The immunoglobulin alpha (IGHAC) and epsilon (IGHEC) germline constant region genes were isolated from a dog liver genomic DNA library. Sequence analysis indicates that the dog IGHEC gene is encoded by four exons spread out over 1.7 kilobases (kb). The IGHAC sequence encompasses 1.5 kb and includes all three constant region coding exons. The nucleotide sequence of a 9937 base-pair portion of human chromosome 9, which contains two complete leukocyte interferon genes (LeIF-L and J), the complete intergenic region, and part of a third related possible pseudogene (LeIF-M), has been determined. The coding regions of the L and J genes are separated by 4363 nucleotides. The coding regions for the putative L and J interferons are 96% homologous and are each surrounded by about 3500 nucleotides of flanking sequences, which are also highly homologous. The L and J genes and their respective flanking sequences comprise a 4000 nucleotide leukocyte interferon gene repeat unit; the L gene repeat unit contains two major insertions not present in the J gene repeat unit. The J gene repeat unit is flanked by sequence features reminiscent of those found surrounding transposable elements. Both the L and J gene repeat units are embedded within sequences that are highly repeated in the human genome. Structural features identified within this portion of chromosome 9 may have been important for the generation of this interferon gene cluster.  相似文献

 本文应用RNA序列分析直读技术测定了芹菜叶绿体核糖体4.5rRNA核苷酸顺序;5’_(OH)GAA GGUCACGGUGAGACGA GCCGUUUAUCA UUACGAUAGGUGUCUAGUGGAAGUGCAGU G AUGUAUGCA G CUGAGGCAUC CUAACAGACCGGCAGAUUU GAAC_(OH)3’。由103个核苷酸组成,5’-末端木磷酸化,与已知的几种植物叶绿体4.5S rRNA序列进行了同源性比较,发现不同植物4.5S rRNA序列之间有很大的保守性。我们在芹菜4.5S rRNA一级结构的基础上按碱基最大配对原则绘出了其二级结构。  相似文献

The complete nucleotide sequence encoding the major outer membrane protein (MOMP) of Chlamydia psittaci strain A22/M, responsible for enzootic abortion of ewes (EAE), has been determined. An 800bp Eco RI/ Xba I fragment containing a portion of the MOMP coding sequence from C. trachomatis serovar L1 was used to probe a λL47.1 genomic library constructed from DNA obtained from C. psittaci EAE A22/M. The recombinant L47.1/EA1 was selected and contained the entire C. psittaci MOMP gene within a 7.5 kb Bam HI fragment. The DNA sequence revealed an open reading frame encoding 402 amino acids, including a 22 amino acid signal peptide, which exhibited 17/22 conservation with the signal peptide of C. trachomatis MOMP. The calculated molecular mass of the C. psittaci MOMP was 43 kDa. A comparison of the MOMP genes of C. psittaci and C. trachomatis revealed only 34% nucleotide sequence homology, but 65% amino acid homology.  相似文献
