A biozonation based on Lituolids, Orbitolinids and Dasycladacean algae is given. Although most of the fossils used are typical of lagoonal environments, the proposed biozonation has been tested using Ammonits, Calpionellids and planktonic Forams. The present biozonation is in agreement with the ones described from other Mediterranean realms.  相似文献

For the first time in the Pyrenees Atlantiques, three species of the genus Phyllograptus have been observed in slates of the Saint-Martin d'Arrossa region. This discovery has made it possible to date more precisely these beds which were previously considered to be Upper Ordovician on Brachiopod evidence. It is now possible to place these slates in the Lower Ordovician and more precisely in the Arenig.  相似文献

The revision of the blind Phacopidae of the “Schistes beiges à Dianops” from Finistère which were previouslyassigned to Famennian V, allows that it is Trimerocephalus caecus (GURICH), a characteristical species of Famennian II-III. These shales are the more recent Devonian levels which are known in the Châteaulin Synclinorium.The occurence of this cosmopolitan species indicates that despite a generalized regression in the Finistèreduring the Lower Famennian, communications still existed with the whole european variscan ocean.  相似文献

Ten new Dinosaur foot prints fields have been discovered in Middle Jurassic red beds of Central High Atlas (Morocco). Ovoid prints (Sauropod) are there more common than tridactyle (Theropod). The trace fossils appear at two distinct levels of the red beds which have been previously rattached to Cretaceous.  相似文献

Fauna associated with stone artifacts have recently been uncovered, in the course of a survey from a cave site named Baerya, town land of Bijie, Guizhou province. The first observations suggest a human occupation. In the absence of chrono-stratigraphic data, it is not possible to assess the age of the site. Nevertheless the presence of lower Pleistocene fauna suggests a very ancient age for this human occupation. Further field research will be necessary to determinate the age and nature of the site.  相似文献

Some animal and mineral resources, rarely identified in the levels of the Cantabrian Magdalenian, were exploited by the Paleolithic populations of the Nalón Valley (western Asturias) at the end of the Pleistocene. In this research, we present some of them, preserved in the Las Caldas Cave: dental remains and representations of marine mammals, marine crustaceans and molluscs, and diverse remains of amber and jet. These were selected, collected in ecosystems far away from the cave and, finally, transformed by the groups. These remains seem to complement the common resources exploited in Magdalenian paleoeconomy (e.g., ungulates, birds, fish, small carnivores, vegetables, flint, quartzite, quartz) recovered and exploited biotopes closest to the site. Our aim is thus to confirm a certain mobility of these communities towards the specific sources of raw material in search of subsistence resources potentially used in the activities of these communities (e.g., food, technology, social and symbolic expression, exchange).  相似文献

The rich fauna from Collet-Redon (B.d.R.) has yielded together big and small mammals of an astaracian age, which enables us to reconsider the age of the containing geological formation. The little species show some affinities with those of the Swiss and South-German deposits and demonstrate the filter effect of the Rhodanian Miocene sea, which was permitting only the crossing of the big mammals.  相似文献

The present work completed the research that we have developed during the last years in the cave. The analysis of the painting matter has been made to recognize the anthropic origin of certain figures, to compare the natural iron oxide deposits with one of the paintings with the purpose of establishing the supply area, and to compare the pictorial matter of the different figures to characterize the technical process of the cave. Nineteen samples were taken, from the painted figures and from natural depots. The analysis made in the C2RMF have confirmed the anthropic origin of two figures and have shown the preparation of different pigments for a same painting.  相似文献

The excavations carried out in the cave of Santa Ana (Cáceres, Spain), cave of the karstic network of the “Calerizo” of Cáceres, enabled us to know the existence, in stratigraphy, of the three lito-techniques modes which characterize the industrial development of lower and middle Pleistocene in the Iberian Peninsula. On standby of new research, the results obtained until now permit us two work out a diachronic assumption of technical evolution. In the Iberian Peninsula, there are only two karstic systems where we can fallow this technological development; one is the “Sierra de Atapuerca” (Burgos) and the other is the “Calerizo de Cáceres” (Cáceres).  相似文献
