Thirteen alkaloids were isolated from Crinum moorei two of which are new. These are 3-[4'-(8'-aminoethyl)phenoxy] bulbispermine and mooreine. The structures of the new alkaloids were determined by spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

A new coumarin, (?)-cis-(3′R,4′R)-4′-O-angeloylkhellactone-3′-O-β-d-glucopyranoside (1) and two new chalcones, 3′-[(2E)-5-carboxy-3-methyl-2-pentenyl]-4,2′,4′-trihydroxychalcone (4) and (±)-4,2′,4′-trihydroxy-3′-{2-hydroxy-2-[tetrahydro-2-methyl-5-(1-methylethenyl)-2-furanyl]ethyl}chalcone (5) were isolated from the aerial parts of Angelica keiskei (Umbelliferae), together with six known compounds: (R)-O-isobutyroyllomatin (2), 3′-O-methylvaginol (3), (?)-jejuchalcone F (6), isoliquiritigenin (7), davidigenin (8), and (±)-liquiritigenin (9). The structures of the new compounds were determined by interpretation of their spectroscopic data including 1D and 2D NMR data. All known compounds (2, 3, and 69) were isolated as constituents of A. keiskei for the first time. To identify novel hepatocyte proliferation inducer for liver regeneration, 19 were evaluated for their cell proliferative effects using a Hep3B human hepatoma cell line. All isolates exhibited cell proliferative effects compared to untreated control (DMSO). Cytoprotective effects against oxidative stress induced by glucose oxidase were also examined on Hep3B cells and mouse fibroblast NIH3T3 cells and all compounds showed significant dose-dependent protection against oxidative stress.  相似文献

Sixteen more Amaryllidaceae alkaloids have been isolated from bulbs of Crinum kirkii Baker of which noraugustamine and 4a,N-dedihydronoraugustamine are hitherto unknown. Their structures and those of earlier known alkaloids have been established by physical and spectroscopic analysis. Application of 2D NMR techniques was used for complete characterization of the alkaloids as well as of 3-O-acetylsanguinine. 1,2-Diacetyllycorine and 3-O-acetylsanguinine showed activity against Trypanosoma brucci rhodesiense, the parasite associated with sleeping sickness. 3-O-acetylsanguinine also showed some activity against Trypanosoma cruzi.  相似文献

From bulbs of Crinum americanum oxocrinine, an intermediate in the biosynthesis of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids, was isolated for the first time. In addition, the plant contains crinine, flexinine, O-acetylcrinine, lycorine, hippadine, pratorinine, pratorimine, pratosine, ungeremine and trisphaeridine. The alkaloids were identified by spectroscopic evidence, chemical transformations and partial syntheses.  相似文献

Antimalarial bioassay-guided fractionation of the swamp lily Crinum erubescens led to the isolation of four compounds with potent antiplasmodial activity. Compounds 1 and 2 were determined from their spectroscopic data to be the known pesticidal compound cripowellin A and the known pesticidal and antiproliferative compound cripowellin B. 1D and 2D-NMR techniques were used to determine the identities of 3 and 4 as the new compounds cripowellin C and D. A fifth compound was identified as the known alkaloid hippadine, which was inactive against Plasmodium falciparum. The antiplasmodial IC50 values of compounds 14 were determined to be 30 ± 2, 180 ± 20, 26 ± 2, and 260 ± 20 nM, respectively, and their antiproliferative IC50 values against the A2780 human ovarian cancer cell line were 11.1 ± 0.4, 16.4 ± 0.1, 25 ± 2, and 28 ± 1 nM.  相似文献

From the bulbs of Crinum pratense, collected at flowering, lycorine, 1,2-diacetyllycorine, ambelline, narcissidine, and three phenanthridone alkaloids, viz. hippadine, pratorinine and anhydrolycorin-7-one, were isolated and characterized on the basis of comprehensive spectral analyses (UV, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, MS, [α]D) and chemical evidence. Among the phenanthridone alkaloids (1–3, only the natural occurrence of hippadine was previously known. Pratorinine is a new phenanthridone alkaloid and anhydrolycorin-7-one was known before only as a synthetic compound. The physiological significance of hippadine is appraised.  相似文献

The trunk wood of Qualea labouriauana contains, besides (2R)-5,7,4′-trihydroxy-3′-methoxy-6,8-dimethylflavanone, (2R)-5,7,4′-trihydroxy-8-methylflavanone, the biosynthetically interesting 2,2′-dihydroxy-4,6,4′,6′-tetramethoxy-3,3′-dimethylbenzophenone. From the trunk wood extract of Q. paraensis the first named flavanone crystallized out directly.  相似文献

The bulbs of Crinum jagus and Crinum glaucum are used in traditional medicine in southern Nigeria for memory loss and other mental symptoms associated with ageing. Alkaloidal extracts of bulbs from each species showed inhibition of acetylcholinesterase, an activity exploited therapeutically to raise the depressed levels of acetylcholine in the brain associated with Alzheimer's disease. Using the in situ bioautographic test method for enzyme inhibition, a number of alkaloids were isolated and their activity quantified using the Ellman spectrophotometric test. The most active alkaloids isolated were hamayne (IC50 250 microM) and lycorine (IC50 450 microM) whilst other alkaloids were comparatively inactive with haemanthamane giving 3% inhibition and crinamine giving 4.4% inhibition at 50 mg ml(-1) (174 microM). These contrast with the positive control physostigmine which gave IC50 of 0.25 microM. Cholinesterase activity appears to be associated with the presence of two free hydroxy groups in this structural type of Amaryllidaceae alkaloid.  相似文献

Tyramine, a rarely encountered constituent of higher plants,has been isolated from the exudates obtained from the cut flower-stalksof Crinum yuccaeflorum Salisb. It was present at a concentrationof 7 mg. per ml. and represented at least 90 per cent, of theamino nitrogen present in the exudate. The significance of thisobservation is briefly discussed. Two flavonoid aglycons, eight flavonoid glycosides, chlorogenic acid and syringin were isolated from aerial parts of Carthamus lanatus. Isorhamnetin 3-O-beta-D-glucoside and chlorogenic acid were found for the first time in the genus Carthamus and respectively, quercimeritrin, astragalin, kaempferol 3-O-beta-D-sophoroside and syringin in the species. The ethyl acetate fraction of the methanol extract exhibited a higher antioxidant activity than the butanol fraction measured by the alpha,alpha-diphenyl-beta-picrazylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay. Cytotoxicity and antioxidant activities of the main constituent, luteolin 7-O-beta-D-glucoside, were evaluated.  相似文献

From the roots of Crepis conyzifolia, two new and two known guaianolides were isolated together with three known phenylpropanoids. Structures of the new compounds were established as 8beta-hydroxy-4beta, 15-dihydrozaluzanin C and 4beta, 15, 11beta, 13-tetrahydrozaluzanin C-3-O-beta-glucopyranoside by spectral methods. Several alkaloids were isolated from Crinum augustum grown in Assiut, Egypt. Two were identified as lycorine and buphanisine. In addition two new non-hydroxylated alkaloids of identical molecular formula C17H19NO4 were investigated by spectroscopic methods. The gross structure of the first, termed augustine, belongs to the 1,2-epoxy-5, 10-b-ethanophenanthridine-type. In contrast the second could not be related to any of the known alkaloid types of the Amaryllidaceae.  相似文献
