裴氏金线鱼的重新描述及其与近似种横斑金线鱼的形态学比较(英文)

裴氏金线鱼和横斑金线鱼是金线鱼属中 2 种重要的经济鱼类,广泛分布于我国的东南沿海及印度太平洋海域。由于这 2 种金线鱼外部形态十分相似,导致其分类鉴定非常困难。尽管过去有些学者曾经对它们分别进行过形态描述,但是目前文献中仍存在许多同物异名及鉴定错误,特别是在中国这 2 种鱼类的命名和鉴定始终未能形成统一的共识。本文对裴氏金线鱼和横斑金线鱼进行了形态学比较研究,发现裴氏金线鱼和横斑金线鱼在体型、体色、背鳍及鳃弓的形状等特征上存在明显差异。金线鱼属是我国重要的渔业种类,研究它们的形态分类学特征并进行准确的物种鉴定,对该属鱼类单一种类的资源评估和资源保护具有重要意义。     

Morphology–diet relationships in four killifishes (Teleostei, Cyprinodontidae, Orestias) from Lake Titicaca

This study explores the relationship between morphology and diet in four Andean killifishes ( Orestias ) from Lake Titicaca that are known to differ in habitat use. Species that fed preferentially on amphipods ( Orestias albus ) or molluscs ( Orestias luteus ) separated in multivariate space from other species that feed on cladocera and algae ( Orestias agassii and Orestias jussiei ). Generally, specimens feeding on cladocera were characterized by a short, blunt nose with a small mouth; whereas, specimens feeding on amphipods exhibited a long snout with a large mouth. Specimens including molluscs in their diet tended to have a larger posterior part of the head and the larger opercles than others; while the occurrence of substratum in gut content was generally related to a short but deep head. The present analysis suggests that the littoral O. jussiei has an intermediate phenotype and diet between the pelagic ( O. agassii ) and benthic ( O. albus and O. luteus ) species. Results suggest that resource partitioning was occurring and that several morphological traits relate to characteristics of the diet, and it is inferred that the benthic, the pelagic and the littoral zones in the lake host different prey communities constituting distinct adaptive landscapes.

Vocalizations of Hypsiboas goianus (Lutz, 1968) (Anura: Hylidae) in Central Brazil

Environmental and morphological factors and social context influence the vocalizations of anuran species. Herein, we observed the acoustic behavior of Hypsiboas goianus males from Central Brazil and analyzed the following calls: advertisement, short aggressive and long aggressive. The acoustic parameters of advertisement calls were not correlated with air temperature, mass or snout–vent length; however, the acoustic parameters of short aggressive calls were influenced by these variables. The temporal parameters of advertisement and short aggressive calls were classified as dynamic properties, while the dominant frequency was considered a static property. Dominant frequency is the most important variable to discriminate calls among individuals.     

Raja koreana, a new species of skate (Elasmobranchii, Rajoidei) from Korea

A new rajid species,Raja koreana, is described from a single adult female specimen, 735 mm in total length, collected off the southwestern coast of the Korean Peninsula. AlthoughR. koreana is included in the group of species characterized by the scapulocoracoid lacking an anterior bridge and having the postventral fenestra expanded, it is unique among the latter in possessing: pectoral girdle propterygium not extending to snout tip; rostral shaft of neurocranium narrow and thick, unsegmented base with filamentous cartilage; snout fleshy; pores of ampullae of Lorenzini densely distributed over much of ventral surface to behind cloaca; most thorns on tail directed anteriorly; tail short; a pair of longitudinally elongated black blotches on middle of dorsal surface of disc when fresh; a pair of black blotches (grayish at center) posteriorly on pectoral fins; ventral surface of dise uniformly blackish-brown, except for areas around pores.

A SHORT-SNOUTED DYROSAURID (CROCODYLIFORMES, MESOEUCROCODYLIA) FROM THE PALAEOCENE OF MOROCCO

Abstract:  This paper describes a new genus and species of dyrosaurid, Chenanisuchus lateroculi gen. et sp. nov. (Crocodyliformes, Mesoeucrocodylia) from the Thanetien (Late Palaeocene) of the Oulad Abdoun Basin, Morocco. This new taxon has a particularly short snout, as well as widely separated and laterally facing orbits. In the holotype, the mandible exhibits a retroarticular process that is strongly depressed posterior to the glenoid fossa, bringing the ventral margin of the medial wing of the articular to the same level as the ventral margin of the retroarticular process. This feature is shared with Congosaurus bequaerti , Dyrosaurus and isolated dyrosaurid material from Mali and Niger, but is absent in the putative closely related crocodyliforms, such as pholidosaurids and Terminonaris , and could be a dyrosaurid character.     

A new species of Andean toad (Bufonidae, Osornophryne) discovered using molecular and morphological data, with a taxonomic key for the genus

Combining a molecular phylogeny and morphological data, we discovered a new species of Osornophryne from the Amazonian slope of the Ecuadorian Andes. Morphologically, the new taxon is distinguished from all others species in Osornophryne by having the Toes IV and V longer than Toes I-III, a short and rounded snout with a small rostral papilla, and conical pustules on flanks. The new species previously was confused with Osornophryne guacamayo. A taxonomic key is provided for all known species of Osornophryne.     

Records ofApristurus herklotsi (Lamniformes,Scyliorhinidae) and discussion of its taxonomic relationships

Additional specimens of the rareApristurus herklotsi are reported, and the characteristic features of this species are discussed.A. herklotsi is concluded to be a distinct species, having a very long snout, a narrow distance between the nostrils, a long caudal fin, a short abdomen, numerous teeth on both jaws, and a low number of monospondylous vertebrae.A. herklotsi appears to be mature at about 44 cm in total length.     

Redescription ofApristurus sibogae,and its taxonomic relationships (Lamniformes,Scyliorhinidae)

The holotype and only existing specimen ofApristurus sibogae was surveyed and was found to be very fragile, breaking down into several pieces, and strongly contracted. As the species is still only poorly known, the holotype was redescribed, reassessing the proportion of the contracted holotype. It was concluded thatA. sibogae is very similar to JapaneseA. platyrhynchus, but that it represents a distinct species, characterized by a short snout, posterior 1st and 2nd dorsal fins and a narrow interorbital region.
