The mucins secreted from the colon carcinoma cell line COLO 205 have the MUC1 and CD43 (leukosialin) as core proteins, where both carry sialyl-Lewis a and MUC1 sialyl-Lewis x epitopes. The adhesion of E-selectin expressing CHO cells to the coated mucins was analyzed in a flow system revealing that the MUC1 mucin adhered better than the CD43 mucin. One reason could be their different glycosylation, a difference that was explored by analyzing the biosynthesis of MUC1 and CD43 in COLO 205 cells. Both the MUC1 and CD43 mucins became sialyl-Lewis a reactive, but after different times as revealed by pulse-chase studies. However, only MUC1 became sialyl-Lewis x reactive. These differences suggest that MUC1 and CD43 are synthesized in different compartments of the cell. It was also observed that the mucins from colon carcinoma patients had MUC1-type mucins that carried both sialyl-Lewis a and x epitopes and CD43-type sialyl-Lewis a mucins with only low levels of sialyl-Lewis x epitopes. One could hypothesize that colon carcinoma derived MUC1 is decorated with potent E-selectin epitopes, and that this could be one of several reasons for the involvement of MUC1 in cancer development.  相似文献

Two mucin-type glycoproteins detected by the monoclonal antibody C50, which reacts with the carcinoma-associated sialyl-Lewis a and sialyl-lactotetraose epitopes, were found in secreted and solubilized materials from the colon carcinoma cell line COLO 205. The larger glycoprotein (H-CanAg; heavy cancer antigen) was predominantly found in extracts of cells grown in vitro or as nude mice xenografts whereas the smaller species (L-CanAg; light cancer antigen) was the major component in spent culture medium and serum from grafted mice. Using detergent in the extraction buffer doubled the yield of H-CanAg, suggesting that this glycoprotein is membrane bound whereas the yield of L-CanAg was relatively unaffected. The two glycoproteins were purified from xenograft extracts and spent culture medium using perchloric acid precipitation, monoclonal antibody affinity purification, ion exchange chromatography, and gel filtration. Both glycoproteins were unaffected by reduction and alkylation in guanidine HCl. Using sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, relative molecular masses were estimated to be 600-800 kDa for H-CanAg and 150-300 kDa for L-CanAg. Carbohydrate analysis revealed that the CanAg glycoproteins were highly glycosylated (81-89% carbohydrate by weight), carrying carbohydrate chains with average lengths of 13-18 sugars which were rich in fucose and sialic acid (2-3 residues/chain for each sugar). L-CanAg isolated from spent medium was glycosylated to a higher degree than its counterpart from xenograft extract. Immunochemical studies of the intact glycoproteins showed that both H-CanAg and L-CanAg expressed the monoclonal antibody-defined, sialic acid-containing carbohydrate epitopes CA203 and CA242 as well as the Lewis a blood group antigen whereas only H-CanAg appeared to carry the sialyl-Lewis x epitope. The amino acid compositions were typical of mucins, containing high amounts of serine, threonine (more than 25% together), and proline (11-18%). Significant differences in amino acid composition between H-CanAg and L-CanAg were found. A rabbit antiserum against the cytoplasmic C-terminal part of the MUC1 gene product, core protein of the carcinoma-associated polymorphic epithelial mucin (PEM) and DU-PAN-2, reacted with H-CanAg. After deglycosylation with trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, H-CanAg but not L-CanAg was recognized by the monoclonal antibodies SM-3 and HMFG-2, directed to the tandem repeat of the PEM apoprotein. However, these antibodies which react with PEM from mammary carcinomas without prior deglycosylation were unable to recognize intact H-CanAg, probably as a consequence of a more extensive glycosylation of this glycoprotein.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 400 WORDS)  相似文献

E-selectin, expressed on endothelial cells, mediates adhesion of leukocytes and tumor cells to endothelium. CA19-9 (sialyl-Lewis(a)) and sialyl-Lewis(x) are specific ligands for E-selectin. We have recently shown that mucin-rich culture media from human gallbladder epithelial cells contains CA19-9. In this study, we have tested whether human biliary mucin binds to E-selectin. The ability of mucins to inhibit the adhesion of HL-60 cells to immobilized E-selectin was taken as an index for E-selectin binding. Gallbladder bile, hepatic bile, and culture medium from human gallbladder epithelial cells completely inhibited the adhesion of HL-60 cells to E-selectin. The mucin-rich fractions of human bile exhibited strong inhibition, whereas mucin-free fractions had little effect. In contrast to human bile samples, CA19-9-free medium from cultured dog gallbladder epithelial cells failed to inhibit HL-60 binding. Furthermore, after CA19-9 immunoaffinity chromatography, which selectively extracted CA19-9 from bile, bile samples showed poor inhibition of HL-60 adhesion to immobilized E-selectin. A good correlation was observed between E-selectin binding and CA 19-9 concentrations in bile. Our results show that human bile has E-selectin binding activity that is mediated by the CA19-9 side chain of biliary mucin.  相似文献

E-selectin (previously known as ELAM-1) is one of the adhesion molecules expressed on activated endothelium. Here we show that HL-60 cells express sialyl-Le(x), but not Sialyl-Le(a) on their surface, a colon carcinoma cell line COLO 205 express both these epitopes and another colon carcinoma COLO 320 does not express either one of them. HL-60 and COLO 205 cell adhere strongly to E-selectin coated microwells, whereas COLO 320 does not adhere at all to E-selectin. Finally we provide evidence that monoclonal anti-sialyl-Le(x) can abolish part of the adherence of HL-60 cells to recombinant E-selectin. The adherence of COLO 205 cells can be decreased by either monoclonal anti-sialyl-Le(a) or anti-sialyl-Le(x) antibodies. These results indicate that cell-associated sialylated carbohydrate moieties can act as ligands for recombinant E-selectin.  相似文献

Mucins are macromolecules lying the cells in contact with external environment and protect the epithelium against constant attacks such as digestive fluids, microorganisms, pollutants, and toxins. Mucins are the main components of mucus and are synthesized and secreted by specialized cells of the epithelium (goblet cells, cells of mucous glands) or non mucin-secreting cells. Human mucin genes show common features: large size of their mRNAs, large nucleotide tandem repeat domains, complex expression both at tissular and cellular level. Since 1987, 21 MUC symbols have been used to designate genes encoding O-glycoproteins containing tandem repeat domains rich in serine, threonine and proline. Some of these genes encode true mucins while others encode non mucin adhesion O-glycoproteins. In this paper, we propose a classification based on sequence similarities and expression areas. Two main families can be distinguished: secreted mucins or gel-forming mucins (MUC2, MUC5AC, MUC5B, MUC6), and membrane-bound mucins (MUC1, MUC3, MUC4, MUC12, MUC17). Muc-deficient mice will provide important models in the study of functional relationships between these two mucin families.  相似文献

The gel-forming MUC5AC and MUC5B mucins have been identified as major components of human airway mucus but it is not known whether additional mucin species, possibly with other functions, are also present. MUC16 mucin is a well-known serum marker for ovarian cancer, but the molecule has also been found on the ocular surface and in cervical secretions suggesting that it may play a role on the normal mucosal surface. In this investigation, the LUM16-2 antiserum (raised against a sequence in the N-terminal repeat domain) recognized MUC16 in goblet and submucosal gland mucous cells as well as on the epithelial surface of human tracheal tissue suggesting that the mucin originates from secretory cells. MUC16 mucin was present in 'normal' respiratory tract mucus as well as in secretions from normal human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) cells. MUC16 from NHBE cells was a high-molecular-mass, monomeric mucin which gave rise to large glycopeptides after proteolysis. N- and C-terminal fragments of the molecule were separated on gel electrophoresis showing that the MUC16 apoprotein undergoes a cleavage between these domains, possibly in the SEA domain as demonstrated for other transmembrane mucins; MUC1 and MUC3. After metabolic labeling of NHBE cells, most of the secreted monomeric, high-molecular-mass [(35)S]sulphate-labelled molecules were immunoprecipitated with the OC125 antibody indicating that MUC16 is the major [(35)S]sulphate-labelled mucin in NHBE cell secretions.  相似文献

Pancreatic mucins consist of core proteins that are decorated with carbohydrate structures. Previous studies have identified at least two physically distinct populations of mucins produced by a pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell line (HPAF); one is the MUC1 core protein, which includes an oligosaccharide structure identified by a monoclonal antibody (MAb) recognizing the DU-PAN-2 epitope. In this study, we purified and characterized a second mucin fraction, which also shows reactivity with the DU-PAN-2 antibody, but which has an amino acid composition that is not consistent with the MUC1 core protein. This new mucin was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation, molecular sieve chromatography, and density gradient centrifugation. It eluted in the void volume of a Sepharose 4B column together with an associated low molecular weight protein, which could be further resolved. The mucin is highly polyanionic due to numerous sulfated and sialylated saccharide chains. Carbohydrate analyses of the purified mucin showed the presence of galactose, glucosamine, galactosamine, and sialic acid, but no mannose, glucose, or uronic acid. The purified and deglycosylated mucin shows no reactivity with anti-MUC1 apomucin antibody, but reacts with antiserum against deglycosylated tracheal mucins and antiserum against the MUC4 tandem repeat peptide. Analysis of mucin expression in HPAF cells revealed high levels of MUC1 and MUC4 mRNA, and moderate levels of MUC5AC and MUC5B mRNA. The amino acid composition of the purified mucin shows a high degree of similarity to the MUC4 core protein.  相似文献

Sialyl-Lewis x epitopes and MUC5AC protein are known to be overexpressed in mucins secreted by patients suffering from various respiratory diseases. To investigate the mechanisms by which airway inflammatory agents mediate the expression of sialyl-Lewis x epitopes and MUC5AC mucin, we examined the effects of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)- and epidermal growth factor (EGF) in the human lung carcinoma cell line, NCI-H292. Basal expression levels of hST3GalIV, FUT3 and C2/4GnT mRNA, involved in the biosynthesis of sialyl-Lewis x, were higher than those of other glycosyltransferases in NCI-H292 cells. TNF- induced expression of hST3GalIV, FUT3, C2/4GnT and MUC5AC mRNAs in NCI-H292 cells. When cells were pretreated with U73122, a phosphatidylinositol-phospholipase C (PI-PLC) inhibitor, the expression of these glycosyltransferase mRNAs was suppressed. Treating cells with EGF induced the down-regulation of these glycosyltransferase mRNAs and sialyl-Lewis x epitopes, while inducing an increase in expression of MUC5AC mRNA. These EGF-mediated effects on the glycosyltransferase and MUC5AC mRNAs were blocked when cells were first exposed to AG1478, an EGF receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor. These findings suggest that the expression of sialyl-Lewis x epitopes, which is regulated separately from the expression of MUC5AC protein, may be controlled through pathways such as the EGF receptor tyrosine kinase and PI-PLC signaling cascades in NCI-H292 cells. E-selectin is a cytokine-inducible, calcium-dependent endothelial cell adhesion molecule that plays a critical role in the leucocyte-endothelium interaction during inflammation and is thought to contribute to the metastatic dissemination of tumour cells. Like the other selectins, E-selectin binds to ligands carrying the tetrasaccharide sialyl-Lewis x (NeuAcalpha2,3Galbeta1,4[Fucalpha1, 3]GlcNAc)1 or its isomer sialyl-Lewis a (NeuAcalpha2, 3Galbeta1, 3[Fucalpha1,4]GlcNAc). We examined the effect of expressing the H-type alpha(1,2)-fucosyltransferase or the alpha(2, 6)-sialyltransferase on the synthesis of sialyl-Lewis x by alpha(1, 3)fucosyltransferase. We found that H-type alpha(1, 2)-fucosyltransferase but not alpha(2,6)-sialyltransferase, strongly inhibited sialyl-Lewis x expression and E-selectin adhesion. We assume that H-type alpha(1,2)-fucosyltransferase competes with the endogenous alpha(2,3)-sialyltransferase for the N-acetyllactosamine structures assigned to further serve as acceptors for alpha(1, 3)fucosyltransferase.  相似文献

Early-passage normal human tracheobronchial epithelial (NHTBE) cells grown in air-liquid interface cultures in medium containing retinoids differentiate into a mucociliary epithelium over a 2- to 3-wk period and express increasing mRNA levels of the airway mucin genes MUC5AC and MUC5B as the cultures age; the levels of MUC2 mRNA were very low throughout the study. Using specific antibodies to MUC5AC and MUC5B mucins, we noted a gradual increase in these two mucins in the intracellular and apically secreted pools as a function of time. A low level of MUC2 mucin was detected, which did not change with time. The intracellular and apically secreted mucins isolated from day 14 and day 21 cultures by density gradient centrifugation were similar in density to those previously isolated from human respiratory mucus secretions. The sedimentation rate of the apically secreted mucins indicated that they were highly oligomerized, polydisperse macromolecules similar to those previously documented from in vivo secretions. In contrast, the cell-associated mucins from the cultured NHTBE cells were much smaller, possibly only monomers and dimers. Anion-exchange chromatography detected no differences in charge density between the reduced and carboxymethylated cell-associated and secreted forms of the MUC5AC and MUC5B mucins. The MUC5AC mucin was of similar charge density to its in vivo counterpart; however, MUC5B was more homogeneous than that found in vivo. Finally, evidence is presented for an intracellular NH(2)-terminal cleavage of the MUC5B mucins. These studies indicate that the mucins produced by cultured NHTBE cells are similar to those found in human airways, suggesting that this cell culture model is suited for studies of respiratory mucin biosynthesis, processing, and assembly.  相似文献

Mucus of cystic fibrosis patients exhibits altered biochemical composition and biophysical behavior, but the causal relationships between altered cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) function and the abnormal mucus seen in various organ systems remain unclear. We used cultured gallbladder epithelial cells (GBEC) from wild-type and Cftr((-/-)) mice to investigate mucin gene and protein expression, kinetics of postexocytotic mucous granule content expansion, and biochemical and ionic compositions of secreted mucins. Muc1, Muc3, Muc4, Muc5ac, and Muc5b mRNA levels were significantly lower in Cftr((-/-)) GBEC compared with wild-type cells, whereas Muc2 mRNA levels were higher in Cftr((-/-)) cells. Quantitative immunoblotting demonstrated a trend toward lower MUC1, MUC2, MUC3, MUC5AC, and MUC5B mucin levels in Cftr((-/-)) cells compared with cells from wild-type mice. In contrast, the levels of secreted MUC1, MUC3, MUC5B, and MUC6 mucins were significantly higher from Cftr((-/-)) cells; a trend toward higher levels of secreted MUC2 and MUC5AC was also noted from Cftr((-/-)) cells. Cftr((-/-)) cells demonstrated slower postexocytotic mucous granule content expansion. Calcium concentration was significantly elevated in the mucous gel secreted by Cftr((-/-)) cells compared with wild-type cells. Secreted mucins from Cftr((-/-)) cells contained higher sulfate concentrations. Thus absence of CFTR is associated with pleiotropic effects on mucins in murine GBEC.  相似文献

The in vitro anti-proliferative properties of various supernatants from MUC1-expressing cell lines and of purified preparations of MUC1 were evaluated. We have observed that supernatants from the MUC1- and MUC3-positive cell line T47D, but not from the MUC1- and MUC4-positive cell line MCF7, were able to inhibit proliferation of cells from various haematopoietic cell lines. Although the activity of T47D supernatants could be abrogated by immunodepletion of MUC1, immunopurified MUC1 from T47D was unable to inhibit cell proliferation. Significantly, supernatants from mouse 3T3 cells transfected with a secreted form of MUC1 or from BHK-21 cells infected with a recombinant vaccinia virus coding for the secreted form of MUC1, as well as preparations of purified MUC1 from bile or urine, were likewise unable to inhibit T cell proliferation. Surprisingly, a crude mixture of bile mucins had a suppressive effect on T cell growth. Our results suggest that other molecules, such as amino sugars or other mucins, which can associate with MUC1, are likely to be responsible for the observed anti-proliferative effects of T47D cells. High molecular weight mucins were isolated and purified from human middle ear effusions of children with Otitis Media with Effusion (OME) classified into three groups, (1) thick and (2) thin from anatomically normal children and (3) effusions from cleft palate patients. Amino acid analyses of the purified mucins from the three pools were similar but not identical with characteristic contents of serine threonine and proline (32%, 28%, and 38% for pools (1) (2) and (3) respectively). Proteinase resistant glycopeptide fragments corresponding to the tandem repeat domains of cloned mucin genes showed marked differences both between the three mucin pools and with the composition of the tandem repeat sequences of the cloned mucin genes expressed in the airways. Studies on the antigenic identity of middle ear mucins found an epitope likely to be present on MUC5AC, but only accounting for a maximum of 15% by weight and no reactivity was found with antibodies to MUC2 or MUC1. A polyclonal antibody raised to thick effusion mucins reacted strongly with human salivary mucin suggesting the presence of MUC5B epitopes. These studies suggest that more than one mucin gene product is secreted by the human middle ear mucosa and that there may be further mucin genes expressed by the middle ear that have yet to be cloned.  相似文献

Bacterial inflammation in mucosa is accompanied by morphological and proliferative changes in goblet cells and mucin hypersecretion. Main stimulators of bacterial inflammation are bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). In vitro investigation of the LPS effect on the molecular processes in goblet cells, using the human mucin-secreting goblet cell line HT29-MTX, showed the following results. LPS up-regulated mucin and cytokine mRNA expression and secretion in goblet cells in a concentration and time-dependent manner, with a maximum output at an LPS concentration of 100 ng/ml. LPS (100 ng/ml) increased mRNA expression of MUC5AC (2.4x), MUC5B (2.1x), and IL-8 (2.3x) and stimulated secretion of mucins (MUC5AC up to 39%, MUC5B up to 31%) and the inflammatory cytokine IL-8 (up to 10x). A significant correlation was found between the LPS-induced IL-8 secretion and secretion of mucins. These results suggest: (1) goblet cells, responding to the direct stimulation of bacterial LPS by two inflammatory-related processes such as production and secretion of the gel-forming mucins and the inflammatory cytokine IL-8, can be considered as an important part of mucosal immunity and (2) LPS- induced goblet cell mucin secretion can occur partly via IL-8-dependent pathway.  相似文献

The MUC6 mucin was originally isolated from stomach mucus and is one of the major secreted mucins of the digestive tract. A full-length cDNA has not been isolated for this large molecule (greater than 15 kb) and it remains poorly studied. To circumvent the lack of reagents for investigating MUC6, we isolated a cDNA clone from a human fetal pancreatic duct cDNA library that encodes 282 amino acids of the MUC6 tandem repeat. A blast search with the sequence of this cDNA clone showed 90% homology with the original MUC6 (L07517) derived from a human stomach cDNA library and 95% homology both with AK096772, a MUC6-related protein isolated from a human prostate cDNA library and the human genome project clone AC083984. The MUC6 partial cDNA clone isolated from fetal pancreas was inserted into an epitope-tagged MUC1 mucin molecule in place of the native tandem repeat. This chimeric mucin was expressed in human pancreatic (Panc1) and colon (Caco2) carcinoma cell lines and purified for analysis of O-glycosylation by fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB-MS). The FAB-MS spectra showed O-glycans that had been detected previously on chimeric mucins carrying different tandem repeats, though the spectra for MUC1F/6TR mucins expressed in the Panc1 and Caco2 cells were very different. There was a paucity of O-glycosylation in Panc1 cells in comparison to Caco2 cells where many more structures were evident, and the most abundant glycans in Panc1 cells were sialylated.  相似文献

P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1) has been proposed as an important tethering ligand for E-selectin and is expressed at a modest level on human leukocytes. Sialyl Lewis x (sLex)-like glycans bind to E-selectin and are expressed at a relatively high level on circulating leukocytes. It is unclear whether PSGL-1 has unique biochemical attributes that contribute to its role as an E-selectin ligand. To probe this issue, we conjugated microspheres with either sLex or PSGL-1 purified from myeloid cells (neutrophils and HL-60) and compared their adhesion to endothelial expressed E-selectin under defined shear conditions. We found that both sLex and PSGL-1 microspheres adhere to 4 h of IL-1-activated human umbilical vein endothelial cells predominantly through E-selectin. Analysis of the adhesion revealed that the rate of initial tethering of the PSGL-1 microspheres to E-selectin was significantly greater than the rate of initial tethering of the sLex microspheres despite the fact that the sLex microspheres tested had higher ligand densities than the PSGL-1 microspheres. We also found that pretreatment of the PSGL-1 or sLex microspheres with HECA-452 had no significant effect on initial tethering to E-selectin. These results support the hypotheses that 1) PSGL-1 is a high-efficiency tethering ligand for E-selectin, 2) ligand biochemistry can significantly influence initial tethering to E-selectin, and 3) PSGL-1 tethering to E-selectin can occur via non-HECA-452 reactive epitopes. adhesion; leukocyte; inflammation  相似文献

A current challenge is to define the biological characteristics of colon tumor cells resistant to chemotherapy. Distinct sub-populations of mucus-secreting cells were previously obtained from the colon cancer cell line HT-29 after long-term treatment with the anti-cancer drugs, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and methotrexate (MTX). Since mucins are increasingly implicated as playing a role in carcinogenesis, we studied the pattern of mucin expression in two HT-29 clones of mucus-secreting and two clones of enterocyte-like phenotype which differ in their capacity to resist to 5-FU and/or MTX. The expression of both transmembrane (MUC1, MUC3, MUC4) and secreted gel-forming (MUC2, MUC5AC, MUC5B, MUC6) mucins in clones was studied by northern and/or western blotting. The four HT-29 clones showed three cellular phenotypes: (1) The mucus-secreting clone HT29-5F12 consists of unpolarized cells with mucus secretions that have anti-colonic mucin immunoreactivity, and mainly expresses MUC2 and is resistant to 5-FU and sensitive to MTX; (2) The mucus-secreting clone HT29-5M21 forms a monolayer of polarized cells with strong anti-gastric mucin immunoreactivity and mainly expresses MUC5AC and MUC5B and is resistant to MTX and sensitive to 5-FU; (3) The two enterocyte-like clones, HT29-5F7 and HT29-5M12 are resistant to both MTX and 5-FU and express mainly MUC1 and MUC5B, respectively. These clones which originate from a same colorectal tumour and display different patterns of mucin expression as well as differing resistance to MTX and 5-FU will make useful in vitro models for studying the potential role of mucins or other biological markers in drug resistance pathways.  相似文献

Mucins are important glycoproteins in the mucociliary transport system of the middle ear and Eustachian tube. Little is known about mucin expression within this system under physiological and pathological conditions. This study demonstrated the expression of MUC5B, MUC5AC, MUC4, and MUC1 in the human Eustachian tube, whereas only MUC5B mucin expression was demonstrated in noninflamed middle ears. MUC5B and MUC4 mucin genes were upregulated 4.2- and 6-fold, respectively, in middle ears with chronic otitis media (COM) or mucoid otitis media (MOM). This upregulation of mucin genes was accompanied by an increase of MUC5B- and MUC4-producing cells in the middle ear mucosa. Electron microscopy of the secretions from COM and MOM showed the presence of chainlike polymeric mucin. These data indicate that the epithelium of the middle ear and Eustachian tube expresses distinct mucin profiles and that MUC5B and MUC4 mucins are highly produced and secreted in the diseased middle ear. These mucins may form thick mucous effusion in the middle ear cavity and compromise the function of the middle ear.  相似文献

Rate-zonal centrifugation of a reduced and alkylated respiratory mucin preparation identified a protein-rich fraction. This was subjected to trypsin treatment and one of the many liberated peptides was purified and its N-terminal sequence determined. The peptide was identical to a 14 amino acid sequence from the scavenger receptor cysteine-rich domain containing glycoprotein gp-340. A polyclonal antiserum, raised against the peptide, stained the serous cells in the submucosal glands of human tracheal tissue. The glycoprotein was purified from respiratory mucus by density-gradient centrifugation, gel chromatography, and anion exchange chromatography. The molecule exhibited a heterogeneous distribution of buoyant density (1.28-1.46 g/ml) that overlapped with the gel-forming mucins, was included on Sepharose CL-2B and was quite highly anionic. SDS-PAGE indicated a mass greater than 208 kDa and measurements performed across the molecular size distribution indicated an average M(r) of 5 x 10(5) with a range of M(r) from 2 x 10(5) to 1 x 10(6). Gel chromatography of respiratory mucus extracts ("associative" and "dissociative") indicated that this glycoprotein forms complexes that may involve the large gel-forming mucins MUC5AC and MUC5B. Rate zonal centrifugation suggested such complexes are more likely to involve MUC5B rather than MUC5AC mucins.  相似文献
