INTRODUCTIONIn the summer of 1963 a very interesting collection was made by Mr.C.M.Weiof the Paleontological Division,Institute of Science,Bureau of Petroleum of Sinkiang.The whole collection was sent to the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoan-thropology for determination.It represents for the first time the sure presence of Ptero-sauria in China.All the remains belong certainly to the sub-order Pterodactyloidea(inbroad sense)and will be described in the present paper.As the field data on the oc-currence of this find are completely not available except the attached etiquette and a feworal informations given by A.L.Sun and H.T.Chao,I prefer to restrict the presentpaper to the paleontological study only.he geological condition will be given later,ifnew collection will be made.  相似文献

Soybean cyst nematode (SCN; Heterodera glycines) Is one of the most Important pests affecting soybean production. The best method of control of SCN is through the development of resistant cultlvars. However, limited progress has been made in soybean breeding In China because most modern cultlvars have no resistance to SCN. The distribution and phenotype of 432 immune or highly resistant Chinese accessions were surveyed and a primary core collection was selected as a representative sample for further analyses. Using evenly distributed simple sequence repeat markers, five selection methods were applied to the primary core collection and the optimal method was chosen to establish a core collection, which consisted of 28 accessions. These encompassed 70.8% of the ailelic variation present in the overall resistant collection. The 28 accessions differed from the reference resistant accessions at the genomlc level, Indicating that Chinese resistant accessions are distinct from known resistant accessions. This applied core collection provides a rational framework for undertaking diversity surveys, using genetic variation for the investigation of complex traits and for the discovery of novel traits.  相似文献

In this study, the genetic diversity of 51 cultivars in the primary core collection of peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch) was evaluated by using simple sequence repeats (SSRs). The phylogenetic relationships and the evolutionary history among different cultivars were determined on the basis of SSR data. Twenty-two polymorphic SSR primer pairs were selected, and a total of 111 alleles were identified in the 51 cultivars, with an average of 5 alleles per locus. According to traditional Chinese classification of peach cultivars, the 51 cultivars in the peach primary core collection belong to six variety groups. The SSR analysis revealed that the levels of the genetic diversity within each variety group were ranked as Sweet peach 〉 Crisp peach 〉 Flat peach 〉 Nectarine 〉 Honey Peach 〉 Yellow fleshed peach. The genetic diversity among the Chinese cultivars was higher than that among the introduced cultivars. Cluster analysis by the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic averaging (UPGMA) placed the 51 cultivars into five linkage clusters. Cultivar members from the same variety group were distributed in different UPGMA clusters and some members from different variety groups were placed under the same cluster. Different variety groups could not be differentiated in accordance with SSR markers. The SSR analysis revealed rich genetic diversity in the peach primary core collection, representative of genetic resources of peach.  相似文献

Congenital heart disease(CHD) is the most frequent birth defect(0.8%–1% of all live births). Due to the advance in prenatal and postnatal early diagnosis and treatment, more than90% of these patients survive into adulthood today. However, several mid- and long-term morbidities are dominating the follow-up of these patients. Due to the rarity and heterogeneity of the phenotypes of CHD, multicenter registry-based studies are required. The CHD-Biobank was established in 2009 with the aim to collect DNA from patients and their parents(trios) or from affected families, as well as cardiovascular tissues from patients undergoing corrective heart surgery for cardiovascular malformations. Clinical/phenotype data are matched to the International Paediatric and Congenital Cardiac Code(IPCCC) and the International Statistical Classi?cation of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10 th Revision(ICD-10). The DNA collection currently comprises samples from approximately 4200 participants with a wide range of CHD phenotypes.The collection covers about 430 trios and 120 families with more than one affected member. The cardiac tissue collection comprises 1143 tissue samples from 556 patients after open heart surgery.  相似文献

Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants. A peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using lo9 simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers, which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments, exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel. A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups. Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than o.05, indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini- core collection. For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel, generally the Q + K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model. In total, 89 SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q+K model-based association analysis. Of these, eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments, and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits. Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers. Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection.  相似文献

GPV is a Chinese serotype isolate of barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV) that has no reactionwith antiserum of MAV, PAV, SGV, RPV and RMV. The sequence of the coat protein (CP) of GPV isolate of BYDV was identified and its amino acid sequence was deduced. The coding region for the putative GPV CP is 603 bases nucleotides and encodes a Mr 22218 (22 ku) protein. The same as MAV, PAV and RPV, GPV contained a second ORF within the coat protein coding region. This protein of 17024 Mr (17 ku) is thought to correspond to the Virion protein genome linked (Vpg). Sequence comparisons of the CP coding region between the GPV isolate of BYDV and other isolates of BYDV have been done. The nucleotide and ammo acid sequence homology of GPV has a greater identity to the sequence of RPV than those of PAV and MAV. The GPV CP sequence shared 83.7% of nucleotide similarity and 77.5% of deduced amino add similarity, whereas that of the PAV and MAV shared 56.9%. 53.2% and 44.1%. 43.8% respectively. The China-UK Systems held during June 20-21 Biology Workshop 2005 was in the National Science Park of Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. It was organized by the Institute of Bioinformatics, Zhejiang University, and was initiated by Prof. Dr. Jun Zhu (Zhejiang University) and Prof. Dr. John Findlay (University of Leeds, UK). The workshop was part of the program called UK-China Partners in Science, a one-year campaign that was initiated by the British government to explore more collaborations between UK and China on science and technology. It was attended also by a representative of this program, Mr. Frank Yuan, senior science & innovation officer. The idea of the workshop was to bring together experts with specialists in systems biology in order to promote the "natural partnership" between scientists from the two countries. The most important items of systcms biology considered at the workshop were: (1) New technologies and advances in systems biology; (2) Research developments in genomics and proteomics; (3) New methodologies and software in computational biology; (4) Research collaboration on systems biology between China and UK.  相似文献

The recombinant baculovirus expressing S1 glycoprotein of nephropathogenic strain JS/95/03 of infectious bronchitis virus was generated by using the Bac-to-Bac baculovirus expression system.The BamH I-Sal Ⅰ fragment containing S1 gene from the recombinant plasmid pMDJS9503S1 was purified and cloned in frame into the baculovirus transposing vector pFASTBAC HTa under the polyhedrin gene promoter.The recombinant transposing plasmid pFASTJS9503S1 was screened and then transformed into Escherichia coli DH10BAC.The resulting recombinant bacmid rBacmidJS9503S1 was transfected into cells of the insect Spodoptera frugiperda(Sf9)and the recombinant baculoviruse rAcJS9503S1 was obtained.The lysates of cells infected with rAcJS9503S1 were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and the expressed product of S1 gene was detected by Western bloting and immunofluorescence assay(IFA).The results showed the recombinant baculovirus was fully capable of expressing S1 glycoprotein of JS/95/03.Maybe owing to the incomplete glycosylation in insect cells,the S1 gene product had a Mr of only 61000.In immunofluorescence test and Western blotting,the expressed product could react with polycolonal antibody against IBV M41 strain,indicating it possessed the antigenic properties specific for native S1 glycoprotein.  相似文献

A colorimetic method is outlined for the determination of the chloride ion in biological samples (blood serum, plasma, and urine). The present method is based on the quantitative reduction of free mercuric ions by chloride ions. Chloride ions form an indissociable complex with mercuric ions. The remaining free mercuric ions form a purple complex with diphenylcarbazone with an absorption maximum at 550 nm. The reduction of color intensity at 550 nm is directly proportional to chloride concentration in the sample. The linear concentration range in the final reaction mixture was 0–100 μM with a correlation coefficient of −0.9997. The coefficient of variation for the 50 μM chloride ion in the final reaction mixture was 0.9% (n=6). The analyzed value of chloride concentration in the human control serum Accutrol™ Normal (Sigma) was 101±4 mM (mean±SD, n=12). The certified value of chloride in Accutrol Normal by Sigma is 102 mM, with a mean in the range 91–113 mM. This method was applied to the measurement of urinary chloride excretion in experimental rats. During 16-h urine collection, no food was given and rats had free access to purified water. The urinary excretion rate of chloride was 23.6±9.3 μmol/h (mean±SD, n=8) and 126.2±28.0 μmol/h (n=8) for rats fed a normal diet (2.6 g NaCl/kg diet) and a high-salt diet (82.6 g NaCl/kg diet) for 70 d prior to urine collection, respectively. This method is appropriate for low concentrations of chloride in samples or when sample volume is limiting, as in many animal studies such as metabolic urine collection from rats. The material dealt with in this paper was collected in 1955 by Mr.L.H.Wong and others of 241.Party of the Geological Bureau of North China,Ministry of Geology,at a locality about 20 km north-east of Beiyin Obo,InnerMongolia.According to the collectors'field observation,all the corals occur ina limestone imbedded in a red sandstone series,striking east to west and dip-ping to north.The thickness of the red sandstone series is unknown,it is over-lain by the Upper Carboniferous Triticites bed.The coral-horizon is estimatedat about 2,500 meters below the Triticites bed.No detailed stratigraphical dataare available.The corals described here comprise the following species:  相似文献
