长喙毛茛泽泻茶陵种群呈斑块分布,格局类型为聚集分布型,每个亚种群也呈聚集分布,但聚集强度不同。长喙毛茛泽泻与其几个主要伴生种的相关性经测定结果是:与莼菜及黄花狸藻之间的相关性不显著;与柳叶箬、双穗雀稗及石龙尾之间正相关显著;与疏勿蓼之间负相关显著,长喙毛茛泽泻种子近距离传播以及无性繁殖特性是造成其聚集分布的主要原因。柳叶箬、双穗雀稗和石龙尾对长喙毛茛泽泻具有极强的竞争作用。  相似文献

本文研究人类改造荒漠的活动,植被,潜在的可利用的食物资源,竞争种的密度,土壤理化性质等坏境因子对荒漠沙蜥种群密度的影响。结果说明:人类的活动对沙蜥种群密度没有显著影响;决定沙蜥种群密度的主导因子是潜在的可利用的食物资源,植被,土壤含水量,竞争种的密度。这些因子的任何改变都能改变沙蜥的种群密度,均具有调节种群的作用。  相似文献

在野外围栏条件下,采用重复的2×2×2析因实验设计,测定食物、捕食和竞争物种黑线姬鼠对东方田鼠攻击行为作用的格局。东方田鼠各处理种群攻击水平与其种群密度的相关甚为复杂,与Chitty多态行为假设的预测不一致。东方田鼠双冲突个体间的攻击水平与其体重的相关不显著,而与冲突个体的体重差异则呈显著的负相关,体重差异越大,冲突个体间的攻击水平越低。雄体攻击水平与其繁殖特征无显著的相关关系,而雌体间攻击水平则受繁殖状态的影响,动情雌体间的攻击水平显著地高于非动情雌体。体重差异和食物对雄体的攻击行为具有极显著的独立作用,捕食和种间竞争对雄体攻击行为的独立作用不显著,而捕食与种间竞争交互作用对雄体攻击行为的效应则达到显著水平。体重差异、食物、捕食和种间竞争对动情雌体的攻击水平均有极显著的独立作用,3类外部因子交互作用的效应达到极显著水平;而3类外部因子交互作用对非动情雌体攻击行为的效应则不显著。结果检验了外部因子食物、捕食、种间竞争对田鼠类动物种群攻击行为具有独立和累加的整合效应的假设。  相似文献

为明确东北红豆杉野生种群维持的关键制约因素,制定现有种群的保护策略与技术环节,本研究调查了我国主要分布区内东北红豆杉野生种群的更新状况与分布格局,分析了林分因子与人为干扰对种群更新与维持的影响。结果表明:目前我国东北红豆杉野生种群整体更新情况较差,更新个体的径级与高度级结构呈现出不健康的状态,但有19%区域更新较好,种群整体表现为成树少更新差、成树多更新差、成树少但更新较好3种类型。东北红豆杉所在群落可以划分为臭冷杉+紫椴林、杂木林、兴安鱼鳞云杉+臭冷杉林,其中臭冷杉+紫椴林的更新数量显著多于杂木林;林分密度增加与适度的人为干扰对东北红豆杉更新有一定的促进作用,林分由低密度增到中等密度时东北红豆杉更新幼苗数量显著增加,所在生境受到适度干扰的种群更新数量显著多于轻度干扰下的种群。人为干扰和栖息地生境是目前东北红豆杉野生种群维持与更新的关键制约因素。东北红豆杉的保护应基于各生境斑块种群的更新现状制定相应的就地保护和回归保护等措施,并在保护过程中重点考虑干扰和生境条件等关键因素的影响。  相似文献

为探索棉蚜初始密度对其种群过程的影响,在棉田控制1和20头·叶-1 2个初始密度,通过尼龙网纱袋构建在封闭(套袋)与开放(不套袋)条件下,监测棉蚜在不同初始密度和不同环境条件下种群动态.结果表明:初始密度越大,棉蚜种群峰值越高,封闭条件和开放条件棉蚜种群峰值没有显著性差异;初始密度越大种群高峰期越早,开放条件比封闭条件种群高峰期提前;封闭条件下,初始密度越大,种群崩溃越快.种群发展初期,初始密度越小,种群增长率越大,开放条件比封闭条件棉蚜种群增长快;种群高峰期和崩溃期,不同初始密度棉蚜种群增长率没有显著差异.初始密度影响有翅蚜形成,初始密度越大,有翅蚜比例越高;但封闭条件和开放条件有翅蚜比例没有显著性差异.  相似文献

为了解南方红豆杉迁地保护种群的适应性进化机制,以南京中山植物园内南方红豆杉迁地保护栽培种群和扩散的衍生种群为材料,以引种初始地江西野生种群为对照,对南方红豆杉群落的结构、遗传多样性及遗传结构进行分析和研究。结果表明,南方红豆杉野生种群和迁地保护种群均维持着较高水平的遗传多样性,其中野生种群遗传多样性稍高于迁地保护小种群,但迁地保护种群中南方红豆杉个体密度大于野生种群。同时,种群内的遗传变异所占比例大于种群间的。整体来看,南方红豆杉迁地保护种群还处于演替早期,存在不明显的奠基者效应,有进一步演替发展的可能。  相似文献

本文研究了华北棉花-玉米农田景观格局中龟纹瓢虫Propylaea japonica(Thunberg)和异色瓢虫Harmonia axyridis(Pallas)种群动态,发现农田景观格局中作物类型(棉花与玉米)对两种瓢虫种群密度动态有显著的影响,两种天敌瓢虫都趋向在玉米斑块上栖息。两种瓢虫在棉花斑块上呈现出时间分化,其中龟纹瓢虫在棉花种植的前中期种群密度较大,后期较少;而异色瓢虫在棉花前中期种群密度较少,后期较多,表明农田景观中种植玉米有利于增强瓢虫对棉花害虫的控制作用。进一步的研究表明,农田景观系统中玉米斑块所占的面积比对龟纹瓢虫和异色瓢虫种群密度均产生显著影响。这说明在农田景观系统中开展区域性生态调控的时候,需要考虑到各类斑块组合的面积比例,从而有利于增强多种天敌昆虫的协调控害作用。  相似文献

本研究在野外围栏条件下采用析因实验设计,测定营养、捕食及空间行为对根田鼠(Mi-crotusoeconomus)种群统计特征的影响。本文旨在检验下述特定假设:高质量食物可利用性和捕食对限制小型啮齿动物种群密度具有独立的和累加的效应。3年期间,4种野外实验处理6个重复的研究结果表明,附加食物并预防捕食者处理的种群具有最高密度;未附加食物及不预防捕食者处理(对照)的种群密度最低;而单一处理的种群,其密度居中。不同处理条件下,新生个体在种群的补充模式以及种群瞬时增长率的变化均与种群密度的变动相应一致。双因素ANOVA的结果证明,附加高质量食物能明显地提高根田鼠的种群密度,而对种群补充量的作用则较弱,仅接近显著水平;预防捕食者不仅能显著地作用于种群密度,更能强烈地影响种群补充量。高质量食物和捕食者的作用具有累加的性质,两者的交互作用对种群密度和补充量均无显著影响。  相似文献

为深入了解饵料微藻与赤潮微藻间的种间竞争关系,通过微藻共培养的方法,研究了起始生物量比(1:4、1:1和4:1)对3种海洋微藻(塔玛亚历山大藻、蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻)两两之间种间竞争的影响,并对其作用机制进行了探讨。结果表明:①3种海洋微藻表现出种间竞争的相互抑制效应;②在与塔玛亚历山大藻(简称A)的种间竞争中,蛋白核小球藻(简称C)和湛江等鞭金藻(简称I)均在竞争中占优势,蛋白核小球藻随自身起始生物量比的提高,其竞争优势越加明显,湛江等鞭金藻在A:I=1:1时竞争优势最为明显;在蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻的种间竞争中,当C:I=1:4时,湛江等鞭金藻在竞争中占优势,C:I=1:1时,初期湛江等鞭金藻占竞争优势,随蛋白核小球藻的迅速生长,后期蛋白核小球藻占竞争优势,C:I=4:1时,蛋白核小球藻占绝对竞争优势;③由种间竞争抑制参数比较得出:3种微藻的种间竞争强弱依次为蛋白核小球藻>湛江等鞭金藻>塔玛亚历山大藻。蛋白核小球藻和湛江等鞭金藻在起始比例C:I=1:1时,可共培养利用,在海产经济动物育苗中可对其进行适时采收投喂;两种饵料藻对塔玛亚历山大藻具有明显的抑制作用,可为开发利用饵料藻进行赤潮生物防控提供一定的科学依据。  相似文献

 以3年的野外调查为基础,通过斑块数量、斑块面积、斑块优势度、斑块的大小分布以及斑块转化等各项指标,研究了茶陵普通野生稻(Oryza rufipogon)种群恢复初期的种群动态。作为人工管理下的自然种群,普通野生稻种群在1997~1999年间持续增加,个体数由447丛增加到803丛,4 m2以上的斑块数由19个增加到31个,斑块总面积由268 m2增加到780 m2,斑块在群落中的优势度值由0.0627增加到0.1148。目前,种群以小斑块(面积小于20 m2)为主,种群的斑块大小分布为增长型分布。在斑块转  相似文献

Varying degrees of reduction of genetic diversity in crops relative to their wild progenitors occurred during the process of domestication. Such information, however, has not been available for the Asian cultivated rice (Oryza sativa) despite its importance as a staple food and a model organism. To reveal levels and patterns of nucleotide diversity and to elucidate the genetic relationship and demographic history of O. sativa and its close relatives (Oryza rufipogon and Oryza nivara), we investigated nucleotide diversity data from 10 unlinked nuclear loci in species-wide samples of these species. The results indicated that O. rufipogon and O. nivara possessed comparable levels of nucleotide variation ((sil) = 0.0077 approximately 0.0095) compared with the relatives of other crops. In contrast, nucleotide diversity of O. sativa was as low as (sil) = 0.0024 and even lower ((sil) = 0.0021 for indica and 0.0011 for japonica), if we consider the 2 subspecies separately. Overall, only 20-10% of the diversity in the wild species was retained in 2 subspecies of the cultivated rice (indica and japonica), respectively. Because statistic tests did not reject the assumption of neutrality for all 10 loci, we further used coalescent to simulate bottlenecks under various lengths and population sizes to better understand the domestication process. Consistent with the dramatic reduction in nucleotide diversity, we detected a severe domestication bottleneck and demonstrated that the sequence diversity currently found in the rice genome could be explained by a founding population of 1,500 individuals if the initial domestication event occurred over a 3,000-year period. Phylogenetic analyses revealed close genetic relationships and ambiguous species boundary of O. rufipogon and O. nivara, providing additional evidence to treat them as 2 ecotypes of a single species. Lowest linkage disequilibrium (LD) was found in the perennial O. rufipogon where the r(2) value dropped to a negligible level within 400 bp, and the highest in the japonica rice where LD extended to the entirely sequenced region ( approximately 900 bp), implying that LD mapping by genome scans may not be feasible in wild rice due to the high density of markers needed.  相似文献

In Ips acuminatus (Gyll.) parthenogenetic females occur together with sexual females and with sexual males upon which they depend for sperm. In a reciprocal‐transplant experiment, I studied fecundity differences among parthenogenetic and sexual females from two populations that differ dramatically in the proportion of clonal females. In a second experiment, I studied competition between larvae from different mothers and between females from the two source populations. Fecundity measured by the number of eggs per egg tunnel was influenced by the ambient environment at the sites of the experiment as well as the origin of the female, and was generally higher for clonal than for sexual females at both sites. In experimental groups where larvae competed with larvae from their own population (pure treatments), the number of surviving pupae was significantly lower than in groups where females from the two source populations were mixed. The high fecundity of clonal females makes coexistence of the two types of females difficult to explain. It makes the reproductive advantage associated with clonality in I. acuminatus even higher than the two‐fold difference due to asexuality per sé. The significant differences in the number of pupae in mixed vs. pure groups suggest ecological divergence between sexual and clonal females. This would make the mortality of larvae not only density dependent, but also frequency dependent, which could explain the coexistence of sexual and clonal females.  相似文献

Abstract It has been suggested that parasites are a strong selecting force for their hosts and therefore may alter the outcome of competition among host genotypes. We tested the extent to which parasite-mediated selection by different parasite species influenced competition among clones of the cyclic parthenogen Daphnia magna . We monitored clone frequency changes in laboratory microcosm populations consisting of 21 D. magna clones. Parasite treatments (two microsporidians, Glugoides intestinalis and Ordospora colligata ) and a parasite-free control treatment were followed over a nine-month period. A further treatment with the bacterium Pasteuria ramosa failed. We found significant differences in clonal success among the treatments: the two parasite treatments differed from the control treatment and from each other. Additionally, we measured the clone-specific population carrying capacity, competitive ability against tester clones, and reproductive success of infected and uninfected females to test whether they correlate with clonal success in the microcosms. The clone-specific competitive ability was a good predictor of clonal success in the microcosms, but clonal carrying capacity and host reproductive success were not. Our study shows that parasite-mediated selection can strongly alter the outcome of clonal competition. The results suggest that parasites may influence microevolution in Daphnia populations during periods of asexual reproduction.  相似文献

1. Crowding `info-chemicals', metabolites released into the environment that act as signals to conspecifics as well as other organisms, have often been shown to cause phenotypic plasticity in cladoceran life-history traits including morphology, reproductive strategy and sex induction. Effects on population demography and diversity, however, have not been examined directly.
2. Replicate laboratory populations of the zooplankter, Daphnia magna, were started with 250 juveniles and allowed to develop for 8 weeks in 10 L flow-through aquaria with food levels of 1 mg CL–1. Two crowded water treatments from different clonal sources were compared with untreated water as a control.
3. The presence of crowding chemicals affected initial population structure, through reduction in parthenogenetic female body lengths, brood sizes and juvenile densities. However, the timing of population density maxima and subsequent population structure, clonal composition and diversity were similar among all treatments.
4. Clonal richness remained slightly higher in untreated populations because of increased prevalence of rare clones.
5. Exploitation competition had greater impact on population structure than the relative concentration of crowding chemicals, indicating that density dependent effects were mediated primarily by competition for common resources.
6. Crowding info-chemicals may play a greater role in community structure than in single species population structure because of taxonomic diversity in species' response that may be unrelated to the source species density.  相似文献

Local competitive interactions strongly influence plant community dynamics. To maintain their performance under competition, clonal plants may plastically modify their network architecture to grow in the direction of least interference. The adaptive value of this plastic avoidance response may depend, however, on traits linked with the plant’s structural blueprint and ontogeny. We tested this hypothesis using virtual populations. We used an Individual Based Model to simulate competitive interactions among clones within a plant population. Clonal growth was studied under three competition intensities in plastic and non-plastic individuals. Plasticity buffered the negative impacts of competition at intermediate densities of competitors by promoting clone clumping. Success despite competition was promoted by traits linked with (1) the plant’s structural blueprint (weak apical dominance and sympodial growth) and (2) ontogenetic processes, with an increasing or a decreasing dependence of the elongation process on the branch generation level or length along the competition intensity gradient respectively. The adaptive value of the plastic avoidance response depended on the same traits. This response only modulated their importance for clone success. Our results show that structural blueprint and ontogeny can be primary filters of plasticity and can have strong implications for evolutionary ecology, as they may explain why clonal plants have developed many species-specific plastic avoidance behaviours.  相似文献

We tested the hypothesis that density‐dependent competition influences the evolution of offspring size. We studied two populations of the least killifish (Heterandria formosa) that differ dramatically in population density; these populations are genetically differentiated for offspring size, and females from both populations produce larger offspring when they experience higher social densities. To look at the influences of population of origin and relative body size on competitive ability, we held females from the high‐density population at two different densities to create large and small offspring with the same genetic background. We measured the competitive ability of those offspring in mesocosms that contained either pure or mixed population treatments at either high or low density. High density increased competition, which was most evident in greatly reduced individual growth rates. Larger offspring from the high‐density population significantly delayed the onset of maturity of fish from the low‐density population. From our results, we infer that competitive conditions in nature have contributed to the evolution of genetically based interpopulation differences in offspring size as well as plasticity in offspring size in response to conspecific density.  相似文献

The effects of population density on module demography were studied in Trapa natans L., an annual aquatic macrophyte capable of extensive clonal propagation. At low density, the floating plants produced ten times as many ramets (clonal offshoots) as those at high density. Module mortality occurred at three levels: leaf, ramet (shoot), and genet (genetic individual). There was 100-fold variation in the size of nuts containing germinable seeds. In early summer there was a highly significant linear relationship between dry mass of nuts and the total mass of ramets that each had produced. In early summer most (73–83%) of the variation in total plant biomass was attributable to variation in initial nut size. However the significance of initial nut size was diminished later in the season. The great success of the exotic weed T. natans at colonizing and monopolizing an aquatic habitat is a function of its highly productive clonal growth response to low-density conditions, combined with greater proportional allocation of biomass to reproductive structures, resulting in greatly increased nut production at low initial density. The species appears able to develop and maintain a population at extremely high density: plant buoyancy and the production of large, well-protected nuts allow rapid early growth from the sediment each year and early pre-emption of the water surface.  相似文献
