草鱼、鲢和瓦氏黄颡鱼幼鱼感应流速的比较   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
在21±1℃水温下,使用自行制作的鱼类游泳行为测试槽,采用流速递增的方法测定了草鱼(Ctenopharyngodon idellus)(体长9.64±3.12 cm,体重20.97±16.71 g)、鲢(Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)(体长10.60±3.45 cm,体重24.37±18.61 g)和瓦氏黄颡鱼(Pelteobagrus vachelli)(体长11.54±1.46 cm,体重20.98±6.94 g)幼鱼个体的感应流速.结果表明:草鱼、鲢和瓦氏黄颡鱼幼鱼的感应流速分别是(8.21±0.68)、(6.74±0.84)和(33.11±3.06) cm·s-1,相对感应流速分别是(0.91±0.22)、(0.67±0.15)和(2.9±0.29) BL·s-1;鲢和草鱼幼鱼的感应流速差异不显著(P>0.05),但瓦氏黄颡鱼比草鱼和鲢幼鱼感应流速大近4倍,差异显著(P<0.05);因此,草鱼和鲢幼鱼较瓦氏黄颡鱼幼鱼对流速的感应更敏感.本实验结果可为设计鱼道、确定拖网速度等提供一定的科学指导.  相似文献

We studied the zooplankton community structure in a set of 33 interconnected shallow ponds that are restricted to a relatively small area (`De Maten', Genk, Belgium, 200 ha). As the ponds share the same water source, geology and history, and as the ponds are interconnected (reducing chance effects of dispersal with colonisation), differences in zooplankton community structure can be attributed to local biotic and abiotic interactions. We studied zooplankton community, biotic (phytoplankton, macrophyte cover, fish densities, macroinvertebrate densities), abiotic (turbidity, nutrient concentrations, pH, conductivity, iron concentration) and morphometric (depth, area, perimeter) characteristics of the different ponds. Our results indicate that the ponds differ substantially in their zooplankton community structure, and that these differences are strongly related to differences in trophic structure and biotic interactions, in concordance with the theory of alternative equilibria. Ponds in the clear-water state are characterised by large Daphnia species and species associated with the littoral zone, low chlorophyll-a concentrations, low fish densities and high macroinvertebrate densities. Ponds in the turbid-water state are characterised by high abundances of rotifers, cyclopoid copepods and the opposite environmental conditions. Some ponds show an intermediate pattern, with a dominance of small Daphnia species. Our results show that interconnected ponds may differ strongly in zooplankton community composition, and that these differences are related to differences in predation intensity (top-down) and habitat diversity (macrophyte cover).  相似文献

In systems of interconnected ponds or lakes, the dispersal of zooplankton may be mediated by the active population component, with rivulets and overflows functioning as dispersal pathways and the dispersal being unidirectional. Such systems offer the possibility to study the impact of dispersal rates on local population dynamics and community structure, and provide opportunities to quantify dispersal in the field in a straightforward manner. In this study, dispersal of active zooplankton populations among interconnected ponds was quantified directly in the field by sampling the small waterways connecting the ponds. The number of dispersing zooplankton sampled in connecting elements was on average high (almost 7000 ind h–1). However, the contribution of dispersing individuals to total population size in the target ponds was very limited (< 1% 24 h–1.). Only a weak diel pattern in dispersal rates was observed.  相似文献

Here we report the isolation and characterization of 17 polymorphic loci isolated from a partial genomic DNA library of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus) enriched for CA repeats. We tested variability of these microsatellites on 24 unrelated individuals collected in China. All microsatellites were polymorphic. The average allele number was 7.9 per locus, ranging from four to 13. The observed heterozygosity was from 0.46 to 0.88 with an average of 0.71, whereas the average expected heterozygosity was 0.78. Sixteen of the 17 microsatellites conformed to Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium, and inherited independently. These microsatellites can be used to study genetic diversity and population structure of wild populations, and facilitate selective breeding of cultured broodstocks.  相似文献

Zooplankton abundance and transport in a tropical white-water river   总被引:5,自引:4,他引:1  
Zooplankton abundance and transport were studied in the Apure River of western Venuzuela over a 15-month period. Much of the lower portion of the drainage basin, which is an extensive savanna of low relief, is subject to seasonal flooding. Although more than 50 zooplankton species were recorded during the study, nine rotifer species accounted for more than 90% of total density (mean, 138 individuals · L-1). Copepods were represented primarily by Mesocyclops decipiens. Most cladocerans were planktonic, but cladocerans were not abundant. Crustaceans comprised 46% of annual mean zooplankton biomass (1.9 gC·L-1) but only 2% of zooplankton numbers. The annual transport of zooplankton biomass from the watershed was 29 300 kgC. Zooplankton abundance showed a strong, inverse relationship to discharge. Secondary branches (caños) of the braided channel appeared to be the primary source areas, but populations of some species also reproduced in the main channel at low water. As the river began to rise, caños were flushed and thus abruptly ceased to serve as source areas. Zooplankton transport fell sharply and remained low until the river inundated the floodplain. Secondary production in the floodplain was exported to the river as long as a connection existed. After drainage ceased from the floodplain, transport fell to very low levels until caños again became suitable habitat. Seasonal fluctuations in river level regulate the development of source areas suitable for zooplankton growth and control the export of plankton from the source areas. Plankton in the running waters reproduce only at low water.  相似文献

结合生产实际,探讨了普通鲩鱼向脆肉鲩转变的过程和实质,提出用“断裂应力δρ”作为脆肉鲩脆化程度的划分标准,并实验研究了不同水温、水流速度、水化学因子和蚕豆饲料投喂量等因素对脆肉鲩生长和品质的影响。结果表明,以脆肉鲩不同部位组织热变性蛋白质的断裂应力δρ为指标的脆化程度主要由蚕豆饲料摄食量所决定,脆肉鲩养殖的良好条件为:放养规格1.50~2.00 kg/尾,放养密度150~170尾/666.7 m2,,水温在18℃以上;摄食量达到3.962~5.263 kg/kgbw时,可实现饲料系数约为6,脆化程度指标δρ为0.422~0.611 kg/cm2的合格商品脆肉鲩。水体水化学因子等环境条件只对草鱼脆化起间接辅助作用,它们通过改变草鱼的摄食量和营养(能量)转化率,影响机体正常的生理活动而导致草鱼肌肉蛋白合成与积累不同等表达出来,良好的水环境质量利于脆肉鲩养殖。普通鲩鱼脆化养殖的最佳养殖条件为适当的饲料投喂剂量(4.3kg/kgbw),适宜的水环境因子条件(水温(30±2)℃、DO≥5mg/L、pH在5.8~6.2之间)。为进一步完善脆肉鲩养殖生产操作流程,提高脆肉鲩养殖技术,合理调控投饲量和养殖水环境因子,从而提高脆肉鲩品质和养殖效益进行了讨论。  相似文献

The composition and abundance of the main zooplankton groups in Cleveland dam (less eutrophic) and Lake Chivero (more eutrophic) were studied. Samples were taken at two-month intervals. Rotifers were the most diverse zooplankton group in both reservoirs. Together with the copepods they formed the bulk of the zooplankton during summer. In this study, the subcellular localization, tissue distribution and response to grass carp reovirus (GCRV) infection and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation of four grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idellus toll‐like receptor 4 (tlr4) genes were investigated. All four genes were constitutively expressed in all tissues studied, but the subcellular localization and tissue exhibiting the highest expression differed for each protein. Following GCRV infection, all the four tlr4s were upregulated in all tissues examined, and stimulation of C. idellus kidney (CIK) cells with LPS resulted in downregulation of all four tlr4s. These results provide a foundation for further investigation of tlr4 genes in bony fishes.  相似文献

以G1组1×10^6 TCID50/mL、G2组1×10^3 TCID50/mL两种不同浓度草鱼呼肠孤病毒通过腹腔注射感染草鱼,G3组用草鱼呼肠孤病毒细胞灭活苗注射免疫草鱼,并设计对照组:用相同体积的PBS腹腔注射草鱼,分别在注射后1、2、7、14d取血清及肝脏,测定其酸性磷酸酶(ACP)、碱性磷酸酶(AKP)、髓过氧化物酶(MPO)、超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性,通过各项酶活力变化规律来研究病毒感染及疫苗免疫对草鱼非特异性免疫功能的影响。结果表明:ACP活性,与对照组比较血清中各处理组变化不显著,肝脏中大体呈现先降低后升高的趋势;AKP活性,血清中G1组呈现先升高后降低的趋势,G2、G3组呈现持续升高的趋势,肝脏中G1、G2组均呈现先降低再升高再降低的趋势,G3组呈现先升高再降低的趋势;MPO活性,血清中G1组呈上升趋势,G2组呈先升高再下降的趋势,G3组呈现升高再降低再升高的趋势,肝脏中G1组呈现先降低再升高再降低的趋势,G2组与G3组均呈现先升高再降低的趋势;SOD活性,血清中G1组呈现先升高再降低的趋势,G2组呈现升高的趋势,G3组呈现先高再降低再升高的趋势,肝脏中G1组呈现先升高后降低的趋势,G2组呈现降低的趋势,G3组呈现先降低后升高的趋势。结果显示:MPO及SOD两种酶活性在G1、G2及G3血清中变化趋势不一,说明这两种酶活性跟刺激物浓度及种类存在一定关系。  相似文献

Grass carp reovirus (GCRV) is a relatively new virus first isolated in China and is a member of the Aquareovirus genus of the Reoviridae family. Recent report of genomic sequencing showed that GCRV shared high degree of homology with mammalian reovirus (MRV). As a step of our effort to understand the structural basis of GCRV pathogenesis, we determined the three-dimensional (3D) structure of GCRV capsid at 17 Å resolution by electron cryomicroscopy. Each GCRV capsid has a multilayered organization, consisting of an RNAcore, an inner, middle and outer protein layer. The outer layer is made up of 200 trimers that are arranged on an incomplete T=13 icosahedral lattice. A characteristic feature of this layer is the depression resulting from the absence of trimers around the peripentonal positions, revealing the underlying trimers on the middle layer. There are 120 subunits in the inner layer arranged with T=1 symmetry. These structural features are common to other members of the Reoviridae. Moreover, SDS-PAGE analysis showed that GCRV virions contain seven structural proteins (VP1-VP7). These structural proteins have a high degree of sequence homology to MRV, consistent with the structural similarities observed in our study. The high structural similarities of isolated GCRV and MRV suggest that future structural studies focusing on GCRV entering into and replicating within its host cell are necessary in order to fully understand the structural basis of GCRV pathogenesis.  相似文献

The rate at which triploid grass carp, Ctenopharyngodon idella , consumed two plant species from different locations was measured and compared to the chemical composition of the plants. Grass carp fed on Elodea canadensis from three lakes at significantly different rates ( P > 0.001), but did not eat Elodea densa from two of the sites at different rates. Feeding rate of the grass carp was positively correlated to the concentration of calcium ( r = 0.976) and lignin ( r = 0.946), but negatively correlated to the content of iron ( r =−0.808), silica (r=-0.934) and cellulose ( r =−0.922). Multiple regression analysis revealed that calcium and cellulose content were the most important predictors of consumption rate. These experiments demonstrate that water chemistry may affect palatability and could in part be responsible for some of the discrepancies in grass carp consumption rate and preference studies.  相似文献

Lentic community structure varies across a size gradient of ponds and lakes with physical factors, such as pond drying, and biotic factors, such as fish predation, determining the species assemblage. We studied the effects of pond drying and fish absence on crustacean zooplankton across a gradient of pond sizes in a Texas grassland. We determined the species compositions and size distributions of crustacean zooplankton in 20 temporary and 18 permanent ponds in April after March rains had refilled the ponds. The surface areas of temporary and permanent ponds ranged from <0.01 to 0.21 ha and 0.04 to 13.8 ha, respectively, and temporary ponds were significantly smaller, on average, than permanent ponds. Fish were absent from all temporary ponds and present in all permanent ponds. We detected a difference in the zooplankton species assemblages of the temporary and permanent ponds. Out of 14 total zooplankton taxa that occurred in eight or more ponds, seven taxa were significantly more prevalent in temporary ponds and four taxa were significantly more prevalent in permanent ponds. The sizes of zooplankton in the temporary fishless ponds were greater than those in the permanent ponds with fish present. We concluded that pond size mediated susceptibility to pond drying, and pond drying determined the presence and absence of fish and their secondary trophic-level effect on zooplankton community structure. As an adipokine, coiled-coil domain-containing 3 (CCDC3) plays multiple physiological roles in fatty liver, lipid metabolism, and abdominal obesity. Grass carp was selected as the experimental animal in this study to investigate the roles of Ccdc3 in teleosts. Results showed that the open reading frame (ORF) of cloned ccdc3 was 831 bp and encoded 276 amino acids. Three N-glycosylation sites and a predicted coiled-coil domain motif were located in the identified Ccdc3. Moreover, a nuclear localization signal (NLS) was contained in the coiled-coil domain motif of the identified Ccdc3. The results on tissue distribution revealed that ccdc3 was highly detected in grass carp fat and brain tissue. In the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), the expression of ccdc3 increased remarkably in the brain, hypothalamus, and visceral fat in the glucose treatment group. In the fasting and refeeding experiment, the ccdc3 expression levels were remarkably reduced in the brain, hypothalamus, and visceral fat after 14 days of fasting. In the refeeding group, the ccdc3 expression levels were considerably elevated compared with those in the fasting group. In the induced overfeeding experiment, the ccdc3 expression increased remarkably in the hepatopancreas, brain, and visceral fat tissues. The ccdc3 expression in the primary hepatocytes was remarkably increased with glucose, oleic acid, and insulin treatment. However, ccdc3 expression was markedly decreased with glucagon treatment. In conclusion, these results indicate that Ccdc3 is involved in regulating glucose and lipid metabolism of teleosts.  相似文献

To study the impact of cyprinids on algae, zooplankton and physical and chemical water quality, ten drainable ponds of 0.1 ha (depth 1.3 m) were each divided into two equal parts. One half of each pond was stocked with 0 + cyprinids (bream, carp and roach of 10–15 mm), the other was free of fish. The average biomass of the 0 + fish at draining of the ponds was 466 kg ha–1, to which carp contributed about 80%.The fish and non-fish compartments showed significant differences. In the non-fish compartments the density of Daphnia hyalina was 10–30 ind. l–1 and that of Daphnia magna 2–4 ind. l-–1, whereas in the fish compartments densities were c. 1 ind. l–1. Cyclopoid copepods and Bosmina longirostris, however, showed higher densities in the fish compartments. The composition of algae in the two compartments differed only slightly, but the densities were lower in the non-fish compartments. The significant difference in turbidity was probably caused by resuspension of sediment by carp. No significant difference in nutrient concentration between the compartments was found.  相似文献

Summary Three new cell lines were established from tissues of the grass carp,Ctenopharyngodon idella. Derived from the fin, snout, and swim bladder of two apparently healthy diploid fry, these cell lines have been designated GCF, GCS-2, and GCSB, respectively. The cells grew at temperatures between 24° and 36° C with optimal growth at 32° C and have been subcultured more than 50 times since their initiation in August 1986. Two of the lines remained diploid or pseudodiploid after 38 passages. The cells were tested for microbial contamination, and plating efficiencies were determined. The three cell lines were sensitive toRhabdovirus carpio (RVC), infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV), golden shiner virus (GSV), chum salmon virus (CSV), and infectious pancreatic necrosis virus serotype VR299 IPNV). They were refractory to channel catfish virus (CCV), channel catfish reovirus (CRV), chinook salmon paramyxovirus (CSP), and an Ab serotype of IPNV.
