Eleven species of wild mushrooms which belong to Boletaceae and Russulaceae families were examined by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis for the presence of fatty acids. As far as we know, the fatty acid profiles of B. purpureus and B. rhodoxanthus were described for the first time. Twenty‐six fatty acids were determined. Linoleic (19.5 – 72%), oleic (0.11 – 64%), palmitic (5.9 – 22%) and stearic acids (0.81 – 57%) were present in the highest contents. In all samples, unsaturated fatty acids dominate. Agglomerative hierarchical clustering was used to display the correlation between the fatty acids and their relationships with the mushroom species. Based on the fatty acids profile in the samples, the mushrooms can be divided into two families: Boletaceae and Russulaceae families, using cluster analysis.  相似文献

The non-polar lipid content and fatty acid (FA) composition of 11 mushroom species of the family Boletaceae were determined. The non-polar lipid content ranged from 2.0 (Leccinum aurantiacum and Boletus erythropus) to 5.4 % (w/w) d.w. (Suillus grevillei) with an average value of 2.9 %. More than 25 different FAs were found in the mushroom lipids. Unsaturated FAs, mainly linoleic and oleic acids, accounted for about 83 % of the total FAs, while palmitic acid was the main saturated FA. Some FAs are identified for the first time in Boletaceae and in higher Basidiomycetes (cis-11,12-methyleneoctadecanoic acid, 7-cis,10-cis hexadecadienoic) or in fungi (cis-11,12-methyleneoctadecanoic acid). There were significant differences (P < 0.05) in the contents of specific FAs between mushroom species.  相似文献

The present study was conducted to study some biochemical characteristics of Tunisian Nigella sativa at different developmental stages of plant growth (vegetative, flowering and fruiting stages) and to screen the chemical constituents and the phytotoxic activity of their organic extracts on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). The GC–MS analysis of petroleum ether fractions revealed that N. sativa seeds were rich in linoleic acid (58% of total fatty acids), oleic acid (22% of total fatty acids) and palmitic acid (12% of total fatty acids). The fatty acid composition of aerial parts showed an increase in the level of saturated fatty acids accompanied by a concomitant decrease of polyunsaturated fatty acids levels during the developmental stage. The phytochemical investigation showed that among the organic extracts, the methanolic extract from aerial parts harvested at the fruiting stage contained the highest amounts of phenolic and flavonoid compounds. The phytotoxic study revealed that N. sativa negatively affected the growth of lettuce plants. This effect was largely dependent on the developmental stage at which material was collected and the nature of extracting solvent. The methanolic extract of aerial parts harvested at the vegetative stage was the most active on seedling growth of lettuce.  相似文献

Indole compounds were found in the fruiting bodies of selected mushroom species both before and after thermal processing. On the basis of HPLC analyses the following indole compounds were detected: l-tryptophan, 5-hydroxytryptophan, 5-methyltryptophan, tryptamine, 5-methyltryptamine, serotonin, indole and melatonin. The compound that was present in the largest amounts in the methanolic extracts from unprocessed mushrooms was 5-hydroxytryptophan in the amount of 7.32 mg/100 g DW in the case of the fruiting bodies of Auricularia polytricha; 15.83 in Suillus bovinus; 22.94 in Macrolepiota procera, and 24.83 in Lentinula edodes. In the methanolic extracts from thermally processed mushrooms the amount of 5-hydroxytryptophan was: 3.52 mg/100 g DW in the case of A. polytricha; 5.65 for Leccinum scabrum and 10.11 for M. procera. In addition, serotonin was found in unprocessed fruiting bodies of two mushroom species: 1.03 mg/100 g DW in L. edodes and 13.99 in L. scabrum, and also in thermally processed mushrooms.  相似文献

The activity of trypsin-like proteinases and trypsin inhibitors was measured in fruiting bodies of various species of basidial fungi (Basidiomycetes). Fruiting bodies of all fungi contained these enzymes, with the exceptions of polypore (Coriolus versicolor (Fr.) Karst) and hedgehog fungus (Hericium erinaceus (Fr.) Quel), belonging to the families Polyporaceae and Hericiaceae, respectively, in which the enzyme activities were barely detectable. The activity of trypsin-like proteinases was the highest in fruiting bodies of Boletaceae and Agaricaceae. Fruiting bodies of all fungi contained trypsin inhibitors. The highest activity of trypsin inhibitors was detected in basidiomycetes of the families Boletaceae, Agaricaceae, and Pleurotaceae, including Boletus castanus (Fr.) Karst, orange-cap boletus (Leccinum aurantiacum (Fr.) Sing), and brown-cap boletus (Leccinum melanum (Fr.) Karst).  相似文献

In the present study, the lipid composition from male and female Hylobius abietis is analyzed pre- and post-infection with Beauveria bassiana. The compounds are analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. In the lipids of males and females fatty acids, fatty acid methyl esters, alcohols, amino acids and other organic compounds are identified. The lipids of males and females after B. bassiana exposure contain 31 and 33 organic compounds, respectively, whereas the lipids of non-infected males and females contain 30 and 37 compounds, respectively. The most abundant compounds in infected and non-infected males are fatty acids: C16:0, C18:0, C18:1 and C18:2. Contents of dominant compounds from the lipids of infected and non-infected males are similar to those extracted from the lipids of infected and non-infected females. It should be noted that the total mass of organic compounds is higher in non-infected insects than infected insects.  相似文献

Diets rich in unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids have a positive effect on mammalian torpor, whereas diets rich in saturated fatty acids have a negative effect. To determine whether the number of double bonds in dietary fatty acids are responsible for these alterations in torpor patterns, we investigated the effect of adding to the normal diet 5% pure fatty acids of identical chain length (C18) but a different number of double bonds (0, 1, or 2) on the pattern of hibernation of the yellow-pine chipmunk, Eutamias amoenus. The response of torpor bouts to a lowering of air temperature and the mean duration of torpor bouts at an air temperature of 0.5°C (stearic acid C18:0, 4.5±0.8 days, oleic acid C18:1, 8.6±0.5 days; linoleic acid C18:2, 8.5±0.7 days) differed among animals that were maintained on the three experimental diets. The mean minimum body temperatures (C18:0, +2.3±0.3°C; C18:1, +0.3±0.2°C; C18:2,-0.2±0.2°C), which torpid individuals defended by an increase in metabolic rate, and the metabolic rate of torpid animals also differed among diet groups. Moreover, diet-induced differences were observed in the composition of total lipid fatty acids from depot fat and the phospholipid fatty acids of cardiac mitochondria. For depot fat 7 of 13 and for heart mitochondria 7 of 14 of the identified fatty acids differed significantly among the three diet groups. Significant differences among diet groups were also observed for the sum of saturated, unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. These diet-induced alterations of body fatty acids were correlated with some of the diet-induced differences in variables of torpor. Verification of Pleurotus eryngii strains was assessed using ITS sequence analysis and RAPD fingerprinting. Sequence analysis of the ITS1–5.8S rDNA–ITS2 region of 24 strains of Pleurotus sp., which consisted of 22 strains of P. eryngii and the control strains P. ostreatus and P. ferulae, demonstrated that the DNA regions share mostly 99 % sequence identity, indicating that sequence-based analysis is not applicable for the verification of closely related mushroom strains. To verify the mushroom strains using RAPD, we amplified DNA fragments from the total cellular DNA of 24 mushroom strains with 18 different random primers, yielding 538 distinct DNA fragments ranging from 200–4000 bp. Analysis of the DNA fragment pattern showed that the 22 P. eryngii strains were clearly distinguished from the control strains P. ostreatus and P. ferulae, and could be categorized into five subgroups. Subsequent physiological studies on the development of fruiting bodies demonstrated the close correlation of the RAPD-based grouping with the phenotypical characteristics of mushroom fruiting bodies.  相似文献

The fatty acid composition of foliar buds, young, mature, and senescent leaves, and stem parts of the rice-field weed, Ludwigia adscendens L. (Onagraceae) was analyzed by thin layer chromatography and gas chromatography flame ionization detection. The analysis of fatty acid composition revealed that saturated fatty acids (i.e., C14:0, C16:0, and C18:0) were prevailing compounds among the all weed parts except senescent leaves where C18:1 was predominant. The esterified fatty acids isolated from different weed parts over the range of 10–100 μg/ml followed by individual synthetic esterified fatty acids that were identified from the esterified extracts of different weed parts, and a mixture of synthetic esterified fatty acids except esterified eicosenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid were applied to identify their role as a chemical cue for a potential biocontrol agent, Altica cyanea (Weber) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) in a Y-tube olfactometer under laboratory conditions. In this bioassay, the esterified fatty acids from mature leaves and stem parts of this weed attracted A. cyanea at 20–100 μg/ml and at 80 μg/ml concentrations, respectively. Clear attraction was recorded by female A. cyanea insects in the mixture of synthetic esterified fatty acids at 60, 80, and 100 μg/ml concentrations. It is thus concluded that A. cyanea rely on an effective proportion of esterified fatty acids as an olfactory cue for attraction.  相似文献

Forty Large White pigs were fed from 30kg to 103kg body mass on diets supplemented with 6% of pure high-oleic sunflower oil (HO) or HO plus increasing amounts of partially hydrogenated rape seed oil (HR; 1.85%, 3.70%, 5.55%), containing high levels of j 6 to j 11 C 18:1 trans fatty acid isomers. Increasing dietary C 18: trans fatty acids resulted in a linear increase in C 18:1 trans fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid (cis-9, trans-11 CLA) in backfat (BF) as well as in neutral lipids (NL) and phospholipids (PL) of M. long. dorsi. Thus, the rate of bioconversion of trans vaccenic acid (TVA) into CLA and incorporation of C 18:1 trans and CLA into pig adipose tissue was not limited up to 25g total C 18:1 trans fatty acids including 3.3g of TVA perkg feed. BF was higher in C 18:1 trans fatty acids and CLA than M. long. dorsi NL and PL. In BF and NL the sum of saturated fatty acids (SFA) increased with increasing dietary amounts of HR, while in PL SFA were reduced. Thus, according to their physical properties, C 18:1 trans fatty acids partly replaced SFA in PL. Firmness of backfat was also significantly increased (P<0.05) with increasing amounts of HR in feed.  相似文献

The arthropod cuticle acts as a physiochemical barrier protecting the organism from pathogens' entry. Entomopathogenic fungi actively penetrate the cuticles of arthropod hosts and are therefore directly affected by cuticle composition. Previously we have observed that Metarhizium spp. developing on resistant ticks ultimately die without penetrating tick's cuticle, suggesting that the cuticles of resistant ticks have antifungal compounds. In the present study, lipids and water-soluble cuticular components were extracted from engorged female tick cuticles, of one susceptible and one resistant tick species to Metarhizium spp. While conidia exposed to lipids from the susceptible tick, Rhipicephalus annulatus, germinated and differentiated into appressorium, conidia exposed to lipids from the resistant tick, Hyalomma excavatum, were inhibited. Soluble cuticular component extracts from both susceptible and resistant ticks stimulated conidial germination but not appressorium differentiation. A comparative analysis of the fatty acid profile in lipid extract of each tick exhibited similar compositions, but the relative abundance of C16:0, C18:0, C18:1ω9C and C20:0 was 2–5 times higher in the extracts from resistant ticks. All of these fatty acids inhibited conidial germination in vitro at 1% and 0.1% w/v concentration, but C20:0 stimulated appressorium differentiation at low concentration. This is the first report demonstrating a possible link between the presence of antifungal compounds in a specific concentration in tick cuticle and tick resistance to infection.  相似文献

Amanita rubescens Pers., Lactarius affinis Pk., Leccinum aurantiacum (Fr.) S.F. Gray, Tylopilus felleus (Bull. ex Fe.) Karsten, and two isolates of Suillus intermedius (Smith & Thiers) Smith & Thiers collected from an approximately 55-year-old Pinus resinosa Ait. plantation, and Pisolithus tinctorius (Pers.) Coker & Couch obtained from another source, were tested for their abilities to grow with protein as the primary source of nitrogen. Protein plates contained 63 mg l–1 N as bovine serum albumen and 7 mg l–1 N as arginine. Control plates contained only 7 mg l–1 N as arginine. All isolates except Leccinum aurantiacum and one isolate of S. intermedius attained greater dry weight with protein as the primary source of N. Lactarius affinis, Leccinum aurantiacum, P. tinctorius, and both isolates of S. intermedius had higher tissue densities on protein medium. Amanita rubescens had lower tissue density. To determine if increase in tissue density was an effect of total N concentration or an effect of N source (protein versus arginine), we performed a second experiment in which arginine concentration was increased (7 mg l–1 N versus 70 mg l–1 N). The second experiment also included Cenococcum geophilum Fr. but excluded T. felleus. Higher tissue densities with increased nutrients were found in C. geophilum, Lactarius affinis, Leccinum aurantiacum, and both isolates of S. intermedius. Only A. rubescens and P. tinctorius did not have increased densities. The results suggest that these ectomycorrhizal fungi alter their growth forms according to N concentration. At low N concentrations, a growth form likely to promote exploitation of a large volume of medium for a given biomass is produced. At high concentrations, a growth form likely to promote exploitation of a rich source of N is produced. Whether ectomycorrhizal fungi growing in association with roots would act in a similar fashion is not known. Accepted: 30 July 1998  相似文献

Total lipid and the fatty acid compositions of phospholipid and triacylglycerol fractions, prepared from eggs, 3rd instars of larvae, pupae, male and female adults of Lertha sheppardi, were analyzed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The effect of diet (adults’ nutrition) on fatty acid composition of L. sheppardi adults was also investigated. Total lipid of L. sheppardi considerably increased in adults compared with immature stages. There was a significant decrease in total lipid level in larval stage in contrast with egg stage. Qualitative analysis revealed the presence of 14 fatty acids during all stages. The major components were C16 and C18 saturated and unsaturated components which are ubiquitous to most animal species. In addition to these components, one odd-chain (C17:0) and prostaglandin precursor fatty acids were found. The fatty acid profiles of phospholipids and triacylglycerols were substantially different. In phospholipid fraction, monounsaturated fatty acids were the major proportion of fatty acids in both sex of adults and pupae, whereas polyunsaturated fatty acids were the most dominant fatty acids in eggs and 3rd instars. Results of triacylglycerol fraction revealed that fatty acid composition of eggs had higher level of C16:1, C18:0 and C18:3n-3 content than that of 3rd instars and pupae, which suggests accumulation of energetic and structural reserve materials during embryonic development. At more advanced developmental stages, mainly in adult females, the amount of C16:1 increased once again, which may be related to the need for accumulation of sufficient energy and of carbon reservoir in the developing new vitellum. Percentages of C18:1 were significantly high in adult stages compared to other stages. These findings indicate that the accumulation and consumption of fatty acids fluctuate through different development stages. Diet did not effect the fatty acid composition of L. sheppardi adults.  相似文献

Risk and essential elements were determined in fruiting bodies of wild growing edible mushrooms Chlorophyllum rhacodes, Suillus grevillei, Imleria badia, and Xerocomellus chrysenteron collected in an unpolluted site in South Bohemia, the Czech Republic. The elements were also determined in underlying soils and the bioconcentration factors were calculated. The analyses revealed that C. rhacodes accumulated Ag, Cu, Rb, Se, Zn, As, Cd, and Tl. On the other hand, S. grevillei accumulated Cd, Rb, Ag, Se, and Cs. I. badia and X. chrysenteron strongly accumulated Rb, Cs, and Ag; these species showed the ability to accumulate Cu and Zn as well. Contents of detrimental CrVI were in all cases below the quantification limit (0.003 mg kg?1 dry matter). Studied mushroom species (mainly C. rhacodes) accumulated some toxic elements. However, no considerable effect on human health is expected since they are usually consumed as a delicacy and do not represent a major component of diet.  相似文献

The goal of this research was a comprehensive analysis of four wild edible mushroom species, Cantharellus cinereus, Clavariadelphus pistillaris, Clitocybe nebularis and Hygrocybe punicea, which have not been analyzed so far. Extracts of different polarities have been prepared and evaluated for their antioxidant activities by DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, TRP and CUPRAC methods. For all extracts, total phenolic content was determined. Based on the analysis, it was shown that solvent type had a significant effect on the antioxidant capacities of mushroom extracts, so water extracts showed the highest activity. Furthermore, the analysis includes determination of mineral composition, fatty acid profiles and antimicrobial activity. Unsaturated fatty acids, which are very important for human health, are dominant in the studied mushroom species. Linoleic and oleic acid consist of over 50 % of the total fatty acid composition. Seventeen biologically important and toxic elements have been analyzed by ICP‐OES and ICP‐MS and results showed that the element concentrations were species‐dependent. Also, it has been found that analyzed mushrooms did not show any antimicrobial activity. Chemometric analysis was used to understand the connection between the extracts of different polarities.  相似文献

A psychrophilic yeast with a basidiomycetous developmental cycle and properties corresponding to the genusLeucosporidium Fell et al. was isolated from the fruiting body of the edible spring mushroom Gyromitra esculenta Pers. picked near Moscow. However, the isolate differed from all Leucosporidium species described to date in a number of characteristics. The results of the study of the developmental cycle and of the cultural, morphological, physiological, and biochemical properties of the new isolate, strain KBP Y-3696, allow it to be assigned to a new species of the genus Leucosporidium.  相似文献
