齿茎马颖蜡蝉的再研究(半翅目:蜡蝉总科:颖蜡蝉科)

对齿茎马颖蜡蝉Magadha denticulata Fennah,1956做了进一步研究,证实该种不属于马颖蜡蝉属Ma-gadhaDistant,1906,而是半贝颖蜡蝉属Semibetatropis Chen,Yang et Wilson,1988种类;同时提供该种雄、雌虫体的鉴别特征图。检视标本保存于美国加州科学院(CAS)。     

Taxonomic notes on the genus Syndiamesa Kieffer (Diptera: Chironomidae) from Japan, with description of a new species

The Japanese species of the genus Syndiamesa are revised. A new species, Syndiamesa longipilosa sp. nov., from Honshu, Japan is described from male and female material. The male of Syndiamesa mira (Makarchenko) from Japan is redescribed and figured. Syndiamesa chuzemagna Sasa is synonymized with Syndiamesa yosiii Tokunaga. Syndiamesa bicolor Tokunaga is transferred to the genus Sympotthastia. A key to males of Japanese Syndiamesa is provided.     

The genus Batozonellus from China with description of a new species (Hymenoptera: Pompilidae)

The genus Batozonellus(Pompilidae: Pompilinae) from China is reviewed. A new species, B. flavithoracicus Li Li, sp. nov. from Yunnan, China, is described and illustrated. A key to the Chinese species of Batozonellus, modified from Tsuneki(1989), is provided.

记述了中国颖蜡蝉科Achilidae1属:埃颖蜡蝉属EpiramaMelichar及1种:弗氏埃颖蜡蝉E.francescoides Fennah,1965。同时提供了该属属征及该种雄虫与雌虫的鉴别特征图。研究标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所(IZCAS)动物标本馆。     

The genus Arctorthezia Cockerell (Hemiptera,Ortheziidae) with the description of a new species

This paper describes a new species of Arctorthezia Cockerell (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Ortheziidae) from the Palaearctic region. The specimens were extracted from forest litter in the collections of Muséum d’histoire Naturelle de Genève, Switzerland, using Berlese funnels. Three further species, Arctorthezia cataphracta (Olafsen), Arctorthezia occidentalis (Douglas) and Arctorthezia pseudoccidentalis Morrison, are redescribed and re-illustrated. The genus Arctorthezia now contains five species. An identification key, diagnostic illustrations, photographs of unmounted females and new locality records of the Arctorthezia species currently known are provided.     

Revision of fossil species of Deinodryinus, with description of a new species (Hymenoptera, Dryinidae)

Deinodryinus veltenisp. n. is described from middle Eocene Baltic amber. The species differs from other fossil Palaearctic species of Deinodryinus Perkins owing to the shape of the antenna (clavate, with distal part very thickened), the large compound eyes, and the distal part of the stigmal vein much longer than the proximal part. A revision and a key to the fossil Palaearctic species of Deinodryinus Perkins, 1907 is presented.     

Revision of the genus Parasapyga Turner (Hymenoptera,Sapygidae), with the description of two new species

Two new species, Parasapyga boschi sp. n. from Vietnam and P. yvonnae sp. n. from Indonesia are described. Parasapyga walshae van der Vecht, 1940, is treated as a valid species instead of a subspecies of P. moelleri Turner, 1910. A key to the species of the genus is added and all species are illustrated.     

脊颜茎蜂属评述暨一新种(膜翅目:茎蜂科)

基于模式标本和新材料研究了茎蜂科脊颜茎蜂属,修订了该属属征和主要鉴别特征.该属唇基上区具锐利中脊,下唇须第4节短,明显宽于下颚须第4节,左上额粗短,中部显著弯折,雄虫多数鞭分节腹侧钝齿状突出,雌虫部分锯刃具多列亚基齿等特征,与茎蜂科其余各属均不相同.描述了脊颜茎蜂属1新种,采集自江西和湖南南部山区.编制了种检索表.     

Notes on some corydiid species from China,with the description of a new genus (Blattodea: Corydioidea: Corydiidae)

This article presents the diversity of cockroach family Corydiidae from China. Epipolyphaga wukong Qiu, Che et Wang, n. gen., n. sp., is described. Habitus and detailed characters of the new taxa are illustrated. A comparison between the new genus and the morphologically similar genus Eupolyphaga Chopard is given. The genus Tivia Walker and the species Eucorydia westwoodi (Gerstaecker) are newly recorded from China. The Corydioidea chapter in Cockroaches of Southeastern China by Liu et al. is revised. A key to genera and a checklist of Chinese Corydiidae are provided.     

Review of the genus Thubana Walker (Lepidoptera, Lecithoceridae) from China, with description of one new species

The genus Thubana Walker is reviewed for China. Nine species are recognized, of which Thubana felinaurita Li, sp. n. is described as new; Thubana dialeukos Park, 2003 and Thubana xanthoteles (Meyrick, 1923) are newly recorded for this country; Thubana stenosis (Park, 2003), syn. n. is synonymised with Thubana xanthoteles, and Thubana microcera (Gozmány, 1978), syn. n. with Thubana leucosphena Meyrick, 1931. Images of adults and genitalia are provided. A checklist of Thubana species in China is included, along with a key to these species.     

The genus Glaucopterum Wagner(Hemiptera: Miridae: Phylinae) from China,with description of two new species

Three species of mirid genus Glaucopterum from China are presented of which Glaucopterum nitrarium sp. nov. and G. shanxiense sp. nov. are described as new. A key to Chinese species is offered. Photographs of the dorsal habitus and illustrations of the genitalia are provided. All type specimens are deposited in Institute of Entomology, Nankai University, Tianjin, China.     

Revision of the Indo–Australian parasitic wasp genus Macrobracon with the description of two new species (Hymenoptera: Braconidae)

Illustrated keys to males and females of the 13 known species of the Indo-Australian braconine genus Macrobracon Szépligeti are provided. Principal components analysis has been conducted to aid in the recognition. All known species are redescribed. Two new species are described: M. flavus from Malaysia and Indonesia and M. unicolor from Taiwan.     

Taxonomic study of the genus Neurotettix Matsumura (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Deltocephalinae) with a description of a new species from China

This paper treats all four known species of the genus Neurotettix Matsumura, 1914 (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Deltocephalinae), including one new species: Neurotettix truncatussp. n. from China. A key is given to distinguish all species of the genus, and illustrations of genitalia are provided.     

A review of the genus Aleurolobus Quaintance and Baker (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) from Taiwan, based mainly on pupal morphology with a description of a new species

The whitefly species of the genus Aleurolobus Quaintance and Baker are reviewed from Taiwan. A total of nine species are included. Aleurolobus shiiae Takahashi is new to Taiwan. Aleurolobus osmanthi Young is considered as a junior synonym of Aleurolobus taonabae (Kuwana). A new species, Aleurolobus rubus Dubey and Ko, is described, and the puparia of the new species are diagnosed in a combination of characters: the dorsal pores scattered over dorsum; each located on a large subcircular, chitinised cuticular dorsal marking; faint eye spots; broader submargin; and the vasiform orifice set anterior to the caudal end of puparium by nearly twice of its own length. The record of Aleurolobus philippinensis Quaintance and Baker, and Aleurolobus setigerus Quaintance and Baker from Taiwan is discussed. The puparial diagnosis of each species, identification key to species so far known from Taiwan and illustrations for each species are provided.     

Revision of Nearctic species of Esagonatopus, with description of a new species from Florida (Hymenoptera, Dryinidae)

Esagonatopus floridensissp. n. is described from Florida, Oklaloosa County (USA). A revision of the three Nearctic species of Esagonatopus Olmi, 1984 is presented. New data on geographic distribution, morphologic variability and opposite sexes of Esagonatopus niger (Fenton, 1924) and Esagonatopus perdebilis (Perkins, 1907) are given. A key to the Nearctic species of Esagonatopus is presented.     

A review of the genus Oreta Walker in Korea,with description of a new species (Lepidoptera: Drepanidae)

Genus Oreta Walker of Drepanidae in Korea is reviewed, with six species including a new species, sambongsana sp. nov., which is closely similar to O. pulchripes in superficial and genital characters. Taxonomic notes on all known species, with illustrations of adults and the male genitalia are provided. A key to species is given.     

Taxonomic study of the genus Deltonotus Hancock (Orthoptera: Cladonotidae) with description of a new species

The genus Deltonotus Hancock, 1904 was reviewed, including one new species, D. wuzhishanensis sp. nov. A key to species of the genus Deltonotus Hancock, 1904 is given. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University.     

The genus Cryptophagus Herbst, 1792 (Coleoptera: Cryptophagidae) in Japan with description of a new species

The 17 species of the genus Cryptophagus Herbst known from Japan are analysed and revised. The opinions of different authors about the value of the characteristics of the external anatomy are contrasted, and an identification key and figures of the studied species are presented. Cryptophagus jaloszynskii sp. nov is described. Following a detailed study of the type material in different entomological collections, the status of taxa is revised and 3 new synonyms are proposed: Cryptophagus deceptor Grouvelle, 1919 and Cryptophagus longipennis Grouvelle, 1919 are syn. nov. for Cryptophagus dilutus Reitter, 1874 and Cryptophagus longiventris Grouvelle, 1919 syn. nov. for Cryptophagus latangulus Reitter, 1889. Cryptophagus elegans Grouvelle, 1919 resurrected from synonymy with Cryptophagus decoratus Reitter, 1874. A neotype is designated for Cryptophagus elegans Grouvelle, 1918; a lectotype and paralectotype is designated for 7 taxa: Cryptophagus decoratus Reitter, 1874; Cryptophagus deceptor Grouvelle, 1919; Cryptophagus grouvellei Bruce, 1938; Cryptophagus latangulus Reitter, 1889; Cryptophagus lewisi Reitter, 1874; Cryptophagus longior Grouvelle, 1919 and Cryptophagus longiventris Grouvelle, 1919. Cryptophagus zonatus Lyubarsky, 1995 previously known only from China is reported here for the first time from Japan.
