Corrigia obscura sp. n. was found in the pancreatic ducts of a black duck, Anas rubripes. This is the first record of the genus Corrigia from an anseriform bird and from North America. Corrigia obscura differs from other Corrigia spp. by having a greater relative forebody length and greater relative body width. Noticeable hyperplasia and sloughing of the wall of the pancreatic ducts were associated with this infection.  相似文献

Data are given on the developmental periods of parthenites of E. pancreaticum (Janson, 1889) from the Far East of the USSR. The growth and formation of parthenites were found to take place from May to October and to coincide with the active period of the intermediate host's life cycle. With the decrease of autumn temperatures to 8 degrees the growth of parthenites slows down and ceases completely in October. The pause in the development of parthenites from October to April causes longer developmental periods of parthenites as compared to those in the regions of tropical and subtropical climate. Under laboratory conditions at a temperature of 8 to 22 degrees the development of parthenites proceeds without any intervals within 6.5 months.  相似文献

A review of the fauna of trematodes from the family Dicrocoeliidae parasitizing animals in Vietnam has been conducted. According to original and literature data, 57 trematode species from 15 genera were recorded. Data on hosts, localization, and distribution of all these species in the territory of Vietnam are given.  相似文献

Twenty-two species of Doridacea are described from the vicinity of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. None is new to science, but one species of the genus Gymnodoris was too immature to be fully identified. Ten of the 22 species are known from the Hawaiian Islands, indicating that many species of dorid occur throughout the Indian Ocean and the Pacific as far as Hawaii. One species (Jorunna tomentosa) appears to be cosmopolitan, and two may possibly be confined to the coast of Africa (Chromodoris annulata and C. vicind).
Sixty-nine species of dorid have already been reported from Tanzania by Eliot. Nine species in the present collection were not found by him, so 78 are now known from the area.  相似文献
