Abstract Effects of hexaflumuron at 10% lethal concentration (LC10) and LC25 on development and reproduction parameters of the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (Linnaeus, 1753) (Lep.: Yponomeutidae) were investigated. Estimated LC50, LC10 and LC25 values of leaf dip bioassay of hexaflumuron on the third instar larvae of the P. xylostella were 1.48, 0.59 and 0.91 mg/L, respectively. Hexaflumuron decreased pupal weight in the parent generation at sublethal concentrations but in the offspring generation, this effect was not observed. Sublethal concentrations increased egg, first and second larval instar and pupa developmental time and shortened life span of adults, but did not change the third and fourth larval instars and pre‐pupa developmental period. Also fecundity of females reduced significantly but hatchability of treatments and control were similar. Survival rate of pre‐adult stages declined significantly at LC25 concentration. Reproduction parameters such as reproductive rate (R0) and intrinsic rate of increase in sublethal concentrations were significantly lower compared with control, but gross reproduction rate (GRR) at the LC10 concentration was increased and it could be hormoligosis. Also hexaflumuron significantly increased doubling time (Dt). We conclude that the sublethal effects of hexaflumuron might exhibit significant effects on the population dynamics of P. xylostella.  相似文献

为了探讨氯虫苯甲酰胺对亚洲玉米螟Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée)的抗性风险评估, 为科学使用氯虫苯甲酰胺防治亚洲玉米螟提供理论基础, 本研究在实验室条件下采用饲料混毒法测定了新型杀虫剂氯虫苯甲酰胺对亚洲玉米螟的毒力, 利用生命表技术研究了氯虫苯甲酰胺对亚洲玉米螟 3龄幼虫的亚致死效应。结果表明: 氯虫苯甲酰胺对亚洲玉米螟3龄幼虫的LC10, LC40 和LC50分别为0.038, 0.098 和0.123 mg a. i. /L。以氯虫苯甲酰胺LC10和LC40剂量分别处理亚州玉米螟3龄幼虫后, 幼虫和蛹的发育历期明显延长, 成虫寿命缩短, 产卵量也显著降低, 但对蛹重(雌: P=0.337, 雄: P=0.121)、卵孵化率(P=0.087)和性比(P=0.379)无显著影响。处理种群的净增值率(R0)、内禀增长率(rm)和周限增长率(λ)显著低于对照种群(P<0.0001)。结果提示, 氯虫苯甲酰胺的亚致死浓度可降低亚洲玉米螟的种群增长。  相似文献

The cotton bollworm Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) is the most destructive pest of cotton, tomato and chickpea in Iran. In this study, the lethal and sublethal effects of thiacloprid were evaluated against cotton bollworm under laboratory condition at 26?±?1?°C, 70?±?5% RH and a photoperiod of 16:8 (L:D). Bioassay experiments were conducted on first larval instars by mixing the insecticide dilutions with artificial diet. The LC50 value of thiacloprid was 329?mg a.i./l. Sublethal effects of LC30 concentration of thiacloprid was studied on biological parameters. In the study of sublethal effects, thiacloprid at LC30 concentration significantly increased larval and pupal developmental times and reduced adults longevity compared with control but showed no significant effects on fecundity of cotton bollworm. Sublethal effects of thiacloprid also significantly reduced pupal weight compared with control. In general, sublethal effects studies showed that thiacloprid had adverse effects on biological parameters of the pest. Thus, our data suggest that thiacloprid had moderate potential against cotton bollworm.  相似文献

The diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.) is a major pest of crucifers in Iran. In this study, the influence of two sublethal concentrations (LC10 and LC25) of an insect growth regulator, hexaflumuron on life expectancy (e x ), stable age distribution (C x ), age-specific fertility (m x ) and number of fertile eggs per day was investigated. Results showed that the sublethal doses of hexaflumuron decreased life expectancy (e x ), age-specific fertility (m x ) and number of fertile eggs per day of P. xylostella. Also stable age distribution (C x ) of population in next generation was changed and rate of adults in sublethals was increased compared to control. According obtained results, hexaflumuron is a good choice for IPM strategy in controlling the diamondback moth.  相似文献

Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae) is a key pest in cotton crops, notably owing to its increasing resistance to commonly used pesticides. Such resistance prompts for the development of integrated pest management (IPM) programs that include novel pesticides being effective against the aphid. In the present study, we assessed lethal and sublethal effects of cycloxaprid, a novel chiral neonicotinoid pesticide developed in China, on A. gossypii. The lethal concentration at 50% (LC50) value of cycloxaprid on A. gossypii was estimated, using the dipping method, at 7.73 mg/L. The impact of a sublethal concentration (LC10) and a lethal concentration (LC40) of cycloxaprid on A. gossypii population growth and feeding behavior (using electrical penetration graph technique [EPG]), and its transgenerational effect were further assessed. Adult longevity and fecundity significantly decreased after exposure to LC40 or LC10 of cycloxaprid. Cycloxaprid with sublethal concentrations (especially LC40) had negative effects on phloem ingestion by A. gossypii. Additionally, the offspring of the adults exposed to LC40 of cycloxaprid had shorter nymphal development duration and adult longevity than the control, and those from LC10 and LC40 treatments had lower adult fecundity and net productive rate. We demonstrated that cycloxaprid is a pesticide showing both lethal and sublethal activities, and transgenerational effects on A. gossypii; it may be useful for implementation in IPM programs against this aphid pest.  相似文献

The effects of sublethal concentrations of indoxacarb on Plutella xylostella (L.) (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae) were examined. In comparison with the control, sublethal concentrations led to a significant decrease in adult emergence, the percentage of pupation and pupal weight of the parent generation, fecundity, and adult longevity. They also significantly decreased the net reproductive rate (R 0), intrinsic rate of increase (r m), finite rate of increase (λ), and gross reproduction rate (GRR), and had significantly increased egg developmental time and doubling time (Dt) of P. xylostella. However, sublethal concentrations of indoxacarb had no significant affect on adult emergence, percentage of pupation, larva, prepupa and pupa developmental periods, hatchability, and sex ratio of offspring. The results of this study indicated that sublethal concentrations can decrease the biological parameters of P. xylostella.  相似文献

Sublethal effects of Thymus vulgaris were investigated on life-table parameters of Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) in the laboratory conditions at 25?±?1?°C, 70?±?10% RH and a 14:10?h (L:D) photoperiod. Bioassay was conducted to assess the effect of different concentrations of T. vulgaris essential oil on two-spotted spider mite. LC50 and LC20 of T. vulgaris on T. urticae were calculated as 18.86 and 6.24?μl/litre air for 24?h after treatment. In the sublethal effects, after 24?h exposure to LC50 concentration, mortality, fecundity and longevity of the females that survived from treatment were determined. Results showed that T. vulgaris caused significant reductions in fecundity and longevity of adults. Life-table assay indicated that the intrinsic rate of increase (r m), net reproductive rate (R 0), finite rate of increase (λ), mean generation time (T), significantly reduced in treated females compared to control. These results suggest that T. vulgaris could be incorporated in integrated pest management programmes of T. urticae.  相似文献

To clarify the effects of sublethal concentration of insecticide on the growth, development and reproduction of Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) (Diptera: Tephritidae), the sublethal and transgenerational effects of the LC30 of six insecticides on adults and progeny (F1 and F2 generations) were studied using age-stage, two-sex life tables. Exposure to six insecticides had significant negative impacts on the life-history traits of B. dorsalis and led to reduced adult longevity and fecundity in F0, a longer larval stage duration in F1, and reduced fertility and survival. The intrinsic rate of increase (r), finite rate of increase (λ), and net reproductive rate (R0) were reduced in F1, with the greatest reduction observed in the chlorpyrifos treatment. In the F2 generation, the adverse effects were weakened, only the cyantraniliprole treatment had lower values than the control, and the fecundity of other treatments returned to normal. Obvious “hormesis” phenomena were not observed in any of the generations. Based on the population hazard index, chlorpyrifos had the best control effect in the early stage, and cyantraniliprole had the best control effect in the long term. These results indicate that the LC30 of the six insecticides exert different transgenerational effects on the B. dorsalis population.  相似文献

【目的】通过研究茚虫威和高效氯氰菊酯两种杀虫剂对小菜蛾Plutella xylostella (L.)的亚致死效应, 进一步了解农药的杀虫机制, 同时为合理使用农药、 减少农药给环境和农业生产带来的一系列不良影响提供理论依据。【方法】浸叶法测定茚虫威和高效氯氰菊酯对小菜蛾2龄幼虫的毒力; 选择茚虫威的3个实验浓度(TI-LC15, TI-LC30和TI-LC50)和高效氯氰菊酯的3个实验浓度(TB-LC15, TB-LC30和TB-LC50)分别处理小菜蛾2龄幼虫48 h, 记录各虫态存活率和发育历期, 3龄、 4龄幼虫及蛹的重量, 并记录单雌产卵量和成虫寿命; 应用特征年龄 龄期及两性生命表方法, 研究不同处理组小菜蛾后代的生长发育、 存活率以及种群增长。【结果】TI-LC30, TI-LC50, TB-LC15, TB-LC30和TB-LC50处理组各虫态发育历期比对照组显著延长(P<0.05), 3龄、 4龄幼虫和蛹的重量以及单雌产卵量均显著低于对照组(P<0.05), 但TI-LC15组小菜蛾3龄和4龄幼虫发育历期均显著低于对照组(P<0.05)。TI-LC30, TI-LC50, TB-LC30和TB LC50组小菜蛾后代的总产卵期显著短于相应对照组(P<0.05), 产卵量也都显著降低(P<0.05); TI和TB实验组小菜蛾后代种群内禀增长率rm、 周限增长率λ、 净生殖率R0以及总生殖率GRR都比对照显著降低(P<0.05)。【结论】低剂量的茚虫威和高效氯氰菊酯能显著抑制处理当代小菜蛾的生长发育和生殖, 并对其下一代的生长发育及种群增长也有明显的抑制。  相似文献

The lethal and sublethal effects of the insecticides chlorpyriphos and fenpropathrine, which are overused in tomato production, were evaluated on the larval, pupal and adult stages of the parasitoid Habrobracon hebetor in the laboratory. Dose-response bioassays were carried out on immature and adult stages by using dipping and contact residue methods, respectively. The LC50 of chlorpyriphos varied from 40 to 2000 times less than the recommended field rate and 10–100 times less for fenpropathrine treatments on the different life-history stages. To assess the sublethal effects, all life-history stages were exposed to LC25 equivalent concentration of each insecticide and the demographic parameters of surviving parasitoids were studied. In LC25 tests on adult stage, mean longevity and fecundity showed significant differences between chlorpyriphos (15.93?±?1.37 d and 128.20?±?20.20 eggs) and fenpropathrine (12.76?±?0.78 d and 124.00?±?12.27 eggs) as compared with the control (20.41?±?0.72 d and 281.00?±?12.95 eggs). In addition, net reproductive rate and intrinsic rate of increase indicated significant differences between chlorpyriphos (22.89?±?6.43 and 0.19?±?0.02) and fenpropathrine (14.44?±?3.58 and 0.17?±?0.02) as compared with the control (55.55?±?12.54 and 0.24?±?0.02). Briefly, we can conclude that both insecticides had negative effects on H. hebetor. However, the negative effect of fenpropathrine on rm was higher than that of chlorpyriphos. In conclusion, field studies are recommended to determine the total effects of these insecticides on H. hebetor.  相似文献

The diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella, is an important agricultural pest that severely damages cruciferous vegetables. Although previously considered a threat only to Brassica species, P. xylostella has been observed to feed on noncruciferous vegetables. Here, we established a population of P. xylostella on the pea Pisum sativum (PxP population). We compared this PxP population''s performance on the pea host plant to a population (PxR) reared on the original host plant radish (Raphanus sativus) for several generations using an age‐stage, two‐sex life table and analyzed the correlations between different fitness parameters. In the 1st generation of the PxP population, survival rate of immature stage was 17%, while the survival rate of PxR was 68%; the duration of the 4th larval instar (5.30 d) and mortality (25%) of this generation were significantly longer (2.8 d) and higher (1%) than that of PxR, respectively (both p < .001). Upon long‐term acclimation, the PxP fitness improved significantly, especially that the survival rate of immature stages increased to approximately 60% in the 15th, 30th, and 45th generations. However, PxP feeding on pea exhibited poorer fitness with longer larval developmental time, shorter total life span, lighter pupa, and lower fecundity in different generations compared with PxP feeding on radish. PxP feeding on pea also showed a significantly lower intrinsic rate of increase (r), net reproduction rate (R 0), finite increase rate (λ), and longer mean generation time (T) than PxP feeding on radish in all generations tested. Significant positive correlations were observed between pupal weight and female fecundity in pea‐fed populations, and between female longevity and female fecundity in pea‐fed and radish‐fed populations. Our findings suggest that P. xylostella adaptation to pea does not improve overall fitness compared with the original host radish, making pea a marginal host for P. xylostella.  相似文献

The cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae), is an important sap‐sucking pest of many plants, including melons and peppers. This study was conducted to determine the effects of sublethal exposure to flonicamid and imidacloprid and the mechanisms by which these insecticides affect the feeding behavior of A. gossypii. The median lethal concentrations (LC50) of flonicamid and imidacloprid for adult A. gossypii were 2.40 and 1.92 mg l?1, respectively. The lower lethal concentrations of flonicamid were 1.01 mg l?1 (LC30) and 0.29 mg l?1 (LC10), and those of imidacloprid were 0.82 mg l?1 (LC30) and 0.24 mg l?1 (LC10). The developmental period of A. gossypii nymphs at LC30 was 3.6 days for both insecticides, which was shorter than that of the untreated controls (4.2 days). Longevity and total fecundity of A. gossypii adults were decreased at the sublethal concentrations of both insecticides. The lowest net reproductive rate was observed in A. gossypii treated with the LC30 of flonicamid. Feeding behavior analyses using an electrical penetration graph showed that sublethal concentrations of flonicamid and imidacloprid had significant effects on the duration of phloem ingestion. Higher doses of flonicamid induced starvation by inhibiting phloem ingestion, whereas imidacloprid acted as a contact toxin rather than an inhibitor of feeding behavior.  相似文献

在实验室条件下通过药膜法研究了11种不同类型的杀虫剂对卷蛾分索赤眼蜂Trichogrammatoidea bactrae Nagaraja成蜂的毒性, 并研究了杀虫剂对其繁殖的亚致死效应, 旨在评估各药剂对卷蛾分索赤眼蜂成蜂的安全性, 为小菜蛾Plutella xylostella防治过程中杀虫剂的合理施用提供科学依据。研究结果表明, 卷蛾分索赤眼蜂成蜂对阿维菌素最敏感, 致死中浓度LC50和亚致死浓度LC30分别为0.1984和0.1660 mg/L, 其次为氟虫腈(0.2027和0.1903 mg/L)、溴虫腈(0.3069和0.2038 mg/L)、多杀霉素(1.3630和1.0481 mg/L)、杀螟丹(8.1042 和6.7891 mg/L)、高效氯氰菊酯(10.3647和5.8035 mg/L)和丁醚脲(11.5318 和9.9212 mg/L)。经亚致死浓度LC30的阿维菌素、溴虫腈、杀螟丹、丁醚脲、多杀霉素和氟虫腈处理后, 卷蛾分索赤眼蜂的寿命(1.00~1.67 d)显著缩短, 寄生卵量(0~21.70粒/雌)明显降低, 种群参数(净生殖力R0、内禀增长率rm、周限增长率λ和世代平均历期T)明显低于对照(P<0.05)。田间推荐浓度的茚虫威、氟啶脲、苏云金杆菌Bacillus thuringiensis、虫酰肼对卷蛾分索赤眼蜂寿命及产卵量均没有不利影响, 但能通过缩短其世代平均历期T, 从而使净生殖力R0、内禀增长率rm和周限增长率λ增加。而经亚致死浓度LC30的高效氯氰菊酯处理后, 卷蛾分索赤眼蜂的寿命(3.77 d)显著延长, 寄生卵量(55.47粒/雌)明显提高, 种群参数明显高于对照(P<0.05)。结果说明, 氟啶脲、茚虫威、苏云金杆菌和虫酰肼对卷蛾分索赤眼蜂较安全; 丁醚脲对卷蛾分索赤眼蜂成蜂的寄生能力影响极大, 在田间施用时应当尽量避开卷蛾分索赤眼蜂成蜂的盛发期。  相似文献

Exposing larvae of the spruce budworm, Choristoneura fumiferana (Clemens), to sublethal ( 50% lethal dose) levels of Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki at various stages of their development significantly increased development time to the pupal stage and reduced pupal size and number of eggs laid per female, but did not affect the proportion of embryonated eggs. The changes in larval development time, pupal weight and fecundity depended on the larval stage that was treated. Exposure of fourth instars delayed larval development and reduced only male pupal weights with no effects on fecundity. Exposure of sixth instars delayed larval development to a lesser extent than exposure of fourth instars but had a pronounced effect on weight of both male and female pupae. The effect on pupal weight was sex dependent, as males tended to be more affected than females. The reduction in male pupal weight did not appear to influence fecundity, because the effect of exposure was explained by the change in female pupal weight. Effects on larval growth and pupal weight were proportional to the dose that was ingested during exposure, and were observed at doses as low as one-tenth of the LD50. Ingestion of an LD50 caused a 29 or 45% delay in development of, respectively, female or male larvae when exposed as fourth instars and a 30% reduction in female pupal weight when larvae were exposed as sixth instars.  相似文献

Two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, is one of the most important pests of agricultural products that have a global distribution. Now, the control is dependent on the use of chemical pesticides. The effects of the sublethal concentrations (LC10 and LC25) of the essential oil of Cinnamomum zeylanicum were evaluated on some parameters of the life table of the pest, at the constant temperature of 30?°C, relative humidity of 40?±?5% and photoperiod of 16L: 8D. Our results showed that the essential oil of cinnamon is effective on female adult stage. Lethal concentration at which 50% mortality (LC50) for the essential oils is from C. zeylanicum on female adult mite was 23.39?μl/L air. Sublethal concentrations of the essential oil of C. zeylanicum also impair the natural biology of the mite. Concentrations of sublethal of essential oil decreased age-specific fertility (mx) of T. urticae compared with the control. Sublethal concentrations (LC10 and LC25) have reduced the life expectancy (ex) in egg stage. Sublethal effects of the essential oil of C. zeylanicum and its impact on T. urticae management are discussed.  相似文献

四纹豆象Callosobruchus maculatus (F.)是伊朗豇豆种子上的主要贮藏害虫。控制这一害虫时, 用生物杀虫剂比用常规杀虫剂更为合适。本研究评价了室内条件下在玻璃表面上硅藻土和多杀菌素对四纹豆象成虫的致死效应和亚致死效应。结果表明: 硅藻土处理24 h和48 h后, 对四纹豆象成虫的LC50 值分别为 1.47和0.2 g/m2; 多杀菌素处理24 h和48 h后, 对四纹豆象成虫的LC50 值分别为102.9 和68.8 mg ai/L, 说明两种化合物都对四纹豆象成虫具有较高的急性毒性。通过检测生物学参数, 研究了LC20浓度的硅藻土和多杀菌素对四纹豆象的亚致死效应。LC20浓度的硅藻土和多杀菌素使四纹豆象成虫的繁殖力分别比对照降低了71.5%和17.2%, 卵孵化率降低了57.5%和27.8%, 成虫寿命缩短了74.7%和17.1%。接触LC20浓度的硅藻土和多杀菌素使这一害虫的蛹期分别比对照延长了4.8%和2.3%。亚致死效应研究表明, 硅藻土和多杀菌素对四纹豆象的生命参数均产生了负面影响。总之, 致死效应和亚致死效应综合显示, 硅藻土在防治四纹豆象上具有较大的潜力。  相似文献

Exposure of Plodia interpunctella and Sitotroga cerealella to sublethal concentrations of Dipel 2X® (Bacillus thuringiensis var.kurstaki‐HD‐1)with its spores and endotoxin crystals led to an increase in the sum of larval‐pupal duration. A decrease in moth emergence, egg production and fertility was observed with increase of Dipel 2X concentration, while the longevity of the moths was not affected by treatment. Sublethal concentrations of β‐exotoxin (ABG‐6162 A) had no significant effect on the sum of larval—pupal duration of either insect species. Percentage of moth emergence decreased with the increase of β‐exotoxin concentrations. The longevity of both male and female adults of P. interpunctella and of females of S. cerealella were shorter at high concentrations. Egg production in P. interpunctella was reduced by all concentrations of the β‐exotoxin, and hatching of eggs was reduced by concentrations of 15 ppm and above.  相似文献

The cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae L. (Hemiptera: Aphididae) is a major pest of cabbage in the world. In this study, the influence of thiacloprid on population growth parameters of B. brassicae using demographic toxicology by leaf spray method was determined. The LC50 values and confidence limits for thiacloprid were 274.89?ppm (185.22–479.22), respectively. To evaluate the sublethal effect of this insecticide on population growth parameters of cabbage aphid, LC25 and LC10 concentrations of thiacloprid were used at 76.44 and 23.52?ppm, respectively. Also The LC50 value of this insecticide on the life table estimates was measured. Experiments were carried out in the laboratory at 23?±?1?°C, 60?±?5% RH and 16:8 (L:D) photoperiod on cabbage seedlings, Brassica oleracea, var. capitata L. Intrinsic rates of increase (rm) were lower in thiacloprid treatment than in controls. The mean generation time and doubling time were also lower in populations treated with insecticide than in controls. There was a considerable reduction in the average numbers of nymphs reproduced per female as compared with the control. The average longevity of female adults in the control was significantly different (p?<?0.05) from those treated with thiacloprid. 为正确评估防治水稻鳞翅目害虫的新型杀虫剂氯虫苯甲酰胺对非靶标害虫白背飞虱Sogatella furcifera (Horváth)的影响, 本文采取稻茎浸渍法测定了氯虫苯甲酰胺对白背飞虱的毒力, 利用生命表技术研究了氯虫苯甲酰胺对白背飞虱的亚致死效应。结果表明: 氯虫苯甲酰胺对白背飞虱3龄若虫和成虫的LC50分别为19.26 mg/L和19.69 mg/L。以氯虫苯甲酰胺LC10和LC25剂量分别处理白背飞虱3龄若虫后, F0和F1代雌虫产卵量及其寿命均降低, 尤其LC25处理与对照间存在显著差异(P<0.05), F0和F1代雌虫寿命分别缩短了1.80 d和2.62 d, F0和F1代雌虫产卵量分别减少了52.94粒和78.45粒。药剂处理对F1代各虫态发育历期也有一定影响。根据不同剂量处理后白背飞虱各发育阶段的存活率和成虫的繁殖力, 组建了生殖力生命表, 发现LC10和LC25剂量处理的种群内禀增长率rm分别降低了11.25%和34.41%, 净增殖率R0分别降低了36.56%和74.57%, 而世代平均历期T和种群加倍时间t均延长。结果说明, 氯虫苯甲酰胺LC10和LC25剂量可抑制白背飞虱种群的增长; 大田中使用氯虫苯甲酰胺防治鳞翅目害虫时, 可抑制同时发生的非靶标害虫白背飞虱田间种群增长。  相似文献

The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch is one of the most common pests of agricultural crops. The use of sublethal doses can reduce the need of pesticides and prevent pests’ resistance, which is an important step in integrated pest management and safely controlling this pest. The sublethal effects (LC5, LC15 and LC35) of spirodiclofen on demographic parameters of T. urticae based on the age-stage, two-sex life table theory were investigated under laboratory conditions [25?±?2?°C, 60?±?5% RH and 16:8 (L:D) h]. The longevity, total life span, oviposition period and total fecundity reduced after exposure to LC15 and LC35. Oviposition period ranged from 5.64 to 10.92?days. The gross reproduction rate (GRR), net reproductive rate (R0) and the finite rate of increase (λ) of the mites treated with LC15 and LC35 were inferior to the results when treated with LC5, and control. The values of intrinsic rate of increase (r) was 0.2209?day?1 in the control and this was reduced to 0.1714?day?1 in LC35. Based on these results, considering the negative impact of spirodiclofen on the population growth of T. urticae, this acaricide can be helpful to achieve an efficient control for T. urticae in frame of integrated pest management.  相似文献
