Tensiomyography (TMG) is a technique utilised to measure mechanical and contractile properties of skeletal muscle. Aim of this study was to assess long-term stability of TMG across a variety of muscle conditions. Gastrocnemius Medialis of 21 healthy males was measured using TMG in rested conditions, after a warm-up, after a maximal voluntary contraction and after a fatigue protocol. Participants were re-tested on a second occasion 4 weeks apart. Among the parameters examined, Contraction Time, Sustain Time and Delay time exhibited a good level of absolute reliability (CV = 3.8–9.4%) and poor to excellent level of relative reliability (ICC = 0.56–0.92). On the other hand, relative reliability was good to excellent for muscle Displacement (ICC = 0.86–0.96), whereas its level of absolute reliability was questionable (CV = 8.0–14.8%). Minimum detectable change was less than 20% in most conditions for the aforementioned parameters. Half-relaxation Time yielded overall insufficient reliability. In general, the level of reliability tended to increase after the maximal voluntary contraction and the fatigue protocol were administered, probably because of more controlled conditions preceding the measurement. Information about the long-term stability of TMG across different muscle conditions is essential when intervention studies are undertaken with an exercising population, particularly athletes.  相似文献

Reliability of high-resolution accelerometery (HRA) and mechanomyography (MMG) was evaluated for the assessment of single-leg balance. Subjects (5M/5F, 25 ± 3 yr; 169.4 ± 11.7 cm; 79.0 ± 16.9 kg) participated in fifteen (three randomized bouts of five repetitions) 15-s dominant leg stances. A single HRA was fixed superficial to L3/L4 segment to capture motions relative to the center-of-mass, and three-uniaxial accelerometers were fixed on the surface of the dominant leg correspondent to the vastus medialis (VM), vastus lateralis (VL), and soleus (SOL) muscles to record MMG. Triaxial signals from the HRA (s.r. = 625 Hz) were streamed to a base station, simultaneously with MMG (s.r. = 1000 Hz). Signals were sampled, recorded and later analyzed. HRAs were recorded in g’s for vertical (VT), medial/lateral (ML), anterior/posterior (AP) directions, and resultant (RES) scalar. Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) were computed for each and Pearson’s r was calculated for the relationships between MMG and HRA (α ? 0.05). Except for RES (ICC = 0.36), all measures demonstrated moderately strong reliability (ICC = 0.75, 0.73, 0.63, 0.87, 0.89, and 0.86 for VM, VL, SOL, VT, ML, and AP, respectively). HRA and MMG provide reliable information pertaining to balance, and may have application in evaluating postural control and stability.  相似文献

Functional shoulder assessments require the use of objective and reliable standardized outcome measures. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the between-day reliability of a hand-held dynamometer when measuring muscle strength during flexion, abduction, and internal and external rotation as well as surface electromyography (EMG) when measuring muscle activity from m. trapezius superior and deltoideus anterior. Twenty-four healthy subjects participated and performed four isometric contractions measured with a hand-held dynamometer and EMG. Both relative and absolute reliability were calculated based on the mean of the last three of the four repetitions. EMG amplitude was assessed calculating both absolute and normalized root-mean-square (RMS) values. The reliability of the hand-held dynamometer was high (LOA = 3.2–7.6% and ICC = 0.89–0.98). The absolute reliability for EMG showed similar results for absolute RMS values (LOA = 20.0–68.4%) and normalized RMS values (LOA = 42.4–66.5%). However, the results concerning the relative reliability showed higher ICC for absolute RMS values (ICC = 0.82–0.92) compared with normalized values (ICC = 0.57–0.72).The outcome measurements of this study with healthy subjects were found reliable and, therefore, have the potential to detect changes in muscle strength and muscle activity.  相似文献

Alterations in scapular muscle activity, including excess activation of the upper trapezius (UT) and onset latencies of the lower trapezius (LT) and serratus anterior (SA) muscles, are associated with abnormal scapular motion and shoulder impingement. Limited information exists on the reliability of neuromuscular activity to demonstrate the efficacy of interventions. The purpose of this study was to characterize the reproducibility of scapular muscle activity (mean activity, relative onset timing) over time and establish the minimal detectable change (MDC). Surface electromyography (sEMG) of the UT, LT, SA and anterior deltoid (AD) muscles in 16 adults were captured during an overhead lifting task in two sessions, one-week apart. sEMG data were also normalized to maximum isometric contraction and the relative onset and mean muscle activity during concentric and eccentric phases of the scapular muscles were calculated. Additionally, reliability of the absolute sEMG data during the lifting task and MVIC was evaluated. Both intrasession and intersession reliability of normalized and absolute mean scapular muscle activity, assessed with intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC), ranged from 0.62 to 0.99; MDC values were between 1.3% and 11.7% MVIC and 24 to 135 mV absolute sEMG. Reliability of sEMG during MVIC was ICC = 0.82–0.99, with the exception of intersession upper trapezius reliability (ICC = 0.36). Within session reliability of muscle onset times was ICC = 0.88–0.97, but between session reliability was lower with ICC = 0.43–0.73; MDC were between 39 and 237 ms. Small changes in scapular neuromuscular mean activity (>11.7% MVIC) can be interpreted as meaningful change, while change in muscle onset timing in light of specific processing parameters used in this study is more variable.  相似文献

The superimposed burst technique is used to estimate quadriceps central activation ratio during a maximal voluntary isometric contraction, which is calculated from force data during an open-chain knee extension task. Assessing quadriceps activation in a closed-chain position would more closely simulate the action of the quadriceps during activity. Our aim was to determine the test–retest reliability of the quadriceps central activation ratio in the closed chain.MethodsTwenty-two healthy, active volunteers (13M/12F; age = 23.8 ± 3; height = 72.7 ± 14.5 cm; mass = 175.3 ± 9.6 kg) were recruited to participate. Knee extension MVIC torque and the peak torque during a superimposed electrical stimulus delivered to the quadriceps during an MVIC were measured to estimate quadriceps CAR. Interclass correlation coefficients were used to assess test–retest reliability between sessions, and Bland–Altman plots to graphically assess agreement between sessions.ResultsTest–retest reliability was fair for CAR (ICC2,k = 0.68; P = 0.005), with a mean difference of −2.8 ± 10.3%, and limits of agreement ranging −23.1–18.1%.ConclusionsCAR calculated using the superimposed burst technique is moderately reliable in a closed-chain position using technique-based instruction. Although acceptable reliability was demonstrated, wide limits of agreement suggest high variability between sessions.  相似文献

Muscle co-activation around the knee is important during ambulation and balance. The wide range of methodological approaches for the quantification of co-activation index (CI) makes comparisons across studies and populations difficult. The present study determined within- and between-session reliability of different methodological approaches for the quantification of the CI of the knee extensor and flexor muscles during maximum voluntary isometric contractions (MVICs). Eight healthy volunteers participated in two repeated testing sessions. A series of knee extension MVICs of the dominant leg with concomitant torque and electromyographic (EMG) recordings were captured. CI was calculated utilizing different analytical approaches. Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) showed that within-session measures displayed higher reliability (ICC > 0.861) and lower variability (Coefficient of variation; CV < 21.8%) than between-session measures (ICC < 0.645; CV > 24.2%). A selection of a 500 ms or larger window of RMS EMG activity around the PT delivered more reliable and less variable results than other approaches. Our findings suggest that the CI can provide a reliable measure for comparisons among conditions and is best utilized for within-session experimental designs.  相似文献

Vaginal probes may induce changes in pelvic floor muscle (PFM) recruitment by the very presence of the probes. Fine-wire electrodes allow us to detect muscle activation parameters without altering the natural position and shape of the PFMs. The purpose of this study was to determine whether PFM activation is altered by changes in sensory feedback, muscle length or tissue position caused by two different vaginal probes used to record surface electromyography (EMG). Twelve continent women (30.1 ± 5.4 years), performed PFM maximal voluntary contractions (MVCs) in supine while fine-wire EMG was recorded bilaterally from the PFMs under three conditions: (a) without any probe inserted into the vagina, (b) while a Femiscan? probe was in situ, and (c) while a Periform? vaginal probe was in situ. The reliability of the fine wire EMG data was assessed using intra-class correlation coefficients (ICCs) and coefficients of variation (CV). A repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) model was used to determine if there were differences in EMG amplitude recorded when the different vaginal probes were in situ. For each condition the between-trial reliability was excellent, ICC(3,1) = 0.93–0.96, (p < 0.001) and CV = 11.2–21.8%. There were no differences in peak EMG amplitude recorded during the MVCs across the three conditions (no probe 63.4 ± 48.4 μV, Femiscan? 55.3 ± 42.4 μV, Periform? 59.4 ± 42.2 μV, p = 0.178). These results suggest that women produce consistent MVCs over multiple contractions, and that PFM muscle activation is not affected by different probes inserted into the vagina.  相似文献

IntroductionThe aim of this study was to determine the within- and between-day reliability of lower limb biomechanical variables collected during single leg squat (SLS) and single leg landing (SLL) tasks.Methods15 recreational athletes took part in three testing sessions, two sessions on the same day and another session one week later. Kinematic and kinetic data was gathered using a ten-camera movement analysis system (Qualisys) and a force platform (AMTI) embedded into the floor.ResultsThe combined averages of within-day ICC values (ICCSLS = 0.87; ICCSLL = 0.90) were higher than between-days (ICCSLS = 0.81; ICCSLL = 0.78). Vertical GRF values (ICCSLS = 0.90; ICCSLL = 0.98) were more reliable than joint angles (ICCSLS = 0.85; ICCSLL = 0.82) and moments (ICCSLS = 0.83; ICCSLL = 0.87).DiscussionThis study demonstrates that all joint angles, moments, and vertical ground reaction force (GRF) variables obtained during both tasks showed good to excellent consistency with relatively low standard error of measurement values. These findings would be of relevance to practitioners who are using such measures for screening and prospective studies of rehabilitative techniques.  相似文献

Alkaline phosphatase (AP) and ecto-5′-nucleotidase (e5′NT) belong to same family that hydrolyze the extracellular nucleotides and ensure the bioavailability of nucleotides and nucleosides at purinergic receptors. During pathophysiological conditions, the over expression of AP and e5′NT lead to an increased production of adenosine that enhance tumor proliferation, invasiveness, neoangiogenesis and disrupts the body antitumor response. As both enzymes are abundantly expressed in above mentioned conditions, therefore it is of great interest to synthesize and develop potent inhibitors of these enzymes that augment the antitumor therapy. Herein we reported the synthesis and biological activity of a new series of chalcone-sulfonamide hybrids (4a-j). These derivatives were then evaluated for their inhibitory potential against two members of ecto-nucleotidase family, e5′NT (human and rat) and APs isozyme (intestinal and tissue nonspecific). Only six derivatives were found to inhibit both human and rat e5′NT enzymes. Compounds 4e and 4d showed maximum inhibition of human and rat e5′NT with an IC50 ± SEM = 0.26 ± 0.01 and 0.33 ± 0.004 μM, respectively. Moreover, on APs, these derivatives were identified as the selective inhibitors of calf intestinal AP (c-IAP). The derivative 4a exhibited maximum inhibition of c-IAP with an IC50 ± SEM = 0.12 ± 0.02 μM. In conclusion, these chalcone-sulfonamide hybrids exhibited dual inhibition of both family of isozymes but was more selective towards c-IAP enzyme.  相似文献

BackgroundQuantified gait analysis is a rising technology used increasingly to assess motor disorders. Normal reference data are required in order to evaluate patients, but there are no reference data available for the Tunisian healthy population.AimTo assess the features of normal Tunisian gait pattern, and examine the intrinsic reliability of spatio-temporal, kinematic and kinetic parameters within a new specific reference database.MethodsEighteen healthy active-young adults (age: 23.30 ± 2.54 years, height: 1.78 ± 0.04 m and, weight: 70.00 ± 4.80 kg) have participated to five trials of step gait where the dominant lower limb were recorded. Two over the five trials were randomly selected to be further analyzed. Twenty-three spatio-temporal, kinematic and kinetic parameters determined from 3-dimensional gait analysis. The intrinsic reliability was examined for each variable and our results were compared with those available in the literature.ResultsTwelve over 23 parameters have an excellent intrinsic reliability (P > 0.05, ICC > 0.9 and SEM < 5% of the grand mean). There are similarities with other studies (P < 0.05) but we noticed the existence of some specificity (the height of hip extension peak and the low cadence of gait) that could characterize the Tunisian population.ConclusionA specific reference database of the gait cycle has been established for healthy Tunisian active-young adults and excellent inter-trial reliability may be observed for different variables.  相似文献

We investigated the reliability of a test assessing quadriceps strength, endurance and fatigability in a single session. We used femoral nerve magnetic stimulation (FMNS) to distinguish central and peripheral factors of neuromuscular fatigue. We used a progressive incremental loading with multiple assessments to limit the influence of subject’s cooperation and motivation.Twenty healthy subjects (10 men and 10 women) performed the test on two different days. Maximal voluntary strength and evoked quadriceps responses via FMNS were measured before, after each set of 10 submaximal isometric contractions (5-s on/5-s off; starting at 10% of maximal voluntary strength with 10% increments), immediately and 30 min after task failure. The test induced progressive peripheral (41 ± 13% reduction in single twitch at task failure) and central fatigue (3 ± 7% reduction in voluntary activation at task failure). Good inter-day reliability was found for the total number of submaximal contractions achieved (i.e. endurance index: ICC = 0.83), for reductions in maximal voluntary strength (ICC > 0.81) and evoked muscular responses (i.e. fatigue index: ICC > 0.85). Significant sex-differences were also detected. This test shows good reliability for strength, endurance and fatigability assessments. Further studies should be conducted to evaluate its feasibility and reliability in patients.  相似文献

The main purpose of this study was to compare three methods of determining relative effort during sit-to-stand (STS). Fourteen young (mean 19.6 ± SD 1.2 years old) and 17 older (61.7 ± 5.5 years old) adults completed six STS trials at three speeds: slow, normal, and fast. Sagittal plane joint torques at the hip, knee, and ankle were calculated through inverse dynamics. Isometric and isokinetic maximum voluntary contractions (MVC) for the hip, knee, and ankle were collected and used for model parameters to predict the participant-specific maximum voluntary joint torque. Three different measures of relative effort were determined by normalizing STS joint torques to three different estimates of maximum voluntary torque. Relative effort at the hip, knee, and ankle were higher when accounting for variations in maximum voluntary torque with joint angle and angular velocity (hip = 26.3 ± 13.5%, knee = 78.4 ± 32.2%, ankle = 27.9 ± 14.1%) compared to methods which do not account for these variations (hip = 23.5 ± 11.7%, knee = 51.7 ± 15.0%, ankle = 20.7 ± 10.4%). At higher velocities, the difference in calculating relative effort with respect to isometric MVC or incorporating joint angle and angular velocity became more evident. Estimates of relative effort that account for the variations in maximum voluntary torque with joint angle and angular velocity may provide higher levels of accuracy compared to methods based on measurements of maximal isometric torques.  相似文献

The purposes were twofold: (a) to ascertain the inter-session reliability of hamstrings total reaction time, pre-motor time and motor time; and (b) to examine sex-related differences in the hamstrings reaction times profile. Twenty-four men and 24 women completed the study. Biceps femoris and semitendinosus total reaction time, pre-motor time and motor time measured during eccentric isokinetic contractions were recorded on three different occasions. Inter-session reliability was examined through typical percentage error (CVTE), percentage change in the mean (CM) and intraclass correlations (ICC). For both biceps femoris and semitendinosus, total reaction time, pre-motor time and motor time measures demonstrated moderate inter-session reliability (CVTE < 10%; CM < 3%; ICC > 0.7). The results also indicated that, although not statistically significant, women reported consistently longer hamstrings total reaction time (23.5 ms), pre-motor time (12.7 ms) and motor time (7.5 ms) values than men. Therefore, an observed change larger than 5%, 9% and 8% for total reaction time, pre-motor time and motor time respectively from baseline scores after performing a training program would indicate that a real change was likely. Furthermore, while not statistically significant, sex differences were noted in the hamstrings reaction time profile which may play a role in the greater incidence of ACL injuries in women.  相似文献

This study sought to identify any differences in peak muscle activation (EMGPEAK) or average rectified variable muscle activation (EMGARV) during supinated grip, pronated grip, neutral grip and rope pull-up exercises. Nineteen strength trained males (24.9 ± 5 y; 1.78 ± 0.74 m; 81.3 ± 11.3 kg; 22.7 ± 2.5 kg m−2) volunteered to participate in the study. Surface electromyography (EMG) was collected from eight shoulder-arm-forearm complex muscles. All muscle activation was expressed as a percentage of maximum voluntary isometric contraction (%MVIC). Over a full repetition, the pronated grip resulted in significantly greater EMGPEAK (60.1 ± 22.5 vs. 37.1 ± 13.1%MVIC; P = 0.004; Effect Size [ES; Cohen’s d] = 1.19) and EMGARV (48.0 ± 21.2 vs. 27.4 ± 10.7%MVIC; P = 0.001; ES = 1.29) of the middle trapezius when compared to the neutral grip pull-up. The concentric phases of each pull-up variation resulted in significantly greater EMGARV of the brachioradialis, biceps brachii, and pectoralis major in comparison to the eccentric phases (P = <0.01). Results indicate that EMGPEAK and EMGARV of the shoulder-arm-forearm complex during complete repetitions of pull-up variants are similar despite varying hand orientations; however, differences exist between concentric and eccentric phases of each pull-up.  相似文献

PurposeTo compare a new normalization technique (wax pad, WAX) with the currently utilized cotton roll (COT) method in surface electromyography (sEMG) of the masticatory muscles.MethodssEMG of the masseter and anterior temporalis muscles of 23 subjects was recorded while performing two repetitions of 5 s maximum voluntary clenches (MVC) on COT and WAX. For each task, the mean value of sEMG amplitude and its coefficient of variation were calculated, and the differences between the two repetitions computed. The standard error of measurement (SEM) was calculated. For each subject and muscle, the COT-to-WAX maximum activity increment was computed. Participant preference between tasks was also recorded.ResultsWAX MVC tasks had larger maximum EMG amplitude than COT MVC tasks (P < 0.001), with COT-to-WAX maximum amplitude increments of 61% (temporalis) and 94% (masseter) (P = 0.006). WAX MVC had better test-retest repeatability than COT. For both MVC modalities, the mean amplitude (P > 0.391) and its coefficient of variation were unchanged (P > 0.180). The WAX task was the more comfortable for 18/23 subjects (P = 0.007).ConclusionWAX normalization ensures the same stability level of maximum EMG amplitude as COT normalization, but it is more repeatable, elicits larger maximum muscular contraction, and is felt to be more comfortable by subjects.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to determine the test–retest reliability of the soleus (SOL) H-reflex during rest and isometric contractions at 10%, 30%, and 50% of the maximal voluntary force (MVC) at the ankle joint angles of neutral (0°), plantarflexion (20°), and dorsiflexion (?20°) respectively, in a sitting position. Ten healthy participants, with mean age of 24.9 ± 5.0 (SD) years, height 168.3 ± 8.8 cm, weight 62.7 ± 12.3 kg, were tested for the SOL H-reflex (Hmax) on two separate occasions within 7 days. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) for the test–retest of the SOL H-reflex during rest was found to be high at ankle joint angle of neutral (ICC = 0.92) and plantarflexion (0.96), and moderate at dorsiflexion (0.75). Inconsistent ICC values (range from 0.62 to 0.97) were found during the submaximal voluntary contractions at the three ankle joint positions. High ICCs were also found in Hmax/Mmax ratio at neutral (0.86), plantarflexion (0.96), and dorsiflexion (0.84) positions. It was concluded that the test–retest reliability of the SOL H-reflex was affected by the intensity of voluntary contraction and ankle joint position. The H-reflex demonstrated a higher reliability at the neutral and plantarflexion positions than that at the dorsiflexion position during rest, and a higher reliability at 10% MVC than that at 30% and 50% MVC.  相似文献

BackgroundOur aim was to assess the feasibility of early acquisition (10 min) gated single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) by comparison to conventional imaging at one hour.Methods and resultsOne hundred and four patients referred for exercise test and SPECT were included. Sequential imaging was started 10 min (SPECT 10) and 60 min (SPECT 60) after injection of the radiotracer (Tc-99m sestamibi). Stress myocardial perfusion was visually analyzed from 10 to 60 min stress by two experienced nuclear-cardiologists. Six patients were further excluded, because of high digestive accumulation: one patient at 10 min, three at 10 and 60 min, two at rest. The participants were classified as follows: group G1 (normal SPECT 10 and 60, n = 53), group G2 (abnormal SPECT 10 and/or SPECT 60, n = 45). The left ventricle ejection fraction (EF) and volumes (end-systolic and end-diastolic volumes, ESV, EDV) were calculated with the Cedars-Sinai program.ResultsQuality imaging was the same at SPECT 10 min and SPECT 60 min. Perfusion scores: G1 10 min = 0,4 versus G1 60 min = 0,4 (p = NS); G2 10 min = 10,2 versus G2 60 min = 10,1 (p = NS); EFG1 10 min = 71 ± 11% versus EFG1 60 min = 68 ± 10% (p = 4E-04); EFG2 10 min = 56 ± 15% versus EFG2 60 min = 53 ± 15% (p = 0,002); EDV G1 10 min = 72 ± 20 ml versus EDV G1 60 min = 76 ± 19 (p = 0,002); EDV G2 10 min = 98 ± 46 ml versus EDV G2 60 min = 105 ± 38 (p = 0,08); ESVG1 10 min = 22 ± 12 m versus ESV G1 60 min = 25 ± 12 (p = 9E-04); ESVG2 10 min = 47 ± 35 ml versus ESV G2 60 min = 53 ± 36 (p = 3E-04).ConclusionsThis study suggests that early gated Sestamibi SPECT after stress provides same perfusion analysis than classical late imaging.  相似文献

Static, B-mode ultrasound is the most common method of measuring fascicle length in vivo. However, most forearm muscles have fascicles that are longer than the field-of-view of traditional ultrasound (T-US). As such, little work has been done to quantify in vivo forearm muscle architecture. The extended field-of-view ultrasound (EFOV-US) method, which fits together a sequence of B-mode images taken from a continuous ultrasound scan, facilitates direct measurements of longer, curved fascicles. Here, we test the validity and reliability of the EFOV-US method for obtaining fascicle lengths in the extensor carpi ulnaris (ECU). Fascicle lengths from images of the ECU captured in vivo with EFOV-US were compared to lengths from a well-established method, T-US. Images were collected in a joint posture that shortens the ECU such that entire fascicle lengths were captured within a single T-US image. Resulting measurements were not significantly different (p = 0.18); a Bland-Altman test demonstrated their agreement. A novice sonographer implemented EFOV-US in a phantom and in vivo on the ECU. The novice sonographer’s measurements from the ultrasound phantom indicate that the combined imaging and analysis method is valid (average error = 2.2 ± 1.3 mm) and the in vivo fascicle length measurements demonstrate excellent reliability (ICC = 0.97). To our knowledge, this is the first study to quantify in vivo fascicle lengths of the ECU using any method. The ability to define a muscle’s architecture in vivo using EFOV-US could lead to improvements in diagnosis, model development, surgery guidance, and rehabilitation techniques.  相似文献

Three processed products derived from the green algae C. vulgaris were investigated: (1) spray-dried only (S-DA); (2) spray-dried and electroporated (ES-DA); (3) spray-dried; ultrasonicated treated (US-DA). A nitrogen-balance study was performed. Male growing Wistar rats, housed separately in metabolism cages, were fed the three algal products as the sole protein source at 150 mg N per 100 g of body weight. A control group of rats was fed with casein at a level to give the same protein nitrogen intake. The coefficients of total intestinal tract apparent crude protein digestibility for the different C. vulgaris products were: S-DA = 0.47 ± 0.127% (mean ± S.D.), ES-DA = 0.44 ± 0.075%, US-DA = 0.57 ± 0.137%. Protein efficiency ratio was 1.4 ± 0.3, 1.0 ± 0.5 and 2.1 ± 0.3, respectively. N-balance was 41.86 ± 32.8 mg, 31.3 ± 17.3 mg and 66.7 ± 30.1 mg, respectively. The biological value was 93 ± 9.5%, 93.6 ± 10%, and 101 ± 5%, respectively. The coefficient of total intestinal tract apparent crude protein digestibility and biological value of C. vulgaris was enhanced by ultrasonic treatment and reduced by electroporating, thus ultrasonication may be a helpful technological process in practical processing of green algae in food industry.  相似文献

Bisindole analogs 117 were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro β-glucuronidase inhibitory potential. Out of seventeen compounds, the analog 1 (IC50 = 1.62 ± 0.04 μM), 6 (IC50 = 1.86 ± 0.05 μM), 10 (IC50 = 2.80 ± 0.29 μM), 9 (IC50 = 3.10 ± 0.28 μM), 14 (IC50 = 4.30 ± 0.08 μM), 2 (IC50 = 18.40 ± 0.09 μM), 19 (IC50 = 19.90 ± 1.05 μM), 4 (IC50 = 20.90 ± 0.62 μM), 7 (IC50 = 21.50 ± 0.77 μM), and 3 (IC50 = 22.30 ± 0.02 μM) showed superior β-glucuronidase inhibitory activity than the standard (d-saccharic acid 1,4-lactone, IC50 = 48.40 ± 1.25 μM). In addition, molecular docking studies were performed to investigate the binding interactions of bisindole derivatives with the enzyme. This study has identified a new class of potent β-glucouronidase inhibitors.  相似文献
