以黑麦草(Lolium perenne L)为实验材料,研究在不同氮素营养条件下内生真菌(Neotyphodium lolii)感染对其光合特性及生物量的影响.结果表明:1)整个实验中,内生真菌感染对黑麦草净光合速率、蒸腾速率以及水分利用效率均无显著影响,但在中氮和高氮水平时,感染种群的净同化累积值有超过非感染种群的趋势;2)在本实验的第一处理期和第二处理期,内生真菌感染对黑麦草绿色部分的干物质产量无显著影响,但在第三处理期感染种群的绿色部分的干物质产量显著高于非感染种群.  相似文献

Lockyer, D. R. 1985. The effect of sulphur dioxide on the growthof Lolium perenne L., Lolium multiflorum Lam., Dactylis glomerataL., and Phleum pratense L.?J. exp. Bot. 36: 1851-1859. Fouragriculturally important grasses, Lolium perenne L., Loliummultiflorum Lam., Dactylis glomerata L. and Phleum pratenseL. were exposed to sulphur dioxide (SO2) in a system of exposurechambers. The plants were exposed for a total of 43 d to meanconcentrations of SO2 in the air of 0,87 or 448 (µg m–3and herbage was harvested twice. All four grasses showed chloroticlesions after exposure to the highest concentration of SO2.The effect of SO2 on the yield of herbage was statisticallysignificant only at the second harvest and at the highest concentration;the dry weights of shoots of D. glomerata and L. perenne werereduced by 33% and 16% respectively. Significant effects ofSO2 were also found on the 'transpiration coefficients' measuredfor D. glomerata and P. pratense. The grasses differed in theiruptake of sulphur from the atmosphere but this was not relatedto their sensitivity to SO2. Total–S concentration inthe shoots of L. perenne, L. multiflorum and D. glomerata increasedalmost linearly in response to increasing SO2 concentration;with P. pratense only the highest SO2 concentration raised total-Sabove the level in control plants. 研究了不同氮素水平(12mmol/L,4mmol/L,0、4mmol/L)下生长的‘丰香’草莓在富C02(700μL/L)和大气CO(390μL/L)下的光合作用。结果表明,高氮(12mmol/L)下,在富CO2环境中生长的‘丰香’草莓叶片未出现光合作用下调,富CO2下草莓叶片的净光合速率、最大羧化速率(Vc.max)、最大电子传递速率(Jmax)、碳同化的电子传递速率(Jc)和光化学猝灭系数(qp)等均显著提高;而在中氮(4mmol/L)、低氮(0.4mmol/L)下,富CO2下生长的草莓叶片的上述参数均出现不同程度的下降。富CO2下,无论氮素水平如何,草莓叶片的光呼吸电子传递速率(Jo)均降低高氮草莓叶片的非光化学猝灭系数(qN或NPQ)降低,光抑制降低,而低氮则相反。上述结果说明,氮素供应不足时草莓叶片在富CO2下光合作用出现下调,因此生产上进行CO2施肥时应适度增加氮素的供应。  相似文献

Genotypes of Lolium perenne were grown in soil of low phosphorusstatus, with and without additional phosphorus. Lack of phosphorusresulted in a great reduction in the number of main roots andin an increase in the length of each individual root. The numberof tillers was also reduced, but to a lesser extent than thenumber of main roots. To clarify whether new vegetative tillers that develop aroundanthesis in aLolium perenne seed crop can depress seed yields,the possible competition for carbohydrates or nitrogen betweenthe seeds and new tillers that develop after the onset of anthesiswas investigated. In two greenhouse experiments the number oftillers per plant was varied by a combination of cutting, nitrogensupply, light quality and light intensity treatments. Two genotypeswith different tillering rates were used. Seed yield per earwas largely independent of the number of tillers and regrowthof cut tillers after the onset of anthesis. It increased inone genotype, but only under low light and a reduced nutrientavailability, and no new tillers were produced. The amount ofwater-soluble carbohydrates in the reproductive tillers increasedin both clones under these conditions. Under more favourableconditions the increased tillering rate and regrowth of tillersafter cutting did not adversely affect seed yield per ear ineither clone, although carbohydrate reserves in the floweringtillers were sharply reduced. Tiller removal increased the concentrationand amount of nitrogen in the remaining flowering tillers, irrespectiveof the amount of regrowth. It is concluded that competitionfor carbohydrates or nitrogen between the seeds and new vegetativetillers that develop after the onset of anthesis, is not a majorcause of the low and variable seed yields inL. perenne seedcrops. Ramets of Lolium perenne from the same genotypes were grownin nutrient solutions of two concentrations. Additional mineralnutrition increased the rate of production of new tillers, therate of increase in size of tillers and the rate of productionof new roots, but not the rate of growth of individual mainroots. The genotypes differed considerably from each other intheir rates of growth, especially of shoot growth. When thegrowth-rate of the same population of genotypes was alteredby changing the environmental conditions it was found that thelower the mean rate of shoot growth, the greater its coefficientof variation. Variation in the rate of shoot growth, due tomineral nutrition and genetic constitution of the plants growingin a dilute nutrient solution, was accompanied by a similarbut smaller variation in the number of roots.  相似文献

Nitrogen remobilization from roots and pseudostems during regrowthof Lolium perenne L. was studied in miniswards grown with contrastinglevels of (NH4)2SO4 in solution culture. Growth with a highN supply (5.0 mol m–3) increased theweight of leaf laminae recovered at each of five weekly clippings,and decreased the proportion of photosynthate used for rootgrowth. Clipped plants growing in a steady-state were suppliedwith 15N for 48 h and the recovery of labelled N in laminaemeasured after five weekly cuts. Recovery of labelled N in thelaminae from the second clipping onwards was derived only fromremobilization of N from roots and pseudostem. Miniswards grownwith low N (0.5 mol m–3) relied moreupon remobilization of N for lamina growth than did high N plants.Thus after 14 d 20% of lamina N was labelled in low N plantsbut only 3% was labelled in the high N treatment. Thereafter,N remobilization declined until at the final clipping after35 d, labelled N represented only 4% and 1 % of the lamina Nin the low and high N plants. When plants were not clipped beforethe labelling period, they took up more 15N if grown with highN than cut plants. Thereafter, the remobilization of N followeda similar pattern as in the cut plants. Exponential models were used to calculate the rate of N transferfrom roots and pseudostem to laminae. When grown with low N,the half-life of remobilization was 1.56 weeks. High N miniswardshad an initial rapid remobilization with a half-life of 0.66weeks, and a slower phase with a half-life of 2.98 weeks. The efficacy of six chemicals as selective male gametocideson perennial ryegrass plants was studied by making use of agenetic marker technique. In a preliminary screening experimenteach of the chemicals was used in five concentrations and infive treatments at several stages of development at or nearear emergence. Promising treatments from within this experimentwere assessed in more detail subsequently. In most treatmentsfemale fertility was impaired more than male fertility. In thetreatments in which the desired effect was found, i.e. malefertility was depressed appreciably more than female fertility,the differential gametocidal selectivity of the chemicals couldnot be considered distinct enough to merit application on afield scale.  相似文献

LOOS, B. P. & JARVIS, C. E., 1992. The typification of Lolium perenne and Lolium temulentum (Poaceae). The typification of the Linnaean species Lolium perenne and Lolium temulentum has been studied. Lolium perenne is typified by material in LINN, as proposed by Terrell, but it has been necessary to select a lectotype for L. temulentum , and material in the Burser herbarium (UPS) has been chosen for this purpose. The study shows that although Linnaeus used awns as a diagnostic character to distinguish the two species, he was aware of the intraspecific variability in this character.  相似文献

The effect of shading a single tiller to below its compensationpoint for a period of 5 weeks in vegetative plants of Loliumperenne L. cv. S23, was studied in two different experimentseach employing two light regimes, one of which was common toboth experiments. In the first experiment tillers in the axils of the first leafwere shaded three weeks from appearance at both 40 and 70 Wm–2. None of the shaded tillers died and they continuedto produce new leaves and increase in dry weight but at a reducedrate. In the second experiment, tillers with one emerged leafin any leaf axil position were shaded at 70 W m–2 andin a treatment in which light was reduced to 13 W m–2after initial growth at 70 W m–2. As in the first experimentall shaded tillers survived at 70 W m–2 but in the 70 13 W m–2 transfer regime all shaded tillers died. In the second experiment shaded tillers in both light regimeswere supplied with 14C-assimilate by translocation from theremainder of the plant but in the 70 13 W m–2 the initialsupport was withdrawn within 5 weeks of shading. 通过检测愈伤组织中GUS基因的瞬间表达,研究农杆菌LBA4404/pCAMBIA1301介导多年生黑麦草的转化体系。通过对多年生黑麦草瞬间表达率的比较,确立了其遗传转化的最佳优化条件。研究发现,多年生黑麦草不同品种的转化率在25%~45%之间变化。多年生黑麦草遗传转化最佳优化条件是预培养10d的胚性愈伤组织、浓度为0.5~0.8OD的农杆菌菌液以及2d共培养时间。在共培养基中添加100μmol/L乙酰丁香酮能有效地提高植物瞬间表达率。两种侵染处理方法比较结果为滤纸滴加法比浸泡法更优。转化后对愈伤组织的干燥处理能抑制农杆菌过度繁殖,能改善愈伤状态,有利于提高转化率。  相似文献

The effects of exposure to SO2 (50 and 400 µg m–3SO2) on the growth, photosynthesis, and respiration of perennialryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) cv. S23 were examined in two successivegrowth periods of 29 and 22 d. At the higher concentration ofSO2, there was some visible injury of the leaves and specificleaf area was reduced, but yield, net photosynthesis, and darkrespiration of the plants were not significantly affected byexposure. The treatment was also without effect on the transpirationcoefficient of the plants and their number of tillers. The plantsexposed to the lower concentration of SO2 showed no signs ofinjury and did not differ in any of the measured characteristicsfrom plants grown in SO2-free air. Content of S in the shootsincreased linearly with the concentration of SO2, the additionalS being found in the sulphate fraction whilst organic S wasunchanged. The results are discussed in relation to earlierfindings that yield of ryegrass exposed to SO2 may be reducedwithout visible signs of injury.  相似文献

The pattern of seed abortion was followed in each floret offour centrally positioned spikelets in inflorescences of L.perenne from field plots given zero ( –F) or 150 kg Nh1 ( + F). There was severe lodging prior to anthesisin the +F plots and control inflorescences were compared withthose held in an erect position and with others reduced to fourcentral spikelets. In the - F plots there was only very limitedlodging and erect control inflorescences were compared withthose reduced to four central spikelets. Observations were madeover a 3-week period and the pattern of seed abortion was verysimilar in all of the treatments. Approximately half of thedeveloping seeds in each spikelet were lost by abortion andthere was a similar degree of loss from all florets. The numberof abortions increased greatly with time and approx. one-thirdwere of ovaries and two-thirds were of seeds at a very earlystage of development (1–2 mm in length and without chlorophyllformation). The effect of nitrogen fertilizer was to increaseboth the number of florets per spikelet and the mean weightper seed. The results are discussed in terms of the availabilityof resources to sustain seed development and growth; it is concludedthat the high degree of abortion may be due to genetic defectsassociated with outbreeding rather than with a shortage of nutritionalfactors  相似文献

Growth analysis showed that reductions in the relative growth-rateof subterranean clover plants (cv. Mt. Barker), even those dueto moderate nitrogen deficiencies, were reflected in reductionsof the leaf-area ratio and particularly of the net assimilationrate. A decline in nitrogen supply in the culture solutions was foundto depress net rates of carbon dioxide uptake per unit leafarea and leaf expansion per plant to about the same extent,even at moderate levels of nitrogen stress. Four days aftertransfer of plants grown with adequate nitrogen to solutionswithout nitrogen, leaf area and net carbon dioxide uptake haddeclined to 84 per cent and 89 per cent of the values for thecontrol plants. After a further 4 days these values had decreasedto 71 per cent and 52 per cent respectively. When net carbon dioxide uptake was expressed per unit weightof chlorophyll, the effect of changes in nitrogen supply onnet photosynthesis largely disappeared, indicating a close relationshipwith the chlorophyll content of the leaves. However, anotherand perhaps more direct effect of nitrogen on photosynthesiswas suggested by the fact that, during the early stages of recoveryfrom a severe nitrogen stress, photosynthesis began to increasebefore the chlorophyll content of the leaves.  相似文献

The influence of a low concentration of SO2 on the growth andsulphur status of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) cv.S23 was examined in a system of specially designed growth chambers.For plants grown without additions of sulphate to the soil,erposure to ifitered air containing 50 µg m–3 SO2alleviated sulphur deficiency that developed during a sequenceof successive harvests, and gave increased yield. The plantshad higher contents of organic and inorganic sulphur than thosegrown with neither sulphate nor SO2. Plants grown with addedsulphate showed no signs of sulphur deficiency and althoughexposure to SO2 increased their sulphur content it had no effecton yield. The coefficient of transpiration (g water transpiredg–1 dry wt. of shoots) was reduced when plants which otherwisehad an inadequate supply of sulphur were exposed to SO2; forplants with adequate supplies of sulphate, it was similar whetherthey were grown with or without the addition of SO2 to the air.The results are discussed in relation to other known reactionsof plants to SO2.  相似文献

选取内生真菌特异性引物,成功建立了利用PCR技术对黑麦草中内生真菌感染状况的检测和定量分析方法。此检测方法的准确性高于常规乳酸-苯胺蓝染色法。利用实时荧光PCR定量分析的结果表明:不同植株之间内生真菌含量差异较大,而同株植物相同龄级分蘖之间内生真菌含量无显著差异。由此可见内生真菌的含量不仅与植物种以及品种有关,也与植物的基因型密切相关。  相似文献

The relative assimilatory activity of the inflorescence, itsindividual components, and the leaves of flowering tillers ofPoa annua L. and Lolium perenneL. was determined over the periodfrom inflorescence emergence to seed shedding. The pattern of14CO2 fixation was similar for both species and the inflorescencewas by far the most important assimilatory organ of the reproductivetiller, particularly over the latter period of seed developmentas leaf senescence progressed. With the exception of the seedsall parts of the inflorescence showed significant assimilatoryactivity and the lemmas and paleas accounted for 40–50per cent of the total 14C fixed by the inflorescence in bothspecies. The importance of the grass inflorescence as a photosyntheticstructure is discussed in relation to similar studies on cereals.
