A survey of East Palaearctic Lycosidae (Araneae). 7. A new species of Acantholycosa Dahl, 1908 from the Russian Far East

Acantholycosa azarkinaesp. n. is described from the Maritime Province of Russia on the basis of both sexes. Acantholycosa norvegica (Thorell, 1872) is reported from the Maritime Province for the first time. A key and illustrations to all six species that occur in Far East Asia are provided.

Haba persica Strumia & Fallahzadeh sp. n. (Hymenoptera: Chrysididae: Elampini), from mountains in southwestern Iran, is described and illustrated.

Two new European species of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Docosia</Emphasis> (Diptera: Mycetophilidae)

Two new species of Docosia Winnertz, 1863 are described, Docosia chandleri sp. n. from Austria and Italy and Docosia matilei sp. n. from France and Italy. Both species resemble Docosia montana Laštovka et Ševčík, 2006 and they are characterized by bare laterotergites, yellow legs and long flagellomeres.

Four New Genera and Species of Chironomidae (Diptera) from Southern Africa

Four new genera are described for four new species of Chironomidae from southern Africa. Paradoxocladius mangoldi (Orthocladiinae) is based on all life stages, Lunditendipes tropicum (Chironominae) on male adults, Xestotendipes sufflavus (Chironominae) on male and female adults, and Zuluchironomus demoori (Chironominae) on male and female adults. A highly apomorphic larva with a cleft mid-mentum, possibly belonging to Z. demoori, is also described. Some ecological details are given.

1983年采自吉林省长白山和1984年采自四川省周公山的棘蝇属标本,发现游荡棘蝇种团(erransgroup)中两个新种。命名为拟游荡棘蝇,新种 Phaonia mimerrans Ma,sp.nov.和次游荡棘蝇,新种Phaonia suberrans Feng,sp.nov.。前者与游荡棘蝇 Phaonia,errans(Meigen,1826)极近似,但新种的额较宽,间额明显;前陉有2—3个中位后鬃,可以区别,后者的后气门前肋裸,体大型,第一腹板裸,侧颜较狭等特征,可与本种团其他各种(errans,pseudoerrans Hennig,1963,asierrans Zinovjev,1981及mimerrans Ma,sp.nov.)区别。

记述分布于中国四川的棘蝇属Phaonia R.-D.,1830 1新种团：曲股棘蝇种团Phaonia blaesomera group nov.及4新种：曲股棘蝇Phaonia blaesomera sp.nov.:类半月棘蝇Phaonia semilunaroida sp.nov.:黑肩棘蝇Phaonia nigeritegula sp.nov.;黄胫棘蝇Phaonia helvitibia sp.nov.模式标本存北京军事医学科学院微生物流行病研究所医学昆虫标本馆。     

中国贵州妙蝇属(双翅目,蝇科)研究及双色妙蝇群一新种记述(英文)

系贵州地区妙蝇属Myospila Rondani研究的系列论文之一,记述该属1新种群:双色妙蝇群Myospila bina species group并描述新种群1新种:长妙蝇Myospi lalonga sp.nov.。文中给出了双色妙蝇群的定义,编制了新种群所有已知种的检索表,描述了其详细的形态特征及其与近缘种的鉴别特征。新种的模式标本保存于作者所在单位。     

New or little-known species of the genus Amphimenes Bates, 1873 (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Lebiinae) from Vietnam

Twelve new species of the genus Amphimenes Bates, 1873 are described from Vietnam: Amphimenes maculatussp. n., Amphimenes bidoupensissp. n., Amphimenes gracilissp. n., Amphimenes montanussp. n., Amphimenes giganteussp. n., Amphimenes mediussp. n., Amphimenes minutussp. n., Amphimenes rufipessp. n., Amphimenes reflexicollissp. n., Amphimenes planicollissp. n., Amphimenes nitidussp. n., and Amphimenes kabakovisp. n.. Amphimenes rugulipennis Bates, 1892, comb. n., is transferred from the genus Brachichila Chaudoir, 1869 and is redescribed from fresh material. A key to all congeners is provided, these being arranged into five new species-groups. Adults of the rugulipennis- and piceolus-groups show subcortical habits, while those of the medius-, rufipes- and planicollis- groupsare herpetobiotic, resulting in such morphological adaptations as partly reduced eyes, missing wings and adnate elytra.     

Monomorium dryhimi sp. n., a new ant species (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) of the M. monomorium group from Saudi Arabia, with a key to the Arabian Monomorium monomorium-group

A new ant species, Monomorium dryhimi, is described based on workers from a single colony collected in Al Bahah, Asir Province, Saudi Arabia. This is the fourth species of the Monomorium monomorium-group collected from Arabian Peninsula, and appears to be closely related to Monomorium holothir Bolton, 1987, from Kenya. It can be distinguished by the following characters: head in profile with a weakly convex dorsal surface and a clearly convex ventral surface; eyes of moderate size with maximum diameter EL 0.19-0.25 × HW and with 6 ommatidia in the longest row; body colour yellow to light brownish yellow. In some individuals, head and gaster slightly but conspicuously darker than rest of body. Second halves of first and second gastral tergites with two characteristic brownish transverse bands. An identification key to the workers of the Arabian species of the Monomorium monomorium-group is presented. Scanning electron micrographs are given to illustrate the new species.

描述了裸齿角石蛾属Psilotreta kwantungensis种团的5新种,即弯钩裸齿角石蛾Psilotreta anfracta sp.nov.,直角裸齿角石蛾Psilotreta rectangula sp.nov.,具刺裸齿角石蛾Psilotreta spinata sp.nov.,细刺裸齿角石蛾Psilotreta tenuispina sp.nov.,以及缺肢裸齿角石蛾Psilotreta expers sp.nov.。模式标本保存于南京农业大学昆虫标本馆。
