This study was designed to investigate the expression of short‐chain acyl‐CoA dehydrogenase (SCAD), a key enzyme of fatty acid β‐oxidation, during rat heart development and the difference of SCAD between pathological and physiological cardiac hypertrophy. The expression of SCAD was lowest in the foetal and neonatal heart, which had time‐dependent increase during normal heart development. In contrast, a significant decrease in SCAD expression was observed in different ages of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). On the other hand, swim‐trained rats developed physiological cardiac hypertrophy, whereas SHR developed pathological cardiac hypertrophy. The two kinds of cardiac hypertrophy exhibited divergent SCAD changes in myocardial fatty acids utilization. In addition, the expression of SCAD was significantly decreased in pathological cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, however, increased in physiological cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. SCAD siRNA treatment triggered the pathological cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, which showed that the down‐regulation of SCAD expression may play an important role in pathological cardiac hypertrophy. The changes in peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor α (PPARα) was accordant with that of SCAD. Moreover, the specific PPARα ligand fenofibrate treatment increased the expression of SCAD and inhibited pathological cardiac hypertrophy. Therefore, we speculate that the down‐regulated expression of SCAD in pathological cardiac hypertrophy may be responsible for ‘the recapitulation of foetal energy metabolism’. The deactivation of PPARα may result in the decrease in SCAD expression in pathological cardiac hypertrophy. Changes in SCAD are different in pathological and physiological cardiac hypertrophy, which may be used as the molecular markers of pathological and physiological cardiac hypertrophy.  相似文献

Swift switching, along with atypical ability on updating and inhibition, has been found in non-clinical dissociators. However, whether swift switching is a cognitive endophenotype that intertwines with traumatisation and pathological dissociation remains unknown. Unspecified acute psychiatric patients were recruited to verify a hypothesis that pathological dissociation is associated with swift switching and traumatisation may explain this relationship. Behavioural measures of intellectual function and three executive functions including updating, switching and inhibition were administered, together with standardised scales to evaluate pathological dissociation and traumatisation. Our results showed superior control ability on switching and updating in inpatients who displayed more symptoms of pathological dissociation. When all three executive functions were entered as predictors, in addition to intellectual quotient and demographic variables to regress upon pathological dissociation, switching rather than updating remained the significant predictor. Importantly, the relationship between pathological dissociation and switching became non-significant when the effect of childhood trauma were controlled. The results support a trauma-related switching hypothesis which postulates swift switching as a cognitive endophenotype of pathological dissociation; traumatisation in childhood may explain the importance of swift switching.  相似文献

In experiments with defensive behaviour, using multiparametric recording of indices, studies have been made on the origin and development of pathological disturbances in the higher nervous activity of insectivores, carnivores and primates during presentation of difficult conditioned reflex problems or extreme stimulation. It was found that elaboration of absolute differentiation retarded conditioned reactions with a delay of 25 s in insectivores is a difficult task which results in pathological changes in the higher nervous activity. In hedgehogs, neurotic changes are immediate, all the investigated indices being affected. In carnivores, especially in primates, the onset of evident pathological changes is preceded by a long preneurotic period, i.e. a stage of self-regulation. In pathological process, more corticalized forms of the nervous activity are initially involved. Common features and differences in the development of pathological changes in the higher nervous activity among mammals are discussed.  相似文献

本文报道55例高复制型慢性乙型肝炎患者血清HBV复制指标与肝脏病变的关系。55例均为血清HBsAg、HBeAg及抗-HBc阳性,部分病例血清HBcAg、DNAP、HBV-DNA阳性,均作肝穿活检,病理报告CAH5例、CLH9例、CPH41例,前二者组成A组,代表病变活动组;CPH称B组,代表病变稳定组。结果显示A组各项肝脏病变在HBV复制情况下检出率普遍高于B组;ALT异常时肝脏各项病变检出率达80%以上者A组也多于B组,而且A组出现4例碎片状坏死、B组则无,显示乙肝病毒复制程度与肝脏病变活动性、广泛程度、肝功能受损等情况密切相关,因而提示抗病毒治疗的必要性。  相似文献

观察了东方田鼠封闭群在不同年龄阶段各种病理学变化的特征,为建立东方田鼠相关标准创造条件。采用常规病理学技术,结合电镜方法,对不同年龄的46只封闭繁育的东方田鼠进行了研究和观察。结果封闭群东方田鼠的病理变化主要集中在肺脏与肝脏;个别东方田鼠有乳腺癌和隐睾,东方田鼠乳腺癌的电镜特征与昆明小鼠有所不同;封闭繁育的东方田鼠主要病变有8种;不同年龄的东方田鼠病变的发生率亦不相同。因此,封闭群东方田鼠应加强病理监测,根据病理监测结果,有目的地分离病原生物体。  相似文献

Pathological hyperphosphorylated tau is the principal component of paired helical filaments, a pathological hallmark of Alzheimer disease (AD) and a strong candidate for a neurotoxic role in AD and other neurodegenerative disorders. Here we show that heat shock protein 27 (Hsp27) preferentially binds pathological hyperphosphorylated tau and paired helical filaments tau directly but not non-phosphorylated tau. The formation of this complex altered the conformation of pathological hyperphosphorylated tau and reduced its concentration by facilitating its degradation and dephosphorylation. Moreover, Hsp27 rescues pathological hyperphosphorylated tau-mediated cell death. Therefore, Hsp27 is likely to provide a neuroprotective effect in AD and other tauopathies.  相似文献

目的通过对实验猴细菌性感染疾病脏器病理改变的观察和分析,完善实验猴病理检测资料,为实验动物病理检测标准的制定提供依据。方法选取86例实验猴按5种必检细菌性感染疾病(沙门菌病;志贺菌病;结核杆菌病;小肠结肠炎耶尔森菌病;空肠弯曲菌病)病原种类分组,对脏器标本进行病理剖检,HE染色观察记录病变,建立实验猴必检细菌性疾病病理检测资料。结果病理检测结果显示:沙门菌病表现为伤寒肉芽肿,结核杆菌病表现为结核肉芽肿,小肠结肠炎耶尔森菌病表现为纵行溃疡、急性炎及化脓性肉芽肿;志贺菌病、空肠弯曲菌病表现为急性炎和表浅溃疡。结论感染5种必检细菌的实验猴分别表现出不同的病理变化,病理检测对疾病的分析诊断有重要价值,检测结果补充了实验猴细菌性疾病病理检测资料,为制定实验动物病理检测指南提供了相关依据。  相似文献

目的评价电子阴道镜及宫颈病理活检对宫颈疾病的诊断价值。方法收集我院妇科门诊2003年至2006年宫颈疾病患者行阴道镜检查病行宫颈活检的病理结果进行对照分析。结果电子阴道镜检查后行宫颈活检1060例,病理结果显示:宫颈癌16例,宫颈上皮内瘤样变342例,宫颈炎性病变702例,阴道镜诊断宫颈上皮内瘤样变及宫颈癌的符合率分别为:93.44%和93.75%。结论阴道镜检查配合病理活检诊断宫颈疾病结果及时可靠,尤其对宫颈上皮内瘤样变的早诊断及降低宫颈癌的发生率有重要价值。  相似文献

目的:通过STR分型,对两例卵巢囊腺癌病理标本的组织细胞进行个体识别,以鉴别其中一例病理标本癌细胞是否源于污染。方法:对甲醛固定石蜡包埋组织,分别切片后在倒置显微镜下,用显微操作系统分离出不同形态的细胞团,对提取的DNA样本进行常规STR扩增检验。结果:经过STR分型比对,证实病理标本存在污染,其中一例的癌细胞来源于另一个体。结论:STR分型是用于病理石蜡包埋组织标本污染个体识别的有效手段。  相似文献

目的:比较CT和MRI在宫颈癌分期诊断中的临床应用价值。方法:回顾性分析宫颈癌患者96例,上述患者均有完整临床资料及术前CT和MRI检查结果,根据术后病理检查结果,比较两种检查方法影像学诊断、侵犯宫颈旁组织、侵犯子宫体、侵犯阴道、淋巴结转移的术前检查结果与病理诊断的符合率。结果:两种检查方法在宫颈癌Ⅰb期、Ⅱa期和Ⅱb期诊断符合率比较差异具有高度统计学意义(P〈0.01);宫颈癌Ⅲa期和Ⅲb期符合率比较,差异具有统计学意义(P〈0.05);宫颈癌Ⅳ期符合率比较,差异无统计学意义(P〉O.05);检查提示侵犯宫颈旁组织、侵犯子宫体与侵犯阴道与术后病理诊断符合率比较,差异具有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。结论:对于宫颈癌患者,术前应积极采取MRI检查方式,可提高诊断符合率,有利于对患者术后治疗的开展和预后的判断。  相似文献

Histological enamel defects have been used as indicators of childhood morbidity and nutritional inadequacy. However, the usefulness of these defects has been hampered by a lack of clear criteria for differentiating normal and defective enamel. This report demonstrates that the criteria of abnormal prism structure can accurately differentiate defective enamel (i.e., pathological bands) from normal enamel. In addition, pathological bands can be divided into three distinct subtypes: distorted structure bands, black spot pathological bands, and structureless pathological bands. It has been assumed that the patterning of pathological bands and enamel hypoplasia is the same for all populations. Comparisons between populations show that each population has its own unique pattern. It has also been assumed that striae of Retzius, pathological bands, and enamel hypoplasias represent three grades of severity of the same phenomenon. Correlations between these three features demonstrate instead that this patterning is possibly influenced by the morphology of the teeth.  相似文献

Cardiac hypertrophy from pathological stimuli often proceeds to heart failure, whereas cardiac hypertrophy from physiological stimuli does not. In this study, physiological hypertrophy was created by a daily exercise regimen and pathological hypertrophy was created from a high-salt diet in Dahl salt-sensitive rats. The rats continued on a high-salt diet progressed to heart failure associated with an increased rate of terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling-positive cardiomyocytes. We analyzed primary cultures of these hearts and found that only cardiomyocytes made hypertrophic by a pathological stimulus show increased sensitivity to apoptosis. Examination of the molecular changes associated with these distinct types of hypertrophy revealed changes in Bcl-2 family members and caspases favoring survival during physiological hypertrophy. However, in pathological hypertrophy, there were more diffuse proapoptotic changes, including changes in Fas, the Bcl-2 protein family, and caspases. Therefore, we speculate that this increased sensitivity to apoptotic stimulation along with proapoptotic changes in the apoptosis program may contribute to the development of heart failure seen in pathological cardiac hypertrophy.  相似文献

The dependence on hematocrit of whole blood viscoelasticity must be considered in order to compare pathological blood samples to normal ones. If one wants to calculate the measured values to a standard hematocrit value, the hematocrit dependence for the pathological sample must be available. As the latter however is unknown, the same dependence is assumed for both normal and pathological blood samples. To prove the validity of this assumption, hematocrit dependence of random blood samples from different diseases (cerebral and coronary vascular and myocardial disorders) were investigated. A statistical analysis showed the assumption as invalid. Therefore, it will be recommended to evaluate pathological blood samples at the measured hematocrit.  相似文献

血管新生发生于机体多种生理病理过程中,已成为诸多病理过程的标志之一。自噬参与调节机体血管新生。在病变组织中,自噬不仅与血管形成密切相关,而且经调节血管新生向病理组织提供必要的氧与能量。通过抑制自噬可以抑制缺氧、能量缺乏等刺激诱导的血管新生。血管新生过程中相关细胞因子参与调节自噬而影响新生血管的形成。通过二者的作用,既可以促进血管新生,也可抑制血管新生,这种机制在机体生理和病理过程中具有重要的作用。本文从自噬通过血管新生细胞因子促进血管新生以及自噬通过血管新生细胞因子抑制血管新生两个方面概述了自噬在血管新生过程中的作用,为疾病的治疗提供新的思路与方法。  相似文献

Pathological cardiac hypertrophy is an inevitable forerunner of heart failure. Regardless of the etiology of cardiac hypertrophy, cardiomyocyte mitochondrial alterations are always observed in this context. The translocases of mitochondrial outer membrane (Tom) complex governs the import of mitochondrial precursor proteins to maintain mitochondrial function under pathophysiological conditions; however, its role in the development of pathological cardiac hypertrophy remains unclear. Here, we showed that Tom70 was downregulated in pathological hypertrophic hearts from humans and experimental animals. The reduction in Tom70 expression produced distinct pathological cardiomyocyte hypertrophy both in vivo and in vitro. The defective mitochondrial import of Tom70-targeted optic atrophy-1 triggered intracellular oxidative stress, which led to a pathological cellular response. Importantly, increased Tom70 levels provided cardiomyocytes with full resistance to diverse pro-hypertrophic insults. Together, these results reveal that Tom70 acts as a molecular switch that orchestrates hypertrophic stresses and mitochondrial responses to determine pathological cardiac hypertrophy.  相似文献

目的:探讨血清高敏C-反应蛋白(hs-CRP)在儿童紫癜性肾炎(HSPN)临床分型与病理分级中的应用价值,为基层医院提供一个可评价HSPN患儿病情严重程度的实验室相关指标。方法:应用免疫比浊法检测210例HSPN患儿不同临床分型与病理分级中的血清hs-CRP的水平,并与住院的70例的正常儿童作对照组进行比较。采用Pearson秩相关分析得出HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平临床分型与及病理分级的关系。结果:HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平明显高于对照组(HSPN组6.4±3.5 mg/L,对照组0.7±0.1mg/L),差异有统计学意义(t=1.021,P=0.003)。HSPN患儿的血清hs-CRP水平与其临床分型的严重程度存在正相关(r=0.913,P〈0.05)。而HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平与其病理分级的关系也呈正相关(r=0.901,P〈0.05)。结论:随着HSPN患儿临床分型与病理分级的增高,其血清hs-CRP水平显著升高,HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平与其临床分型和病理分级之间均呈显著正相关,检测HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平可预测其临床分型和病理分级的程度,即HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平越高提示其临床分型和病理分级越重,因此检测HSPN患儿血清hs-CRP水平有助于评估HSPN患儿的病情、治疗效果和预后情况。  相似文献
