First record of Stigmatijanus Wei (Hymenoptera: Cephidae)from South Korea with description of a new species

The genus Stigmatijanus Wei, 2007 is recorded from Korea for the first time. A diagnosis of the genus is briefly discussed. A new species, Stigmatijanus koreanus sp. nov., is described from Mt. Homyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. A key to the three species of the genus is provided.     

First record of the genus Brachygaster Leach (Hymenoptera: Evaniidae) from Australia with the description of a new species

Abstract  Brachygaster murrayorum sp. n., a new species of evaniid ensign wasp, is described from northern Queensland. This is the first record of Brachygaster Leach in Australia and represents a significant range extension from Singapore, its previous closest occurrence.     

Discovery of a couple of Foenobethylus (Hymenoptera,Bethylidae) in copulation suggests a synonym under Parascleroderma

Foenobethylus Kieffer 1913 is a rare and small genus of Pristocerinae in the flat wasp family Bethylidae, with 10 described species worldwide, all of which are known only from males. In this study, we describe a new species, F. syndesis Chen & Azevedo, sp. nov., based on a couple in copulation and one additional male from China. An updated key to species of the genus is provided. In light of the first discovery of the female of Foenobethylus, the differences between Foenobethylus and Parascleroderma are discussed.     

First record of the tribe Trigonoderini (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) from South Korea with descriptions of two new species

The tribe Trigonoderini (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) contains six genera (Gastracanthus Westwood, Janssoniella Kerrich, Miscogasteriella Girault, Platygerrhus Thomson, Plutothrix Förster and Trigonoderus Westwood). This tribe is recorded from South Korea for the first time. Two new species, Janssoniella albiclava Tselikh & Lee sp. nov. from South Korea and J. magna Tselikh & Lee sp. nov. from South Korea and the South Far East of Russia, are described. Eight species (Gastracanthus acutus (Kamijo), G. nigrescens Kamijo, Janssoniella intermedia Hedqvist, Miscogasteriella sulcate (Kamijo), Plutothrix scrobicula Kamijo, P. trifasciata (Thomson), Trigonoderus fraxini Yang and T. nigrocephalus Kamijo) are recorded from South Korea for the first time. The keys for identification of the Eastern–Palearctic species of Janssoniella and Gastracanthus are given and photos of diagnostic characters of the new species are provided.     

First record of the genus Leluthia Cameron, 1887 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae,Doryctinae) in the Oriental region with description of two new species from India

The genus Leluthia Cameron, 1887 is recorded for the first time from the Oriental region. Two new species, Leluthia (Euhecabolodes) areola Ranjith et Belokobylskij, sp. nov. and L.(E.) indica Belokobylskij et Ranjith, sp. nov. are described and illustrated from the Indian states Kerala and Goa, respectively. The new species are most similar to the Western Palaearctic Hecabolus hungaricus (Szépligeti, 1900), which is reinstated from its synonymy with Polystenus and transferred to the genus Leluthia Cameron (stat. resurr. and comb. nov.).     

First record of the genus Codrus Panzer (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupidae) from South Korea with description of a new species

The genus Codrus Panzer, 1803 is recorded for the first time from South Korea. A new species and three newly recorded species are described: C. tripotini Lee and Park sp. nov., C. ciliatus Townes, 1981, C. nebriae (Watanabe, 1954) and C. niger Panzer, 1803. Additionally, C. ciliatus Townes is newly added to Chinese fauna. A key to the South Korean Codrus, diagnostic characteristics and photographs are provided.     

First record of Acaenitinae (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) from South America with description of a new species and a key to the world species of Arotes Gravenhorst

A new species of Acaenitinae, Arotes ucumari Castillo & Sääksjärvi, sp. n., is described and illustrated representing the first record of the subfamily from South America. The new species was collected from a premontane tropical rain forest in the Peruvian Andes at 1500 m. A key to the world species of Arotes Gravenhorst,1829 is provided. The subspecies Arotes albicinctus moiwanus (Matsumura, 1912)is raised to species rank, Arotes moiwanus stat. n.     

First record of Eubroncus (Hymenoptera,Mymaridae) from China,with description of three new species

The genus Eubroncus Yoshimoto, Kozlov & Trjapitzin is first recorded from China, and three species, E. hani sp. n., E. tibetanus sp. n. and E. vertexus sp. n. are described as new. A key to the six described species is given, with photomicrographs to illustrate morphological characters.     

First record of the plant bug genus Ulmica Kerzhner (Heteroptera: Miridae: Orthotylinae) from Korea,with one new species

The orthotyline plant bug genus Ulmica Kerzhner, 1988 is reported from Korean peninsula for the first time, based on finding of the second congener that is herein described as Ulmica yasunagaisp. nov. Morphological diagnosis for the genus is provided, dorsal habitus, female and male genital structure of U. yasunagai are also suggested and figured to distinguish it unequivocally from the other known species, Ulmica baicalica (Kulik). urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:94307D23-A84B-4FD9-B73B-E2C8904E37C7

 首次报道了潜织蛾属Locheutis Meyrick 在中国的分布,并 记述了一新种：天目潜织蛾Ltianmushana sp.nov.,采自浙江省天目山。该新种与 L empolaea Meyrick相似,但可通过雄性外生殖器特征区别：该种抱器瓣端部不膨大, 具稀疏刚毛;阳茎端基环端部有一堆短刺;阳茎约为抱器瓣的1.5倍长,端部具微刺和疣突 。模式标本保存在南开大学生物系。

A remarkable new genus of Braconini (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) from Papua New Guinea,reared from fallen fruit

During an investigation of the insect food web in Papua New Guinea several specimens of a new genus and species of large, black and orange braconine braconid wasp were reared from fruits of Rubiaceae. These are described here as Karposibracon papuensis Quicke & Butcher gen. et sp. nov. Karposibracon gen. nov. appears to belong to the tribe Braconini and is the largest known species in this group, with body length up to 12?mm. The new genus is illustrated photographically, distinguished from other genera, and comments are on its likely biology provided.     

A new species of Aprostocetus Westwood (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), parasitizing mango leaf gall midge (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae), from India

A new species of Aprostocetus doonensis Singh sp. nov. is described from northern India. The new species is a parasitoid of mango leaf gall midge, Procontarinia mangiferae (Felt) (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae). Some observations on biology and parasitization rate are also given.     

Study on four genera of Diplazontinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) in South Korea with description of two new species

Of 16 genera of the subfamily Diplazontinae occurring in the Eastern Palearctic region, 11 were previously recognized from South Korea. In previous studies we reviewed eight Diplazontinae genera were reviewed. In this current paper, one genus, Enizemum Förster, is recorded from this country for the first time with one newly described species, E. nigrocoxatum Balueva and Lee sp. nov. Also other three genera, Homotropus Förster, Syrphoctonus Förster and Syrphophilus Dasch, are reviewed here. Here we provide key and diagnosis to eight species of Homotropus including one new species, Homotropus sepiatus Balueva and Lee sp. nov. , and key and diagnosis to two species of genus Syrphoctonus and two species of genus Syrphophilus.     

侧织蛾属在中国首次报道及一新种记述（鳞翅目：织蛾科）

首次报道了侧织蛾属Pleurota Hübner在中国的分布,并记述一新种齿侧织蛾Pleurota dentata Wang et Li,该种采自新疆,与Pleurota rostrella Hübner相似,但可通过雄性外生殖器与之区别：新种阳茎基环基部向前缘明显渐窄,端部不膨大;阳茎基部和端部略宽于中部,基部1/3处弯,中部一侧具齿。同时报道了二中国新记录种：钝侧织蛾Pleurota obtusella Robel,分布于新疆和俄罗斯;考侧织蛾Pleurota kostjuki Lvovsky,分布于新疆和俄罗斯。文中提供了雌雄外生殖器特征图,给出了中国已知种的检索表。研究标本保存在南开大学生物系。     

点展足蛾属在中国的首次记录及一新种记述（鳞翅目：织蛾科，展足蛾亚科）

首次报道了点展足蛾属Hieromantis Meyrick在中国的分布,记述了新种申点展足蛾Hieromantis sheni Li et Wang, sp. Nov.和中国新记录种洁点展足蛾Hieromantis kurokoi Yasuda, 1988（分布于河南,陕西,河北,湖北）,并绘制了两性外生殖器图。模式标本保存在南开大学生物系标本室。
