The robust asymptotic stability analysis for uncertain BAM neural networks with both interval time-varying delays and stochastic disturbances is considered. By using the stochastic analysis approach, employing some free-weighting matrices and introducing an appropriate type of Lyapunov functional which takes into account the ranges for delays, some new stability criteria are established to guarantee the delayed BAM neural networks to be robustly asymptotically stable in the mean square. Unlike the most existing mean square stability conditions for BAM neural networks, the supplementary requirements that the time derivatives of time-varying delays must be smaller than 1 are released and the lower bounds of time varying delays are not restricted to be 0. Furthermore, in the proposed scheme, the stability conditions are delay-range-dependent and rate-dependent/independent. As a result, the new criteria are applicable to both fast and slow time-varying delays. Three numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

This paper addresses the stability problem on the memristive neural networks with time-varying impulses. Based on the memristor theory and neural network theory, the model of the memristor-based neural network is established. Different from the most publications on memristive networks with fixed-time impulse effects, we consider the case of time-varying impulses. Both the destabilizing and stabilizing impulses exist in the model simultaneously. Through controlling the time intervals of the stabilizing and destabilizing impulses, we ensure the effect of the impulses is stabilizing. Several sufficient conditions for the globally exponentially stability of memristive neural networks with time-varying impulses are proposed. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis for neural networks with interval time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties. An approach combining the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with the differential inequality and linear matrix inequality techniques is taken to investigate this problem. By constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and introducing some free weighting matrices, some less conservative delay-derivative-dependent and delay-derivative-independent stability criteria are established in term of linear matrix inequality. And the new criteria are applicable to both fast and slow time-varying delays. Three numerical examples show that the proposed criterion are effective and is an improvement over some existing results in the literature.  相似文献

The state estimation problem for discrete-time recurrent neural networks with both interval discrete and infinite-distributed time-varying delays is studied in this paper, where interval discrete time-varying delay is in a given range. The activation functions are assumed to be globally Lipschitz continuous. A delay-dependent condition for the existence of state estimators is proposed based on new bounding techniques. Via solutions to certain linear matrix inequalities, general full-order state estimators are designed that ensure globally asymptotic stability. The significant feature is that no inequality is needed for seeking upper bounds for the inner product between two vectors, which can reduce the conservatism of the criterion by employing the new bounding techniques. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

By utilizing inequality techniques and Lyapunov functional method, some sufficient conditions on the exponential synchronization are obtained based on p-norm. This paper investigates drive-response synchronization for a class of neural networks with time-varying discrete and distributed delays (mixed delays) as well as discontinuous activations. Strict mathematical proof shows the global existence of Filippov solutions to neural networks with discontinuous activation functions and the mixed delays. State feedback controller and impulsive controller are designed respectively to guarantee global exponential synchronization of the neural networks. By using Lyapunov function and new analysis techniques, several new synchronization criteria are obtained. Moreover, lower bound on the convergence rate is explicitly estimated when state feedback controller is utilized. Results of this paper are new and some existing ones are extended and improved. Finally, numerical simulations are given to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of robust exponential stability for a class of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties. The time delays are not necessarily differentiable and the uncertainties are assumed to be time-varying but norm-bounded. Sufficient conditions, which guarantee that the concerned uncertain delayed neural network is robustly, globally, exponentially stable for all admissible parameter uncertainties, are obtained under a weak assumption on the neuron activation functions. These conditions are dependent on the size of the time delay and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the proposed stability results.  相似文献

The problem of the global asymptotic stability for a class of neural networks with time-varying delays is investigated in this paper, where the activation functions are assumed to be neither monotonic, nor differentiable, nor bounded. By constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals and combining with linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, new global asymptotic stability criteria about different types of time-varying delays are obtained. It is shown that the criteria can provide less conservative result than some existing ones. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Constrained optimization problems arise in a wide variety of scientific and engineering applications. Since several single recurrent neural networks when applied to solve constrained optimization problems for real-time engineering applications have shown some limitations, cooperative recurrent neural network approaches have been developed to overcome drawbacks of these single recurrent neural networks. This paper surveys in details work on cooperative recurrent neural networks for solving constrained optimization problems and their engineering applications, and points out their standing models from viewpoint of both convergence to the optimal solution and model complexity. We provide examples and comparisons to shown advantages of these models in the given applications.  相似文献

In this paper, we extensively study the global asymptotic stability problem of complex-valued neural networks with leakage delay and additive time-varying delays. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and applying newly developed complex valued integral inequalities, sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of proposed neural networks are established in the form of complex-valued linear matrix inequalities. This linear matrix inequalities are efficiently solved by using standard available numerical packages. Finally, three numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the problem of global and robust stability of a class of interval Hopfield neural networks that have time-varying delays. Some criteria for the global and robust stability of such networks are derived, by means of constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals for the networks. As a by-product, for the conventional Hopfield neural networks with time-varying delays, we also obtain some new criteria for their global and asymptotic stability.  相似文献

Understanding the control of cellular networks consisting of gene and protein interactions and their emergent properties is a central activity of Systems Biology research. For this, continuous, discrete, hybrid, and stochastic methods have been proposed. Currently, the most common approach to modelling accurate temporal dynamics of networks is ordinary differential equations (ODE). However, critical limitations of ODE models are difficulty in kinetic parameter estimation and numerical solution of a large number of equations, making them more suited to smaller systems. In this article, we introduce a novel recurrent artificial neural network (RNN) that addresses above limitations and produces a continuous model that easily estimates parameters from data, can handle a large number of molecular interactions and quantifies temporal dynamics and emergent systems properties. This RNN is based on a system of ODEs representing molecular interactions in a signalling network. Each neuron represents concentration change of one molecule represented by an ODE. Weights of the RNN correspond to kinetic parameters in the system and can be adjusted incrementally during network training. The method is applied to the p53-Mdm2 oscillation system – a crucial component of the DNA damage response pathways activated by a damage signal. Simulation results indicate that the proposed RNN can successfully represent the behaviour of the p53-Mdm2 oscillation system and solve the parameter estimation problem with high accuracy. Furthermore, we presented a modified form of the RNN that estimates parameters and captures systems dynamics from sparse data collected over relatively large time steps. We also investigate the robustness of the p53-Mdm2 system using the trained RNN under various levels of parameter perturbation to gain a greater understanding of the control of the p53-Mdm2 system. Its outcomes on robustness are consistent with the current biological knowledge of this system. As more quantitative data become available on individual proteins, the RNN would be able to refine parameter estimation and mapping of temporal dynamics of individual signalling molecules as well as signalling networks as a system. Moreover, RNN can be used to modularise large signalling networks.  相似文献

This paper is pertained with the synchronization problem for an array of coupled discrete-time complex networks with the presence of both time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties. The time-varying delays are considered both in the network couplings and dynamical nodes. By constructing suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and utilizing convex reciprocal lemma, new synchronization criteria for the complex networks are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Delay-partitioning technique is employed to incur less conservative results. All the results presented here not only depend upon lower and upper bounds of the time-delay, but also the number of delay partitions. Numerical simulations are rendered to exemplify the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed results.  相似文献

In this paper, a nonlinear model for genetic regulator networks (GRNs) with SUM regulatory logic is presented. Four sufficient and necessary conditions of global asymptotical stability and global exponential stability for the equilibrium point of the GRNs are proposed, respectively. Specifically, three weak sufficient conditions and corresponding corollaries are derived by using comparing theorem and Dini derivative method. Then, a famous GRN model is used as the example to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results. Comparing to the results in the previous literature, some novel ideas, study methods and interesting results are explored.  相似文献

In this paper, the synchronization problem for delayed continuous time nonlinear complex neural networks is considered. The delay dependent state feed back synchronization gain matrix is obtained by considering more general case of time-varying delay. Using Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient synchronization criteria are derived in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). By decomposing the delay interval into multiple equidistant subintervals, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) are constructed on these intervals. Employing these LKFs, new delay dependent synchronization criteria are proposed in terms of LMIs for two cases with and without derivative of time-varying delay. Numerical examples are illustrated to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
