中国光苔属资料

对中国光苔属标本进行研究的结果表明,除曾报道的Cyathodium cavernarium Kunze和C.smaragdinum Schiffn.两种以外,又发现了C.tuberosum Kash.、C.aureonitens(Griff.) Mitt.和C.tuberculatum Udar et Singh 3个中国新记录种。中国现有光苔属植物共5种。     

The Nucleolar Chromosome in Hepatics.: II. A Phylogenetic Speculation

Abstract

1. The gametophytic chromosome set of Riccardia pinguis (L.) Gray shows signs of diploid origin.

2. The basic chromosome number of the Anthocerotae makes it possible that the ancestor of the Hepaticae belonged broadly, to this class.

3. The simplest way in which the chromosome complement of the Anthocerotae may be related to that of the Hepaticae is by diploidy; a complement produced in this way would have the same features as that of R. pinguis.

4. On the basis of morphological evidence it has previously been suggested that the Anthocerotae may be ancestral to the Hepaticae, and that the connexion may be through a plant resembling Riccardia (Campbell, 1940).

The vegetation of a New Zealand dune slack

The vegetation of a dune slack at Mason Bay, Stewart Island, New Zealand was found to comprise a mosaic of communities. Although the broad vegetational patterns could be correlated with the depth of the water table, the patterns were far from simple. Species diversity over the whole slack was lower than values reported from European dune slacks; even the most diverse communities did not reach European mean values.For nomenclature see Wilson in press. STEEREELLA,A NEW GENUS OF HEPATICAE FROM THE WEST INDIES

In addition to the complete lack of the usual spiral bands of thickenings in the elaters, the new genus Steereella is unique among the Hepaticae for the resemblance of its cellular organization in the thalloid gametophyte to that of some moss leaves. The taxon recognized is one genus, Steereella, gen. n., and one species S. linearis (Swartz) Kuwah. comb. nov., in which the variable nature of the gametophyte is particularly noted. The genus appears to be restricted to the West Indies.     

Chemosystematics of the hepaticae

Most liverworts (Hepaticae) contain oil bodies which are composed of lipophilic terpenoids and aromatic compounds. The chemosystematics of 36 families of the Jungermannidae and seven families of the Marchantiidae of the Hepaticae are discussed using terpenoid and aromatic components.     

Effect of lunularic acid on auxin-oxidase activity

Lunulario aoid was isolated from fresh thalli ofTargionia hypophylla L. This acid was found to enhanoe the destruction of IAA by auxin-oxidase from lentil roots. Such action can explain, at least partially, its inhibitory effect on IAA-induced plant growth.

苔纲(Hepaticae)植物雌性生殖苞的形态学研究

以比较形态解剖学方法,对苔纲 (Hepaticae) 植物雌性生殖苞的结构及其不同成分起源进行了研究。首次把苔纲雌性生殖苞（Perichaetium）分为蒴帽型（Calyptra type）、蒴萼型（Perianth type）、鞘萼型（Coelocaule-perianth type）、茎鞘型（Coelocaule type）、蒴囊型（Perigynium type）、总苞型（Involucre type）和托生总苞型（Carpocephalum involucre type）等雌苞类型,并指明其中蒴帽型雌苞（Perichaetium of calyptra type of Hepaticae）最简单,为演化原始类群,托生总苞型雌苞（Perichaetium of carpocephalum involucre type of Hepaticae）演化最高级。还首次提出了雌苞演化示意图和“苞图式”表示苔类的雌苞结构。     

中国四川合叶苔属一新种

报道了中国四川苔类植物一新种———拟褐色合叶苔 (ScapaniaferrugineaoidesT .Cao ,C .GaoetJSun)。     

中国苔类新记录种--疣茎类钱袋苔

报道产于西藏和云南的中国苔类植物缺萼苔科类钱袋苔属1个新记录种：疣茎类钱袋苔Apomarsupella crystallocaulon（Grolle）Vana。该种主要特征为茎皮部细胞角质层具透明疣,有别于本科其他种类。     

Terpenoids from the french liverwort targionia hypophylla

Two monoterpene acetates, cis- and trans-pinocarveyl acetates, which make up the characteristic aroma of the thalloid liverwort Targionia hypophylla were isolated, together with the previously known sesquiterpene alcohol, drimenol.

The aims and achievements of bryophyte taxonomists

Progress and problems in taxonomy of bryophytes during recent decennia are assessed. It is postulated that at the species level: (a) understanding of many holarctic taxa assumes 'modern' standards, in part because of accretion of genetic, cytological, ultrastructural, and/or biochemical data; (b) for the Tropics and Antipodes in general this is not the case; (c) the Arctic-boreal-temperate flora is relatively depauperate; (d) the very rich tropical and antipodal flora has been relatively neglected; and (e) extant deficiencies reside in part with an over-concern with nomenclature. At the level of higher taxa it is suggested that (a) progress in defining families, suborders and other higher categories is relatively advanced in the Hepaticae compared to the Musci and (b) this is owing, in part, to the introduction and/or utilization of numerous new criteria in the Hepaticae versus the Musci. In the evaluation of evolutionary phenomena, chiefly rates, utilization of tectonic data may be pertinent and comprehension of dispersal mechanisms, sexuality and general reproductive biology are essential.

中国假蒴苞苔属的分类研究

对中国假蒴苞苔属进行了较详尽的分类研究,除了证实黄色假蒴苞苔在我国南方的广泛分布外,发现并描述了２个新种：厚角假蒴苞苔和小假蒴包苔。     

Bryophytes from the southeastern Yukon Territory,Canada

One hundred and forty-five taxa of bryophytes are reported from the extreme southeastern Yukon. Eight species of Hepaticae and 13 of mosses represent new records for the Yukon, which are Calypogeia suecica (S. Arnell & Perss.) K. Müll., Chiloscyphus pallescens (Ehrh.) Dum., Conocephalum conicum (L.) Dum., Jamesoniella autumnalis (DC.) Steph., Pellia neesiana (Gott.) Limpr., Ptilidium pulcherrimum (Web.) Hampe, Riccardia palmata (Hedw.) Carruth., Tritomaria exsecta (Schmid.) Schiffn., Amblystegium varium (Hedw.) Lindb., Brachythecium rivulare B.S.G., B. rutabulum (Hedw.) B.S.G., Bryum blindii B.S.G., Didymodon rigidulus Hedw., D. tophaceus (Brid.) Lisa, Drepanocladus trichophyllus (Warnst.) Podp., Hygroamblystegium noterophilum (Sull. & Lesq. ex Sull.) Warnst., Hygrohypnum molle (Hedw.) Loeske, Plagiomnium ciliare (C. Müll.) Kop., P. cuspidatum (Hedw.) Kop., Platydictya minutissimum (Sull. & Lesq. ex Sull.) Crum, and Pylaisiella selwynii (Kindb.) Crum, Steere & Anderson. Many of the other collections represent wide extensions of range within the Yukon Territory.
