The influence of the arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungus, Glomus mosseae, on characteristics of growth, photosynthetic pigments, osmotic adjustment, membrane lipid peroxidation and activity of antioxidant enzymes in leaves of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum cv Zhongzha105) plants was studied in pot culture under low temperature stress. The tomato plants were placed in a sand and soil mixture at 25°C for 6 weeks, and then subjected to 8°C for 1 week. AM symbiosis decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) content in leaves. The contents of photosynthetic pigments, sugars and soluble protein in leaves were higher, but leaf proline content was lower in mycorrhizal than non-mycorrhizal plants. AM colonization increased the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD), and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) in leaves. The results indicate that the AM fungus is capable of alleviating the damage caused by low temperature stress on tomato plants by reducing membrane lipid peroxidation and increasing the photosynthetic pigments, accumulation of osmotic adjustment compounds, and antioxidant enzyme activity. Consequently, arbuscular mycorrhiza formation highly enhanced the cold tolerance of tomato plant, which increased host biomass and promoted plant growth.  相似文献

Plant growth is reduced under saline conditions even when turgor in mature leaves is maintained by osmotic adjustment. The objective of this study was to determine if young leaves from salt-affected plants were also osmotically adjusted. Pepper plants (Capsicum annuum L. cv. California Wonder) were grown in several levels of solution osmotic potential and various components of the plants' water relations were measured to determine if young, rapidly growing leaves could accumulate solutes rapidly enough to maintain turgor for normal cell enlargement. Psychrometric measurements indicated that osmotic adjustment is similar for both young and mature leaves although osmotic potential is slightly lower for young leaves. Total water potential is also lower for young leaves, particularly at dawn for the saline treatments. The result is reduced turgor under saline conditions at dawn for young but not mature leaves. This reduced turgor at dawn, and presumably low night value, is possibly a cause of reduced growth under saline conditions. No differences in leaf turgor occur at midday. Porometer measurements indicated that young leaves at a given salinity level have a higher stomatal conductance than mature leaves, regardless of the time of day. The result of stomatal closure is a linear reduction of transpiration.  相似文献

The use of in vitro shoot cultures to evaluate osmotic and salt tolerance and the effects of salt and mannitol in the medium on proline and sugar accumulation were investigated in two poplar species, P. euphratica and P. alba cv. Pyramidalis × P. tomentosa. Shoot length, leaf number, whole plant dry weight, and the accumulation of proline and total soluble sugars in leaves were quantified after 2 weeks. All P. euphratica plantlets survived at all levels of mannitol and NaCl, while the mortality of P. alba cv. Pyramidalis × P. tomentosa increased both at the mannitol and the NaCl treatments. A significant increase in proline accumulation was observed in both young and mature P. euphratica leaves at 200 mM mannitol and above, and at 150 mM NaCl and above. The total soluble sugar content increased in young P. euphratica leaves at 250 mM NaCl; however, it decreased in the mature leaves. Similar increases of the total soluble sugar content were not seen in P. alba cv. Pyramidalis × P. tomentosa plants in response to either mannitol or NaCl treatment. Our results suggest that accumulated proline and sugars promote osmotic and salt tolerance. The effects of accumulated proline and total soluble sugars on leaves are discussed in relation to growth and osmotic adjustment. One strategy to increase the level of drought and salinity tolerance is the transfer of genes codifying different types of proteins functionally related to macromolecules protection, such as group 2 of late embryogenesis abundant (LEA) proteins or dehydrins. The TAS14 dehydrin was isolated and characterized in tomato and its expression was induced by osmotic stress (NaCl and mannitol) and abscisic acid (ABA) [Godoy et al., Plant Mol Biol 1994;26:1921-1934], yet its function in drought and salinity tolerance of tomato remains elusive. In this study, transgenic tomato plants overexpressing tas14 gene under the control of the 35SCaMV promoter were generated to assess the function of tas14 gene in drought and salinity tolerance. The plants overexpressing tas14 gene achieved improved long-term drought and salinity tolerance without affecting plant growth under non-stress conditions. A mechanism of osmotic stress tolerance via osmotic potential reduction and solutes accumulation, such as sugars and K(+) is operating in tas14 overexpressing plants in drought conditions. A similar mechanism of osmotic stress tolerance was observed under salinity. Moreover, the overexpression of tas14 gene increased Na(+) accumulation only in adult leaves, whereas in young leaves, the accumulated solutes were K(+) and sugars, suggesting that plants overexpressing tas14 gene are able to distribute the Na(+) accumulation between young and adult leaves over a prolonged period in stressful conditions. Measurement of ABA showed that the action mechanism of tas14 gene is associated with an earlier and greater accumulation of ABA in leaves during short-term periods. A good feature for the application of this gene in improving drought and salt stress tolerance is the fact that its constitutive expression does not affect plant growth under non-stress conditions, and tolerance induced by overexpression of tas14 gene was observed at the different stress degrees applied to the long term.  相似文献

The chenopod Beta macrocarpa Guss (wild Swiss chard) is known for its salt tolerance, but the mechanisms involved are still debated. In order to elucidate the processes involved, we grew wild Swiss chard exposed to three salinity levels (0, 100 and 200 mm NaCl) for 45 days, and determined several physiological parameters at the end of this time. All plants survived despite reductions in growth, photosynthesis and stomatal conductance in plants exposed to salinity (100 and 200 mm NaCl). As expected, the negative effects of salinity were more pronounced at 200 mm than at 100 mm NaCl: (i) leaf apoplastic water content was maintained or increased despite a significant reduction in leaf water potential, revealing the halophytic character of B. macrocarpa; (ii) osmotic adjustment occurred, which presumably enhanced the driving force for water extraction from soil, and avoided toxic build up of Na+ and Cl in the mesophyll apoplast of leaves. Osmotic adjustment mainly occurred through accumulation of inorganic ions and to a lesser extent soluble sugars; proline was not implicated in osmotic adjustment. Overall, two important mechanisms of salt tolerance in B. macrocarpa were identified: osmotic and apoplastic water adjustment.  相似文献

Responses of Puccinellia distans, a halophytic grass to low (50 mM) and high (200 mM) NaCl salinity, were studied in a sand culture experiment without or with inoculation by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus (AMF), Claroideoglomus etunicatum isolated from its saline habitat. Plant biomass was not influenced by salinity levels, while a tendency to a higher biomass was observed in AMF plants under both control and saline conditions. Leaf photosynthesis increased by both salinity and AMF inoculation. Despite higher transpiration rate, AMF plants had higher water-use efficiency under sever saline conditions. AMF inoculation decreased proline concentration, but increased significantly leaf osmotic potential. Antioxidative enzymes responded differently to the salt and AMF treatments depending on the salt concentration and plant organ. Nonetheless, salt-induced malondialdehyde accumulation in the leaves diminished by AMF colonization. K and Ca contents were not affected by salt, while fungal colonization increased K in the roots and Ca in both leaves and roots. Our results indicated that enhancement of photosynthesis and ion homeostasis is involved in the tolerance of P. distans to both low and high salinity. AMF inoculation increased plants’ tolerance by augmentation of the above mechanisms accompanied by improvement of water relations and protection against oxidative damage in the leaves.  相似文献

The ability of exogenous compatible solutes, such as proline, to counteract salt inhibitory effects was investigated in 2-year-old olive trees (Olea europaea L. cv. Chemlali) subjected to different saline water irrigation levels supplied or not with exogenous proline. Leaf water relations [relative water content (RWC), water potential], photosynthetic activity, leaf chlorophyll content, and starch contents were measured in young and old leaves. Salt ions (Na+, K+, and Ca2+), proline and soluble sugars contents were determined in leaf and root tissues. Supplementary proline significantly mitigated the adverse effects of salinity via the improvement of photosynthetic activity (Pn), RWC, chlorophyll and carotenoid, and starch contents. Pn of young leaves in the presence of 25 mM proline was at 1.18 and 1.38 times higher than the values recorded under moderate (SS1) and high salinity (SS2) treatments, respectively. Further, the proline supply seems to have a more important relaxing effect on the photosynthetic chain in young than in old leaves of salt-stressed olive plants. The differential pattern of proline content between young and old leaves suggests that there would be a difference between these tissues in distinguishing between the proline taken from the growing media and that produced as a result of salinity stress. Besides, the large reduction in Na+ accumulation in leaves and roots in the presence of proline could be due to its interference in osmotic adjustment process and/or its dilution by proline supply. Moreover, the lower accumulation of Na+ in proline-treated plants, compared to their corresponding salinity treatment, displayed the improved effect of proline on the ability of roots to exclude the salt ions from the xylem sap flowing to the shoot, and thus better growth rates.  相似文献

One of the factors that may complicate biological control of the greenhouse whitefly on Gerbera jamesonii by Encarsia formosa is the rosette shape of this ornamental, which differs from the vertical shape of most vegetable plants (cucumber, egg plant, tomato, etc.). Therefore, host-habitat location and the behaviour prior to landing on uninfested and infested leaves was studied. Attraction of E. formosa from a short distance by infested leaves could not be detected: the parasitoid females landed at random on uninfested and infested leaves. After the first landing, a redistribution of the wasps occurred on the leaves. After 24 h three times as many wasps were found on the infested leaves than on uninfested ones. In a dispersal experiment with four plants, E. formosa appeared to have no preference for landing on leaves of the medium age class, which is the age class on which most of the whiteflies in a suitable stage for parasitism occur. Twenty percent of the parasitoids were found on the plants 20 min after releasing them. These results were independent of the plant cultivar and the host density on the plants. In the course of 8 h, the number of E. formosa females recovered from plants increased linearly, and this increase was greater on plants where hosts were present and also greater on the plant cultivar with the lowest trichome density. After 24 h, the percentage of females was highest (56%) on plants with the highest host density. E. formosa females were arrested on leaves where hosts were present. Contrary to our expectation, the results from the two G. jamesonii cultivars that differed strongly in leaf hairiness were not significantly different in most experiments. Only at the high host density was parasitism found to be lower on the cultivar with the higher hair density. Parasitoids may walk on top of the `hair coverlet' of cultivars with high trichome density and, therefore, be hampered less than expected.  相似文献

Organs or plants grown in vitro do not always exhibit the same responses to salinity as the whole plant of same species grown ex vitro. The response to salinity (100 mM NaCl) of seedlings of the wild tomato species Lycopersicon pennellii acc. Atico (Lpa) and of the cultivated tomato L. esculentum cv. M82 (Lem), the former is known as salt tolerant and the second as relatively salt sensitive under ex vitro conditions, was compared under in vitro conditions with three different ventilation regimes. It was found that under salinity shoots of the wild species accumulated the same or even more dry biomass than the control (roots somewhat less) under all ventilation levels. Growth of shoots and roots of the cultivated species was inhibited under the same conditions especially under the high ventilation. Ventilation reduced some abnormalities of leaf development related to hyperhydricity and consequently ventilated leaves exhibited a more compounded structure, increased area, increased resistance to water loss and stomata functioning. Ventilation increased K+, Na+ and Cl accumulation in shoots of both tomato species. This was more pronounced under salinity and in Lpa. This work indicates that differences that characterize whole plants of these species in response to salinity under ex vitro conditions are exhibited also in whole plants grown in vitro under high ventilation. It is suggested that ventilation is needed to evaluate well the response of whole plants to salt stress applied in vitro.  相似文献

Salinization is one of the most important causes of crop productivity reduction in many areas of the world. Mechanisms that control leaf growth and shoot development under the osmotic phase of salinity are still obscure, and opinions differ regarding the Abscisic acid (ABA) role in regulation of biomass allocation under salt stress. ABA concentration in roots and leaves was analyzed in a genotype of processing tomato under two increasing levels of salinity stress for five weeks: 100 mM NaCl (S10) and 150 mM NaCl (S15), to study the effect of ABA changes on leaf gas exchange and dry matter partitioning of this crop under salinity conditions. In S15, salinization decreased dry matter by 78% and induced significant increases of Na+ and Cl in both leaves and roots. Dry matter allocated in different parts of plant was significantly different in salt-stressed treatments, as salinization increased root/shoot ratio 2-fold in S15 and 3-fold in S15 compared to the control. Total leaf water potential (Ψw) decreased from an average value of approximately −1.0 MPa, measured on control plants and S10, to −1.17 MPa in S15. In S15, photosynthesis was reduced by 23% and stomatal conductance decreased by 61%. Moreover, salinity induced ABA accumulation both in tomato leaves and roots of the more stressed treatment (S15), where ABA level was higher in roots than in leaves (550 and 312 ng g−1 fresh weight, respectively). Our results suggest that the dynamics of ABA and ion accumulation in tomato leaves significantly affected both growth and gas exchange-related parameters in tomato. In particular, ABA appeared to be involved in the tomato salinity response and could play an important role in dry matter partitioning between roots and shoots of tomato plants subjected to salt stress.  相似文献

Though halophytes are naturally adapted to salinity, their salt-tolerance limits are greatly influenced by their provenance and developmental stage. In the present study, physio-biochemical responses of two Tunisian ecotypes of the oilseed coastal halophyte Cakile maritima (Brassicaceae) to salinity (0–400 mM NaCl) were monitored during germination and vegetative growth stages. Tabarka and Jerba seeds were collected from humid or arid climatic areas, respectively. Plant response to salinity appeared to depend on the ecotype and salinity levels. Increasing salinity inhibited germination process. Jerba seeds were found to be more salt tolerant than the Tabarka ones. At the autotrophic stage of growth and under salt-free conditions, Jerba was less productive than Tabarka (in terms of dry matter accumulation), but plant biomass production and leaf expansion (area and number) of the former ecotype were progressively improved by 100 mM NaCl, as compared to the control. In contrast, at the same salt concentration, these parameters decreased under increasing salinity in Tabarka (salt sensitive). Leaf chlorophyll content was reduced at severe salinity, but this effect was more conspicuous in the sensitive Tabarka plants. Na+ contents in the Jerba and Tabarka leaves collected from the 400 mM NaCl-treated plants were 17- and 12-fold higher than in the respective controls. This effect was accompanied by a significant reduction in the leaf K+, Mg2+ and Ca2+ contents, especially in the salt-treated Tabarka. A significant accumulation of proline and soluble carbohydrates in leaves was found during the period of intensive leaf growth. These organic compounds likely play a role in leaf osmotic adjustment and in protection of membrane stability at severe salinity.  相似文献

We studied the induced response of tomato plants to the green strain and the red strain of the spider mite Tetranychus urticae. We focused on the olfactory response of the predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis to volatiles from T. urticae-infested tomato leaves in a Y-tube olfactometer. Tomato leaves attracted the predatory mites when slightly infested with the red strain, or moderately or heavily infested with the green strain. In contrast, neither leaves that were slightly infested with green-strain mites, nor leaves that were moderately or heavily infested with the red strain attracted the predators. We discuss the specific defensive responses of tomato plants to each of the two strains.  相似文献

The salt tolerance of the commercial F1 tomato hybrid (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) Radja (GC-793) has been agronomically and physiologically evaluated under greenhouse conditions, using a control (nutrient solution), a moderate (70 mM NaCl added to the nutrient solution) and a high salt level (140 mM NaCl), applied for 130 days. The results show that Radja is a Na+-excluder genotype, tolerant to moderate salinity. Fruit yield was reduced by 16% and 60% and the shoot biomass by 30% and more than 75% under moderate and high salinities, respectively. At 90 days of salt treatment (DST), the mature leaves feeding the 4th truss at fruiting accumulated little Na+ (178 mmol kg-1 DW). At this time, the sucrose concentration in these leaves even increased with moderate salinity and the amino acid proline was not accumulated under salt conditions as compared to control. At 130 DST, Na+ was accumulated mainly by the roots in proportion to the salt level applied, while in leaves appreciable amounts were found only at high salinity (452 mmol kg-1 DW). In the leaves, Cl- was always accumulated in proportion to the salt level and in a very much greater amounts than Na+ (until 1640 mmol kg-1 DW). The sucrose content was reduced in all plants by salinity, and was distributed preferentially toward the distal stem and peduncle of a truss at fruiting under moderate salinity, and toward the basal stem and root at high salinity. Moreover, proline was accumulated in different organs of the plant only at high salinity, coinciding with Na+ accumulation in leaves. Attempts are made to find a clear relationship between physiological behaviour triggered by stress and the agronomical behaviour, in order to assess the validity of physiological traits used for salt-tolerance selection and breeding in tomato.  相似文献

In this study, adaptive features of Spinacia oleracea to different levels of salinity, its use in desalination and production of 20-Hydroxyecdysone were studied. Plants showed survival up to EC 12 dS/m with reduced growth as compared with control. Net photosynthesis rate, transpiration, stomatal conductance, and water use efficiency of salt treated plants declines with increasing salinity stress. Higher antioxidant enzyme activities and compatible solutes accumulation were observed in salt treated plants as function of osmotic adjustment. Significant Na+ sequestration and Na/K ratio were noted with increase in salt stress in comparison to the control. Since the plant accumulates a bioactive, secondary metabolite 20-Hydroxyecdysone (20E), we observed significant 20E content in plants grown at EC 4–12 dS/m in comparison to control. Furthermore, a preliminary field experiment, showed significant reduction in the soil electrical conductivity by 1.8 ds/m after 90 days of plant growth with Na+ sequestration in plant biomass. Subsequent to this growth period, the phytodesalinized soil supported the significant growth of a glycophyte (rice). Our results suggest that S. oleracea can adapt to saline conditions with antioxidant defense and osmotic adjustment. The plant can be used as a potential candidate for desalination and also for enhanced production of 20-Hydroxyecdysone.  相似文献

Salt stress may impose osmotic and respiratory costs on nonhalophytes that limit the availability of carbohydrates for growth. This was examined in kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) by the analysis of soluble carbohydrates, starch, and respiration rates in mature and expanding leaves from plants exposed to moderate salt stress. Plants were grown for 35 days in solution culture at 1, 37, and 75 mM NaCl under greenhouse conditions. Total carbohydrates increased in mature and expanding leaves with increasing salinity. The majority of this increase was as starch. Mature leaf respiration also increased under salt stress. The net accumulation of non-osmotically active carbohydrates in expanding leaves suggests that growth was not limited by the generation or availability of carbohydrates but rather by the ability of the plant to effectively utilize this substrate in osmotic adjustment and growth.  相似文献

1. Belowground herbivory has recently been shown to disrupt the host location behaviour of aboveground parasitoids and thereby impact plants indirect defences. Reverse interactions, on the other hand, have received little attention so far. 2. Lab and field studies were conducted to examine whether the presence of the leaf herbivore Pieris brassicae Linnaeus on brassicaceous plants influences the response of Trybliographa rapae Westwood, a specialist parasitoid of the root feeder Delia radicum Linnaeus. 3. The present results show that the attraction of the parasitoid towards host‐infested plants disappeared when these plants were also infested by P. brassicae. This absence of attraction was observed both when the complete odour blend or only undamaged leaves from damaged plants were offered, emphasising the role of systemically induced volatiles for host location in T. rapae. 4. Furthermore, the field study revealed that parasitism levels dropped from 30% on root‐infested plants to 4% on double‐infested plants. 5. The present study is the first to confirm that reduced attraction to host‐infested plants as a result of simultaneous attack by below‐ and aboveground herbivores translates into lower levels of parasitism in the field.  相似文献

Abstract

Pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) is a salt tolerant species that is considered an alternative crop for cultivation in salinzied orchard soils. In this work, 12-week-old pistachio seedlings cultivated in soil under greenhouse conditions were treated with five levels of salinity including control (0.63 dSm?1), low (2 and 4 dSm?1) and high (8 and 10 dSm?1) salt concentrations for further 12 weeks. Plant growth parameters were not affected by mild salinity; a significant reduction was only observed from 8 dSm?1. Considerable differences were observed between the young and mature leaves regarding osmotic and ionic stress effects of salt. Main compatible solutes were proline in mature leaves, proline and soluble sugars in young leaves, and soluble sugars and amino acids, other than proline, in roots. Concentration and content of Na in the leaves were not significantly increased at low levels of salinity and the K:Na and Ca:Na ratio of leaves were affected only by higher salt concentrations. Using the sequential extraction procedure for cell wall isolation, we observed that both absolute and relative amounts of Na in the cell wall fraction increased under low salinity, while decreased under higher levels of salt supply. Stable water relations, photochemistry and CO2 assimilation rates particularly of young leaves, as well as ion homeostasis were mechanisms for maintenance of plants growth under mild salinity. Under severe saline conditions, the impaired ability of mature leaves for synthesis of assimilates, preferent allocation of carbohydrates to roots for maintenance of osmotic homeostasis and finally, reduction of protein synthesis caused growth inhibition in pistachio.  相似文献

Young plants of Lotus creticus creticus growing in a hydroponic culture were submitted to 0, 70 and 140 mM NaCl treatments for 28 d and the growth and ecophysiological characteristics of these plants have been studied. The growth of Lotus plants was not affected by salinity when applied for a short period (about 15 d); however, 140 mM NaCl induced a decrease in shoot RGR at the end of the treatment. The root growth was not decreased, even it was stimulated by 140 mM NaCl. The osmotic adjustment of Lotus plants at 70 and 140 mM NaCl maintained constant pressure potential, avoiding the visual wilting. For a similar leaf water potential, cuticular transpiration of salinized plants was lower than in control plants due to the salinity effect on the cuticle. Moreover, the presence of hairy leaves (60 and 160 trichomes per mm2 in young and adult leaves, respectively) allows keeping almost 81 % of sprayed water and absorbing the 9 % of the water retained, decreased the epidermal conductance to water vapour diffusion.  相似文献

To determine the effects of vermicompost leachate (VCL) on resistance to salt stress in plants, young tomato seedlings (Solanum lycopersicum, cv. Ailsa Craig) were exposed to salinity (150 mM NaCl addition to nutrient solution) for 7 days after or during 6 mL L??1 VCL application. Salt stress significantly decreased leaf fresh and dry weights, reduced leaf water content, significantly increased root and leaf Na+ concentrations, and decreased K+ concentrations. Salt stress decreased stomatal conductance (gs), net photosynthesis (A), instantaneous transpiration (E), maximal efficiency of PSII photochemistry in the dark-adapted state (Fv/Fm), photochemical quenching (qP), and actual PSII photochemical efficiency (ΦPSII). VCL applied during salt stress increased leaf fresh weight and gs, but did not reduce leaf osmotic potential, despite increased proline content in salt-treated plants. VCL reduced Na+ concentrations in leaves (by 21.4%), but increased them in roots (by 16.9%). VCL pre-treatment followed by salt stress was more efficient than VCL concomitant to salt stress, since VCL pre-treatment provided the greatest osmotic adjustment recorded, with maintenance of net photosynthesis and K+/Na+ ratios following salt stress. VCL pre-treatment also led to the highest proline content in leaves (50 µmol g??1 FW) and the highest sugar content in roots (9.2 µmol g??1 FW). Fluorescence-related parameters confirmed that VCL pre-treatment of salt-stressed plants showed higher PSII stability and efficiency compared to plants under concomitant VCL and salt stress. Therefore, VCL represents an efficient protective agent for improvement of salt-stress resistance in tomato.  相似文献

The salinity stress is one of the most relevant abiotic stresses that affects the agricultural production. The present study was performed to study the improvement of the salt tolerance of tomato plants which is known for their susceptibility to salt stress. The present study aimed to assess to what extent strain Azospirillum brasilense (N040) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae improve the salt tolerance to tomato plants treated with different salt concentration. The inoculant strain A. brasilense (N040) was previously adapted to survive up to 7% NaCl in the basal media. A greenhouse experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of this inoculation on growth parameter such as: plant height, root length, fresh and dry weight, fruits fresh weight, chlorophyll content, proline and total soluble sugar in tomato plants under salt stress condition. The results revealed that co-inoculation of Azospirillum brasilense (N040) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae significantly increased the level of proline (8.63 mg/g FW) and total soluble sugar (120 mg/g FW) of leaves under salinity condition comparing to non-inoculated plants (2.3 mg/g FW and 70 mg/g FW, respectively). Plants co-inoculated with adapted strain of A. brasilense and S. cerevisiae showed the highest significant (p < 0.01) increase in fruit yield (1166.6 g/plant), plant high (115 cm) and roots length (52.6) compared whit un-inoculated control plants (42 g/pant, 43.3 cm and 29.6 cm, respectively). In contrast, Na+ ion content was significantly decreased in the leaves of salt stressed plants treated with the A. brasilense (N040) and S. cerevisiae. Finally, the results showed that dual benefits provided by both A. brasilense (N040) and S. cerevisiae can provide a major way to improve tomato yields in saline soils.  相似文献
