2′,4′-Dihydroxychalcone, 4′-hydroxy-2′-methoxychalcone and 2′,4′-dihydroxy-3′-methoxychalcone were isolated and characterized from the resinous exudate produced by Acacia neovernicosa. Smaller amounts of isoliquiritigenin, pinocembrin and chrysin were also found and identified by their chromatographic properties and UV spectra. Soybean 11S globulin was polymerized by incubating with peroxidizing linoleic acid. The molar ratio of the acidic subunits to the basic subunits of 11S globulin decreased with the elapse of the incubation time. The acidic subunits were lost faster and formed polymers more easily than the basic subunits. The acidic and basic subunits in 11S globulin were fractionated by DEAE-Sephadex gel chromatography. Each of the acidic and basic subunits was allowed to react with peroxidizing linoleic acid individually. The results also showed that the acidic subunits formed polymers faster than the basic subunits. Both succinylated and acetylated 11S globulins were also submitted to the incubation with peroxidizing linoleic acid. The polymerization of the modified protein was suppressed by masking ε-amino groups.  相似文献

The biosynthetic relations between protoberberine-, benzo[C]phenanthridine- and B-secoprotoberberine type alkaloids were demonstrated by use of (±)-tetrahydrocoptisine-[8,14-3H HCl, (±)-tetrahydrocorysamine-[8,14-3H]HCl and corynoline-[6-3H]HCl in Corydalis incisa, and the following results were presented. (±)-Tetrahydrocoptisine was converted to corynoline, corydalic acid methyl ester and corydamine hydrochloride. (±)-Tetrahydrocorysamine was converted to corynoline and corydalic acid methyl ester. Evidence that N-methyl-3-[6′-(3′,4′-methylenedioxyphenethylalcohol)]-4-methyl-7,8-methylenedioxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline-[α-3H] HCl was incorporated into corynoline-[11-3H] indicates the occurrence of the ring fission at C6-N followed by linking ofthe C6 and C13 positions in (±)-tetrahydrocoptisine and (±)-tetrahydrocorysamine, and suggests the participation of one of two possible intermediates in the biosynthesis of these alkaloids.  相似文献

Two new highly oxygenated flavones, were isolated from aerial parts of Ageratum houstonianum. Their structures were established as 3′-hydroxy-5,6,7,8,2′,4′,5′-heptamethoxyflavone and 5,3′-dihydroxy-6,7,8,2′,4′,5′-hexamethoxyflavone on the basis of spectral data and chemical degradation. From the leaves of Myrica gale 2′,4′-dihydroxy-6′-methoxy-3′,5′-dimethylchalcone has been isolated. The fruits yielded 2′-hydroxy-4′,6′-dimethoxy-3′-methyldihydrochalcone. The constitutions were deduced from spectroscopic data and confirmed by synthesis.  相似文献

Large unilamellar vesicles, prepared by a petroleum ether vaporization method, were compared to multilamellar vesicles with respect to a number of physical and functional properties. Rotational correlation time approximations, derived from ESR spectra of both hydrophilic (3-doxyl cholestane) and hydrophobic (3-doxyl androstanol) steroid spin probes, indicated similar molecular packing of lipids in bilayers of multilamellar and large unilamellar liposomes. Light scattering measurements demonstrated a reduction in apparent absorbance of large unilamellar vesicles, suggesting loss of multilamellar structure which was confirmed by electron microscopy. Furthermore, large unilamellar vesicles exhibited enhanced passive diffusion rates of small solutes, releasing a greater percentage of their contents within 90 min than multilamellar vesicles, and reflecting the less restricted diffusion of a unilamellar system. The volume trapping capacity of large unilamellar vesicles far exceeded that of multilamellar liposomes, except in the presence of a trapped protein, soy bean trypsin inhibitor, which reduced the volume of the aqueous compartments of large unilamellar vesicles. Finally, measurement of vesicle diameters from electron micrographs of large unilamellar vesicles showed a vesicle size distribution predominantly in the range of 0.1–0.4 μm with a mean diameter of 0.21 μm.  相似文献

Certain long-term fluorescence phenomena observed in intact leaves of higher plants and in isolated chloroplasts show a reverse relationship to light-induced absorbance changes at 535 nm (“chloroplast shrinkage”).

1. 1. In isolated chloroplasts with intact envelopes strong fluorescence quenching upon prolonged illumination with red light is accompanied by an absorbance increase. Both effects are reversed by uncoupling with cyclohexylammonium chloride.

2. 2. The fluorescence quenching is reversed in the dark with kinetics very similar to those of the dark decay of chloroplast shrinkage.

3. 3. In intact leaves under strong illumination with red light in CO2-free air a low level of variable fluorescence and a strong shrinkage response are observed. Carbon dioxide was found to increase fluorescence and to inhibit shrinkage.

4. 4. Under nitrogen, CO2 caused fluorescence quenching and shrinkage increase at low concentrations. At higher CO2 levels fluorescence was increased and shrinkage decreased.

5. 5. In the presence of CO2, the steady-state yield of fluorescence was lower under nitrogen than under air, whereas chloroplast shrinkage was stimulated in nitrogen and suppressed in air.

6. 6. These results demonstrate that the fluorescence yield does not only depend on the redox state of the quencher Q, but to a large degree also on the high-energy state of the thylakoid system associated with photophosphorylation.

The distribution of sarcophytol-A in the Sarcophyton genus was investigated in seven samples belonging to S. glaucum (3 samples), S. infundibulifurme (2 samples), S. crassocaule (1 sample) and S. trocheliophorum (1 sample) that were collected on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Sarcophytol-A was present in one sample each of S. glaucum and S. infundibulifurme. This study indicates that the composition of cembranoids in the Sarcophyton genus is not related with the respective species, but with the individual samples collected.  相似文献
