We hypothesized that pretreatment of an infarcted heart by mechanical transmyocardial revascularization (TMR) before transplantation of bone marrow cells (BMCs) or BMC-expressing angiogenic growth factors would increase transplanted BMC survival and enhance myocardial repair. Female Lewis rats underwent coronary ligation 3 wk before creation of 10 needle TMR channels (3 groups) or no TMR (3 groups), followed by transplantation of 3 x 10(6) male donor BMCs, BMC transfected with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) (BMC + VBI), or medium alone. At 1, 3, and 7 days, we evaluated transplanted cell survival, vascular densities, and left ventricular (LV) function (N = 4 per group x 6 groups x 3 time points). At 3 days, vascular densities in the scar were increased by TMR + BMC + VBI and by BMC + VBI (P < 0.05), and at 7 days, vascular densities were greatest in rats receiving TMR + BMC + VBI (P < 0.05). Transplanted cell survival at 3 and 7 days was increased by TMR and by BMC + VBI. Combined therapy with TMR + BMC + VBI resulted in the greatest cell survival at 3 days (P < 0.05) versus BMC. After 7 days, LV ejection fraction (LVEF) was lowest in rats receiving neither BMC nor TMR and greatest in rats receiving TMR + BMC + VBI (P = 0.004). We concluded that mechanical pretreatment of infarcted myocardium by TMR enhances the effect of subsequent cell-based gene therapy on transplanted cell survival, angiogenesis, and LV function. Scar pretreatment with TMR combined with cell-based multigene therapy may maximize myocardial repair.  相似文献

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a major health problem especially when associated to diabetes. Administration of autologous bone marrow cells (BMC) is emerging as a novel intervention to induce therapeutic angiogenesis in experimental ischemic limb models and in patients with PAD. Since tissue ischemia and diabetes are associated with an overwhelming generation of oxygen radicals and detrimental effects due to formation of glycosylation end-products, metabolic intervention with antioxidants and L-arginine can confer beneficial effects beyond those achieved by BMC alone. The effects of cotreatment with intravenous BMCs and metabolic vascular protection (1.0% vitamin E, 0.05% vitamin C, and 6% L-arginine) were examined in the ischemic hindlimb of diabetic and non diabetic mice. BMC therapy increased blood flow and capillary densities and Ki67 proliferative marker, and decreased interstitial fibrosis. This effect was amplified by metabolic cotreatment, an intervention inducing vascular protection, at least in part, through the nitric oxide pathway, reduction of systemic oxidative stress, and macrophage activation.  相似文献

Several recent studies have reported that bone marrow cells (BMCs) have the ability to generate functional hepatocytes. However, the efficiency at which BMC transplantation generates functional hepatocytes is rather low. We assumed that if BMCs accumulated directly in liver, the functional BMC-derived hepatocytes should increase efficiently. We tried to increase the accumulation of BMCs directly in liver through the interaction between hepatic asialoglycoprotein receptor and desialylated BMCs. Desialylated BMCs were produced with treatment of neuraminidase. Desialylated BMCs that expressed green fluorescent protein (GFP) were injected into Long Evans Cinnamon (LEC) rats, a human Wilson's disease model, intravenously. At 3 and 5 months after transplantation, GFP-expressing hepatocyte nodules appeared in the liver of these BMC-transplanted LEC rats. These findings suggest that the functional BMC-derived hepatocytes can be generated by the direct accumulation of BMCs and that this strategy is new BMC therapy for liver regeneration.  相似文献

We previously found that transplantation with bone marrow cells (BMCs) improves liver function and liver fibrosis in cirrhotic mice. In the presence of liver damage induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), transplanted BMC migrated into the peri-portal region and trans-differentiated into hepatocytes that produce albumin. Thus under these conditions, BMC transplantation induces liver regeneration. Detecting serum marker proteins is important to monitor the recovery of liver function of cirrhotic mice after BMC transplantation. We therefore initially resolved proteins extracted from serum samples at 48 h after BMC transplantation by 2-DE and compared spot intensity between control and BMC groups of mice. Six protein spots increased in the BMC group compared with the control group. MS revealed that these spots comprised apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1), apolipoprotein C3 (apoC3), vitamin D-binding protein, alpha-1-antitrypsin and proteasome subunit alpha type 1. We subsequently confirmed the levels of apoA1 in serum and liver samples by immunoblotting. ApoA1 increased at early stage (48 h and 1 wk) after BMC transplantation in this mouse model of liver cirrhosis. The early elevation of apoA1 might be useful to predict liver regeneration in cirrhotic mice after BMC transplantation.  相似文献

Recent clinical studies have demonstrated that intracoronary infusion of autologous bone marrow cells (BMC) in conjunction with standard treatment may improve left ventricular function after an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). However, the results of these studies remain controversial, as the studies were relatively small in size and partially differed in design. We reviewed primary controlled randomized clinical studies comparing intracoronary transfer of autologous non-mobilized BMC combined with standard therapy versus standard therapy alone in patients with AMI. We identified five randomized controlled clinical trials, three of which were also placebo- and bone marrow aspiration-controlled. Non-mobilized BMC were infused into the revascularized coronary target artery 6.6 +/- 6.1 days after AMI. The mean follow- up period of 5.2 +/- 1.1 months was completed by 482 patients, 241 of which received infusion of BMC. The effect of BMC on left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) as a major functional parameter was evaluated. Analyzing the overall effect on the change in LVEF between baseline and follow-up value revealed a significant improvement in the BMCtreated group as compared to the control group (P = 0.04). Thus, considering the increase in LVEF during follow-up, transplantation of BMC may be a safe and beneficial procedure to support treatment of AMI. However, the functional improvement observed with this form of therapy was altogether relatively moderate and the studies were heterogeneous in design. Hence, further efforts aiming at large-scale, double-blind, randomized and placebo-controlled multi-center trials in conjunction with better definition of patients, which benefit from BMC infusion, appear to be warranted.  相似文献

The plasticity of bone marrow cells (BMCs) remains controversial. The present study found that persistent injury induces efficient trans-differentiation of BMCs into functional hepatocytes. Mice with liver cirrhosis induced by carbon tetrachloride were injected with 1 x 10(5) non-treated green fluorescent protein (GFP)-positive BMCs via the tail vein. In these mice, transplanted GFP-positive BMCs efficiently migrated into the peri-portal area of liver lobules after one day, repopulating 25% of the recipient liver by 4 weeks. In contrast, no GFP-positive BMCs were detected following transplantation into control mice with undamaged livers. BMCs trans-differentiated into functional mature hepatocytes via immature hepatoblasts. Serum albumin levels were significantly elevated to compensate for chronic liver failure in BMC transplantation. These results reveal that recipient conditions and microenvironments represent key factors for successful cell therapy using BMCs.  相似文献

The transplantation of bone marrow cells (BMCs) has been applied in liver regenerative cell therapy. However, details of the interaction between the transplanted BMCs and hepatic stem cells have not been elucidated. The aim of the present study was to investigate the interaction of BMCs with hepatic stem-like cells (HSLCs) and to determine the BMC factor that steers HSLC differentiation into the hepatocyte lineage. Both BMCs and HSLCs were obtained from an adult Sprague-Dawley rat, and a co-culture system was established. Cell proliferation was analyzed by a proliferation assay, and the differentiation of HSLCs into the hepatocyte lineage was evaluated by the detection of cellular mRNA for liver-specific proteins. DNA microarray analysis was applied to BMCs co-cultured with HSLCs to determine the genes upregulated by their interaction. The proliferation of HSLCs co-cultured with BMCs was significantly higher than that of HSLCs cultured alone, and the expression of mRNAs for both albumin and tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase was detectable in the co-cultured HSLCs. DNA microarray analysis showed the upregulated expression of fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) mRNA in BMCs co-cultured with HSLCs, and the expression of mRNAs for both albumin and tyrosine aminotransferase became detectable in HSLCs cultured with FGF2. Thus, BMCs stimulate both the proliferation of HSLCs and their differentiation into the hepatocyte lineage. FGF2 is one of the factors that is produced by the interacting BMCs and that stimulates this differentiation.  相似文献

Background aimsCurrently, there is no treatment for decompensated liver cirrhosis except for liver transplantation. The safety and effect on liver function of a transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) with and without autologous bone marrow cell (BMC) infusion in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis were determined.MethodsTen patients who were diagnosed with decompensated liver cirrhosis during the period from September 2011 to July 2012 were enrolled in this study. The patients underwent TIPS (TIPS group) or combined treatment with TIPS and BMC infusion through the hepatic artery (TIPS+BMC group). All patients were monitored for adverse events, liver function and complications caused by portal hypertension during a period of 52 weeks.ResultsThe number of infused BMCs was 2.65 ± 1.20 ×109. Significant improvements in the serum levels of albumin and total bilirubin and decreased Child-Pugh scores were observed in patients treated with both TIPS and BMCs (P < 0.05), whereas no such changes were observed in the TIPS group. Endoscopic findings showed that varices in the esophagus and the gastric fundus were alleviated after either treatment. All 10 patients showed a complete or partial resolution of ascites at 4 weeks. No major adverse effects were noted during the follow-up period for patients in either group.ConclusionsTIPS combined with BMC infusion is clinically safe; the treatment improved liver function and alleviated complications caused by portal hypertension; therefore, this combination has potential for treatment of patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis.  相似文献

Transplantation of unfractionated bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMCs) repairs and/or regenerates the damaged myocardium allegedly due to secretion from surviving BMCs (paracrine effect). However, donor cell survival after transplantation is known to be markedly poor. This discrepancy led us to hypothesize that dead donor BMCs might also contribute to the therapeutic benefits from BMC transplantation. High mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) is a nuclear protein that stabilizes nucleosomes, and also acts as a multi-functional cytokine when released from damaged cells. We thus studied the role of extracellular HMGB1 in the effect of BMC transplantation for heart failure. Four weeks after coronary artery ligation in female rats, syngeneic male BMCs (or PBS only as control) were intramyocardially injected with/without anti-HMGB1 antibody or control IgG. One hour after injection, ELISA showed that circulating extracellular HMGB1 levels were elevated after BMC transplantation compared to the PBS injection. Quantitative donor cell survival assessed by PCR for male-specific sry gene at days 3 and 28 was similarly poor. Echocardiography and catheterization showed enhanced cardiac function after BMC transplantation compared to PBS injection at day 28, while this effect was abolished by antibody-neutralization of HMGB1. BMC transplantation reduced post-infarction fibrosis, improved neovascularization, and increased proliferation, while all these effects in repairing the failing myocardium were eliminated by HMGB1-inhibition. Furthermore, BMC transplantation drove the macrophage polarization towards alternatively-activated, anti-inflammatory M2 macrophages in the heart at day 3, while this was abolished by HMGB1-inhibition. Quantitative RT-PCR showed that BMC transplantation upregulated expression of an anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in the heart at day 3 compared to PBS injection. In contrast, neutralizing HMGB1 by antibody-treatment suppressed this anti-inflammatory expression. These data suggest that extracellular HMGB1 contributes to the effect of BMC transplantation to recover the damaged myocardium by favorably modulating innate immunity in heart failure.  相似文献

Bacterial microcompartments (BMCs) are proteinaceous organelles encapsulating enzymes that catalyze sequential reactions of metabolic pathways. BMCs are phylogenetically widespread; however, only a few BMCs have been experimentally characterized. Among them are the carboxysomes and the propanediol- and ethanolamine-utilizing microcompartments, which play diverse metabolic and ecological roles. The substrate of a BMC is defined by its signature enzyme. In catabolic BMCs, this enzyme typically generates an aldehyde. Recently, it was shown that the most prevalent signature enzymes encoded by BMC loci are glycyl radical enzymes, yet little is known about the function of these BMCs. Here we characterize the glycyl radical enzyme-associated microcompartment (GRM) loci using a combination of bioinformatic analyses and active-site and structural modeling to show that the GRMs comprise five subtypes. We predict distinct functions for the GRMs, including the degradation of choline, propanediol, and fuculose phosphate. This is the first family of BMCs for which identification of the signature enzyme is insufficient for predicting function. The distinct GRM functions are also reflected in differences in shell composition and apparently different assembly pathways. The GRMs are the counterparts of the vitamin B12-dependent propanediol- and ethanolamine-utilizing BMCs, which are frequently associated with virulence. This study provides a comprehensive foundation for experimental investigations of the diverse roles of GRMs. Understanding this plasticity of function within a single BMC family, including characterization of differences in permeability and assembly, can inform approaches to BMC bioengineering and the design of therapeutics.  相似文献

Determining which time point is optimal for bone marrow-derived cell (BMC) transplantation for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) has attracted a great deal of attention. Studies have verified the interaction between cell treatment effect and transfer timing and have suggested that the optimal time frame for BMC therapy is day 4 to day 7 after AMI. However, the potential mechanism underlying the time-dependent therapeutic response remains unclear. Recently, a growing body of in vitro evidence has suggested that stem cells are able to feel and respond to the stiffness of their microenvironment to commit to a relevant lineage, indicating that soft matrices that mimic brain are neurogenic, stiffer matrices that mimic muscle are myogenic and comparatively rigid matrices that mimic collagenous bone prove osteogenic. Simultaneously, considering the fact that the myocardium post-infarction experiences a time-dependent stiffness change from flexible to rigid as a result of myocardial remodelling following tissue necrosis and massive extracellular matrix deposition, we presume that the myocardial stiffness within a certain time frame (possibly day 4–7) post-AMI might provide a more favourable physical microenvironment for the phenotypic plasticity and functional specification of engrafted BMCs committed to some cell lineages, such as endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells or cardiomyocytes. The beneficial effect facilitates angiogenesis and myocardiogenesis in the infarcted heart, and subsequently leads to more amelioration of cardiac functions. If the present hypothesis were true, it would be of great help to understand the mechanism underlying the optimal timing for BMC transplantation and to establish a direction for the time selection of cell therapy.  相似文献

We previously reported a new in vivo model named as "GFP/CCl(4) model" for monitoring the transdifferentiation of green fluorescent protein (GFP) positive bone marrow cell (BMC) into albumin-positive hepatocyte under the specific "niche" made by CCl(4) induced persistent liver damage, but the subpopulation which BMCs transdifferentiate into hepatocytes remains unknown. Here we developed a new monoclonal antibody, anti-Liv8, using mouse E 11.5 fetal liver as an antigen. Anti-Liv8 recognized both hematopoietic progenitor cells in fetal liver at E 11.5 and CD45-positive hematopoietic cells in adult bone marrow. We separated Liv8-positive and Liv8-negative cells and then transplanted these cells into a continuous liver damaged model. At 4 weeks after BMC transplantation, more efficient repopulation and transdifferentiation of BMC into hepatocytes were seen with Liv8-negative cells. These findings suggest that the subpopulation of Liv8-negative cells includes useful cells to perform cell therapy on repair damaged liver.  相似文献

Bone-protective effects of combined treatment with long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFAs) and estrogenic compounds following ovariectomy have previously been reported. Recent evidence suggests the n-3 LCPUFA docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, 22:6n-3) is particularly bone-protective. The aim of this study was to determine whether combined treatment with DHA and estrogenic compounds has a beneficial effect on bone mass in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. Rats were randomized into 9 groups and either ovariectomized (8 groups) or sham-operated (1 group). Using a 2 x 4 factorial design approach, OVX animals received either no estrogenic compound, genistein (20 mg/kg body weight/day), daidzein, (20 mg/kg body weight/day) or 17 beta-estradiol (1 microg/day) with or without DHA (0.5 g/kg body weight/day) for 18 weeks. Bone mineral content (BMC), area (BA), and density (BMD), plasma osteocalcin and IL-6 concentrations, and red blood cell (RBC) fatty acid composition were measured. Femur BMC was significantly greater in animals treated with DHA or 17 beta-estradiol than in ovariectomized controls. Plasma carboxylated osteocalcin was significantly higher in DHA-treated animals and total osteocalcin significantly lower in 17 beta-estradiol-treated animals compared with ovariectomized controls. There were significant interactions between treatment with estrogenic compounds and DHA for femur BMC, plasma IL-6 concentration, and RBC fatty acid composition. Combined treatment with 17beta-estradiol+DHA was more effective than either treatment alone at preserving femur BMC and lowering circulating concentrations of pro-inflammatory IL-6. The percentage of n-3 LCPUFAs in RBCs was significantly greater in animals receiving 17 beta-estradiol+DHA compared with either treatment alone. There was no beneficial effect of combined DHA and phytoestrogen treatment on bone. Results from this study raise the possibility that co-treatment with 17 beta-estradiol and DHA may allow a lower dose of 17 beta-estradiol to be used to provide the same bone-protective effects as when 17 beta-estradiol is administered alone.  相似文献

The mechanism that regulates the plasticity of bone marrow cells (BMCs) into hepatocytes is poorly understood. We developed a green fluorescent protein/carbon tetrachloride model to find that BMC transplantation recovered liver damage. Serum albumin level and liver fibrosis were recovered by BMC transplantation. To understand the mechanism, we used DNA-chip technology to profile the change of transient gene expression before and after BMC transplantation. On the basis of gene expression with self-organizing map using specific equation, genes were classified into 153 clusters. The information is useful to understand the dramatic gene activation during the process of the plasticity of BMC.  相似文献

The therapeutic potential of stem cells in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is not well known although stem cell therapy is effective in models of other pulmonary diseases. We tested the capacities of bone marrow cells (BMCs), mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and conditioned media of MSCs (MSC-CM) to repair cigarette smoke-induced emphysema. Inbred female Lewis rats were exposed to cigarette smoke for 6 mo and then received BMCs, MSCs, or MSC-CM from male Lewis rats. For 2 mo after injection, the BMC treatment gradually alleviated the cigarette smoke-induced emphysema and restored the increased mean linear intercept. The BMC treatment significantly increased cell proliferation and the number of small pulmonary vessels, reduced apoptotic cell death, attenuated the mean pulmonary arterial pressure, and inhibited muscularization in small pulmonary vessels. However, only a few male donor cells were detected from 1 day to 1 mo after BMC administration. The MSCs and cell-free MSC-CM also induced the repair of emphysema and increased the number of small pulmonary vessels. Our data show that BMC, MSCs, and MSC-CM treatment repaired cigarette smoke-induced emphysema. The repair activity of these treatments is consistent with a paracrine effect rather than stem cell engraftment because most of the donor cells disappeared and because cell-free MSC-CM also induced the repair.  相似文献

The gene systems that encode functional bacterial microcompartments (BMCs) are typically comprised of between 10–23 genes, often in a contiguous operon. BMC genes can be studied as whole native operons or as subsets of genes that form structures for specific applications. Recent examples of such studies highlight the flexible modular nature of BMC operons/genes and the options that exist to harness their functions via manipulation at the DNA level. This work also demonstrates the transfer and functional expression of BMC operons/genes across bacterial species. Recombineering, DNA synthesis technology, and advanced cloning techniques have all been applied in creative ways to study the nature of BMC mechanism and function.  相似文献

There has been no improvement in the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM) during the last decades and two meta-analyses of randomized trials recorded no significant survival benefit for combination chemotherapy compared to the classic melphalan-prednisone combination. However the past 15 years has seen several innovative strategies which have dramatically modified the management of MM. In younger patients, high-dose therapy with autologous stem cell transplantation is considered to be superior to conventional chemotherapy and is used as part of front-line therapy. A number of issues have been addressed in recent trials in order to improve the results of autologous transplantation (source of stem cells, conditioning regimen, impact of double transplants, maintenance therapy). Bisphosphonates reduce the incidence of skeletal-related events and improve the quality of life. Recombinant erythropoietin reduces red blood cell transfusion need and improves the quality of life. Thalidomide has been introduced more recently. Phase II studies with thalidomide alone or combined with dexamethasone have shown impressive response rates and this drug is currently being evaluated as part of front-line therapy. Finally, analysis of prognostic factors such as beta 2 microglobulin and cytogenetics define subgroups of patients with a completely different outcome and help the process of selecting therapeutics strategies.  相似文献

Background

A characteristic feature of atherosclerosis is its diffuse involvement of arteries across the entire human body. Bone marrow cells (BMC) can be simultaneously transferred with therapeutic genes and magnetic resonance (MR) contrast agents prior to their transplantation. Via systemic transplantation, these dual-transferred BMCs can circulate through the entire body and thus function as vehicles to carry genes/contrast agents to multiple atherosclerosis. This study was to evaluate the feasibility of using in vivo MR imaging (MRI) to monitor BMC-mediated interleukin-10 (IL-10) gene therapy of atherosclerosis.

Methodology

For in vitro confirmation, donor mouse BMCs were transduced by IL-10/lentivirus, and then labeled with a T2-MR contrast agent (Feridex). For in vivo validation, atherosclerotic apoE−/− mice were intravenously transplanted with IL-10/Feridex-BMCs (Group I, n = 5) and Feridex-BMCs (Group II, n = 5), compared to controls without BMC transplantation (Group III, n = 5). The cell migration to aortic atherosclerotic lesions was monitored in vivo using 3.0T MRI with subsequent histology correlation. To evaluate the therapeutic effect of BMC-mediated IL-10 gene therapy, we statistically compared the normalized wall indexes (NWI) of ascending aortas amongst different mouse groups with various treatments.

Principal Findings

Of in vitro experiments, simultaneous IL-10 transduction and Feridex labeling of BMCs were successfully achieved, with high cell viability and cell labeling efficiency, as well as IL-10 expression efficiency (≥90%). Of in vivo experiments, MRI of animal groups I and II showed signal voids within the aortic walls due to Feridex-created artifacts from the migrated BMCs in the atherosclerotic plaques, which were confirmed by histology. Histological quantification showed that the mean NWI of group I was significantly lower than those of group II and group III (P<0.05).

Conclusion

This study has confirmed the possibility of using MRI to track, in vivo, IL-10/Feridex-BMCs recruited to atherosclerotic lesions, where IL-10 genes function to prevent the progression of atherosclerosis.  相似文献

We previously reported that fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) facilitated the differentiation of transplanted bone marrow cells (BMCs) into hepatocytes. Our earlier study also demonstrated that administration of FGF2 in combination with bone marrow transplantation (BMT) synergistically activated tumor necrosis factor-alpha signaling and significantly improved liver function and prognosis more than BMT alone. However, the way that it affected the extracellular matrix remained unclear. Here, we investigated the effect of FGF2 treatment together with BMT on liver fibrosis in mice treated with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4). Transplantation of BMCs and concurrent treatment with FGF2 caused a statistically significant reduction in CCl4-induced liver fibrosis that was accompanied by strong expression of matrix metalloproteinase 9 as compared with FGF2-only treatment or BMT alone. Moreover, in this process, the proliferation of bone-marrow-derived cells was accelerated without causing apoptosis. Thus, the administration of FGF2 in combination with BMT synergistically improves CCl4-induced liver fibrosis in mice. This treatment has the potential of being an effective therapy for patients with liver cirrhosis. The chemokine stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) plays a critical role in mobilizing precursor cells in the bone marrow and is essential for efficient vascular regeneration and repair. We recently reported that calcium augments the expression of chemokine receptor CXCR4 and enhances the angiogenic potential of bone marrow derived cells (BMCs). Neovascularization is impaired by aging therefore we suggested that aging may cause defects of CXCR4 expression and cellular responses to calcium. Indeed we found that both the basal and calcium-induced surface expression of CXCR4 on BMCs was significantly reduced in 25-month-old mice compared with 2-month-old mice. Reduced Ca-induced CXCR4 expression in BMC from aged mice was associated with defective calcium influx. Diminished CXCR4 surface expression in BMC from aged mice correlated with diminished neovascularization in an ischemic hindlimb model with less accumulation of CD34(+) progenitor cells in the ischemic muscle with or without local overexpression of SDF-1. Intravenous injection of BMCs from old mice homed less efficiently to ischemic muscle and stimulated significantly less neovascularization compared with the BMCs from young mice. Transplantation of old BMCs into young mice did not reconstitute CXCR4 functions suggesting that the defects were not reversible by changing the environment. We conclude that defects of basal and calcium-regulated functions of the CXCR4/SDF-1 axis in BMCs contribute significantly to the age-related loss of vasculogenic responses.  相似文献
