The fruit-coat fats of Rhopalostylis sapida, R. baueri (Palmae), Elaeocarpus dentatus (Elaeocarpaceae) and Nestegis cunninghamii (Oleaceae) and the seed fats of E. dentatus and N. cunninghamii contain as their major fatty acids palmitic 11–35%, oleic 13–68%, and linoleic 16–31%. The seed fat of E. dentatus contains 10% hexadecenoic acid and the fruit-coat fat of N. cunninghamii 13% linolenic acid.  相似文献

Labdane diterpene acids were found to be the major resin acid components in Pinus nigra needles of various seed sources. The major constituents have been identified as 4-epiimbricataloic acid, manoyl oxide 19-oic acid, 4-epicommunic acid, and 15-monomethyl pinifolate. A GC method was developed to analytically differentiate pinifolic acid from its monomethyl ester in an admixture of both compounds. A minor resin acid was identified as 18-acetoxy-8(17)-labden-15-oic acid. 10-Nonacosanol and isoabienol were identified as major constituents of the needle and cortex extractives, respectively.  相似文献

Acetone-soluble extractives of “blue” and “green” strain Pinus muricata D. Don were found to consist of free and “combined” fatty acids, resin acids, and phenols. The composition of the extractives from the two strains was similar though “green” strain P. muricata contained more Δ8(9),15 isopimaric acid than “blue” strain. This difference may be used to identify these muricata strains if the age of the wood precludes a monoterpene examination.  相似文献

A new pimarane diterpenoid, named botryopimarene A ( 1 ), was discovered from the fungus Botryotinia fuckeliana MCCC 3 A00494 isolated from the deep‐sea water, together with ten known compounds. The planar structure of 1 was established based on the extensive spectroscopic analyses. The absolute configurations of tricyclic system in 1 were resolved by the theoretical ECD calculation, while the 15,16‐diol moiety in the side chain was resolved by the Mo2(OAc)4‐induced ECD spectrum. Compound 1 , featuring a Δ9(11) double bond, was rarely discovered in pimarane family. Compounds 1 – 11 were tested for their cytotoxic activities using six human cancer cell lines by the MTT method. However, none of the compounds exhibited detectable cytotoxicities (IC50 >20 μm ).  相似文献

Stem cutin from P. radiata seedlings grown under winter and summer environmental conditions comprised n-alkanoic, (C10–C26), α, ω-alkanedioic (C14–C22), ω-hydroxyalkanoic (C12–C24), hydroxy-α, ω-alkanedioic and polyhydroxyalkanoic acids. 9-Hydroxyheptadecane-1, 17-dioic, 9-hydroxyoctadecene-1, 18-dioic, 9-hydroxynonadecane-1, 19-dioic, and 10, 17-dihydroxyheptadecanoic acids are newly-identified constituents of gymnosperm cutin. Cutin grown under winter temperatures and photoperiod contained twice the amount of 9, 16-dihydroxyhexadecanoic acid than that in summer-grown cutin, suggesting that the winter-grown cutin was formed from a highly cross-linked polymer, and that summer-grown cutin contained more linear polyester portions in the polymer.  相似文献

Floral parts and buds of Delonix regia contain α-ketoglutaric acid, oxaloacetic acid, pyruvic acid and glyoxylic acid. Proline and hydroxyproline biosynthesis has been demonstrated. The calyx and androecium accumulate glyoxylic acid, in amounts greater than those reported for other plants.  相似文献

The two diastereoisomers, (2S,4R)-4-hydroxyglutamic acid and (2S,4S)-4-hydroxyglutamic acid, occur in characteristic concentration ratios in Phlox species. The second of these compounds is the principal free amino acid in the green parts of the plants. The presence of (2S,4R)-4-hydroxyglutamic acid in plants is reported for the first tiine. No other 4-substituted acidic amino acids were detected in the Phlox species analysed, although special attention was paid to the possible presence of 4-hydroxy-4-methylglutamic acids which have previously been reported in plants. It was found, however, that both diastereoisomers of (2S)-4-hydroxy-4-methylglutamic acid co-exist in Ledenbergia roseoaenea and also in Pandanus veitchii. Although the presence of 3,4-dihydroxyglutamic acids in green parts of Lepidium sativum and Rheum rhaponticum has been previously reported, we were not able to detect or isolate any of the possible diastereoisomers from the green parts or seeds of these plants. We did isolate glutathione which was found to have some properties in common with those reported for the dihydroxy compounds.  相似文献

In comparison with barley, Proso millet was characterized by high levels of alanine and glutamic acid in the leaf free amino acid fraction. The analysis of fatty acids and hydrocarbons in the sporophytes of three Lycopodium species has revealed a characteristic distribution of C16 and C18 acids. The hydrocarbon fraction of the lipids contain a homologous series of monounsaturated alkenes in the C17C30 range with an even to odd preference. Maxima at both C17 and C27 among the n-alkanes reveals similarities both to the distribution of hydrocarbons in other plant groups. The production of spores and their inclusion with one sporophyte does not alter the fatty acid pattern but does decrease the alkene concentration and modifies the alkane distribution, shifting both maxima. The presence of pristane and phytane in all specimens, the dual maxima of alkanes and slight odd to even preference of alkanes is noteworthy in that these characteristics are possessed by geological deposits derived from Lycopodium ancestors.  相似文献

The total fatty constituents of slash pine (Pinus elliottii) tissue cultures, seeds and seedlings were examined by GLC and MS. Qualitatively, the fatty acid composition of these tissues was very similar to that reported for other pine species. The fatty acid contents of the tissue cultures resembled that of the seedling tissues. In addition to the fatty acids common to botanical materials, Δ5-C18 and -C20 nonmethy lene-interrupted polyunsaturated acids were present in low relative abundances. The branched-chain C17 acid reported for several other Pinus species was confirmed as the anteiso isomer.  相似文献

When grown on glucose as principal carbon source the culture medium of Polyporus hispidus was found to contain phenolic acids, including p-coumaric and caffeic acids. 14C-Studies indicated that phenylalanine is converted to cinnamic acid as well as to phenylpyruvic acid and tyrosine in cultures. Cell-free preparations of mycelium contained phenylalanine and tyrosine ammonia-lyse activities and were capable of effecting the hydroxylation of cinnamic, p-coumaric and benzoic acids.  相似文献
