In this report, highly efficient and humidity‐resistant perovskite solar cells (PSCs) using two new small molecule hole transporting materials (HTM) made from a cost‐effective precursor anthanthrone (ANT) dye, namely, 4,10‐bis(1,2‐dihydroacenaphthylen‐5‐yl)‐6,12‐bis(octyloxy)‐6,12‐dihydronaphtho[7,8,1,2,3‐nopqr]tetraphene (ACE‐ANT‐ACE) and 4,4′‐(6,12‐bis(octyloxy)‐6,12‐dihydronaphtho[7,8,1,2,3‐nopqr]tetraphene‐4,10‐diyl)bis(N,N‐bis(4‐methoxyphenyl)aniline) (TPA‐ANT‐TPA) are presented. The newly developed HTMs are systematically compared with the conventional 2,2′,7,7′‐tetrakis(N,N′‐di‐p‐methoxyphenylamino)‐9,9′‐spirbiuorene (Spiro‐OMeTAD). ACE‐ANT‐ACE and TPA‐ANT‐TPA are used as a dopant‐free HTM in mesoscopic TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3/HTM solid‐state PSCs, and the performance as well as stability are compared with Spiro‐OMeTAD‐based PSCs. After extensive optimization of the metal oxide scaffold and device processing conditions, dopant‐free novel TPA‐ANT‐TPA HTM‐based PSC devices achieve a maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 17.5% with negligible hysteresis. An impressive current of 21 mA cm?2 is also confirmed from photocurrent density with a higher fill factor of 0.79. The obtained PCE of 17.5% utilizing TPA‐ANT‐TPA is higher performance than the devices prepared using doped Spiro‐OMeTAD (16.8%) as hole transport layer at 1 sun condition. It is found that doping of LiTFSI salt increases hygroscopic characteristics in Spiro‐OMeTAD; this leads to the fast degradation of solar cells. While, solar cells prepared using undoped TPA‐ANT‐TPA show dewetting and improved stability. Additionally, the new HTMs form a fully homogeneous and completely covering thin film on the surface of the active light absorbing perovskite layers that acts as a protective coating for underlying perovskite films. This breakthrough paves the way for development of new inexpensive, more stable, and highly efficient ANT core based lower cost HTMs for cost‐effective, conventional, and printable PSCs.  相似文献

The bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cell performance of many polymers depends on the polymer molecular weight (M n) and the solvent additive(s) used for solution processing. However, the mechanism that causes these dependencies is not well understood. This work determines how M n and solvent additives affect the performance of BHJ solar cells made with the polymer poly(di(2‐ethylhexyloxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐co‐octylthieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione) (PBDTTPD). Low M n PBDTTPD devices have exceedingly large fullerene‐rich domains, which cause extensive charge‐carrier recombination. Increasing the M n of PBDTTPD decreases the size of these domains and significantly improves device performance. PBDTTPD aggregation in solution affects the size of the fullerene‐rich domains and this effect is linked to the dependency of PBDTTPD solubility on M n. Due to its poor solubility high M n PBDTTPD quickly forms a fibrillar polymer network during spin‐casting and this network acts as a template that prevents large‐scale phase separation. Furthermore, processing low M n PBDTTPD devices with a solvent additive improves device performance by inducing polymer aggregation in solution and preventing large fullerene‐rich domains from forming. These findings highlight that polymer aggregation in solution plays a significant role in determining the morphology and performance of BHJ solar cells.  相似文献

To elucidate the details of film morphology/order evolution during spin‐coating, solvent and additive effects are systematically investigated for three representative organic solar cell (OSC) active layer materials using combined in situ grazing incidence wide angle x‐ray scattering (GIWAXS) and optical reflectance. Two archetypical semiconducting donor (p‐type) polymers, P3HT and PTB7, and semiconducting donor small‐molecule, p‐DTS(FBTTh2)2 are studied using three neat solvents (chloroform, chlorobenzene, 1,2‐dichlorobenzene) and four processing additives (1‐chloronaphthalene, diphenyl ether, 1,8‐diiodooctane, and 1,6‐diiodohexane). In situ GIWAXS identifies several trends: 1) for neat solvents, rapid crystallization occurs that risks kinetically locking the material into multiple crystal structures or crystalline orientations; and 2) for solvent + additive processed films, morphology evolution involves sequential transformations on timescales ranging from seconds to hours, with key divergences dependent on additive/semiconductor molecular interactions. When π‐planes dominate the additive/semiconductor interactions, both polymers and small molecule films follow similar evolutions, completing in 1–5 min. When side chains dominate the additive/semiconductor interactions, polymer film maturation times are up to 9 h, while initial crystallization times <10 s are observed for small‐molecule films. This study offers guiding information on OSC donor intermediate morphologies, evolution timescales, and divergent evolutions that can inform OSC manufacture.  相似文献

Organic solar cells are promising in terms of full‐solution‐processing which enables low‐cost and large‐scale fabrication. While single‐junction solar cells have seen a boost in power conversion efficiency (PCE), multi‐junction solar cells are promising to further enhance the PCE. In all‐solution‐processed multi‐junction solar cells, interfacial losses are often encountered between hole‐transporting layer (HTL) and the active layers and therefore greatly limit the application of newly developed high‐performance donor and acceptor materials in multi‐junction solar cells. Here, the authors report on a systematic study of interface losses in both single‐junction and multi‐junction solar cells based on representative polymer donors and HTLs using electron spectroscopy and time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry. It is found that a facile mixed HTL containing poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) and MoO x nanoparticles successfully overcomes the interfacial losses in both single‐ and multi‐junction solar cells based on various active layers by reducing interface protonation, promoting better energy‐level alignment, and forming a dense and smooth layer. Solution‐processed single‐junction solar cells are demonstrated to reach the same performance as with evaporated MoO x (over 7%). Multi‐junction solar cells with polymers containing nitrogen atoms as the first layer and the mixed PEDOT:PSS and MoO x nanoparticles as hole extraction layer reach fill factor (FF) of over 60%, and PCE of over 8%, while the identical stack with pristine PEDOT:PSS or MoO x nanoparticles show FF smaller than 50% and PCE less than 5%.  相似文献

Design rules are presented for significantly expanding sequential processing (SqP) into previously inaccessible polymer:fullerene systems by tailoring binary solvent blends for fullerene deposition. Starting with a base solvent that has high fullerene solubility, 2‐chlorophenol (2‐CP), ellipsometry‐based swelling experiments are used to investigate different co‐solvents for the fullerene‐casting solution. By tuning the Flory‐Huggins χ parameter of the 2‐CP/co‐solvent blend, it is possible to optimally swell the polymer of interest for fullerene interdiffusion without dissolution of the polymer underlayer. In this way solar cell power conversion efficiencies are obtained for the PTB7 (poly[(4,8‐bis[(2‐ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)(3‐fluoro‐2‐[(2‐ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4‐b]thiophenediyl)]) and PC61BM (phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester) materials combination that match those of blend‐cast films. Both semicrystalline (e.g., P3HT (poly(3‐hexylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl)) and entirely amorphous (e.g., PSDTTT (poly[(4,8‐di(2‐butyloxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)‐alt‐(2,5‐bis(4,4′‐bis(2‐octyl)dithieno[3,2‐b:2′3′‐d]silole‐2,6‐diyl)thiazolo[5,4‐d]thiazole)]) conjugated polymers can be processed into highly efficient photovoltaic devices using the solvent‐blend SqP design rules. Grazing‐incidence wide‐angle x‐ray diffraction experiments confirm that proper choice of the fullerene casting co‐solvent yields well‐ordered interdispersed bulk heterojunction (BHJ) morphologies without the need for subsequent thermal annealing or the use of trace solvent additives (e.g., diiodooctane). The results open SqP to polymer/fullerene systems that are currently incompatible with traditional methods of device fabrication, and make BHJ morphology control a more tractable problem.  相似文献

To date, the most efficient perovskite solar cells (PSCs) employ an n–i–p device architecture that uses a 2,2′,7,7′‐tetrakis(N,N‐di‐p‐methoxyphenyl‐amine)‐9,9′‐spirobifluorene (spiro‐OMeTAD) hole‐transporting material (HTM), which achieves optimum conductivity with the addition of lithium bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide (LiTFSI) and air exposure. However, this additive along with its oxidation process leads to poor reproducibility and is detrimental to stability. Herein, a dicationic salt spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2, is employed as an effective p‐dopant to achieve power conversion efficiencies of 19.3% and 18.3% (apertures of 0.16 and 1.00 cm2) with excellent reproducibility in the absence of LiTFSI and air exposure. As far as it is known, these are the highest‐performing n–i–p PSCs without LiTFSI or air exposure. Comprehensive analysis demonstrates that precise control of the proportion of [spiro‐OMeTAD]+ directly provides high conductivity in HTM films with low series resistance, fast hole extraction, and lower interfacial charge recombination. Moreover, the spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2‐doped devices show improved stability, benefitting from well‐retained HTM morphology without forming aggregates or voids when tested under an ambient atmosphere. A facile approach is presented to fabricate highly efficient PSCs by replacing LiTFSI with spiro‐OMeTAD(TFSI)2. Furthermore, this study provides an insight into the relationship between device performance and the HTM doping level.  相似文献

Silicon solar cells among different types of solar energy harvesters have entered the commercial market owing to their high power conversion efficiency and stability. By replacing the electrode and the p‐type layer by a single layer of carbon nanotubes, the device can be further simplified. This greatly augments the attractiveness of silicon solar cells in the light of raw material shortages and the solar payback period, as well as lowering the fabrication costs. However, carbon nanotube‐based silicon solar cells still lack device efficiency and stability. These can be improved by chemical doping, antireflection coating, and encapsulation. In this work, the multifunctional effects of p‐doping, antireflection, and encapsulation are observed simultaneously, by applying a polymeric acid. This method increases the power conversion efficiency of single‐walled carbon nanotube‐based silicon solar cells from 9.5% to 14.4% and leads to unprecedented device stability of more than 120 d under severe conditions. In addition, the polymeric acid‐applied carbon nanotube‐based silicon solar cells show excellent chemical and mechanical robustness. The obtained stable efficiency stands the highest among the reported carbon nanotube‐based silicon solar cells.  相似文献

We report on the effects of screening of the electric field by doping‐induced mobile charges on photocurrent collection in operational organic solar cells. Charge transport and recombination were studied using double injection (DI) and charge extraction by linearly increasing voltage (CELIV) transient techniques in bulk‐heterojunction solar cells made from acceptor‐donor blends of poly(3‐n‐hexylthiophene):phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (P3HT:PC60BM). It is shown that the screening of the built‐in field in operational solar cells can be controlled by an external voltage while the influence on charge transport and recombination is measured. An analytical theory to extract the bimolecular recombination coefficient as a function of electric field from the injection current is also reported. The results demonstrate that the suppressed (non‐Langevin) bimolecular recombination rate and charge collection are not strongly affected by native doping levels in this materials combination. Hence, it is not necessary to reduce the level of doping further to improve the device performance of P3HT‐based solar cells.  相似文献

In this work, a new combination of a wide bandgap polymer poly[4,8‐bis(5‐(2‐ethylhexyl)thiophen‐2‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]‐dithiophene‐alt‐N‐(2‐hexyldecyl)‐5′5‐bis[3‐(decylthio)thiophene‐2‐yl]‐2′2‐bithiophene‐3′3‐dicarboximide] (PBTIBDTT) and a non‐fullerene small molecule acceptor based on a bulky seven‐ring fused core (indacenodithieno[3,2‐b]thiophene) end‐capped with 2‐(3‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydroinden‐1‐ylidene)malononitrile groups with one fluorine substituent (ITIC‐F) is proposed, and as‐cast non‐fullerene organic solar cells (NFOSCs) with 11.2% efficiency are achieved. The device efficiencies are also insensitive to the variation of photoactive layer (PAL) thickness and can maintain over 9% efficiency as PAL thickness increases to 350 nm, which is one of the best results for as‐cast organic solar cells. More importantly, non‐fullerene organic photovoltaic (OPV) modules are demonstrated via laser ablation technique for the first time, which delivers a record efficiency of 8.6% (with active area of 3.48 cm2) among large‐area OPV modules. Furthermore, the morphology and performance evolutions of the as‐cast NFOSCs and the ones processed with solvent additive are systematically investigated. The results demonstrate the great advantage of as‐cast solar cells in achieving constant morphology and high performance with thick PALs. The NFOSCs fabricated with simple procedure, insensitive to film thickness and compatible with large‐area OPV modules, show significant potential for application the future.  相似文献

The development of organic semiconductors for use in thermoelectrics requires the optimization of both their thermopower and electrical conductivity. Here two fundamentally different doping mechanisms are used to investigate the thermoelectric properties of known high hole mobility polymers: poly 3‐hexylthiophene (P3HT), poly(2,5bis(3‐tetradecylthiophen‐2‐yl)thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene) (PBTTT‐C14), and poly(2,5‐bis(thiphen‐2‐yl)‐(3,7‐diheptadecantyltetrathienoacene)) (P2TDC17‐FT4). The small molecule tetrafluorotetracyanoquinodimethane (F4TCNQ) is known to effectively dope these polymers, and the thermoelectric properties are studied as a function of the ratio of dopant to polymer repeat unit. Higher electrical conductivity and values of the thermoelectric power factor are achieved by doping with vapor‐deposited fluoroalkyl trichlorosilanes. The combination of these data reveals a striking relationship between thermopower and conductivity in thiophene‐based polymers over a large range of electrical conductivity that is independent of the means of electrical doping. This relationship is not predicted by commonly used transport models for semiconducting polymers and is demonstrated to hold for other semiconducting polymers as well.  相似文献

A novel crosslinkable aminoalkyl‐functionalized polymer, poly[9,9‐bis(6‐(N,N‐diethylamino)propyl)fluorene‐alt‐9,9‐bis(hex‐5‐en‐1‐yl)‐fluorene] (PFN‐V), is designed and synthesized. The resulting polymer can be rapidly crosslinked by UV‐curing within 5 s in a nearly quantitative yield based on the “click” chemistry of alkyene end‐groups of the PFN‐V side chains and the addition of 1,8‐octanedithiol. The crosslinked PFN‐V film exhibits excellent solvent resistance property and can act as effective cathode interlayer to modify the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode, which can thus facilitate the formation of Ohmic contact between cathode and active layer. The surface energy of PFN‐V is quite comparable to that of PC71BM, which is favorable for the formation of vertical phase separation in the bulk heterojunction film that can facilitate extraction of charges as verified by transient photocurrent measurements. Based on the resulting PFN‐V as the cathode interlayer, the fabricated polymer solar cells with inverted device structure show a remarkable enhancement of power conversion efficiency from 3.11% for the control device to 9.18% for PFN‐V based device. These observations indicate that the synthesized PFN‐V can be a promising crosslinked copolymer as the cathode interlayer for high performance polymer solar cells.  相似文献

Tandem photoelectrochemical water splitting cells utilizing crystalline Si and metal oxide photoabsorbers are promising for low‐cost solar hydrogen production. This study presents a device design and a scalable fabrication scheme for a tandem heterostructure photoanode: p+n black silicon (Si)/SnO2 interface/W‐doped bismuth vanadate (BiVO4)/cobalt phosphate (CoPi) catalyst. The black‐Si not only provides a substantial photovoltage of 550 mV, but it also serves as a conductive scaffold to decrease charge transport pathlengths within the W‐doped BiVO4 shell. When coupled with cobalt phosphide (CoP) nanoparticles as hydrogen evolution catalysts, the device demonstrates spontaneous water splitting without employing any precious metals, achieving an average solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency of 0.45% over the course of an hour at pH 7. This fabrication scheme offers the modularity to optimize individual cell components, e.g., Si nanowire dimensions and metal oxide film thickness, involving steps that are compatible with fabricating monolithic devices. This design is general in nature and can be readily adapted to novel, higher performance semiconducting materials beyond BiVO4 as they become available, which will accelerate the process of device realization.  相似文献

The photoinduced open‐circuit voltage (Voc) loss commonly observed in bulk heterojunction organic solar cells made from amorphous polymers is investigated. It is observed that the total charge carrier density and, importantly, the recombination dynamics are unchanged by photoinduced burn‐in. Charge extraction is used to monitor changes in the density of states (DOS) during degradation of the solar cells, and a broadening over time is observed. It is proposed that the Voc losses observed during burn‐in are caused by a redistribution of charge carriers in a broader DOS. The temperature and light intensity dependence of the Voc losses can be described with an analytical model that contains the amount of disorder broadening in a Gaussian DOS as the only fit parameter. Finally, the Voc loss in solar cells made from amorphous and crystalline polymers is compared and an increased stability observed in crystalline polymer solar cells is investigated. It is found that solar cells made from crystalline materials have a considerably higher charge carrier density than those with amorphous materials. The effects of a DOS broadening upon aging are suppressed in solar cells with crystalline materials due to their higher carrier density, making crystalline materials more stable against Voc losses during burn‐in.  相似文献

An original set of experimental and modeling tools is used to quantify the yield of each of the physical processes leading to photocurrent generation in organic bulk heterojunction solar cells, enabling evaluation of materials and processing condition beyond the trivial comparison of device performances. Transient absorption spectroscopy, “the” technique to monitor all intermediate states over the entire relevant timescale, is combined with time‐delayed collection field experiments, transfer matrix simulations, spectral deconvolution, and parametrization of the charge carrier recombination by a two‐pool model, allowing quantification of densities of excitons and charges and extrapolation of their kinetics to device‐relevant conditions. Photon absorption, charge transfer, charge separation, and charge extraction are all quantified for two recently developed wide‐bandgap donor polymers: poly(4,8‐bis((2‐ethylhexyl)oxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐3,4‐difluorothiophene) (PBDT[2F]T) and its nonfluorinated counterpart poly(4,8‐bis((2‐ethylhexyl)oxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐3,4‐thiophene) (PBDT[2H]T) combined with PC71BM in bulk heterojunctions. The product of these yields is shown to agree well with the devices' external quantum efficiency. This methodology elucidates in the specific case studied here the origin of improved photocurrents obtained when using PBDT[2F]T instead of PBDT[2H]T as well as upon using solvent additives. Furthermore, a higher charge transfer (CT)‐state energy is shown to lead to significantly lower energy losses (resulting in higher VOC) during charge generation compared to P3HT:PCBM.  相似文献

Polymers based on thieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione derivatives are interesting and promising candidates for organic bulk heterojunction solar cells. Herein, a series of push–pull conjugated polymers based on thieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione (TPD), furo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione (FPD), and selenopheno[3,4‐c]‐pyrrole‐4,6‐dione (SePD) have been synthesized by direct heteroarylation polymerization and fully characterized. The impacts of both the heteroatom (sulfur, oxygen, and selenium) and the side chain (branched or linear) of [3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione unit on the electro‐optical properties have been investigated. Among polymers developed, two new highly processable terthiophene–SePD ( P4 ) and dithienosilole–SePD ( P9 ) copolymers led to air‐processed polymer solar cells with power conversion efficiencies of 5.1% and 7.1% using the following inverted configuration: ITO/ZnO/Polymer:PCBM/MoO3/Ag. These promising results make P4 and P9 good candidates for further upscaling and device optimization.  相似文献

The development of effective and stable hole transporting materials (HTMs) is very important for achieving high‐performance planar perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, copper salts (cuprous thiocyanate (CuSCN) or cuprous iodide (CuI)) doped 2,2,7,7‐tetrakis(N,N‐di‐p‐methoxyphenylamine)‐9,9‐spirobifluorene (spiro‐OMeTAD) based on a solution processing as the HTM in PSCs is demonstrated. The incorporation of CuSCN (or CuI) realizes a p‐type doping with efficient charge transfer complex, which results in improved film conductivity and hole mobility in spiro‐OMeTAD:CuSCN (or CuI) composite films. As a result, the PCE is largely improved from 14.82% to 18.02% due to obvious enhancements in the cell parameters of short‐circuit current density and fill factor. Besides the HTM role, the composite film can suppress the film aggregation and crystallization of spiro‐OMeTAD films with reduced pinholes and voids, which slows down the perovskite decomposition by avoiding the moisture infiltration to some extent. The finding in this work provides a simple method to improve the efficiency and stability of planar perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

A strategy for developing a novel donor–π–acceptor conducting polymeric hole transport material ( TTB–TTQ ) based on thiophene and benzothiadiazole as an alternative to spiro‐MeOTAD is reported. The resulting polymer is highly soluble in many organic solvents and exhibits excellent film formability. The addition of lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl) imide salt and tert‐butylpyridine to TTB–TTQ results in a rough film surface with a fibril structure and improved charge transport. A perovskite solar cell with the highest power conversion efficiency (η) yet achieved in such cells, 14.1%, which is 22.6% greater than that of a device employing a spiro‐MeOTAD is demonstrated. This strategy provides a novel approach to developing solar cell materials for efficient perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

A wide‐bandgap polymer, (poly[(2,6‐(4,8‐bis(5‐(2‐ethylhexyl)thiophen‐2‐yl)‐benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene))‐alt‐(2,5‐(methyl thiophene carboxylate))]) (3MT‐Th), is synthesized to obtain a complementary broad range absorption when harmonized with 3,9‐bis(2‐methylene‐(3‐(1,1‐dicyanomethylene)‐indanone))‐5,5,11,11‐tetrakis(4‐hexylphenyl)‐dithieno[2,3‐d:2′,3′‐d′]‐s‐indaceno[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene (ITIC). The synthesized regiorandom 3MT‐Th polymer shows good solubility in nonhalogenated solvents. A film of 3MT‐Th:ITIC can be employed for forming an active layer in a polymer solar cell (PSC), with the blend solution containing toluene with 0.25% diphenylether as a nonhalogenated additive. The corresponding PSC devices display a power conversion efficiency of 9.73%. Moreover, the 3MT‐Th‐based PSCs exhibit excellent shelf‐life time of over 1000 h and are operationally stable under continuous light illumination. Therefore, methyl thiophene‐3‐carboxylate in 3MT‐Th is a promising new accepting unit for constructing p‐type polymers used for high‐performance nonfullerene‐type PSCs.  相似文献

There has been considerable progress over the last decade in development of the perovskite solar cells (PSCs), with reported performances now surpassing 25.2% power conversion efficiency. Both long‐term stability and component costs of PSCs remain to be addressed by the research community, using hole transporting materials (HTMs) such as 2,2′,7,7′‐tetrakis(N,N′‐di‐pmethoxyphenylamino)‐9,9′‐spirbiuorene(Spiro‐OMeTAD) and poly[bis(4‐phenyl)(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)amine] (PTAA). HTMs are essential for high‐performance PSC devices. Although effective, these materials require a relatively high degree of doping with additives to improve charge mobility and interlayer/substrate compatibility, introducing doping‐induced stability issues with these HTMs, and further, additional costs and experimental complexity associated with using these doped materials. This article reviews dopant‐free organic HTMs for PSCs, outlining reports of structures with promising properties toward achieving low‐cost, effective, and scalable materials for devices with long‐term stability. It summarizes recent literature reports on non‐doped, alternative, and more stable HTMs used in PSCs as essential components for high‐efficiency cells, categorizing HTMs as reported for different PSC architectures in addition to use of dopant‐free small molecular and polymeric HTMs. Finally, an outlook and critical assessment of dopant‐free organic HTMs toward commercial application and insight into the development of stable PSC devices is provided.  相似文献

High‐quality charge carrier transport materials are of key importance for stable and efficient perovskite‐based photovoltaics. This work reports on electron‐beam‐evaporated nickel oxide (NiOx) layers, resulting in stable power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of up to 18.5% when integrated into solar cells employing inkjet‐printed perovskite absorbers. By adding oxygen as a process gas and optimizing the layer thickness, transparent and efficient NiOx hole transport layers (HTLs) are fabricated, exhibiting an average absorptance of only 1%. The versatility of the material is demonstrated for different absorber compositions and deposition techniques. As another highlight of this work, all‐evaporated perovskite solar cells employing an inorganic NiOx HTL are presented, achieving stable PCEs of up to 15.4%. Along with good PCEs, devices with electron‐beam‐evaporated NiOx show improved stability under realistic operating conditions with negligible degradation after 40 h of maximum power point tracking at 75 °C. Additionally, a strong improvement in device stability under ultraviolet radiation is found if compared to conventional perovskite solar cell architectures employing other metal oxide charge transport layers (e.g., titanium dioxide). Finally, an all‐evaporated perovskite solar mini‐module with a NiOx HTL is presented, reaching a PCE of 12.4% on an active device area of 2.3 cm2.  相似文献
