:随着人们对天然、绿色、安全性化妆品的日益需求,天然香料在化妆品中也随之被广泛应用。天然香料主要分为植物性天然香料和动物性天然香料。本文主要介绍了天然香料的定义及其分类,天然香料在化妆品中的应用以及国内外可用于化妆品的天然香料工业发展等,并且根据天然香料在化妆品中应用存在的问题,提出几点建议。其中,在对天然香料的定义和分类中,除了明确天然香料的定义外,还根据其中含有的不同类型和功效的成分,分为天然香料中的芳香成分、药用成分、营养成分和其他成分。天然香料在化妆品中的应用,主要介绍目前市场上应用最广泛的动物类天然香料以及花类、叶类和果实类等植物性天然香料。此外,从三方面对天然香料在化妆品中的应用提出建议,主要为新资源综合利用及开发,改进技术并提高天然香料产量和质量,开发治疗性、保健性天然化妆品等。  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the salinity uptake by natural zeolite when used as an ingredient during the composting process. The amounts of 5% and 10% of natural zeolite were applied to poultry litter as volume and compared with the compost made with no amendment. The results clearly showed that the salinity level of poultry litter was too high. It was found that the salinity level in the end compost decreases with increasing the amount of natural zeolite used. Salinity uptake efficiencies were 66.64% and 88.92% for end product containing 5% and 10% natural zeolite, respectively. Significantly, the addition of natural zeolite to poultry litter compost was found to have a beneficial effect on the characteristics of the end product.  相似文献

There are many reasons why it is important that we find ways to conserve, and better utilize natural enemies of invertebrate crop pests. Currently, measures of natural enemy impact are rarely incorporated into studies that purport to examine pest control. Most studies examine pest and natural enemy presence and/or abundance and then qualitatively infer impact. While this provides useful data to address a range of ecological questions, a measure of impact is critical for guiding pest management decision‐making. Often some very simple techniques can be used to obtain an estimate of natural enemy impact. We present examples of field‐based studies that have used cages, barriers to restrict natural enemy or prey movement, direct observation of natural enemy attack, and sentinel prey items to estimate mortality. The measure of natural enemy impact used in each study needs to be tailored to the needs of farmers and the specific pest problems they face. For example, the magnitude of mortality attributed to natural enemies may be less important than the timing and consistency of that mortality between seasons. Tailoring impact assessments will lead to research outcomes that do not simply provide general information about how to conserve natural enemies, but how to use these natural enemies as an integral part of decision‐making.  相似文献

近年来,甜菜夜蛾Spodoptera exigua(H櫣bner)在我国的危害面积越来越广,造成的损失越来越大。为了更好地了解甜菜夜蛾的发生和成灾规律,改善和提高预测与防治技术,文章就杀虫剂对甜菜夜蛾及其天敌的影响进行了分析。结果表明,杀虫剂使用失当是甜菜夜蛾大发生的重要原因。甜菜夜蛾对杀虫剂的抗药性水平超过天敌,而天敌的飞行、搜索、攻击和产卵等行为,以及生长、发育、生殖和寿命等又容易受杀虫剂的干扰,产生负面影响,从而降低天敌对甜菜夜蛾的控制能力。因此,如何合理使用杀虫剂,在有效控制甜菜夜蛾种群的同时,达到保护天敌的目的,将是我们面临的新课题。  相似文献

Natural abundances of the rare stable isotope of nitrogen, 15N, are now being used widely in research on N cycling in organisms and ecosystems. 15N natural abundances are used in fundamentally different ways from traditional 15N tracers by integrating N cycle processes via N isotope fractionations and the mixing of various N-containing pools. This approach of using 15N natural abundances still requires certain technical and conceptual advances before it can be used routinely in ecological research. Here, the basis of the natural abundance 15N approach and opportunities for applying it in ecology are reviewed, and recent progress towards overcoming some of the key technical problems and in revealing large-scale patterns in N cycle processes is discussed.  相似文献

A rapid coliphage analysis technique for enumerating coliphages in natural waters has been evaluated by water quality laboratories located throughout the United States. Correlations were established between coliphages and coliforms in natural water systems. These correlations were highly significant. This relationship can thus be used to determine the number of fecal or total coliforms present in natural water samples based on an enumeration of coliphages. With this method, coliphages in natural water systems (containing greater than or equal to six coliphages per 100 ml) can be enumerated within 6 h.  相似文献

黄土高原主要森林类型自然性的灰色关联度分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
为了解陕西黄土高原子午岭林区主要森林类型的自然性,以油松林、辽东栎林、白桦林、山杨林和侧柏林等5种森林类型为研究对象,通过0-1型变量聚类,较为客观地提出了森林群落各个演替阶段的植物组成,并计算出了各自的群落顶极适应值;采用层次分析的方法,得到群落特征指标权重,然后利用灰色关联分析方法,得到了各个森林群落的灰色关联度。研究结果表明,黄土高原不同森林类型的群落顶极适应值由大到小依次为辽东栎林(Quercus wutaishanica)8.37,油松林(Pinus tabulaefomis)8.16,山杨林(Populus davidiana)7.89,侧柏林(Platycladus orientalis)6.88,白桦林(Betula platyphylla)6.87;关联度由大到小依次为油松林1.143、辽东栎林1.085、侧柏林0.893、白桦林0.849、山杨林0.789。油松林和辽东栎林的灰色关联度较高,是这一地区较为稳定的理想森林类型,侧柏林和白桦林的关联度居中,山杨林最小。辽东栎林和油松林属于该地区的顶极和亚顶极群落类型,白桦林和侧柏林属于演替过渡类型,山杨林为演替阶段较低的森林类型。用灰色关联度的方法能够定量地分析森林群落的自然性,研究结果对森林近自然经营、林分改造有一定的应用价值和科学意义。  相似文献

本文运用主分量分析的方法,分析了江西森林自然保护区的自然属性的地理分布规律,旨在从中找到一组可靠的自然属性,以此预测建立森林自然保护区的合适之地,并对已建立的5个省级自然保护区进行分布合理性评价。研究表明:前三维主分量的信息量占总信息量的87.73%,降维效果良好。通过对不同自然属性在前三维主分量上的负荷量以及它们之间的离散性分析,确定了12个自然属性是评价和预测自然保护区的有效因子。从而证明 PCA 在自然保护区的规划和研究中具有良好的适应性。  相似文献

Bacterial natural products have proven to be invaluable starting points in the development of many currently used therapeutic agents. Unfortunately, traditional culture-based methods for natural product discovery have been deemphasized by pharmaceutical companies due in large part to high rediscovery rates. Culture-independent, or “metagenomic,” methods, which rely on the heterologous expression of DNA extracted directly from environmental samples (eDNA), have the potential to provide access to metabolites encoded by a large fraction of the earth’s microbial biosynthetic diversity. As soil is both ubiquitous and rich in bacterial diversity, it is an appealing starting point for culture-independent natural product discovery efforts. This review provides an overview of the history of soil metagenome-driven natural product discovery studies and elaborates on the recent development of new tools for sequence-based, high-throughput profiling of environmental samples used in discovering novel natural product biosynthetic gene clusters. We conclude with several examples of these new tools being employed to facilitate the recovery of novel secondary metabolite encoding gene clusters from soil metagenomes and the subsequent heterologous expression of these clusters to produce bioactive small molecules.  相似文献

Flowering plants are often used in habitat management programs to conserve the arthropod natural enemies of insect pests. In this study, nine species of flowering plants representing six families commonly found in North America east of the Rocky Mountains were evaluated based on how much they extended the lifespans of three commercially available natural enemy species in cages with cut flower stems compared with cages containing water only. The natural enemies used in the experiments were a lady beetle (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae: Hippodamia convergens Guérin-Méneville), a predatory bug (Heteroptera: Anthocoridae: Orius insidiosus (Say)), and an aphid parasitoid (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidius colemani Viereck). The plant species that most extended the lifespans of all three natural enemies were Monarda fistulosa L. (Lamiaceae), Solidago juncea Aiton (Asteraceae), and Daucus carota L. (Apiaceae). Agastache nepetoides (L.) Kuntze (Lamiaceae), Lobelia siphilitica L. (Campanulaceae), and Trifolium pratense L. (Fabaceae) were intermediate in their support of natural enemies. One plant species, Penstemon hirsutus (L.) Willdenow (Scrophulariaceae), did not contribute to the longevity of natural enemies any more than water alone. These results emphasize the need for multi-species evaluations of flowering plants for conservation biocontrol programs, and the variability in plant value for natural enemies.  相似文献

Biscutate swift Streptoprocne biscutata nests are usually built on protected rocky cliff walls. Birds often renest at the same location. Remains of previous nests may offer information about potential nests and quality of nest-sites. Here, we experimentally study nest-site selection to test the hypothesis that information from previous nests is used in current nest-site selection. We placed old nest material at artificial nest-sites to test whether new nest-sites are chosen based on the presence of nesting material. We also tested whether the use of natural nest-sites is influenced by nesting material by creating two types of natural sites: previously used natural nest-sites with vestiges of old nests removed and never used natural nest-sites to which vestiges of old nests were added. In the first experiment, in 139 nest-use opportunities, 16 artificial nest-sites were used, all of which included vestiges. In the second experiment, in 91 nest-use opportunities, four nests were in previously unused but natural locations to which vestiges had been added, 22 nests were in previously used sites without vestiges, and the remaining 65 nests remained unused. Two processes are apparently in action: first, prior experience and memory; second, vestiges indicate where nesting has occurred, possibly useful for first breeding, or for imperfect memory. Previous nesting information may explain why swifts use nesting locations for many years and why new nesting colonies seldom form. This transmission of information suggests that swifts tend to be conservative and nest where previous nesting has occurred.  相似文献

Two panels of hybridomas were produced that secreted monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) against recombinant DNA-derived human interleukin 3 and interleukin 4 (rhIL-3 and rhIL-4). From each panel, sensitive immunoradiometric assays (IRMAs) were developed which were capable of detecting the recombinant molecule used as the immunogen but were unable to recognize natural or other recombinant forms of the same cytokine. Subsequent studies using the MAbs from each panel showed that a number of the MAbs appeared only to recognize that particular recombinant molecule used as immunogen, with little or no binding to other recombinant forms of the molecule. By using MAbs that were found to be unrestricted in their recognition for different recombinant forms of the cytokines, it was possible to develop an IRMA for IL-4 that was capable of detecting natural IL-4 as well as all the recombinant forms equally. An IRMA was also developed for IL-3 but was not of equivalent sensitivity in detecting the different recombinant forms of IL-3 used in the study. The recombinant DNA-derived cytokine molecules used to raise the two panels of MAbs contained amino acid substitutions relative to the natural sequences, and these findings indicate that caution should be exercised when using immunoassays to estimate natural sequence molecules if antibodies raised to modified rDNA-derived molecules are used.  相似文献

Natural products are universally recognized to contribute valuable chemical diversity to the design of molecular screening libraries. The analysis undertaken in this work, provides a foundation for the generation of fragment screening libraries that capture the diverse range of molecular recognition building blocks embedded within natural products. Physicochemical properties were used to select fragment-sized natural products from a database of known natural products (Dictionary of Natural Products). PCA analysis was used to illustrate the positioning of the fragment subset within the property space of the non-fragment sized natural products in the dataset. Structural diversity was analysed by three distinct methods: atom function analysis, using pharmacophore fingerprints, atom type analysis, using radial fingerprints, and scaffold analysis. Small pharmacophore triplets, representing the range of chemical features present in natural products that are capable of engaging in molecular interactions with small, contiguous areas of protein binding surfaces, were analysed. We demonstrate that fragment-sized natural products capture more than half of the small pharmacophore triplet diversity observed in non fragment-sized natural product datasets. Atom type analysis using radial fingerprints was represented by a self-organizing map. We examined the structural diversity of non-flat fragment-sized natural product scaffolds, rich in sp3 configured centres. From these results we demonstrate that 2-ring fragment-sized natural products effectively balance the opposing characteristics of minimal complexity and broad structural diversity when compared to the larger, more complex fragment-like natural products. These naturally-derived fragments could be used as the starting point for the generation of a highly diverse library with the scope for further medicinal chemistry elaboration due to their minimal structural complexity. This study highlights the possibility to capture a high proportion of the individual molecular interaction motifs embedded within natural products using a fragment screening library spanning 422 structural clusters and comprised of approximately 2800 natural products.  相似文献

This study was carried out in the regions where handcrafts such as carpet and rug weaving are common in Turkey. In the regions where natural dyes are used, 123 plant species belonging to 50 families were identified as sources of natural dyes. In natural dye production, different parts of the plant or the whole aboveground plant is used. Ten different colors are gained from the plants. Sometimes the same color can be obtained from different plants. By mixing different plants, it is possible to produce various colors. We also identified more than 12 natural and more than eight chemical assistant substances (mordant) that are used in the regions to bind dye to fibers, to maintain the strongness and brightness of the colors, and to obtain various colors  相似文献

Background, aim, and scope  The main primary energy for electricity in Thailand is natural gas, accounting for 73% of the grid mix. Electricity generation from natural gas combustion is associated with substantial air emissions. The two technologies currently used in Thailand, thermal and combined cycle power plant, have been evaluated for the potential environmental impacts in a “cradle-to-grid” study according to the life cycle assessment (LCA) method. This study evaluates the environmental impacts of each process of the natural gas power production over the entire life cycle and compares two different power plant technologies currently used in Thailand, namely, combined cycle and thermal. Materials and methods  LCA is used as a tool for the assessment of resource consumption and associated impacts generated from utilization of natural gas in power production. The details follow the methodology outlined in ISO 14040. The scope of this research includes natural gas extraction, natural gas separation, natural gas transmission, and natural gas power production. Most of the inventory data have been collected from Thailand, except for the upstream of fuel oil and fuel transmission, which have been computed from Greenhouse gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Transportation version 1.7 and Global Emission Model for Integrated Systems version 4.3. The impact categories considered are global warming, acidification, photochemical ozone formation, and nutrient enrichment potential (NEP). Results  The comparison reveals that the combined cycle power plant, which has a higher efficiency, performs better than the thermal power plant for global warming potential (GWP), acidification potential (ACP), and photochemical ozone formation potential (POCP), but not for NEP where the thermal power plant is preferable. Discussion  For the thermal power plant, the most significant environmental impacts are from power production followed by upstream of fuel oil, natural gas extraction, separation, and transportation. For the combined cycle power plant, the most significant environmental impacts are from power production followed by natural gas extraction, separation, and transportation. The significant difference between the two types of power production is mainly from the combustion process and feedstock in power plant. Conclusions  The thermal power plant uses a mix of natural gas (56% by energy content) and fuel oil (44% by energy content); whereas, the combined cycle power plant operates primarily on natural gas. The largest contribution to GWP, ACP, and NEP is from power production for both thermal as well as combined cycle power plants. The POCP for the thermal power plant is also from power production; whereas, for combined cycle power plant, it is mainly from transmission of natural gas. Recommendations and perspectives  In this research, we have examined the environmental impact of electricity generation technology between thermal and combined cycle natural gas power plants. This is the overview of the whole life cycle of natural gas power plant, which will help in decision making. The results of this study will be useful for future power plants as natural gas is the major feedstock being promoted in Thailand for power production. Also, these results will be used in further research for comparison with other feedstocks and power production technologies.  相似文献

Abstract. The artificial seedling assay method has been used in several tropical and temperate forests to estimate seedling damage and subsequent mortality due to non‐trophic micro‐disturbances such as litterfall and trampling. However, there has been no evidence presented to support the assumption that artificial seedling damage correlates with natural seedling mortality. In this study we evaluated the use of artificial seedlings in five New Zealand forests by comparing damage rates of artificial seedlings with damage and mortality rates of an equal number of selected natural seedlings. A total of 1200 artificial, and 1200 natural seedlings were monitored monthly for two years. Litterfall damage rates of natural seedlings were correlated with those of artificial seedlings. However, there was no relationship found between artificial and natural seedling damage due to animals, or between artificial seedling damage and natural seedling mortality for either cause. Artificial seedlings should not therefore be used to estimate seedling mortality due to non‐trophic microdisturbance. Monitoring natural seedlings enabled non‐trophic animal damage to be readily detected and provided additional information on animal‐plant interactions. The value of using artificial seedlings is that they provide a measure of the litterfall disturbance potential that is independent of the patchy distribution of natural seedlings within safe sites, and independent of species specific resistance to damage. They therefore provide an indication of the selective pressure on seedlings due to litterfall and are useful for comparing the relative ‘safety’ of different forests and microsites. Monitoring natural seedlings provides a measure of the damage and mortality due to litterfall for a specific seedling size class. Concurrently monitoring artificial and natural seedlings for litterfall disturbance provides more information than the same effort expended on either method alone.  相似文献

天敌昆虫抗药性研究在协调害虫化学防治和生物防治中有着重要的理论和现实意义,其研究的最终目的在于更好地推进抗性天敌在害虫综合治理(IPM)中的应用。抗药性天敌昆虫具有潜在的巨大价值。鉴于此,本文系统地综述了天敌昆虫抗药性最新研究进展,包括杀虫剂对天敌昆虫的影响、天敌昆虫抗药性现状、抗药性机理和限制天敌昆虫抗药性发展因素等。文章最后还对抗药性天敌昆虫的应用前景进行了展望。  相似文献
