the cytotoxicity of DNA binding chemotherapeutic agents such as cisplatin. ICR male mice which were entrained to Light:Dark (L:D) 14:10 were injected (intrapritoneal bolus) for 5 consecutive days with either: cisplatin, cisplatin plus amifostine (administered 30 minutes prior to cisplatin). Injections were given at either 08:00, 13:00, 20:00 or 01:00. Five days later, on day 10, each set of mice was sacrificed (at the same hour corresponds to the injection hour), blood count, blood creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were assayed. Cisplatin treated mice exhibited nephrotoxicity, as indicated by increased blood urea nitrogen values and by high blood urea nitrogen to creatinine ratios, as well as myelotoxicity that was indicated by low levels of hemoglobin and platelets. Co-administration of amifostine-cisplatin reversed both, the nephrotoxicity of cisplatin, and its myelosuppressive effects. For BUN, hemoglobin and platelets, maximal protections were observed at 08:00, (p <0.05, p <0.01 and p <0.01 respectively). For BUN/Cr ratio (p <0.05), maximal protections was observed at 13:00. These findings show that amifostine exhibits time dependent protection against cisplatin toxicity and thus it is recommended to use the protector when treatments are given during morning hours. The results also further validate the notion that chronochemotherapy is advantageous at least in reducing drug toxicity and thus should be integrated in the design of clinical protocols.  相似文献

The ability of cisplatin (cis‐diamminedichloroplatinum II) toxicity to induce acute kidney injury (AKI) has attracted people's attention and concern for a long time, but its molecular mechanisms are still widely unknown. We found that the expression of transforming growth factor‐β (TGF‐β)‐activated kinase 1 (TAK1) could be increased in kidneys of mice administrated with cisplatin. Autophagy is an evolutionarily conserved catabolic pathway and is involved in various acute and chronic injuries. Moreover, p38 MAPK (mitogen‐activated protein kinase) and ERK regulate autophagy in response to various stimuli. Therefore, our hypothesis is that cisplatin activates TAK1, which phosphorylates p38 and ERK, leading to excessive autophagy of tubular epithelial cells and thus exacerbating kidney damage. Here, BALB/c mice were intraperitoneally injected with a TAK1 inhibitor and were then administrated with sham or cisplatin at 20 mg/kg by intraperitoneal injection. Compared with mice in the vehicle cisplatin group, mice intraperitoneally injected with a TAK1 inhibitor were found to have lower serum creatinine and less tubular damage following cisplatin‐induced AKI. Furthermore, inhibition of TAK1 reduced p38 and Erk phosphorylation, decreased expression of LC3II and reversed the down‐regulation of P62 expression induced by cisplatin. The hypothesis was verified with tubular epithelial cells administrated with cisplatin in vitro. Finally, p38 inhibitor or ERK inhibitor abated autophagy activation and cell viability reduction in tubular epithelial cells treated with cisplatin plus TAK1 overexpression vector. Taken together, our results show that cisplatin activates TAK1, which phosphorylates p38 and ERK, leading to excessive autophagy of tubular epithelial cells that exacerbates kidney damage.  相似文献

Extensive research is being carried out to analyse the importance of plant products such as resveratrol and genistein, which are known to exert a variety of pharmacological effects. This study aims at evaluating the protective role of these compounds against the apoptosis induced in normal cells by cytotoxic anticancer agents such as cisplatin and mytomycin C during therapy. Despite the broad antineoplastic action of cisplatin and mitomycin C, their genotoxicity in normal cell might lead to the induction of secondary malignancies. Therefore, the problem of identifying plant compounds, which might exert protective action in normal cells, gains lot of significance. We have analyzed the chemoprotective effect of plant compounds on peripheral blood human lymphocytes when exposed to cisplatin and mitomycin C by pre-treating and post-treating them with resveratrol and genistein at 100 microM concentration Biochemical alterations occurring in many cells during apoptosis include loss of plasma membrane phospholipid asymmetry, DNA fragmentation, and activation of caspase-3, et cetera, and have been assessed. Fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometric techniques have clearly demonstrated that resveratrol and genistein are efficient in protecting lymphocytes undergoing DNA damage when exposed to cisplatin and mitomycin C and exerted their activity by reducing the caspase 3 expression. An interesting observation is that, these compounds offered their protective effect by reducing their apoptotic potential on membrane and nucleic acids against cytotoxic agents, cisplatin, and mitomycin C. These results suggest that resveratrol and genistein might be useful for risk assessments in advance of clinical trials and could be considered as a strong candidate in pharmacogenomics or nutriprotective arena.  相似文献

Cyclosporine A (CsA) is the first choice immunosuppressant universally used in allotransplantation. However, it has been demonstrated that this drug produces unwanted side effects in several organs and in particular in the kidney and in the heart. While the cardiac toxicity, due to alteration of myocardial prostanoid has been reported, no data are available about the effects of CsA on myocardial cytoarchitecture. We studied the CsA induced alterations of the myocardial structure and of the extracellular matrix components (ECM). To test the ECM enzymatic chances we studied a family of enzymes (matrix metalloproteinase-MMP), responsible for the degradation of extracellular matrix components. In particular we investigated MMPI, MMP2 and MMP9. The study was carried out on two groups of Wistar rats. The group I animals served as a control and were injected subcutaneously daily with castor oil for 21 days. Group II: animals were subcutaneously injected daily with CsA (dose: 15 mg/Kg in castor oil) for 21 days. The group I animals (control) had normal heart architecture and low levels of MMPI, MMP2 and MMP9. The group II animals showed degenerative changes with myocardial fibrosis, low levels of MMP1 and MMP9 but a clear increase in MMP2. We suggest that the myocardial fibrosis was a consequence of the cardiotoxic effect of CsA determining the alteration of the balance between synthesis and degradation of ECM. The increase in MMP2 suggests that this enzyme could play a protective role during myocardial damage and represent a compensatory mechanism for the excessive accumulation of collagen.  相似文献

Five oxaliplatin-typed platinum complexes containing trans-1R, 2R-diaminocyclohexane chelating platinum cores, characteristic of linear or branched alkoxycarboxylates as leaving groups, were biologically evaluated. These compounds showed higher antitumor activity, lower toxicity in vivo than cisplatin or oxaliplatin. And the results revealed that the antitumor activity and interaction with DNA of these compounds were highly related to the nature of leaving groups. Among these complexes, 5a, cis-(trans-1R, 2R-diaminocyclohexane) bis (2-tert-butoxyacetate) platinum(II), showed the highest antitumor activity and the lowest toxicity.  相似文献

We investigated the possible protective effects of L-carnitine on cisplatin induced prepubertal gonadotoxicity and on adult sperm. Prepubertal 30-day-old male rats were divided randomly into three groups: control (n = 12), cisplatin exposed (n = 16) and carnitine treated after cisplatin exposure (n = 16). Rats in the experimental groups were injected with a single dose of cisplatin. L-carnitine was injected 1 h before cisplatin administration and for the following 3 days for the cisplatin + carnitine group. The rats were sacrificed at 31 or 90 days old and their testes were harvested for morphometric and histopathological analysis. Testes of 31-day-old prepubertal rats were examined for germ cell apoptosis using the TUNEL method and for proliferation using PCNA immunostaining. The morphology, motility, quantity and vitality of sperm in epididymal fluid samples of adult 90-day-old rats also were evaluated. L-carnitine treatment reduced testicular damage and the number of TUNEL positive cells significantly, while the number of PCNA positive cells in the cisplatin + carnitine group increased compared to the cisplatin group. During the adult period, epididymal sperm count and viability were improved in rats treated with L-carnitine before prepubertal cisplatin injection. L-carnitine may reduce late testicular and spermatic damage caused by cisplatin administration to prepubertal rats by inducing germ cell proliferation and preventing apoptosis.  相似文献

Cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (II) (cisplatin), an inorganic platinum salt used in cancer chemotherapy, is characterized by a renal toxicity recognized both in experimental animals and in patients treated with the compound. The purpose of the present study was to explore by both light and electron microscopy the morphological alterations induced in the rat kidney by cisplatin administration and, in particular, to analyse the tissue repair reaction following nephrotoxic injury. Experimental animals (four rats per group) were treated i.p. with 2, 4 or 8 mg/kg cisplatin administered in four consecutive daily injections. The rats were sacrificed 4 days after the last injection. In addition, the persistence of renal lesions and the duration of the repair reaction were determined in rats given 8 mg/kg cisplatin and killed 4, 7, 14 or 21 days after the last injection. The cell proliferation associated with tissue repair was estimated both quantitatively (rate of DNA synthesis) and qualitatively (histoautoradiography and electron microscopy examination) 1 h after in vivo exposure to [3H] thymidine. Renal tissue alterations and the repair reaction were minimal after the administration of 2 or 4 mg/kg cisplatin. In contrast, 8 mg/kg cisplatin caused a spectrum of morphological abnormalities affecting proximal, distal and collecting tubules, and ranging from sublethal cell alterations to tubular necrosis and cystic dilatation. The latter degenerative change primarily involved the straight portion of proximal tubules and seemed to develop over the weeks following cisplatin administration. Concomitantly with the tissue lesions, a burst of cell proliferation, associated with stimulation of DNA synthesis, was apparent in the renal cortex and outer medulla. Whereas a very high incidence of S-phase cells was encountered in seemingly undifferentiated tubules, they also appeared in differentiated proximal, distal and collecting tubules, but were infrequent in cystic tubules. Proliferation of fibroblasts was also stimulated in the renal interstitium. The proliferative response persisted for the whole duration of the experiment, indicating incomplete tissue repair. The long-lasting tubular injury and the slowness of repair are consistent with the chronic renal dysfunction (polyuria and hypomagnesemia) that cisplatin is known to induce in both man and experimental animals.  相似文献

Inteins are naturally occurring protein elements that autocatalytically excise themselves from a nonfunctional precursor and ligate the flanking protein segments with a peptide bond, resulting in a functional protein. Inteins interrupt three proteins essential for the viability of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Preventing intein splicing, and thus, the formation of functional post-processed proteins suggests that intein inhibition may be used as a novel antimycobacterial strategy (M. Belfort, US Patent, 5795,731). Due to the growing problem of multiple drug-resistant tuberculosis infections, such alternatives to traditional antibiotic regimens are especially appealing. It has been shown that cisplatin, an FDA approved anticancer drug, is a potent inhibitor of intein splicing, both in vitro and in vivo (Zhang et al., (2011) JBC, 286, 1277). Due to its high toxicity, however, cisplatin has limited clinical value as an antimycobacterial. Several cisplatin analogs were selected for further study using an in vitro fluorescent reporter splicing assay in an effort to identify compounds that retained potent inhibitory activity while minimizing the toxicity associated with cisplatin. An in vitro inhibitor, more potent than cisplatin, was identified. Structural and biochemical experiments are ongoing to gain insight into the mechanism of the action of these platinum compounds which will lay the groundwork for a potential de novo design of novel antimicrobials.  相似文献

Cisplatin is one of the highly consumed and effective antitumor agents whose clinical application is accompanied by nephrotoxicity adverse reaction. Also, other complications such as ototoxicity and hepatotoxicity are a matter of concern. Today, it is suggested that cisplatin‐associated toxicities are mainly induced by free radicals production, which will result in oxidative organ injury. The evidence is growing over the protective effects of antioxidants on cisplatin‐induced adverse reactions especially nephrotoxicity. The possible protective effects of vitamin E and its derivative in cisplatin‐induced nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity are reviewed here at the light of pertinent results from basic and clinical research. Administration of vitamin E alone or in combination with other antioxidant agents could cause amelioration in oxidative stress biomarkers such as decreasing the level of malondialdehyde, reducing serum urea and creatinine, and also enhancing the activities of renal antioxidant enzymes including renal catalase, glutathione‐S‐transferase, and superoxide dismutase. Although the data from most of the studies are in favors of protective effects of vitamin E against cisplatin‐induced toxicity, more clinical trials are needed to clarify the clinical importance of vitamin E administration as an antioxidant during cisplatin therapy in cancer condition.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the results of experiments using synchrotron radiation to trigger the Auger effect in living human cancer cells treated with a widely used chemotherapy drug: cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (II) (cisplatin). The experiments were carried out at the ID17 beamline of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, which produces a high-fluence monochromatic beam that is adjustable from 20 to 80 keV. Cisplatin was chosen as the carrier of platinum atoms in the cells because of its alkylating-like activity and the irradiation was done with monochromatic beams above and below the platinum K-shell edge (78.39 keV). Cell survival curves were comparable with those obtained for the same cells under conventional irradiation conditions. At a low dose of cisplatin (0.1 microM, 48 h), no difference was seen in survival when the cells were irradiated above and below the K-shell edge of platinum. Higher cisplatin concentrations were investigated to enhance the cellular platinum content. The results with 1 microM cisplatin for 12 h showed no difference when the cells were irradiated with beams above or below the platinum K-shell edge with the exception of the higher cell death resulting from drug toxicity. The intracellular content of platinum was significant, as measured macroscopically by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Its subcellular localization and particularly its presence in the cell nucleus were verified by microscopic synchrotron X-ray fluorescence. This was the first known attempt at K-shell edge photon activation of stable platinum in living cells with a platinum complex used for chemotherapy. Its evident toxicity in these cells leads us to put forth the hypothesis that cisplatin toxicity can mask the enhancement of cell death induced by the irradiation above the K-shell edge. However, K-shell edge photon activation of stable elements provides a powerful technique for the understanding of the biological effects of Auger processes. Further avenues of development are discussed.  相似文献

Cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum II, cisPt) is especially useful in the treatment of epithelial malignancies, however, the use of cisplatin is accompanied by several toxicities including haematological toxicity. Contrary to cisplatin, selenium-cisplatin conjugate ((NH(3))(2)Pt(SeO(3)); Se-Pt) has only a slight toxicity effect on blood platelet function. In the mechanism of platinum compounds action on platelets thiols are involved. The aim of the present studies was to examine in vitro how trans-resveratrol (trans-3,4',5-trihydroxystilbene) acts on the levels of platelet glutathione (GSH) and other thiol-containing compounds and how, as an antioxidant, protecs blood platelets against the oxidative stress caused by platinum compounds (cisPt and Se-Pt). To analyse the level of thiols in human blood platelets treated with platinum compounds and with resveratrol the classical technique HPLC has been used. Blood platelets isolated by differential centrifugation of human blood were incubated (30 min, 37 degrees C) with cisPt or Se-Pt at dose of 10 microg/ml that inhibits platelet function and with resveratrol (25 microg/ml). The obtained results indicate that platinum compounds caused in platelets a decrease of both, reduced glutathione (GSH) and free thiols of cysteine (CSH) and cysteinylglycine (CGSH). The pool of these compounds in unreduced form was increased. Platinum compounds caused the reduction of platelet protein thiols. Resveratrol (after 30 min action) at the concentration of 25 microg/ml partly reduced the platinum compounds induced decrease of platelet thiols, particularly thiols in acid-soluble fraction.  相似文献
