The trunkwood of Machaerium kuhlmannii contains methyl palmitate, 3-O-acetyloleanolic acid and sitosterol; the benzene derivatives 2,3-dimethoxyphenol, 2,6-dimethoxyphenol, 2-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenol, 2,3-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and methyl 3-(2-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-propionate; the isoflavonoids formononetin and (6aS,11aS)-medicarpin; the neoflavonoids (R)-3,4-dimethoxydalbergione, (R)-3,4-dimethoxydalbergiquinol, kuhlmanniquinol [(R)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3-(5-hydroxy-2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)-propene], dalbergin, kuhlmannin (6-hydroxy-7,8-dimethoxy-4-phenylcoumarin) and kuhlmannene (6-hydroxy-7,8-dimethoxy-4-phenylchrom-3-ene), as well as the cinnamylphenol kuhlmannistyrene [Z-1-(5-hydroxy-2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-ethylene]. Five of these compounds, in addition to (R)-4′-hydroxy-3,4-dimethoxydalbergione, were also isolated from a trunkwood extract of M. nictitans. Structural assignments were confirmed by chemical interconversion and by the synthesis of (±)-kuhlmanniquinol.  相似文献

The filamentous fungus, Cunninghamella elegans, was found to metabolize the potent carcinogen, 3-methylcholanthrene (3-MC) to 1-hydroxy-3-MC, 2-hydroxy-3-MC, 1-keto-3-MC, 2-keto-3-MC and trans-9,10-dihydrodiols of 1-hydroxy-3-MC. In addition several unidentified derivatives of 3-MC were found. The metabolites formed were separated by high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) and identified by comparison of retention times, absorbance, fluorescence and mass spectra with those of synthetic standards. Incubation of (±)-1-hydroxy-3-MC and (±)-2-hydroxy-3-MC with cells of C. elegans indicated that 1-hydroxy-3-MC is metabolized to form diasteromerically related trans-9,10-dihydrodiols of 1-hydroxy-3-MC. Experiments with 3-[14C]MC showed that over a 48-h period, 8.7% of the hydrocarbon was oxidized to organic solvent-soluble metabolic products. Most of the metabolites were polar products, some of which co-chromatographed with trans-9,10-dihydrodiols of 1-hydroxy-3-MC. The results show that C. elegans has the ability to oxidize 3-MC to metabolites that have been implicated as proximate carcinogenic forms of 3-MC in higher organisms.  相似文献

An ethanol extract of the trunkwood from Swartzia laevicarpa (Leguminosae) gave four (6aR,11aR)-8-hydroxy-3,9-dimethoxypterocarpans differentiated by additional 2-hydroxy, 2-hydroxy-10-methoxy, 4,10-dimethoxy and 2-hydroxy-4,10-dimethoxy substitution; besides two 8-hydroxy-6-methoxy-3-methylisocoumarins differentiated by 5-chloro and 7-chloro substitution; 5-hydroxy-7,8-dimethoxy-2-methylchromone and the known 8-hydroxy-5-methyl-3,4-dihydroxyisocoumarin.  相似文献

A phytochemical analysis of the bark of the Malagasy Cedrelopsis rakotozafyi Cheek and Lescot (Rutaceae) yielded the novel 8-hydroxy-7-methoxy-6-(2R-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-enoxy)-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one, and 7-hydroxy-6-(2R-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-enoxy)-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one, 5,6,7-trimethoxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one, scoparone, scopoletin, lupeol and β-amyrin. The placement of Cedrelopsis within the Rutaceae is supported phytochemically by the typically Rutaceous coumarins isolated.  相似文献

Six bicyclo[3,2,1]octanoid neolignans, isolated from the benzene extract of Aniba simulans Allen (Lauraceae) trunk wood, are shown to derive from two basic structures: 1-allyl-8-hydroxy-6-(3′-methoxy-4′,5′-methylenedioxyphenyl)-7-methyl-3-oxobicyclo[3,2,1]octane, substituted by 4-hydroxy, 4-hydroxy-5-methoxy, 4-methoxy or 4,5-dimethoxy groups; and 1-allyl-8-hydroxy-6-(3′-methoxy-4′,5′-methylenedioxyphenyl)-7-methyl-4-oxobicyclo[3,2,1]oct-2-ene, substituted by 3-hydroxy or 3-hydroxy-5-methoxy groups. The structural proposals are based on spectral data, interconversions synthesis of a derivative from the known (2R,3S,3aS)-3a-allyl-5-methoxy-2-(3′-methoxy,4′,5′-methylenedioxyphenyl)-3-methyl-2,3,3a,6-tetrahydro-6-oxobenzofuran.  相似文献

Three new coumarins, 5-hydroxy-6,7-methylenedioxycoumarin, 5-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-3-methylbutoxy)-6,7-methylenedioxycoumarin and 5-(2-hydroxy-3-methyl-3-butenyloxy)coumarin, were isolated from the petrol ether extract of the aerial parts of Pterocaulon virgatum. A new natural product, 2(S),3(S)-3-hydroxy-4-methyleneglutamic acid (G3) has been isolated from seeds of Gleditsia caspica. The structure has been established by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Catalytic reduction of G3 yields 2(S),4(S)-4-methylglutamic acid and a new amino acid, 2(S),3(S),4(S)-3-hydroxy-4-methylglutamic acid. Ozonolysis of G3 followed by oxidation gives 2(S),3(R)-3-hydroxyaspartic acid. The S- (or l-) configurations at C2 in G3 and in 2(S),3(S),4(S)-3-hydroxy-4-methyglutamic acid and the S-configurations at C3 for G3 and 2(S),3(S),4(S)-3-hydroxy-4-methylglutamic acid and at C4 for 2(S),3(S),4(S)-3-hydroxy-4-methylglutamic acid are inferred from the configurations at C2 in 2(S),4(S)-4-methylglutamic acid and at C2 and C3 in 2(S),3(R)-3-hydroxyaspartic acid. The seeds also contain appreciable quantities of 2(S),3(S),4(R)-3-hydroxy-4-methylglutami c acid (G1) and 2(S),4(R)-4-methylglutamic acid.  相似文献

The 7-methylbenzo[a]pyrene (7-MBaP) was incubated with liver microsomes of rats pretreated with polychlorinated biphenyls (Aroclor 1254) (PCBs). Metabolites of 7-MBaP were isolated by both reversed-phase and normal-phase high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance, UV-visible and mass spectral analyses. The predominant metabolite of 7-MBaP was found to be 3-hydroxy-7-methylbenzo[a]pyrene (3-hydroxy-7-MBaP). Other identified metabolites include 7-MBaP 4,5-, 7,8-, and 9,10-trans-dihydrodiols, 7-hydroxymethyl-BaP, 7-hydroxymethyl-BaP trans-9,10-dihydrodiol, 9-hydroxy-7-MBaP, 3-hydroxy-7-hydroxymethyl-BaP, 7-MBaP 1,6- and 3,6- quinones, and a hydroquinone which is also formed by further metabolism of the 3-hydroxy-7-MBaP. Comparative metabolic studies of 7-MBaP and BaP indicated that, relative to that of BaP, the methyl substituent of 7-MBaP slightly increases the formation of 3-hydroxy-7-MBaP and decreases the metabolism at other regions of the 7-MBaP molecule. The finding that a 7,8-dihydrodiol is a metabolite indicates that, like BaP, 7-MBaP may also be activated to the potentially reactive 7,8-dihydrodiol 9,10-epoxides although their formations are significantly reduced.  相似文献

The wood of Dalbergia spruceana contains, besides O-acetyloleanolic acid, elemicin and 3,4,5-trimethoxy-cinnamaldehyde; the neoflavonoids (S)-4-methoxydalbergione and dalbergin; the isoflavones biochanin-A, formononetin, pseudobaptigenin and caviunin; and the pterocarpans (±)-medicarpin, (±)-maackiain, as well as the 3,4-dihydroxy-, 3-hydroxy-4-methoxy- and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-derivatives of (6aR,11aR)-8,9-methylenedioxypterocarpan. The constitutions of the three last named compounds were deduced by spectra and confirmed by synthesis of (±)-4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-8,9-methylenedioxypterocarpan.  相似文献

A phenylpropanoid, threo-3-chloro-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propane-1,2-diol, was isolated from the berries of Pimenta dioica together with five known compounds, eugenol, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamaldehyde, 3,4-dimethoxycinnamaldehyde, vanillin and 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propane-1,2-diol. In addition, the stereochemistry of 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propane-1,2-diol was determined. The phenylpropanoids inhibited autoxidation of linoleic acid in a water-alcohol system.  相似文献

Thirteen homoisoflavonoids, nine of which are new: 3-(4-methoxybenzyl)-5,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-methoxybenzylidene)-5,7-dihydroxy-6-methoxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-hydroxybenzylidene)-5-hydroxy-7-methoxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one, 3-(3,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-5,7-dihydroxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-methoxybenzyl)-6-hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one, 3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-5,6,7-trimethoxychroman-4-one and 3-(4-methoxybenzyl)-8-hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one, were isolated from the bulbs of Scilla nervosa together with four known ones and three known stilbene derivatives. The structures of these secondary metabolites were characterized by spectroscopic means and by comparison with published information for known compounds.  相似文献
