Summary Argyrophil fibrils were revealed in pars intermedia chromophobe cells of Salmo irideus. For the light microscopical demonstration of the fibrils a recently developed copper sulphate-silver protein technique for Bouin-fixed hypophyses was used.The fibrils, apparently belonging to one fibrillar system, are found only in limited regions of the cytoplasm. They occur in ring-, loop-, or cracknel shapes in the close vicinity of the rounded nucleus in the chromophobe cell, and continue in linear shape into the cell base or cell apex where they may end near the adjacent basement membrane.Electron microscopically, the fibrils are composed of filaments, 70–90 Å in diameter, which are arranged in parallel. Bundles of filaments are frequently found near the nucleus. In addition to perinuclear filaments, bundles of filaments with tiny offshoots occur in different areas of the cytoplasm, extending sometimes as far as the cell membrane which is located near the basement membrane of the pars intermedia epithelium.In cells with a bi- or trilobular, apparently amitotically dividing, nucleus a fibrillar loop or ring usually surrounds the interlobular part(s) of the nucleus. This relation of the fibrils to the dividing nucleus and their consisting of regularly arranged filaments indicates the significance of the fibrillar system in the chromophobe cell. It is thus suggested that the fibrillar system is involved in the constriction of the nucleus during amitosis.The number of chromophobe cells in which fibrils are light microscopically visible varied greatly among the rainbow trout used.Miss M. Summary Fine structure and chemical composition of the phloem exudate of Cucurbita maxima and Nicotaiana glauca x suaveolens are investigated. Filamentous structures, several microns in length, are identified as structural components of the exudate by means of negative staining and electron microscopy. Two types of filaments are described: one form measures nearly 40 Å in diameter and shows a beaded appearance with regular spacings of about 50 Å; it is termed elementary filament. The second form has a diameter of about 90 Å and presumably consists of two helically arranged 40 Å subunits.The proteinaceous nature of the filaments is indicated by chemical analysis. The main macromolecular component of the exudate is demonstrated to be protein. Only traces of nucleic acids are detectable, lipids and polysaccharides cannot be found. The identity of the protein filaments with the filamentous structures (slime, P-protein), as revealed in thin sections of mature sieve tubes, is discussed.  相似文献

Summary The moderator band in the heart of the ox and goat contains bundles of Purkinje fibers and nerve fibers separated by connective tissue. The axons are mostly unmyelinated and embedded in the cytoplasm of Schwann cells.Small bundles of axons run close to the Purkinje fibers. The axons dilate into varicosities 0.5 to 1.6 in diameter (mean 0.95 ), containing three types of vesicles: 1) agranular vesicles with a diameter of 400–500 Å, 2) large dense-cored vesicles with a diameter of 800–1200 Å, 3) small dense-cored vesicles with a diameter of 500 Å. Most varicosities contain agranular vesicles together with a few large dense-cored vesicles.The gap between the varicosities and the nearest Purkinje fiber is unusually wide and normally varies between 0.3 and 0.8 . No intimate nerve-Purkinje fiber contacts, with a cleft of 200 Å, were observed.  相似文献

Dynamics of the cytoskeleton of epidermal cells in situ and in culture   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Summary The cytoskeleton of primary tissue-culture cells from the epidermis of Xenopus laevis tadpoles was investigated by phase-contrast, immunofluorescence, and electron microscopy. The connection between the arrangement of different types of filaments and the mechanical properties of the epidermis is discussed. The bilayered epidermis attains stability from thick bundles of tonofilaments interconnecting the basal desmosomes. Twisting of tonofilaments around each other can explain the occurrence of elastic filamentous curls forming a meshwork braced between rows of small desmosomes in the apical region of the epidermis. Actin is arranged as a diffuse meshwork and sometimes forms bundles intermingling with tonofilament bundles. Surface membranes and rows of small desmosomes are delineated by actin and contain -actinin. Actin raises the tension for rounding and spreading of cells. Microtubules stabilize already well-developed lamellae.  相似文献

Summary The distribution of -tubulin throughout cell division is studied in several taxa of higher plants. -Tubulin is present along the whole length of microtubules (Mts) in every cell stage-specific Mt array such as the preprophase band, the preprophase-prophase perinuclear Mts, the kinetochore Mt bundles, the phragmoplast, and the telophase-interphase transition Mt arrays. -Tubulin follows with precision the Mt pattern, being absent from any other, Mt-free, cell site. In cells treated with anti-Mt drugs, -tubulin is present only on degrading or on reappearing Mt arrays, while it is totally absent from cells devoid of Mts. -Tubulin is also present in tubulin paracrystals, which are formed in colchicine-treated cells. These observations support the view that in higher plants -tubulin may not be a microtubule-organizing-center-specific protein, but it may play a certain structural and/or functional role being related to - and -tubulin.Abbreviations Mt microtubule - MTOC microtubule-organizing center - PPB preprophase band  相似文献

Zusammenfassung An einer Reihe von normalen und pathologisch veränderten Organen wird die Porenstruktur, Porenbildung und Porenrückbildung elektronenmikroskopisch untersucht. Die Endothelpore ist eine Diskontinuität in der Endothelwand mit einem sehr konstanten Durchmesser von 500 Å. Das Diaphragma ist nur mit der äußeren Membranlamelle am Porenrand verbunden. Diaphragmalose Poren sind etwas größer (Ø650 Å), zeigen einen glatten Porenrand und kommen besonders in verdichteten Endothelteilen vor. Frustrane Poren münden blind in Vakuolen oder liegen in porösen Endothelfalten im Gefäßlumen. Die eigentliche Bildung der Poren geschieht immer in abgeflachten ( 800 Å) Endothelteilen. Die vorbereitende Abflachung geht jedoch in den verschiedenen Endothelzonen (Periksryon, dicker Endothelwand, Cytoplasmainseln) unterschiedliche Wege. Alle diese Vorgänge stellen Vesikulation in besonderer Lage und mit besonderer Fusionsrichtung der Vesikel dar. Wegen dieser Unterschiede wird die Endothelwand in 4 Zonen eingeteilt: Perikaryon; dicke, porenlose Wandteile mit cytoplasmatischen Vesikeln; dünne, porenhaltige Teile ohne Zellorganellen; dicke Cytoplasmainseln, die die porösen Wandteile voneinander trennen. Der Vorgang der Porenrückbildung bleibt unklar. Vielleicht besteht er in der Faltung des Endothels, die zu porösen Vakuolen führt. Die Porenbildung verändert die Endotheloberfläche nicht, kann aber das Cytoplasmavolumen vermindern. Der Aufbau des Diaphragmas sowie der Mechanismus und die auslösenden Faktoren der Porenbildung werden diskutiert.
Summary Ultrastructure, formation and disappearance of endothelial pores was studied electron microscopically in several normal or experimentally changed organs. Pores being discontinuies in the endothelial wall have a very constant diameter of 500 Å. The diaphragm at the margin of the pore is in contact with only the outer lamella of the unit membrane. Pores without a diaphragm being somewhat larger (Ø 650 Å) show a smoother margin and are to be found in endothelia with dense cytoplasm. Frustrated pores form blind openings in vacuoles or are situated in porous endothelial folds within the vessel lumen. Pores alway are formed in flattened parts of endothelium ( 800 Å). In thick capillary walls the endothelium previously is flattened by vesiculation, which differs in different zones of the wall (Perikaryon, thick continuous endothelium, and cytoplasmic islands in porous capillaries) in location and direction of vesicle fusion. Because of these differences the endothelial wall is divided in 4 zones: Perikaryon; thick parts without pores containing cytoplasmic vesicles etc.; flattened, porous parts containing no cytoplasmic organelles; thick cytoplasmic islands which separate porous parts. The process removing pores is not clear. Perhaps they are removed by folding of the endothelial surface and formation porous vacuoles. Formation of pores dosn't enlarge or reduce the surface, but may reduce the cytoplasmic volume of endothelium. The nature of diaphragm as well as the mechanism and releasing factors of the formation of pores are discussed.

Of 147 microorganisms isolated from a loamy sand, 71 showed good growth with lindane (-1,2,3,4,5,6-hexachlorocyclohexane) and produced chloride in an aqueous medium. Thirteen soil microorganisms were selected to study the utilization of lindane. Lindane was metabolized by the microbes to -2,3,4,5,6-pentachloro-1-cyclohexene (-PCCH), -3,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1-cyclohexene (-TCCH), -3,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1-cyclohexene (-TCCH), -3,4,5,6-tetrachloro-1-cyclohexene (-TCCH), and pentachlorobenzene (PCB). Cells of Pseudomonas sp. No. 62 grown on lindane simultaneously adapted to -PCCH, -TCCH, -TCCH, -TCCH, PCB, 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene (1,2,3,4-TCB) and 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene (1,2,4,5-TCB). Summary The cytoplasm of granulosa cells in human primordial follicles from normal women shows a system of filaments and microtubules. Filaments about 70–150 Å in diameter and several m in length can be seen as bundles or irregularly distributed. Microtubules about 200 Å in diameter are predominantly oriented in paranuclear regions. The relationships between cytoplasmic filaments and microtubules in granulosa cells and those of Sertoli cells are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Nuclear DNA obtained by SDS treatment or phenol extraction of isolated polytene salivary gland nuclei of D. melanogaster and D. hydei was investigated electron-microscopically. All preparations contained only linear doublestranded DNA filaments of various length. The mean length of a sample of 52 DNA filaments of D. melanogaster produced by SDS treatment was 37.3 . For D. hydei a mean length of 24.2 was established on account of a sample of 51 filaments obtained by SDS treatment. In samples obtained by phenol extraction a mean length of 23.8 (26 filaments) was found. Pronase digestion following SDS treatment gave a mean length of 29.1 for D. melanogaster (46 filaments) and of 17.1 for D. hydei (57 filaments). — The mean length of DNA filaments from D. hydei sperm was 21.5 on the basis of 25 filaments measured. The length distribution of the DNA of the samples of filaments measured varied. Preparations of single-stranded DNA obtained by heat denaturation of samples of D. hydei nuclear DNA revealed very long filaments. An obvious increase in the number of filaments shorter than 30 as compared with double-stranded DNA could not be established.  相似文献

Summary The histochemical activities of succinic dehydrogenase (SDH), myofibrillar Adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) and alpha glycerophosphate dehydrogenase were studied in serial sections of rat vastus lateralis (red) (RVL), gastrocnemius and diaphragm muscles. Three main fibre-types were distinguished. The Type I fibres of RVL and gastrocnemius muscles fell into two distinct groups: one category-Type IA showed very low ATPase activity. The second category of Type IB fibres displayed moderate ATPase reaction. The Type IA fibres were divisible into two sub-groups when tested for SDH reaction. Type IA1 fibres possessed a homogenous distribution of diformazan·granules throughout the fibre: Type IA2 fibres displayed characteristic moth-eaten pattern of diformazan localization. The diaphragm muscle did not show either Type IB or Type IA2 varieties. The great majority of Type I fibres were sub-type IA1 in the three fast muscles studied. It is also demonstrated here that an inherent heterogeneity exists between Type I fibres of diaphragm and leg muscles in regard to -GPD localization. This histochemical data emphasizes the fact that subdivision of Type I striated muscle fibres of mammalian animals into two sub-types is only approximate and that a further subcategorization is possible.  相似文献

Summary An electron microscopic investigation has revealed that the pulmonary lymphatic valves of adult rabbits are not simple duplicatures of the lymphatic vessel wall. They consist of an uninterrupted central connective tissue core, covered on both sides with a single layer of flattened endothelial cells. Near their insertion in the lymphatic vessel wall, the connective tissue core reveals a distinct thickening being composed mainly of collagen bundles. In the other parts it contains mainly elastic fibers and fine filaments, enclosing also some rather peculiar connective tissue cells. Nervous and muscular elements were not observed. The endothelium is continuous and exhibits no open junctions. The valvular basement membrane is better developed than in lymphatic capillaries. The endothelial cells contain numerous cytoplasmic filaments which might be endowed with contractile properties. The nuclei of the endothelial and the connective tissue cells are irregularly spaced and frequently clustered near the free edge of the valve.These ultrastructural features suggest that the function of the lymphatic valves is mainly passive. They are firmly inserted in the lymphatic vessel wall by collagen fibers and their moving parts are slender and elastic. Their endothelium appears relatively impermeable and is firmly attached to the subjacent connective tissue.This study has been supported by a grant from The Council for Tobacco Research—U.S.A.. Integrin 5 1 and 2 1 are the major integrin receptors in human hepatocytes. However, in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells it was found that the expression of integrin 5 1 was decreased and another integrin 6 1 increased. In this study, the SMMC7721 human hepatocellular carcinoma cells cotransfected or singlely transfected with integrin 5 and/or 1 cDNAs were established, and designated 5 1.6-7721, 5.3-7721, and 1.6-7721 cell lines, respectively. Transfection with cDNAs of integrin 5 and 1 subunits resulted in the overexpression of each integrin and modified biological properties, including a slowed growth rate, changes in the cell cycle from 15.5% of control cells in the G2/M phase to 12.1%, 9.6% and 9.4% in 5.3-7721, 1.6-7721, 5 1.6-7721, respectively, and a decrease in the Cell Mitosis Index from 1.6 in controls to 0.96, 0.95, and 0.72, and 34%, 28% and 52% derived from colony forming ability, respectively. Tumorigenicity was also tested in nude mice with inoculation of cells subcutaneously. Tumor masses growing in nude mice following inoculation with 1.6-7721,and 5 1.6-7721 cells weighed only 52% or 31% those of control cells. These results indicated that deletion or low expression of integrin 5 1 may play an important role in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. Therefore, induction of expression of the integrin 5 1 in malignant cells could be a potential means of treating hepatocellular carcinoma.  相似文献

A structural component of mitotic chromosomes that partially explains the compaction of DNA within mitotic chromosomes is suggested on the basis of the occurrence of long, regular cylindrical structures in preparations of isolated human chromosomes. These structures, unit fibers, of a rather constant diameter of about 4,000 Å have been postulated to be formed by coiling of the 250T2–300 Å solenoid chromatin fiber that itself is formed by coiling of the 100 Å string of nucleosome fiber. The human chromatid would thus be composed by a hierarchy of helices with contraction ratios for DNA at each level of coiling of 7 (string of nucleosomes), 5 (solenoid) and 40 (4,000 Å unit fiber or super-solenoid) which results in an overall contraction ratio for DNA in the unit fiber structures of about 1,400, which is approximately 5-fold less than the final contraction of DNA in intact chromatids of condensed metaphase chromosomes. The present report concerns more detailed studies with respect to the dimensions and cytochemical properties of the unit fiber structures observed in preparations of isolated human mitotic chromosomes that provide direct and indirect evidence in support of their super-solenoid structure and relate to known properties of human mitotic chromosomes.  相似文献

Summary The neurohypophysis of sexually mature male and female Acipenser güldenstädti Brandt and Acipenser stellatus Pallas was studied light and electron microscopically. The recessus hypophysei lined with ependymal cells of two main types, narrow and wide, are in the center of the neurohypophysial roots. Processes from both cell types run radially to the basement membrane of the connective tissue layers abutting on the hypophysial intermediate lobe. Protrusions penetrating deep into the recessus hypophyseus are found in the apical parts of the wide cells. Pituicytes are rare in the neurohypophysis. The ultrastructure of both ependymal cell types and of the pituicytes is described. Nonmyelinated Gomori-positive (peptidergic) neurosecretory A1 and A2 type fibres and their terminals containing elementary neurosecretory granules (1400–1800 Å and 1000–1400 Å respectively) are the main structural elements of the neurohypophysis. Some dark and single myelinated neurosecretory fibres have been found. The adrenergic fibres (type B) were described earlier (Polenov et al., 1972a). The structural peculiarities of the neurohypophysis are discussed in functional and comparative-morphological terms.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Das Flimmerepithel von Anguilla anguilla besteht aus 4 Zellarten: Flimmerzellen, Stützzellen, Basalzellen und Schleimbecherzellen. Flimmerzellen enthalten im oberen Zelldrittel zahlreiche Mitochondrien und tragen an ihrer Oberfläche bis zu 140 Kinocilien. Die Basalkörper dieser Kinocilien haben lange Wurzelfilamente, von denen ein Teil ins Zellinnere zieht; der andere Teil verläuft parallel zur Oberfläche und verbindet benachbarte Basalapparate. — Ein Übergangsepithel verknüpft das Flimmerepithel mit dem Riechepithel. Im Riechepithel finden sich außer den Zellarten des Flimmerepithels die Rezeptoren. Bei einheitlichem Aufbau des Zellkörpers lassen sich aufgrund rein morphologischer Unterschiede der Vesiculae olfactoriae 3 Rezeptortypen unterscheiden: 1. Cilien-Rezeptor, 2. Mikrovilli-Rezeptor und 3. Pfriem-Rezeptor. — Der Cilien-Rezeptor trägt unterhalb der Vesicula olfactoria in einer Einschnürung 4–8 sensorische Cilien, die alle auf gleicher Höhe entspringen. Zwei gegenüberliegende sensorische Cilien schließen einen konstanten Winkel von 60° ein. — Der Mikrovilli-Rezeptor trägt auf seiner abgerundeten Vesicula olfactoria 30 bis 60 Mikrovilli von 0,1 m Dicke und bis zu 5 m Länge. Der Mikrovillus wird von einem zentralen, 160 Å weiten, Tubulus durchzogen. Unterhalb der Vesicula olfactoria liegen mehrere Centriolen. Die Rezeptornatur dieser Zellen wird durch ein Axon unterstrichen. — Der Pfriem-Rezeptor besitzt eine 0,8 m breite und bis zu 4 m lange Vesicula olfactoria ohne sensorische Cilien und ohne Mikrovilli. Im Lumen der Vesicula olfactoria befinden sich neben Neurotubuli auch Fibrillen von 40–50 Å Durchmesser, die gebündelt auftreten. An der Basis des Köpfchens liegen mehrere Centriolen.
Studies of the regio olfactoria in the eel, Anguilla anguilla I. Fine structure of the olfactory epithelium
Summary The ciliary and olfactory epithelia of the olfactory folds in Anguilla anguilla were studied with the electron microscope. The ciliary epithelium is composed of ciliary cells, supporting cells, basal cells, and mucous cells. The ciliary cells contain numerous mitochondria in their apical portion and bear up to 140 cilia. The ciliary basal bodies have rootlets, some of which project towards the central part of the cell, and others parallel to the cell surface thereby connecting neighbouring basal bodies. A transitional epithelium is located between the ciliary and olfactory epithelia. The olfactory epithelium is composed of the same 4 cell types of the ciliary epithelium and besides contains three morphologically different receptor cell types: ciliary receptor cells, microvillous receptor cells, and receptors with a single rodshaped free appendage. The ciliary receptors have 4 to 8 sensory cilia which project from below the vesicula olfactoria, each forming a constant angle of about 30° with the vertical cell axis. The vesicula olfactoria of the microvillous receptors bears from 30 to 60 microvilli, each of 0.1 m diameter and up to 5 m length. Each microvillus of this receptor type contains a central tubulus of 160 Å diameter. Few centrioles are located closely to the vesicula olfactoria. The third receptor type, which has neither cilia nor microvilli, is characterised by a single rod-shaped appendage of 0.8 m diameter which projects up to 4 m above the epithelial surface. This appendage contains neurotubules and fibril bundles; some centrioles lie close to the base of the appendage.

On the basis of the filament rotation model that was elaborated for interpretations in cell motility, the lateral hydrodynamic effects of rotating filaments have been investigated by large-scale model experiments. Helices were rotated by small electric motors in a medium of high viscosity (honey or polyethyleneglycol). The observed effects, hitherto not investigated in detail by hydrodynamics, show some features that were attributed to the indefinable formative power or vital force of the past. The main effects generated by the rotating filaments are (1) flows and flow patterns with impact zones where flows collide, (2) regions of excessive pressure and negative pressure (corner effect) along a wall, (3) grooves and smoothly shaped ridges on a free fluid surface, and (4) rolling motions of freely hanging filaments. All effects and flow patterns depend on the appropriate distribution of rotating and counterrotating filaments. Each change of the rotational direction means a dramatic alteration. The application of the observed effects explains largely the function of the microtubule/microfilament hoops or helices during the cytokinesis of a plant cell. Interpretations or simulations are described for events as the formation of secondary wall thickenings, the orientation of their microfibrils, the motion of the preprophase band microtubules, the formation of the phragmosome, the migration, stationary position and shape of the preprophase nucleus, the girdle-, septum- and H-piece formation of cell walls in algae and some events of morphogenesis inMicrasterias. Further interpretations are related to the lateral flows and to invaginations of free cell membranes, to lateral filament motions, to the right-left problem, to the selfintertwining of filaments, to the rotation of a cell body by its flagellum, to the repulsion of chromatids during meiosis and to the tetragonal and hexagonal arrangement of filaments.Dedicated to Prof. DrLothar Geitler on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his birthday.  相似文献

To determine the difference in induction of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) mRNA expression in cultured vascular cells of different species, the expression of iNOS genes and their regulatory mechanisms in rat, human, bovine, and rabbit vascular endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells (SMC) were studied by Northern blotting, chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (CAT) assay, and electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). Qualitative estimation of iNOS mRNA by Northern-blot analysis demonstrated that the combination of interleukin-1 (IL-1), tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-), and lipopolysaccharides (LPS) drastically induces iNOS expression in rat and human SMC, and a more moderate effect was observed for endothelial cells; the effect of IL-1 alone was much weaker than that of the three factors. IL-1 alone or a mixture of IL-1, TNF-, and LPS both showed negligible effect on iNOS expression in bovine and rabbit vascular endothelial cells and SMC. Results of CAT assay corresponded well with Northern analysis indicating 7-fold increase in CAT activity by the mixture of IL-1, TNF-, and LPS in SMC and more moderate, 2-fold increase, in endothelial cells. IL-1 alone produced an intermediate effect (less than 2-fold) on vascular SMC of rats and humans. The results of EMSA showed that two shifted bands appeared when the nuclear protein from rat and human vascular endothelial cells bound to the region from –1037 to –787 of the rat iNOS gene, while vascular SMC nuclear protein only produced a single shifted band under the same conditions. These results suggest that cell- and species-specific mechanisms exist in the induction of iNOS expression.  相似文献

Summary Freeze-fracture studies were conducted on the membranes of normal cockroach hemocytes. The plasmalemma is asymmetric with the A fracture face containing 80–100 Å membrane intercalated particles at a concentration of 2500/2. The B fracture face contains 120–150 Å particles with a relatively low density (800/2). The nuclear envelope displays an asymmetry with the A fracture face containing 1500 particles/2 and the B face containing 300/ 2. No significant particle size differences were observed in nuclear envelope fracture faces. Two types of symmetric membranes were also found in these cells. Both A and B fracture faces of the membrane surrounding the numerous cytoplasmic inclusion bodies contain particle sizes and concentrations similar to the B face of the plasmalemma. A second type of symmetry was observed in cells apparently engaged in exocytosis. Vesicles (0.1 D) from this process were completely particle free on both fracture faces. Summary The passage of cells across the lymphatic endothelium of rat lacteals in both normal and non-pathological experimental conditions (fasting, lymphatic stasis) was studied by means of serial thin sections and three-dimensional models. Two different pathways of transendothelial migration were observed: (1) macrophages enter the lymphatic lumen via the cytoplasm of endothelial cells, without involvement of intercellular junctions, whereas (2) lymphocytes migrate through intraendothelial channels, dynamic structures organized by the lymphatic endothelium under physiological conditions.  相似文献

Euphorbia characias is a Mediterranean spurge with a diplochorous dispersal system: after a ballistic dispersal that scatters the seeds, some ant species find and retrieve the seeds to their nest (myrmecochorous dispersal). The seed dispersal curve generated by ants in an abandoned field was described and partitioned according to ant size and to the distance to nest entrance from where seeds fell after ballistic dispersal. Both variables (ant size, distance to nest) affected dispersal distance. The seed dispersal curve showed a peak at short distance (median=1m) and a tail extending to 9.4m. The peak and the tail are explained differently. Short distances are usually generated by small ants (Pheidole pallidula and Tapinoma nigerrimum; 0.56±0.41m [n=48]) both from the nearest or farther nest entrances. The tail of the curve is generated disproportionately by big ants (Aphaenogaster senilis and Messor barbarus; 2.09±1.71m [n=61]) from farther nests. Seeds have a much greater probability (P=0.734) of being transported to nests which are not the nearest. This effect is largely due to transportation by big ants.  相似文献
