The ammonoid genus Cabrieroceras Bogoslovsky is recorded for the first time from the Eifelian of Salair (from the Safonovo Horizon). These ammonoids date the host rocks as the Cabrieroceras crispiforme Zone, recognized in many sections in Western Europe, North America, and North Africa. The taxonomy of the genus Cabrieroceras is discussed, and a new species, C. salairicum Nikolaeva, is described.  相似文献

A new genus, Versicolorisporium, is established for the coelomycetous fungus collected in Japan on dead culms of the bamboos Pleioblastus chino and Sasamorpha borealis. The type species of the genus, V. triseptatum, is characterized by the production of holoblastic, 3-septate, obovoid, versicolored conidia. Versicolorisporium is similar to Toxosporiella, Neohendersonia, Toxosporiopsis, and Scolicosporium in having versicolored conidia, but differs from these genera by the uniloculate pycnidial conidiomata with a periphysate ostiole, lacking paraphyses, and the conidia without black-banded septa. A BLAST search using LSU nrDNA sequence indicates that the new genus is a member of Pleosporales, Dothideomycetes.  相似文献

Two new turtles from the Lower Eocene of Saint-Papoul (Aude, France). Among the fossil turtles from of the Lower Eocene of Saint-Papoul (Aude, France), two new taxa of freshwater Testudinoidea are described. The first is a new species of the genus Palaeoemys, known before in the Lutetian of Germany. The second taxon is a new genus, also described on material of Pépieux-Cesseras and Eygalayes. A new fossil genus and species of oribatid mite, Cretaceobodes martinezae gen. et sp. nov., belonging to the family Otocepheidae is described. The new species is preserved in a piece of amber from the San Just outcrop (Teruel Province, Spain), which is believed to be Albian in age. The new genus is compared with the extant genus Carabocepheus Berlese, 1910 and its relationships with the superfamilies Otocepheoidea and Carabodoidea are discussed. Carabocepheidae is regarded as a junior synonym of Otocepheidae. Ranking Carabocepheus lounsbury latior Balogh et Mahunka, 1966 as a separate species is proposed.  相似文献

The history of the taxonomy and classification of the Famennian genus Praeglyphioceras Wedekind, 1908 and the family Praeglyphioceratidae are discussed. The sutural ontogeny of this genus, which is examined for the first time for two species of the genus, supports the high taxonomic rank of praeglyphioceratids. This family is mostly related to primitive Prionoceratoidea. A new species, Praeglyphioceras korobkovi sp. nov., is described from the delphinus Zone (Prolobites-Platyclymenia Genozone) of the Aktyubinsk Region of Kazakhstan.  相似文献

Two new species of the genus Liuenella Georgescu, 2010 from the Middle-Upper Turonian of the Crimea are described. A distinctive feature of Liuenella is the crater-like shape of pores on the shell surface. Based on characters of the new species, the diagnosis of the genus Liuenella, its stratigraphic range, and paleobiogeographical distribution are supplemented.  相似文献

Early Mesozoic Argentinian darwinuloids, now re-assigned to the genus Penthesilenula (incae group), are described and illustrated. These records seem to constitute the oldest known for the genus. The close similarities between the studied species and those described from eastern Asia enlarge the geographical distribution of Penthesilenula (incae group), which, although restricted to the southern Hemisphere in Recent and Holocene times, may have had a wider distribution in the past. Additional information on the paleoecology, plus a preliminary account on the distribution of darwinulid species from Argentina are also offered. One new species is described: Penthesilenula loana sp. nov.  相似文献

Diverse radiolarians from the Upper Cretaceous Perapedhi and Moni formations (southern Cyprus) are studied. Many representatives of the genus Afens Riedel et Sanfilippo, 1974 are recognized. The diagnosis of the genus Afens is emended and three new species of this genus, Afens perapediensis sp. nov., Afens moniensis sp. nov., and Afens concinnus sp. nov., are described. In addition, the species Afens liriodes Riedel et Sanfilippo, 1974 is redescribed.  相似文献

Based on the study of the neotype and the astogeny of the type specimens of the species Ascopora nodosa (Fischer von Waldheim, 1837), the diagnosis and species composition of the genus Ascopora Trautschold, 1876 are emended. The genus Ascopora and three species out of the five included in this genus—A. nodosa (Fischer von Waldheim, 1837); A. sokolovae Schulga-Nesterenko, 1955; and A. latiaxis Schulga-Nesterenko, 1955—are described. A new genus, Tetrasella gen. nov., with the type species T. blanda sp. nov. is described. This genus comprises five species, transferred from the composition of the genus Ascopora. An emended diagnosis of the genus Ascoporella Krutchinina, 1986, is provided. This genus comprises nine species, of which two, A. lecta sp. nov. and A. mera sp. nov., are described as new species.  相似文献

A new species of Late Cretaceous clawed lobster, Paraclytia valashtensis, is described. The discovery is a notable addition to the sparse decapod fossil record of Iran, and this is the first record of the genus outside central Europe. The four previously known species of Paraclytia are from Germany and the Czech Republic, so this discovery represents a significant expansion of the palaeogeographic range of the genus.  相似文献

White blister rust of sunflower is an emerging disease that is among the most important diseases in this crop in South Africa and has recently spread to Europe. For the genus Albugo, it has been demonstrated that species are mostly at least host genus specific and that several previously overlooked species are present on Brassicaceae. It thus seems likely that previously unrecognised species are also present in the genus Pustula. Based on previous phylogenetic reconstruction in combination with differences in oospore ornamentation, it is revealed that Pustula on sunflower, previously attributed to Pustula tragopogonis (syn. Albugo tragopogonis), is distinct from Pustula on Tragopogon. Therefore, this pathogen is described as a new species, Pustula helianthicola. In addition, taxonomic observations revealed that Pustula tragopogonis is an incorrect name and is replaced by the new combination, Pustula obtusata.  相似文献

Five new species, Petrobius caucasicus sp. n., Trigoniophthalmus presimplex sp. n., T. divnogorski sp. n., T. kislovodski sp. n., and T. adigei sp. n. (Machilidae), are described from the Caucasus. A key to all the known species of the genus Trigoniophthalmus is given. Two subgenera (Trigoniophthalmus s. str., Trigoniocellus subgen. n.) in the genus Trigoniophthalmus are described. 2 + 2 retractile vesicles are present on abdominal segments II–IV in the species of Trigoniocellus subgen. n. and on II–V abdominal segments in Trigoniophthalmus s. str. Analysis of the evolution and phylogenetic relations between the species of the genus Trigoniophthalmus is performed for the first time. The formation of bristletails of the genus Trigoniophthalmus appears to occur in the Caucasian mountain province of the European area, from where they penetrated to the Central European mixed province and the Mediterranean subarea. Among the described species of the genus, T. kislovodski is distinguished by the greatest number of plesiomorphic states of morphological characters.  相似文献

A new species of the genus Stathmopoda from the Ryukyu Islands, Japan, is described. The new species is associated with Diospyros maritima Blume and is very similar to S. masinissa Meyrick, which is a notorious pest of persimmon, D. kaki L., in Japan and Korea. The adult external features, wing venation, and male and female genitalia of both species are illustrated and compared in detail.  相似文献
