蚕蛹油对大鼠非酒精性脂肪肝形成的影响   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
目的观察蚕蛹油对高脂大鼠模型的非酒精性脂肪肝形成的影响。方法SD大鼠100只,雌雄各半,按体重并参考血脂水平随机分为9组:空白对照组,高脂对照组,预防低剂量组,预防中剂量组,预防高剂量组,治疗低剂量组,治疗中剂量组,治疗高剂量组,及阳性对照组(月见草油),分别喂饲各种饲料。于第11周处死大鼠,检测肝脏的肝重指数和肝脏甘油三酯(triglyceride,TG)、总胆固醇(total cholesterol,TC)、丙二醛(malondialde-hyde,MDA)水平。结果实验11周末,预防组、治疗组和阳性对照组大鼠的肝重指数,肝脏TG、TC及MDA水平均明显低于高脂对照组(P<0.05),并具有剂量依赖性。结论蚕蛹油可通过调整脂质代谢,具有十分显著的预防和治疗非酒精性脂肪肝形成的效果,优于月见草油。  相似文献

Dry wt, total oil and fatty acid composition of the oil was determined during kernel development of three maize inbreds. There was significant variability among these inbreds for duration and rate of dry wt, oil and fatty acid accumulation. Relative quantities of the component fatty acids changed as the kernels developed. Palmitic and linolenic decreased while oleic and stearic increased with maturity. Inbred C103, the higher oil inbred, appeared to accumulate oil over a longer period of time while inbred Hy2, the lower oil inbred, accumulated oil over a shorter period of time. However, the latter had higher daily rates of synthesis for some of the unsaturated fatty acids.  相似文献

采用田间实验的方法,研究了在复合污染土壤上石灰+Ca、Mg、P肥处理对重金属迁移、积累的影响及重金属的作物效应.结果表明,在污染土壤上采用石灰+Ca、Mg、P肥处理可减少重金属向作物籽实的迁移和积累,特别是Cd、Ph、As3元素;改性以后,水稻、小麦Cd吸收量比改性前降低了31.5—55%.4种作物对Ph的吸收量降低了23.4-57.8%,Cu、Zn吸收量略有降低.水稻As吸收量增加了56.8%,小麦、大豆As吸收量减少61.8-81.1%.重金属在土壤中存在的形态发生了变化,Cd、Ph、Zn交换态百分含量不同程度地有所减少,而碳酸盐结合态有所增加,可被植物吸收利用的有效含量降低.  相似文献

Germinated oil palm seeds were placed in special trays in the field and at different intervals the haustoria were harvested. Changes in haustorial lipids were followed until the eighth week after germination. The moisture content decreased while the lipids increased. The haustorial fatty acid profile was similar to that of the palm kernel. Changes in fatty acid composition at different weeks after germination were observed. Three experiments were conducted with day-old broiler chicks reared to 18 or 19 d of age. The objective was to examine the effects of dietary oil (cottonseed oil vs fish oil), dietary antioxidant (0 vs 75 ppm ethoxyquin), and dietary lead (0 vs 1000 ppm Pb as lead acetate trihydrate) on hepatic fatty acid composition. A 2×2 factorial arrangement was used in all experiments. In Experiment 1, the factors were oil (4% of each) and Pb. In Experiments 2 and 3, the factors were ethoxyquin and Pb in diets containing 3.5% cottonseed oil (Experiment 2) or 3.5% fish oil (Experiment 3). Hepatic fatty acid profiles were measured by gas-liquid chromatography in 10 chicks/treatment (Experiment 1) or 4 chicks/treatment (Experiments 2 and 3). Dietary oils altered the profiles, with cottonseed oil producing the higher values for linoleic acid (18∶2) and arachidonic acid (20∶4). With fish oil, in addition to the lower levels of 18∶2 and 20∶4, there were significant levels of eicosapentaenoic acid (20∶5) and docosahexaenoic acid (22∶6). Pb enhanced the levels of 20∶4, but the effect was greater with cottonseed oil diets compared with fish oil diets. The enhanced 20∶4 levels resulted in lower ratios of 18∶2/20∶4. Ethoxyquin enhanced the level of 18∶2 with the cottonseed oil diet, and of 20∶5 and 22∶6 with the fish oil diet. Ethoxyquin decreased the level of hepatic 20∶4 when fish oil was fed. The results clearly show that all three factors (oil type, Pb level, and ethoxyquin level) after hepatic fatty acid composition. Both oil source and Pb level appeared to exert an effect on the metabolic conversion of 18∶2 and 20∶4. The primary effect of ethoxyquin was to enhance the levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids in liver. The data do not allow the partitioning of possible ethoxyquin effects to protection of polyunsaturated acids in feed vs protection of polyunsaturated acids in liver tissue. The purpose of this investigation was to determine whether diets supplemented with oils from three different marine sources, all of which contain high proportions of long-chain n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), result in qualitatively distinct lipid and fatty acid profiles in guinea pig heart. Albino guinea pigs (14 days old) were fed standard, nonpurified guinea pig diets (NP) or NP supplemented with menhaden fish oil (MO), harp seal oil (SLO) or porbeagle shark liver oil (PLO) (10%, w/w) for 4-5 weeks. An n-6 PUFA control group was fed NP supplemented with corn oil (CO). All animals appeared healthy, with weight gains marginally lower in animals fed the marine oils. Comparison of relative organ weights indicated that only the livers responded to the diets, and that they were heavier only in the marine-oil fed guinea pigs. Heart total cholesterol levels were unaffected by supplementing NP with any of the oils, whereas all increased the triacylglycerol (TAG) content. The fatty-acid profiles of totalphospholipid (TPL), TAG and free fatty acid (FFA) fractions of heart lipids showed that feeding n-3 PUFA significantly altered the proportions of specific fatty-acid classes. For example, all marine-oil-rich diets were associated with increases in total monounsaturated fatty acids in TPL (p < 0.05), and with decreases in total saturates in TAG (p < 0.05). Predictably, the n-3 PUFA enriched regimens significantly increased the cardiac content of n-3 PUFA and decreased that of n-6 PUFA, although the extent varied among the diets. As a result, n-6/n-3 ratios were significantly lower in all myocardial lipid classes of marine-oil-fed guinea pigs. Analyses of the profiles of individual PUFA indicated that quantitatively, the fatty acids of the three marine oils were metabolized and/or incorporated into TPL, TAG and FFA in a diet-specific manner. In animals fed MO-enriched diets in which eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) > docosahexacnoic acid (DHA), ratios of DHA /EPA in the hearts were 1.2, 2.2 and 1.5 in TPL, TAG and FFA, respectively. In SLO-fed guinea pigs in which dietary EPA DHA, ratios of DHA/EPA were 0.9, 3.4 and 2.1 in TPL, TAG and FFA, respectively. Feeding NP + PLO (DHA/EPA = 4.8), resulted in values for DHA/EPA in cardiac tissue of 2.1, 10.6 and 2.9 in TPL, TAG and FFA, respectively. In the TAG and FFA, proportions of n-3 docosapentaenoic acid (n-3 DPA) were equal to or higher than EPA in the SLO- and PLO-fed animals. The latter group exhibited the greatest difference between the DHA/n-3 DPA ratio in the diet and in cardiac TAG and FFA fractions (7, 3.4 and 3.1, respectively). Quantitative analysis indicated that 85% of the n-3 PUFA were in TPL, 7-11% were in TAG, and 2-6% were FFA. Specific patterns of distribution of EPA, DPA and DHA depended on the dietary oil. Both the qualitative and quantitative results of this study demonstrated that in guinea pigs, n-3 PUFA in different marine oils are metabolized and/or incorporated into cardiac lipids in distinct manners. In support of the concept that the diet-induced alterations reflect changes specifically in cardiomyocytes, we observed that direct supplementation of cultured guinea pig myocytes for 2-3 weeks with EPA or DHA produced changes in the PUFA profiles of their TPL that were qualitatively similar to those observed in tissue from the dietary study. The factors that regulate specific deposition of n-3 PUFA from either dietary oils or individual PUFA are not yet known, however the differences that we observed could in some manner be related to cardiac function and thus their relative potentials as health-promoting dietary fats.  相似文献

Pinus pinea L. is widely disseminated all over the Mediterranean Basin. Qualitatively, P. pinea fatty acid seed composition is identical and typical of the genus Pinus. This composition is made of unsaturated oil with several unusual polymethylene-interrupted unsaturated fatty acids. Linoleic acid is the major fatty acid followed by oleic, palmitic and stearic acids. Quantitatively, for all Mediterranean populations, total amounts of fatty acids seem to be fairly constant and independent from their origin. When applying principal component analysis, it seems that there is not a distinct geographical variability. Tunisian populations appear to be integral part of the Mediterranean populations without any particular structuring. Taking into account this research and the data reported in the literature, we can confirm that P. pinea expresses no significant variability. This low genetic diversity revealed by fatty acid composition can be explained by anthropogenetic diffusion of genetically homogeneous reproductive material as early as the first explorations.  相似文献

This study investigates the anatomical aspects of heavy-metal accumulation in the waterlily (Nymphaea `Aurora', Nymphaeaceae). Epidermal glands were identified by light microscopy on the abaxial side of the leaf laminae and on the epidermis of the rhizome; glandular trichomes were observed in the petiole epidermis. Glands were not observed in the roots. Accumulation of heavy metals in these glands was monitored using a scanning electron microscope equipped for energy-dispersive spectroscopy. Further experiments showed maximal cadmium and calcium accumulation in the mature leaf lamina in daylight, and this accumulation was inhibited by the herbicide 3-(3′,4′-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea. These results suggest that, in Nymphaea, heavy metals are accumulated primarily in association with glands found in plant organs that have direct contact with water or mud. Deposition and storage of heavy metals by these glands may represent a stage in the sequestration and detoxification of the metals. Our results raise the possibility of utilizing waterlilies for the removal of heavy metals from polluted environments. Received: 29 April 2000 / Accepted: 8 June 2000  相似文献

The objective was to determine the effect of long-term dietary supplementation of two types of fish oil on lipid composition and steroidogenesis in adult pig testis. Twenty-four Duroc boars, aged 204.5 ± 9.4 d (body weight 128.1 ± 16.7 kg) received daily 2.5 kg of an iso-caloric basal diet supplemented with: 1) 62 g of hydrogenated animal fat (AF); 2) 60 g of menhaden oil (MO) containing 16% of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 18% of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA); or 3) 60 g of tuna oil (TO) containing 7% of EPA and 33% of DHA. After these diets were consumed for 7 mo, testicular hormones, phospholipid content, and fatty acid composition of individual phospholipids in testis were determined. Body and reproductive organ weights were not significantly affected by dietary treatments. Testicular tissue from boars fed a TO diet, followed by those receiving MO and AF diets, had the lowest level of phosphatidylethanolamine (TO < MO < AF; P < 0.01) but the highest sphingomyelin (TO > MO > AF; P < 0.01). For each phospholipid, boars fed either the MO or TO diet had increased total omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA (P < 0.01), by reciprocal replacement of total omega-6 fatty acids (20:4n-6, 22:5n-6). The MO diet increased EPA more than the other diets. Testicular concentrations of testosterone and estradiol were lower in boars fed a TO diet than a MO diet (P < 0.02). In conclusion, long-term dietary supplementation of fish oil, regardless of the EPA/DHA ratio, modified the fatty acid compositions in testis and affected steroid production of healthy adult boars, which may represent a promising models for future studies on fertility.  相似文献

The effect of long-term mercury pollution on the soil microbial community   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The effect of long-term exposure to mercury on the soil microbial community was investigated in soil from three different sites along a pollution gradient. The amount of total and bioavailable mercury was negatively correlated to the distance from the center of contamination. The size of the bacterial and protozoan populations was reduced in the most contaminated soil, whereas there was no significant difference in fungal biomass measured as chitinase activity. Based on the number of colony morphotypes, moreover, the culturable bacterial population was structurally less diverse and contained a higher proportion of resistant and fast-growing forms. The profiles of amplified 16S rDNA sequences obtained from community DNA by denaturating gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) also reflected the altered community structure and decreased diversity along the mercury gradient as expressed in terms of the number and abundance of bands. The functional potential of the microbial population measured as sole carbon source utilization by Ecoplates((R)) differed between the soils, but there was no change in the number of substrates utilized. The observed changes in the different soil microbial populations are probably a combination of both direct and indirect effects of the mercury contamination.  相似文献

The selection of appropriate seeds is essential for the success of phytoremediation/restoration projects. In this research, the growth and elements uptake by the offspring of mesquite plants (Prosopis sp.) grown in a copper mine tailing (site seeds, SS) and plants derived from vendor seeds (VS) was investigated. Plants were grown in a modified Hoagland solution containing a mixture of Cu, Mo, Zn, As(III) and Cr(VI) at 0, 1, 5 and 10 mg L−1 each. After one week, plants were harvested and the concentration of elements was determined by using ICP-OES. At 1 mg L−1, plants originated from SS grew faster and longer than control plants (0 mg L−1); whereas plants grown from VS had opposite response. At 5 mg L−1, 50% of the plants grown from VS did not survive, while plants grown from SS had no toxicity effects on growth. Finally, plants grown from VS did not survive at 10 mg L−1 treatment, whilst 50% of the plants grown from SS survived. The ICP-OES data demonstrated that at 1 mg L−1 the concentration of all elements in SS plants was significantly higher compared to control plants and VS plants. While at 5 mg L−1, the shoots of SS plants had significantly more Cu, Mo, As, and Cr. The results suggest that SS could be a better source of plants intended to be used for phytoremediation of soil impacted with Cu, Mo, Zn, As and Cr.  相似文献

Effects of metal contamination on microbial biomass in sediment samples from three areas in Palestine Lake (one area highly polluted with chromium, cadmium and zinc) were determined. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) concentrations, determined by the luciferin-luciferase bioluminescent technique, and microbial colony numbers on pour plates were used as biomass indicators. Plate counts showed a significant (P < 0.01) site effect with the highly contaminated area having an order of magnitude lower microbial population than the control area. ATP concentrations also indicated lower microbial biomass in contaminated sediments. The metal concentrations of the most contaminated area averaged 17,840 µg Zn/g, 4380 µg Cr/g and 585 µg Cd/g based on dry weight of sediments. A suppression of organic decomposition was evident in the impacted area; high metal levels and resultant low microbial biomass may have been causative.  相似文献

测定了4种土壤(红壤、草甸棕壤、暗棕壤和栗钙土)条件下,Cu,Zn,Pb和Cd单一污染对小麦种子发芽与根伸长抑制主及其复合污染效应(暗棕壤条件下)。结果表明,同一浓度下,重金属对小麦根伸长抑制率均明显大于对种子发芽抑制率,植物根对金属污染的生态毒性比种子发芽敏感,土壤有机质和土壤N含量与Cu,Zn,Pb和Cd污染对小麦根伸长抑制率显著负相关(R^2OR=0.91,R^2K-N=0.92),土壤PH和阳离子交换量与Cu,Zn,Pb和Cd污染对小麦根伸长抑制率的相关性不显著(R^2PH=0.62,R^2CEC=0.60),在单一污染对小麦根伸长为刺激作用浓度(较低浓度)或为抑制作用浓度下(较高浓度),复合污染均表现为协同作用。^  相似文献

研究了安徽南陵凤丹园1~5年连续种植地中凤丹根际土壤的理化性质和几种酶活性的变化规律。结果表明:所有种植年限的凤丹根际土壤pH值均小于非种植土壤(p〈0.05)。全N、全P、全K、有机质等理化性质及酶活性(脲酶,硝酸还原酶,多酚氧化酶和蛋白酶)均显著高于非种植土壤(p〈0.05)。各年限根际土壤的脲酶,硝酸还原酶,多酚氧化酶和蛋白酶的R/S值均大于1,显示凤丹对4种根际土壤酶酶活性影响为正效应。连作5年凤丹和1年生凤丹根际土壤相比多酚氧化酶,脲酶和蛋白酶的活性分别下降了64.84%、52.55%、51.59%(均p〈0.05);连作5年和2年相比,硝酸还原酶下降了23.26%(p〈0.05),同时土壤全N、全P、全K和有机质分别下降了57.84%,36.76%,47.89%和19.84%(p〈0.05)。说明随凤丹连作,土壤中积累的根系分泌物对4种土壤酶活性表现出抑制作用,可能影响了土壤的理化性质。为揭示凤丹连作障碍的机理提供了实验依据。  相似文献

用组织培养的香根草无菌苗作为试验材料,进行香根草对Cd、Cr、Pb和Ni四种重金属离子的富集能力比较试验,分别测定了香根草体内的重金属含量、香根草与重金属元素的相关性、香根草对重金属的富集系数和根系滞留率.结果表明:香根草对四种重金属离子都具有较高的富集能力.其中,香根草植物体中元素总含量表现为Ni>Cr>Pb>Cd,在茎叶和根中的分含量,均表现为根>茎叶;香根草与重金属元素的关系中,Cd的相关性最显著;富集系数与重金属浓度呈负相关,以Ni最为明显;从滞留率的角度来看,以Cr在香根草根系的滞留率最大,但对同一种重金属来说,随浓度的变化,香根草根系对它的滞留率却几乎是恒定的.  相似文献

Triplicate groups of European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax L.), of initial mass 5 g, were fed one of three practical type diets for 64 weeks. The three diets differed only in the added oil and were 100% fish oil (FO; diet A), 40% FO/60% vegetable oil blend (VO; diet B) where the VO blend was rapeseed oil, linseed oil and palm oil in the ratio 10/35/15 by weight and 40% FO/60% VO blend (diet C) where the ratio was 24/24/12 by weight. After final sample collection the remaining fish were switched to a 100% FO finishing diet for a further 20 weeks. After 64 weeks fish fed 60% VO diet B had significantly lower live mass and liver mass than fish fed diets A and C although SGR, FCR and length were not different between groups. There were no differences in any of the above parameters after either 14 or 20 weeks on the FO finishing diet. Fatty acid compositions of flesh were correlated to dietary fatty acids although there was selective retention of docosahexaenoic acid (22:6n-3; DHA) regardless of dietary input. Inclusion of dietary VO resulted in significantly reduced flesh levels of DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (20:5n-3; EPA) while 18:1n-9, 18:2n-6 and 18:3n-3 were all significantly increased in fish fed the 60% VO diets. Fatty acid compositions of liver showed broadly similar changes, as a result of dietary fatty acid composition, as was seen in flesh. However, the response of flesh and liver to feeding a FO finishing diet was different. In flesh, DHA and EPA values were not restored after 14 or 20 weeks of feeding a FO finishing diet with the values in fish fed the two 60% VO diets being around 70% of the values seen in fish fed FO throughout. Conversely, and despite liver DHA and EPA levels being reduced to only 40% of the value seen in fish fed 100% FO after 64 weeks, the levels of liver DHA and EPA were not significantly different between treatments after feeding the FO finishing diet for 14 weeks. However, a 200 g portion of sea bass flesh, after feeding the experimental diets for 64 weeks followed by a FO diet for 14 weeks, contained 1.22 and 0.95 g of EPA + DHA for fish fed FO or 60% VO, respectively. Therefore, sea bass grown for most of the production cycle using diets containing 60% VO can still contribute a significant quantity of healthy n-3 HUFA to the human consumer.  相似文献

Four gramineous energy plants, Miscanthus sacchariflorus, M. floridulus, Phragmites australis, and Arundo donax were grown on copper tailings in the field for four years. Their phytoremediation potential was examined in terms of their effects on the fractions of heavy metals and soil enzyme activities. Results showed that plantation of these four gramineous plants has improved the proportion of organic material (OM)-binding fraction of heavy metals in copper tailings as a whole, and reduced the proportion of exchangeable and residual fractions. In particular, M. sacchariflorus growth improved significantly the proportion of the OM-binding fractions of Cu (1.73 times), Cd (1.71 times), Zn (1.18 times), and Pb (3.14 times) (P < 0.05) and reduced markedly the residual fractions of Cu (64.45%), Cd (82.38%), Zn (61.43%), and Pb (73.41%) (P < 0.05). Except for A. donax, the growth of other three energy plants improved the activity of phosphatase, urease and dehydrogenase in copper tailings to some extent. In particular, the activity of soil phosphatase and urease in planted tailings differed significantly from that of control (P < 0.05). The effect of M. sacchariflorus growth on soil enzyme was the highest, followed by P. australis, M. floridulus, and A. donax. The content of each heavy metal fraction in soil was correlated with soil enzyme activities, especially the content of OM-binding fraction, which correlated significantly with the activities of phosphatase, urease and dehydrogenase in soil. According to the effects of four gramineous plants growth on activity of soil enzymes and fractions of heavy metals, M. sacchariflorus had the optimal effects for phytoremediation. Therefore, M. sacchariflorus was a candidate plant with great potential for the revegetation of heavy metal tailings.  相似文献

Male weanling Wistar rats were maintained on one of two semisynthetic diets, differing only in the type of oil used: (i) 10% by weight marine fish oil (MFO group) containing 20% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 17% docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), or (ii) 10% by weight sunflower oil (SFO group). The control group was kept on standard diet for 4 weeks. Blood-free microvessels were isolated from brain cortex by a rapid micromethod, and their fatty acid composition was determined by gas chromatography. It was found that the proportion of n-3 fatty acids (including EPA and DHA) increased significantly in the microvessels of the MFO group, accompanied by a decrease of the n-6 fatty acid series. The changes in fatty acid composition of endothelial cells were not significant in the SFO group in comparison to the control. The amounts of lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase metabolites were determined. Dietary fish oil decreased the percentage of total products of arachidonate by 50%, while the SFO diet had no effect on it. The amount of lipoxygenase products in the MFO group decreased significantly from 16931±3131 dpm to 6399±357 dpm/300 mg wet weight of brain. Significantly less PGF-1, PGF-2 and 12-hydroxyhepta-decatrienoic acid (HHT) were found in the capillaries of MFO treated animals, in comparison to the SFO group. The ratios of vasoconstrictor and vasodilator metabolites of arachidonate cascade were not modifed by the diets. Our results suggest that fish oil diet reduces the arachidonate cascade in cerebral microvessels. This effect may explain for the efficiency of n-3 fatty acids in vascular diseases.  相似文献
