喜树原形成层到形成层转化的研究   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
观察了枣树茎中原形成层到形成层的转化过程。距茎端0.5mm处,节间开始伸长之前,横切面上4—5个原形成束及束间的分生组织组成原形成层环。径向切面观,原形成层环呈现出较均一的结构。随着节间开始伸长,由于原形成层细胞发生假横向分裂,出现了长短两类细胞,长细胞多数端壁倾斜,短细胞多数端壁平截。以后,长细胞发育为纺缍状原始细胞,短细胞发育为射线原始细胞,部分射线原始细胞可以伸长井侵入生长而转化为纺缍状原始细胞。在节间伸长将停止时,此种转化基本完成。喜树为非叠生形成层,纺缍状原始细胞和射线原始细胞都有多核现象发生。  相似文献

Time-lapse photomicrography and autoradiography were used to study the initial events leading to the first cell division following transfer from red to white light. The first responses to white light, an apical swelling and a reduced rate of elongation, were often observed within the first 1–2 hr after the transfer; these two changes were not always initiated at the same time. Only the dome region of the cell participated in the elongation in red, as demonstrated by the displacement of anion exchange resin markers. The dome region as well as the region proximal to the dome was associated with the apical swelling, including regions formed in red. The average duration of the G1, S, G2, and M phases was found to be approximately 4, 3, 3.5, and 1 hr, respectively.  相似文献

We studied energetics and food utilization in young elephant seals as they were first introduced to solid food following their long post-weaning fast. Using radioactive tracer techniques, we monitored changes in body composition, protein metabolism, and metabolic rate during fasting and initial feeding. In fasting animals, fat stores supplied nearly all energetic requirements. In feeding animals, 49% of protein ingested was retained as body tissue, allowing protein mass to increase. Body fat was lost at rates comparable to rates in fasting animals and continued to fuel the bulk of metabolism. Weight loss was arrested when animals consumed 786 g/d, or 40 kcal/kg0.75/d, which was far less than their metabolic rates (63–206 kcal/kg 0.75 /d). Surprisingly, the young seals were able to maintain weight and store protein while energy intake was below metabolic needs. This was possible because animals gained weight as water; they retained wellhydrated proteinaceous tissue while losing poorly-hydrated adipose tissue.  相似文献

Gametophytes of the fern Pteridium aquilinum were incubated 3 days in red light and then transferred to white light. The sequence of events occurring after the transfer was as follows: a swelling of the apical region within 1 hr; a reduction in cell elongation after 5 hr; a series of one-dimensional cell divisions between 10-25 hr; and the initiation of two-dimensional gametophytes after 25-50 hr. The percentage of two-dimensional gametophytes was proportional to the logarithm of the intensity of white light. The rate of elongation after 5 hr was inversely proportional to the logarithm of the intensity. The rates of cell divisions for one- and two-dimensional gametophytes were proportional to intensity up to 240 and 120 ft-c, respectively.  相似文献

Two-dimensional (2-D) development of gametophytes of Pteridium aquilinum was estimated by the percentage of plants with at least one cell wall at an oblique angle, relative to the long axis. Inhibition of cell division per se was assayed by counting the cell number per filamentous (1-D) gametophyte. Specific concentrations of 8-azaguanine, 5-fluorouracil, p-fluorophenylalanine, actinomycin D, streptomycin, and cycloheximide were found to selectively inhibit 2-D development. A reduction in the percentage of 2-D gametophytes was accompanied by a reduction in the relative protein content (protein per dry weight). A comparable association was found only during the initial stages of 2-D development; after 5 days the relative protein content decreased as the percentage of 2-D gametophytes increased. Different intensities of white light resulted in a 10-fold difference in the percentage of 2-D plants with no alteration of the relative protein content. These results demonstrate that no strict relationship between 2-D development and relative protein content occurred in these gametophytes.  相似文献
