High-quality, free-standing, and vertically interconnected three-dimensional (3-D) graphitic nanosheets (GNSs) were synthesized over the surface of hemispherical carbon particles/GaN at 700 °C by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) in presence of methane gas, whereas the hemispherical carbon particles have been directly deposited on GaN/sapphire template. The GNSs are ∼1–5 nm in thickness and have a graphitic flake structure on hemispherical carbon particles. The vertically interconnected 3-D GNSs on hemispherical carbon particles have been characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, selective area electron diffraction pattern, X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and nitrogen gas adsorption-Brunauer-Emmet-Teller. The present CVD approach is capable of producing large quantities of GNSs with high purity. Moreover, a high-purity free-standing and vertically interconnected 3-D GNSs on hemispherical carbon particles have an enormous potential for applications in electronic devices, biological sensors, gas uptake and storage, fuel cells, lithium ion batteries, and more.  相似文献

In a single-barrier discharge with voltage sharpening and low gas consumption (up to 1 L/min), plane atmospheric pressure plasma jets with a width of up to 3 cm and length of up to 4 cm in air are formed in the slit geometry of the discharge zone. The energy, temperature, and spectral characteristics of the obtained jets have been measured. The radiation spectrum contains intense maxima corresponding to vibrational transitions of the second positive system of molecular nitrogen N2 (C3Π u B3Π g ) and comparatively weak transition lines of the first positive system of the N 2 + ion (B2Σ u + X2Σ g ). By an example of inactivation of the Staphylococcus aureus culture (strain ATCC 209), it is shown that plasma is a source of chemically active particles providing the inactivation of microorganisms.  相似文献

This movie shows how an atmospheric pressure plasma torch can be ignited by microwave power with no additional igniters. After ignition of the plasma, a stable and continuous operation of the plasma is possible and the plasma torch can be used for many different applications. On one hand, the hot (3,600 K gas temperature) plasma can be used for chemical processes and on the other hand the cold afterglow (temperatures down to almost RT) can be applied for surface processes. For example chemical syntheses are interesting volume processes. Here the microwave plasma torch can be used for the decomposition of waste gases which are harmful and contribute to the global warming but are needed as etching gases in growing industry sectors like the semiconductor branch. Another application is the dissociation of CO2. Surplus electrical energy from renewable energy sources can be used to dissociate CO2 to CO and O2. The CO can be further processed to gaseous or liquid higher hydrocarbons thereby providing chemical storage of the energy, synthetic fuels or platform chemicals for the chemical industry. Applications of the afterglow of the plasma torch are the treatment of surfaces to increase the adhesion of lacquer, glue or paint, and the sterilization or decontamination of different kind of surfaces. The movie will explain how to ignite the plasma solely by microwave power without any additional igniters, e.g., electric sparks. The microwave plasma torch is based on a combination of two resonators — a coaxial one which provides the ignition of the plasma and a cylindrical one which guarantees a continuous and stable operation of the plasma after ignition. The plasma can be operated in a long microwave transparent tube for volume processes or shaped by orifices for surface treatment purposes.  相似文献

本试验以干燥桑叶粉为材料,在单因素实验的基础上,采用Box-Benhnken中心组合实验和响应面分析法,研究了提取时间、微波功率和料液比对桑叶多糖提取率的影响,确定了微波提取桑叶多糖的最佳工艺条件;与热水浸提法相比,微波法提取率高,且所得桑叶多糖更能明显提高四氧嘧啶糖尿病小鼠的糖耐量,是一种更好的桑叶多糖提取方法。  相似文献

Dependence of the shape of a microwave pulse in a plasma relativistic microwave amplifier (PRMA) on the initial plasma electron density in the system is detected experimentally. Depending on the plasma density, fast disruption of amplification, stable operation of the amplifier during the relativistic electron beam (REB) pulse, and its delayed actuation can take place. A reduction in the output signal frequency relative to the input frequency is observed experimentally. The change in the shape of the microwave signal and the reduction in its frequency are explained by a decrease in the plasma density in the system. The dynamics of the plasma density during the REB pulse is determined qualitatively from the experimental data by using the linear theory of a PRMA with a thin-wall hollow electron beam. The processes in a PRMA are analyzed by means of the KARAT particle-in-cell code. It is shown that REB injection is accompanied by an increase in the mean energy of plasma electrons and a significant decrease in their density.  相似文献

The electrode region of an electrode microwave discharge in hydrogen at pressures of 0.5–4 torr and absorbed powers of up to 12 W is studied using emission spectroscopy and actinometry. It is shown that the gas temperature is at most 700 K and the degree of dissociation does not exceed several percent. Direct electron impact is shown to be the main factor governing all the processes in the electrode region of the discharge, including the excitation of the recorded emission. In particular, the Balmer-series Hα line emission is related to the dissociative electron-impact excitation of hydrogen molecules in the ground state.  相似文献

Cold plasma is an emerging novel non-thermal technology in the sector of food processing. In the present review we will discuss the recent scientific reports on properties of cold plasma treated starches. For industrial use native starch is subject to modification to enhance the properties. This paper reviews on the mechanism of starch modification by plasma reactive species, briefly discussing its effects on properties. The effect of cold plasma on starches depends on the type of feed gas, voltage applied and treatment time. The alteration in the properties is mainly due to depolymerization and cross linking of amylose and amylopectin side chains. After plasma treatment there is decrease in molecular weight, viscosity, and gelatinization temperatures. Plasma etching increased the surface energy and enhanced the hydrophilicity of the starch granules. We can conclude that cold plasma is as alternative technology to modify the properties of starch.  相似文献

Cyclotides are mini-proteins of approximately 30 amino acid residues that have a unique structure consisting of a head-to-tail cyclized backbone and a knotted arrangement of three disulfide bonds. This unique cyclotide structure provides exceptional stability to chemical, enzymatic and thermal treatments and has been implicated as an ideal drug scaffold for the development into agricultural and biotechnological agents. In the current work, we present the first method for microwave assisted Fmoc-SPPS of cyclotides. This protocol adopts a strategy that combines optimized microwave assisted chemical reactions for Fmoc-SPPS of the peptide backbone, the cleavage of the protected peptide and the introduction of a thioester at the C-terminal carboxylic acid to obtain the head-to-tail cyclized cyclotide backbone by native chemical ligation. To exemplify the utility of this protocol in the synthesis of a wide array of different cyclotide sequences we synthesized representative members from the three cyclotide subfamilies—the Möbius kalata B1, the bracelet cycloviolacin O2 and the trypsin inhibitory MCoTI-II. In addition, a “one pot” reaction promoting both cyclization and oxidative folding of crude peptide thioester was adapted for kalata B1 and MCoTI-II.  相似文献

The origin of guanine has been unknown, thoughthere are some reports concerning its abiotic synthesis. Weshow here that guanine, as well as uracil and cytosine, aresynthesized from a 90%N2–10%CO–H2O gas mixture via a complex organic product produced with the high-temperature and rapidquenching technique. Approximately 25% of cases of Diamond Blackfan anemia, a severe hypoplastic anemia, are linked to heterozygous mutations in the gene encoding ribosomal protein S19 that result in haploinsufficiency for this protein. Here we show that deletion of either of the two genes encoding Rps19 in yeast severely affects the production of 40 S ribosomal subunits. Rps19 is an essential protein that is strictly required for maturation of the 3'-end of 18 S rRNA. Depletion of Rps19 results in the accumulation of aberrant pre-40 S particles retained in the nucleus that fail to associate with pre-ribosomal factors involved in late maturation steps, including Enp1, Tsr1, and Rio2. When introduced in yeast Rps19, amino acid substitutions found in Diamond Blackfan anemia patients induce defects in the processing of the pre-rRNA similar to those observed in cells under-expressing Rps19. These results uncover a pivotal role of Rps19 in the assembly and maturation of the pre-40 S particles and demonstrate for the first time the effect of Diamond Blackfan anemia-associated mutations on the function of Rps19, strongly connecting the pathology to ribosome biogenesis.  相似文献

Ice formation inside or outside cells has been proposed to be a factor causing cryoinjury to cells/tissues during cryopreservation. How to control, reduce, or eliminate the ice formation has been an important research topic in fundamental cryobiology. The objective of this study was to test a hypothesis that the coupled interaction of microwave radiation and cryoprotectant concentration could significantly influence ice formation and enhance potential vitrification in cryopreservation media at a relative slow cooling rate. Test samples consisted of a series of solutions with ethylene glycol (a cryoprotectant) concentration ranging from 3 to 5.5M.A specific microwave resonant cavity was built and utilized to provide an intense oscillating electric field. Solutions were simultaneously exposed to this electric field and cooled to −196°C by rapid immersion in liquid nitrogen. Control samples were similarly submerged in liquid nitrogen but without the microwave field. The amount of ice formation was determined by analysis of digital images of the samples. The morphology of the solidified samples was observed by cryomicroscopy. It was found that ice formation was greatly influenced by microwave irradiation. For example, ice formation could be reduced by roughly 56% in 3.5Methylene glycol solutions. An average reduction of 66% was observed in 4.5Msolutions. Statistical analysis indicated that the main effects of microwave and ethylene glycol concentration as well as the interaction between these two factors significantly (P< 0.01) influenced ice formation amount, confirming the hypothesis. This preliminary study suggests that a combined use of microwave irradiation and cryoprotectant might be a potential approach to control ice formation in cells/tissues during the cooling process and to enhance vitrification of these biomaterials for long-term cryopreservation.  相似文献

在微波辐射条件下,以2-萘酚和氯化苄为原料,用氢氧化钠作碱剂,碘化钾作催化剂,以水和N,N-二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)为溶剂合成了苄基-2-萘基醚;采用单因素实验法,考察了反应物的摩尔比、催化剂用量、微波功率、辐射时间等因素对苄基-2-萘基醚产率的影响。实验结果表明:在n(2-萘酚):n(氢氧化钠):n(氯化苄):n(碘化钾)=1:1.1:1:0.018,水7 ml,DMF 25 ml,微波功率320 W和辐射时间75 s的优化条件下,苄基-2-萘基醚的产率可达88.03%。  相似文献

Chain-like Co flower is synthesized by simply modulating the reaction conditions via a facile liquid-phase reduction method. The morphology evolution process and transformation mechanism from particle to flower and finally to chain-like flower have been systematically investigated. [001] is the preferred growth orientation due to the existence of easy magnetic axis. The microwave loss mechanism can be attributed to the synergistic effect of magnetic loss and dielectric loss, while magnetic loss is the main loss mechanism. In addition, the special microstructure of chain-like Co flower may further enhance microwave attenuation. The architectural design of functional material morphology is critical for improving its property toward future application.  相似文献

目的:在微波辐射下,以顺丁烯二酸酐和苄醇为原料,在复合催化剂对甲苯磺酸-硫脲存在下以甲苯为带水剂一步合成了富马酸二苄酯.方法:通过熔点测定和红外光谱分析对产物进行了结构表征.采用正交试验法研究了反应物的摩尔比、催化剂用量、反应温度、辐射反应时间等对产物收率的影响.结果:实验结果表明,在微波功率为700W,n(顺丁烯二酸酸酐):n(苄醇)=1:5,复合催化剂用量为总投料量的7%,甲苯20mL,一酯化、转化、二酯化的温度分别为140℃、145℃、135℃,回流分水90min的条件下,富马酸二苄酯的收率可达92.50%.结论:采用微波辐射法复合催化合成富马酸二苄酯具有操作简便、反应时间短、产物收率高等特点.  相似文献
