A new indolosesquiterpene alkaloid, polyavolinamide, has been identified in the stem of Polyathia suaveolens accompanied by the three previously isolated indolosesquiterpene alkaloids, polyavolensin, polyavolensinol, polyavolensinone, as well as an unidentified triterpene and an aporhine alkaloids. Polyavolinamide was also the major component of the root bark. Its structure was assigned on the basis of 11H and 13C NMR, and mass spectrometry.  相似文献

The structure of catharinensine isolated from Peschiera catharinensis was deduced from a detailed analysis of its 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectra. The synthesis of 17-demethoxyrhynchophylline confirmed its structure, and led us to suggest the configuration allo A for catharinensine. Coronaridine, isovoacangine, heyneanine, 16-epiaffinine, decarbomethoxyvoacamine and conodurine were also isolated.  相似文献

Bark of Virola sebifera used in the preparation of hallucinogenic snuffs and drinks in Venezuela has yielded N-methyl-N-formyltryptamine and N-methyl-N-acetyltryptamine, which exist in two rotameric forms reflecting hindered rotation around the carbon—nitrogen bond of the amide function. They were detected by HPLC as well as NMR. 2-Methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β-carboline, N,N-dimethyltryptamine, its oxide and N-monomethyltryptamine were also identified.  相似文献

Recent screening of South African Conium species for alkaloids as part of taxonomic studies has yielded γ-coniceine, coniine, methylconiine, conhydrine and a new alkaloid N-methylpseudoconhydrine. The relative stereochemistry of N-methylpseudoconhydrine was ascertained by 1H NMR decoupling experiments. This latter alkaloid was found in significant amounts in the leaf and stem of some plants investigated and was the major alkaloid along with conhydrine in the leaf and stem of one group of high altitude plants. These plants also contained significant amounts of volatile oil, the major monoterpene being myrcene.  相似文献

Lily (Lilium auratum) pollen contains very high levels of β-galactosidase. There are three forms: β-galactosidase I and II differ in Mr, while β-galactosidase III is firmly bound in the pollen wall. The two cytoplasmic forms were separated and partially purified using a combination of chromatography on DEAE-cellulose, Sephadex G-200 and Sepharose 6B. Forms I and II appear to be glycoprotein in nature as shown by binding to Con A-Sepharose. The three enzymes were optimally active near pH 4, and all were inhibited by galactose and galactonolactone. The wall-bound enzyme, β-galactosidase III effectively hydrolysed nitrophenyl β-galactosidase but not lactose, and could not be released from the wall polysaccharide matrix by high salt concentrations or detergents. The total β-galactosidase activity of lily pollen remained constant during in vitro germination. A possible role for this enzyme may be in degradation of stylar arabinogalactans providing a carbon source for pollen tube nutrition.  相似文献

Feeding and trapping experiments to Peganum harmala callus cultures were limited by compartmentation; exogenous substrates were detoxified by precipitation, presumably as polymers or conjugates, or by conversion to water-soluble products, such as phenols and glucosides, easily stored in vacuoles. Alkaloid-producing and non-alkaloid-producing callus cultures were readily able to convert tryptamine to 5-hydroxytryptamine and harmaline to dihydroruine (8-hydroxyglucosylharmaline). Phenolic substrates, including 5- and 6-hydroxy-tryptophan, 5- and 6-hydroxytryptamine and harmalol, were not metabolized. In alkaloid-producing callus cultures, radioactivity from [methylene-14C]-l-tryptophan and [methyl-14C-]-harmaline was incorporated into harmine. The dilution of radioactivity was 30000- and 2-fold respectively.  相似文献

The known compounds chrysoeriol, apigenin, luteolin, acacetin, scutellarein, 6-methoxyluteolin, apigenin 7-glucoside, luteolin 7-glucoside, esculetin, chrysophanol, asphodeline, mircocarpin, sitosterol, 1-β-acetoxyeudesman-4(15),7(11)dien-2α,12-olide and 1-β-acetoxy-8β-hydroxyeudesman-4(15),7(11)-dien-8α,12-olide were isolated from Asphodeline globifera and A. damascena. A new sesquiterpene lactone 1-β-acetoxy-8β-ethoxyeudesman-4(15),7(11)dien-8α, 12-olide was also characterized. These are the first reports of sesquiterpene lactones in Asphodeline and in the Liliaceae.  相似文献
