Plant-induced changes in the redox potentials of rice rhizospheres   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Redox potentials in microsites of the rhizosphere of flooded rice were continuously measured for several days. Close to the root tips redox potential markedly increased. The highest increase was measured in the rhizosphere of the tips of short lateral roots. Aerobic redox conditions were reached there, except in a very strongly reduced soil. Both the extension of the oxidation zone around the root tips and the maximum redox potential reached were influenced by the reducing capacity of the soil. The radius of the redox rhizosphere varied from less than 1 mm in a strongly reduced soil up to 4 mm in a weakly reduced one. The root-induced oxidation processes in the rhizosphere depended on the atmospheric oxygen supply to the roots.  相似文献

Effect of aluminium on the mineral nutrition of rice   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A study of the effect of increasing aluminium concentration in a dilute nutrient solution on various aspects of the mineral nutrient uptake by the rice plant has shown that aluminium exerts a stimulation on dry matter production and nutrient uptake until a concentration threshold was reached. The value of this threshold was influenced by nutrient solution composition and cultivar. Its location could be calculated by adjusting to the experimental points a rate law from enzyme kinetics on substrate inhibition curve. On the other hand, total uptake of aluminium and its concentration in the tops was a monotonic function of aluminium concentration in the nutrient solution, the effect of which was greatly enhanced by increased phosphate concentration. A sensitive cultivar accumulated more aluminium than a resistant one.The effect of phosphate on the alleviation of aluminium toxicity was slight in the range of concentration studied.Nitrogen uptake either as ammonium or nitrate nitrogen was clearly influenced by aluminium concentration when its instantaneous value was measured by the technique of the continuously flowing culture solution. The ammonium uptake rate of two cultivars different in sensitivity to aluminium was such that the sensitive variety took up less ammonium and acidified less the culture solution flowing through the root sysstem with a residence time of a few hours.Minor elements concentration in the tops of the rice plants did not seem to be greatly influenced by aluminium with the notable exception of manganese, the uptake of which was clearly depressed by increasing aluminium concentration.Attempts were made at using the speciation of the nutrient solutions with or without aluminium complexation by fluoride in order to rank the various ionic forms of aluminium according to their toxicity. It seems that the well-known result of primary toxicity due to the free Al-ion is also true for rice but that some toxicity is associated with the AlSO4-ion.  相似文献

为探索氮肥运筹对免耕条件下水稻根系生长以及对根际土壤特性、产量的影响,以金优253为材料进行试验。结果表明:平衡施肥显著提高单株根系干重、根长、单株生物量、根半径、单株根表面积、根长密度及根系活力,实收单产高于重穗肥和重基肥处理,且与重基肥差异达95%的显著水平,主要是有效穗数、结实率的增加。平衡施肥显著提高0~10 cm土层的0~2 mm根际土壤有机质、碱解氮含量及脲酶、蔗糖酶活性。因此平衡施肥能明显促进免耕水稻根系生长和有效穗数的增加,对提高水稻产量具有促进作用。  相似文献

由于硝态氮(NO3^--N)对于水稻的生长起到非常重要的作用,所以发生在水稻根际的硝化作用越来越受到人们的重视.试验采用根盒(3室)--速冻切片技术研究了常规籼稻(扬稻6号)和常规粳稻(农垦57)苗期根际土壤矿质态氮、硝化作用和氨氧化细菌数量的时空变异.结果表明,在淹水条件下,土壤矿质态氮主要为铵态氮(NH4^+-N),NH4^+含量随水稻生育期的推进变化不大,但随着距根区的距离增加其含量随之增加,两个水稻品种之间差异不显著;而NO3-的变化趋势与NH4^+不一致,NO3^-含量随水稻生育期的延长而显著下降,在培养58d时其平均含量约为0.05 mg kg^-1,同时在整个土体内呈均匀分布,两个水稻品种之间差异显著.土壤的硝化强度随水稻的生长而增强,且两种水稻的硝化强度均为根际土壤最高,然后依次为土体土壤和根区土壤.扬稻6号和农垦57硝化强度最大值分别出现在距根6 mm和2 mm处,最大值分别为0.88 mg kg^-1h^-1和0.73 mg kg^-1h^-1.土壤氨氧化细菌(AOB)数量随水稻生长时间的增加而增加,且其水平变异趋势与土壤的硝化强度一致,根际土壤AOB数量最多,土体土壤次之,根区土壤最少.相关分析结果表明,硝化强度和AOB数量呈显著正相关关系(r=0.86,p<0.01).种植扬稻6号的土壤NO3^-浓度、硝化强度以及AOB数量总是高于农垦57.  相似文献

大气CO2浓度升高对稻田根际土壤甲烷氧化细菌丰度的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
甲烷氧化细菌是目前已知的稻田甲烷氧化唯一生物,在减少稻田甲烷排放、降低大气甲烷浓度方面发挥着重要作用.利用中国稻/麦轮作FACE(Free Air Carbon-dioxide Enrichment)试验平台,采用实时荧光定量PCR技术,研究了大气CO2浓度升高下,典型水稻生长期根际土壤甲烷氧化细菌数量的变化规律,及其对不同施肥处理(高氮HN和常氮LN)的响应.2009和2010连续2a的观测结果表明,大气CO2浓度升高促进了2009年秧苗期和分蘖期,2010年秧苗期、拔节期和灌浆期甲烷氧化细菌的生长;并可能对2010年常氮条件下成熟期甲烷氧化细菌产生了较显著(P<0.1)抑制;进一步针对甲烷氧化细菌主要类群的分析表明,高氮条件下大气CO2浓度升高提高了稻田根际土壤中Ⅰ型甲烷氧化细菌的丰度.  相似文献

运用末端限制性片段长度多态性(T-RFLP)技术,以强化感水稻品种PI312777和弱化感水稻品种Lemont为材料,研究了旱直播模式下5叶期和7叶期化感水稻根际土壤微生物的组成和结构。结果显示:HaeⅢ和MspⅠ2种内切酶分别检测到9—87个TRFs、15—89个TRFs,各个样本的TRFs排序间存在极显著差异,表明各样本的微生物的相对丰富度存在极显著差异。用物种丰富度(S)、香隆指数(H)、Simpson多样性指数(D)、均匀度指数(E)评价了6个样本中TRFs的多样性,香隆指数最能体现2个酶切片断中TRFs的多样性,PI7中TRFs多样性最高。聚类分析和主成分分析表明旱作条件下强弱化感潜力水稻在生育前期(5叶期以前)根际微生物群落的组成与结构相似性较大,而7叶期强弱化感水稻及对照之间微生物群落差异较大,表明水稻根际微生物的组成既受生育期的影响又受水稻品种的影响。7叶期的化感水稻根际微生物呈现最大物种丰富度和香隆-威尔指数多样性,在其特有的34个菌中有7个属于粘细菌目,另外还有一些滑行菌和一些与氮循环相关的细菌等。粘细菌可能通过次生代谢产物抑制伴生杂草种子的萌发,降低杂草的密度从而提高化感水稻的化感作用潜力。  相似文献

在野外条件下,研究人工湿地植物根际氧化还原电位(ORP)随时间的变化及其与主要环境因子的关系。研究了美人蕉(Canna indica Linn.)、风车草(Cyperus flabelliformis Rottb.)、芦苇(Phragmites australis Trin.ex Steud.)、水鬼蕉(Hymenocallis littoralis(Jack.)Salisb.)、紫芋(Colocasia tonoimo Nakai.)和鸢尾(Iris tectorum Maxim.)6种植物在潜流人工湿地中的根际ORP及其日变化。6种湿地植物的根际ORP日变化曲线相似,均为双峰型,双峰值出现在11:00—14:00之间,最大值出现在14:00。各植物的根际ORP日变化基本在130—350 m V之间,以水鬼蕉的变幅最大,风车草和芦苇的变幅较小。不同植物的根际ORP有较大差异,风车草和紫芋的日平均值最大,显著高于鸢尾、美人蕉和水鬼蕉(P0.05);芦苇显著高于鸢尾和美人蕉(P0.05)。ORP与光照强度和气温呈正相关,尤与气温的正相关最为显著。ORP日平均值与植物生物量有显著的正相关性,尤与地下部分生物量相关性最显著。结果表明,人工湿地植物根际ORP因不同植物、一天中不同的时间有较大差异,后者与光照和气温等环境因子密切相关。  相似文献

以亲本水稻为对照,应用13C脉冲标记和磷脂脂肪酸技术,分析转Bt基因对水稻根际微生物多样性的影响.结果表明:转Bt基因水稻与亲本水稻根际均以饱和脂肪酸和支链脂肪酸为主,单不饱和脂肪酸次之,多不饱和脂肪酸最少.苗期、拔节期和抽穗期,转成基因水稻根际革兰氏阳性菌(G+)代表性磷脂脂肪酸含量显著低于亲本水稻;革兰氏阴性菌(G-)代表性磷脂脂肪酸含量显著高于亲本水稻.水稻各生育期,转Bt基因未对水稻根际土壤真菌、放线菌磷脂脂肪酸含量造成显著影响,且转Bt基因水稻与亲本水稻根际微生物磷脂脂肪酸13C含量无显著性差异.表明外源Bt基因插入仅对水稻根际微生物多样性造成短暂影响,不具有持续性.  相似文献

Models and experimental studies of the rhizosphere of rice plants growing in anaerobic soil show that two major processes lead to considerable acidification (1–2 pH units) of the rhizosphere over a wide range of root and soil conditions. One is generation of H+ in the oxidation of ferrous iron by O2 released from the roots. The other is release of H+ from roots to balance excess intake of cations over anions, N being taken up chiefly as NH4 +. CO2 exchange between the roots and soil has a much smaller effect. The zone of root-influence extends a few mm from the root surface. There are substantial differences along the root length and with time. The acidification and oxidation cause increased sorption of NH4 + ions on soil solids, thereby impeding the movement of N to absorbing root surfaces. But they also cause solubilization and enhanced uptake of soil phosphate.  相似文献

BackgroundThe uneven lipid-lowering statin effects and statin intolerance raise interest regarding the involvement of coadministration of statins and dietary supplements. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of octacosanol supplementation on markers of redox status in cardiovascular patients on chronic atorvastatin therapy.MethodsA double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, single-centre study was conducted. Redox status homeostasis parameters [i.e., advanced oxidation protein products (AOPP), pro-oxidant-antioxidant balance (PAB), total oxidant status (TOS), total antioxidant status (TAS), superoxide dismutase activity (SOD), total protein sulfhydryl (SHgroups), and paraoxonase 1 (PO N 1) activity] were assessed in 81 patients. According to favorable changes in lipid profile, patients were classified into two groups: responders (n = 35) and non-responders (n = 46), and followed for 13 weeks. A principal component analysis (PCA) was applied to explore the effect of octacosanol supplementation and the relationship between investigated parameters as predictors of responders'' and non-responders'' status.ResultsSignificant decrease in Oxy-score value was found at the endpoint compared to baseline in responders'' group (21.0 (13.4-25.5) versus 15.1 (12.4-18.0); P < 0.01). PCA analysis extracted 4 significant factors in the both groups, whereas extracted factors containing "octacosanol status" variable explained 14.7% and 11.5% of the variance in responders'' and non-responders'' subgroups, respectively.ConclusionsOctacosanol supplementation leads to an improvement of lipid profile and markers of redox status in responders'' group. New studies are needed to validate our results in order to find the best approach for personalized supplementation as a useful adjunct to standard statin therapy.  相似文献

选择不同供钾能力的烟-稻轮作区稻田,研究了烟杆还田对水稻产量、钾素吸收利用的影响及其替代钾肥的效果.结果表明: 烟杆还田(2250 kg·hm-2)和施钾肥(K2O 75 kg·hm-2)均能增加水稻产量和地上部钾素的累积量,其中烟杆还田配施钾肥的增幅最大,低钾(土壤速效钾含量<100 mg·kg-1)、中钾(土壤速效钾含量100~150 mg·kg-1)和高钾(土壤速效钾含量>150 mg·kg-1)土壤的水稻分别增产13.3%、17.1%和13.5%.烟杆还田(St+NP)可以提高钾素吸收利用率和农学效率.但在水稻当前推荐施肥量(75 kg·hm-2)条件下,烟杆还田配施钾肥(St+NPK)对钾肥(素)吸收利用率和农学效率无显著影响,说明当前推荐施钾量可能偏高.通过对烟杆还田替代钾肥的计算,发现还田烟杆可以替代10%~22%的化肥钾(K2O),烟后晚稻在烟杆还田时钾肥施用可以减少7.2~16.5 kg·hm-2.因此,在烟杆还田条件下,高钾田块可减少化学钾肥的施用,而中钾和低钾田块为稳定水稻产量和维持土壤钾素平衡,则应保证目前推荐钾肥量的投入.  相似文献

The maximum respiration rate of tomato fruit during the climacteric period was markedly increased when the plants were grown under potassium-deficient conditions. Whereas potassium deficiency had no effect on cytoplasmic glutamate-oxoloacetate transaminase, there was a significant increase in the activity of this enzyme from mitochondria once the fruit began to change colour. Malate dehydrogenase was reduced in activity by potassium deficiency. It is suggested that the augmented mitochondrial transiminase levels, coupled with reduced malate dehydrogenase activity in low potassium fruit, result in reduced levels of oxaloacetic acid which is a potent inhibitor of Krebs cycle oxidations, thus leading to higher respiration rates for the intact fruit.  相似文献

发生在水稻根际的硝化作用对水稻的氮素(N)营养受到人们越来越大的关注。在田间条件下研究了不同N效率粳稻品种(4007、武运粳7号和Elio)在无肥(0kgN/hm^2)、中肥(180kgN/hm^2)和高肥(300kgN/hm^2)水平下籽粒产量、吸N量、N肥利用率、根际土壤铵态氮(NH4^+-N)和硝态氮(NO3^--N)含量、硝化强度和氨氧化细菌(AOB)数量。结果表明不同水稻品种的籽粒产量在3个N处理中差异极显著,4007在中肥处理中获得最高产量11117kg/hm^2,而Eilo在所有处理中籽粒产量均最低。各品种地上部吸N量随施N量增加而增加,但各品种之间差异不显著。不同水稻品种N肥利用率差异显著,4007显著高于武运粳7号和Elio。本试验根据不同品种水稻在不施N肥水平下的籽粒产量与N肥利用率的大小,将3个品种分为N肥高效敏感型(4007)、N肥高效不敏感型(武运粳7号)和N肥低效不敏感型(Elio)。在水稻中后期干湿交替的水分管理条件下,无肥和中肥区的水稻根际土壤以NO3^--N为主;而在高肥区则以NH4^+-N为主。随着施N量增加,水稻根际土壤铵、硝态N含量也随之增加。NH4^+-N含量在无肥、中肥和高肥水平下分别为0.88、0.94mg/kg和13.5mg/kg,而NO3^--N含量分别为1.61、1.73mg/kg和2.33mg/kg。不同水稻品种根际土壤硝化强度之间差异极显著,在3个施N水平下均表现为4007〉武运粳7号〉Elio。其平均值分别为6.94、5.46μg/(kg·h)和2.42μg/(kg·h)。在3个施N水平下,Elio根际土壤AOB数量均显著低于4007和武运粳7号。4007根际土壤AOB数量在高肥水平下达最大值2.02×106个/g土,而最小值为中肥水平下Elio的根际土壤(1.89×105个/g土)。相关性分析表明,水稻根际土壤硝化强度在无肥、中肥和高肥条件下与产量呈极显著正相关关系(r=0.799,0.877,0.934),而且在中肥条件下与水稻N肥利用率显著相关(r=0.735)。水稻根际土壤AOB数量分别和硝化强度以及水稻籽粒产量呈极显著正相关关系。试验结果表明,水稻根际的硝化作用较大程度上决定着水稻籽粒产量或水稻N肥利用率。  相似文献

Summary Spartina alterniflora Lois. plants from a Louisiana salt marsh were subjected to fluctuating levels of soil redox potential under controlled environmental conditions. The experiment was designed to examine the changes in carbon assimilation rates in response to the change in rhizosphere sediment redox condition representing a broad range of reduction normally associated with oxygen deficient environments. Variation in sediment redox potential is frequently encountered by this species in its natural environment in Louisiana's Gulf Coast marshes as a result of tidal patterns. Results indicated some adverse effects of extreme anoxic conditions on carbon assimilation ofS. alterniflora, a possible reflection of this species limited ability for maintaining root oxygenation under rapid, intense reduction in soil redox potential. It was also demonstrated that gas exchange limitations may be temporary and apparently may follow by some recovery. Carbon assimilation rates declined 15 to 21% when soil redox level decreased rapidly to below-200 mV which was followed by substantial recovery. A system for accurate control and measurement of rhizosphere redox potential and simultaneous measurement of plant photosynthetic activity is described.  相似文献

Vitamin D status is highly different in various countries of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. For this review, vitamin D deficiency is defined as serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) <25 nmol/l. Within European countries, serum 25(OH)D is <25 nmol/l in 2–30% of adults, increasing in the elderly and institutionalized to more than 80% in some studies. A north-south gradient was observed for serum 25(OH)D in the Euronut and MORE studies with higher levels in Scandinavia and lower levels in Italy and Spain and some Eastern European countries. This points to other determinants than sunshine, e.g. nutrition, food fortification and supplement use. Mean vitamin D intake in Scandinavia is 200–400 IU/d, twice that in other European countries. Very low serum 25(OH)D levels have been reported in the Middle East, e.g. Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iran. In these countries serum 25(OH)D was lower in women than in men and associated with clothing habits. In a Lebanese survey, vitamin D deficiency was observed in the majority and occurred mainly in veiled women. In India, vitamin D deficiency was observed in more than 30%, vitamin D status being poor in school children, pregnant women and large cities. Vitamin D status was much better in Malaysia and Singapore, but lower serum 25(OH)D was observed in Japan and China. Rickets and osteomalacia appear quite common in India, but precise data are lacking. Immigrants in Europe from the Middle East and Asia carry a high risk for vitamin D deficiency, pregnant women being especially at risk. Comparison of vitamin D status between countries is hampered by interlaboratory variation of serum 25(OH)D measurement. In addition, there is a need of population-based data. In conclusion, vitamin D deficiency is common in Southern Europe, the Middle East, India, China and Japan. It is less common in Northern Europe and Southeast Asia. Risk groups are young children, the elderly, pregnant women and non-western immigrants in Europe. Important determinants are skin type, sex, clothing, nutrition, food fortification, supplement use, BMI and degree of urbanization.  相似文献

A salt-tolerant (Pokkali) and a salt-sensitive (IR28) variety of rice (Oryza sativa L.) were grown in a phytotron to investigate the effect of K (0, 25, 50 and 75 mg K kg–1 soil) application on their salt tolerance. Potassium application significantly increased potential photosynthetic activity (Rfd value), percentage of filled spikelets, yield and K concentration in straw. At the same time, it also significantly reduced Na and Mg concentrations and consequently improved the K/Na, K/Mg and K/Ca ratios. IR28 responded better to K application than Pokkali. Split application of K failed to exert any beneficial effect over basal application.  相似文献
