The known alkaloids N-methylcorydine and magnoflorine were major constituents of stems and branches of Zanthoxylum punctatum (Rutaceae). Berberine was the major alkaloid of Z. monophyllum, which also contained a new pyrano-2-quinolone alkaloid, zanthophylline, and its desmethyl analog. Zanthophylline has an —NCH2OAc functional group which is readily hydrolyzed by dilute acid. Methyl vanillate and the furocoumarin columbianetin were also found in Z. monophyllum.  相似文献

The investigation of stems and leaves of Catha cassinoides afforded, in addition to sitosterol, β-amyrin, ursolic acid, lup-20(29)-en-3β,30-diol and friedelin, three new pentacyclic triterpenes: 30-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one, 29-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one and 3-oxo-friedelan-29-oic acid. The structures ofthese were determined by spectral studies and correlations, and were confirmed by X-ray analysis of 29-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one acetate.  相似文献

From the aerial parts of Canscora decussata Schult (Gentianaceae), five triterpenes, viz. gluanone, canscoradione, friedelin, fridelan-3-β-ol, and β-amyrin, three sterols, viz. sitosterol, stigmasterol, and campesterol, besides liberal amount of a mixtures of n-alkanes (C27-C31) and n-alkanols (C26-C32) have been isolated. The identity of the compounds has been established by chemical transformations, spectral evidence, and by direct comparison, where possible, with authentic reference materials. Gluanone and canscoradione have not been encountered before in nature.  相似文献

The ethanol extract of Cnidosculus urens yielded β-amyrin cinnamate and germanicol acetate. Also, using 13C NMR spectroscopy, mixtures of β-amyrin, germanicol and lupeol as well as their acetates were identified.  相似文献

A novel dipyranocoumarin, dipetalolactone {2-oxo-6,6,10,10-tetramethylbenzo[1,2-b:3,4-b′:5,6-b″]tripyran}, has been isolated from the root bark of Zanthoxylum dipetalum and its structure proven by the synthesis of tetrahydrodipetalolactone. A second new pyranocoumarin, dipetaline, has been assigned the tentative structure of 6-(3,3-dimethylallyl)-5-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl-2H-benzo[1,2-b:3,4-b′]dipyran-8-one on the basis of PMR analysis using the lanthanide shift reagent Eu(fod)3.  相似文献

A new pyranocoumarin has been isolated from the root bark of Zanthoxylum elephantiasis and identified as cis-avicennol (6-(3-hydroxy-3-methyl-cis-but-1-enyl)-5-methoxy-2,2-dimethyl- 2H-benzo [1,2b:3,4b′] dipyran-8-one) on the basis of comparison of spectral data with that of trans-avicennol and conversion to tetrahydroavicennol. The usefulness of the lanthanide shift reagent Eu(fod)3 in the assignment of cis configuration to the butenyl sidechain is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The leaves and stems of Micromelum zeylanicum have yielded a new oxazole alkaloid, O-methylhalfordinol, the coumarin micromelin and a flavone, 5-hydroxy-3,3′,4′,7,8-pentamethoxyflavone. In addition, the stems contained 6-formyl-7-methoxycoumarin, and the leaves contained the carbazole alkaloid koenigine and β-sitosterol. Chemical and spectral evidence are presented to support the proposed structures.  相似文献

β-Amyrin, sitosterol, celastrol, pristimerin, tingenone and a new hydroxymethylene quinonoid dinor-triterpene iguesterine were isolated from the root bark of Catha cassinoides. The structure of iguesterine was determined spectroscopically and by synthesis from tingenone. Tentative assignments are given for the chemical shifts of the methyl groups of iguesterin, tingenone and some of their derivatives.  相似文献

Although all parts of the geranium plant (Pelargonium hortorum) are capable of synthesizing sterols and triterpenes and their esters in vitro from mevalonic acid-[2-14C], the aerial portions are more active than other tissues. All plant parts were shown to incorporate mevalonic acid-[2-14C] into isoprenoids for at least 3 days. The leaves and petioles had the greatest incorporation on a wet weight basis. Chopped preparations showed comparable incorporations of mevalonate whereby rootlets incorporated about one half as much as most parts; the flower petals incorporated five times the average amount. In leaves the principal sterol synthesized was sitosterol. Metabolic studies with isolated leaves indicated a fairly rapid conversion of free tetracyclic triterpenes to 4-desmethyl-sterols, while β-amyrin was synthesized at a different rate than α-amyrin. Esterified tetracyclic triterpenes exhibited only a slight amount of conversion to 4-desmethylsterols.  相似文献

The biosynthesis of [14C] β-amyrin and three other labelled 3β-hydroxypentacyclic triterpenes from [2-14C] acetate in leaves of Sorghum bicolor was demonstrated. Evidence for the metabolism of [14C] β-amyrin to the corresponding C-3 ketone (β-amyrone) and for the transport of [14C] β-amyrin in leaves was also obtained.  相似文献
