The investigation and reinvestigation respectively of 23 Senecio species afforded 11 further cacalol derivatives, a furoeremophilone, 17 eremophilanes, 4 bisabolene derivatives, a shikimic acid derivative, a bis-prenylated p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, menth-2-en- 1,7-diol and a cumol derivative. The configuration of some eremophilanes have been revised. Structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The results are summarized in a table. The chemotaxonomic aspects agree with those of previous investigations.  相似文献

Aerial parts of Helianthus debilis subsp. cucumerifolius, H. occidentalis and H. simulans afforded a variety of known and some unknown ent-kauranoic acids. H. occidentalis gave, in addition, ciliaric acid and a new biogenetically related atisane derivative occidentalic acid. H. simulans gave the heliangolide leptocarpin and the flavone hymenoxin in addition to ent-kauranes. Several of the diterpenoids from these species inhibited larval growth of the sunflower moth.  相似文献

Free amino acids in the seeds of 80 species of Acacia have been determined. In addition to confirming the known difference in seed amino acid ‘patterns’ shown by species of the series Gummiferae on the one hand and species of the series Phyllodineae and Botryocephalae on the other, we have found that species of the series Vulgares Benth. show two additional ‘patterns’. One of these is common to some of the Afro-Asian species of the series which have been analysed and the other is common to species from America and Africa. One of the ‘marker’ amino acids of the Afro-Asian group is the neurotoxic lathyrogen α-amino-β-oxalylaminopropionic acid. The possible taxonomic and phylogenetic significance of these results is discussed, with special reference to five species A. albida, A. confusa, A. heterophylla, A. coulteri and A. kauaiensis.  相似文献

From the leaves of Enkianthus campanulatus were isolated three new triterpenes, 3-oxo-19,23,24-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid, 3β,6β, 19,23-tetrahydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid and 3β,6β,23-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid.  相似文献

Sterols were extracted from the lichens Lobaria pulmonaria, Lobaria scrobiculata and Usnea longissima with chloroform-methanol (2:1) (solvent-extractable fraction) followed by saponification of the residual lichen material to give a tightly-bound sterol fraction. The compounds were principally ergosterol, episterol, fecosterol and lichesterol with minor quantities of C17, C28 and C29 monoenes and dienes of the phytosterol type.  相似文献

Abscisic acid and its novel metabolise, which was a conjugated form of hydroxyabscisic acid (Metabolite C), were isolated from seeds of Robinia pseudacacia L. The structure of the conjugate was shown to be (+)-3-methyl-5 - [1(S),6(R) - 2,6 - dimethyl - 1 - hydroxy - 6 - (3 - hydroxy - 3 - methyl - 4 - carboxybutanoyloxymethyl) - 4 - oxo-cyclohex-2-enyl]-2-Z-4-E-pentadienoic acid and tentatively named β-hydroxy-β-methylglutarylhydroxyabscisic acid.  相似文献

The structures of six hexaoxygenated guaianolides esterified with four non isomeric carboxylic acids have been established by 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The acyl residues have been located by chemical ionisation mass spectrometry. Some of the acyl residues are novel for sesquiterpene lactones. The acyl residues in two additional guaianolides esterified with isomeric acids have been located by partial hydrolysis.  相似文献

Acid hydrolysis of the saponins from the stem bark of Guaiacum officinale yielded the new sapogenin 3β,20η-dihydroxy-30-norolean-12-en-28-oic acid and the artifacts 3β-hydroxy-30-norolean-12,19-dien-28-oic acid and its methyl ester. Extracts from leaves and first internodes of Sorghum bicolor catalyze the conversion of ferulic acid to a β-β-coupled dimer, the dilactone dimer of ferulic acid. The dilactone is then hydrolyzed, probably non-enzymatically, to a blue fluorescing compound, tentatively identified as a β-β-coupled dimer with at least one lactone ring opened to form a carboxylic acid. Both the initial enzymatic and the subsequent non-enzymatic steps are greater at pH 8 than pH 6. The most active preparation is a crude particulate fraction from leaves obtained by centrifugation at 37000 g; white light increases the amount of dimer formed.  相似文献

The structures and isolation of eight compounds from Dalbergia monetaria seeds are described. Four of them are known rotenoids. In addition to a new isoflavone and its 7-β-D-glucoside, the first 12-dihydrorotenone, 12-dihydrodalbinol, and its 8′-β-D-glucoside were identified.  相似文献

Ether extracts of Colubrina granulosa heartwood yield the polyphenolic coumaranone maesopsin and 3 pentacyclic triterpene acids of the lup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid group, alphitolic, betulinic and ceanothic acids. Two new compounds, granulosic and colubrinic acids, which belong to a very small class of A ring contracted triterpenes were also isolated. The co-occurrence of maesopsin, alphitolic, betulinic and ceanothic acids suggests that C. granulosa (from Panama) may be closely related or identical to the Australian species, Alphitonia whitei, in which these relatively rare compounds also occur.  相似文献

The investigation of seven Clibadium species resulted in the isolation of a new germacrolide from C. surinamense, trans-β-bergamotene, a new sesquiterpene from C. asperum and a new C-17 acetylenic alcohol from C. glomeratum. Five known acetylenic compounds were present in some members of the genus. In good agreement with morphological data, the presence of ichthyothereol and its acetate in several members of Clibadium suggest affiliation with the genus Ichthyothere within the subtribe Milleriinae (Heliantheae-Compositae).  相似文献

The diterpene acid content in 10 species of Helianthus has been investigated. Ent-12,16-cyclokauranoic acid, isolated from H. annuus, is converted into a series of 12,16-cyclogibberellins by cultures of Gibberella fujikuroi, mutant B1-41a, and 12,16-cyclogibberellins A9, and A12 have been isolated. Ent-12β-acetoxykaurenoic acid and ent-13(S)-angeloxyatisenoic acid have been isolated from H. decapetalus; the metabolism of ent-13(S)-hydroxyatisenoic acid and atisenoic acid by B1-41a is also described.  相似文献

Seven flavonoids have been isolated from the seeds of Lonchocarpus costaricensis of which four appear to be novel. The new compounds have been identified as the β-hydroxychalcone demethylpraecansone-B and the flavanones 7-(3,3-dimethylallyloxy)-8-(3-hydroxy-3-methyl-trans-but-1-enyl)flavanone, 7-(3,3-dimethylallyloxy)-8-(3,3-dimethylallyl)-5-methoxyflavanone and 8-(3,3-dimethylallyl)-5,7-dimethoxyflavanone.  相似文献
