The subfamily Triatominae is actually represented by 137 species distributed among 6 tribes and 19 genera. Within this subfamily, the genus Panstrongylus, Berg 1879, is composed by 13 species widespread in sylvatic, peridomestic, and domestic habitats of Neotropical regions. These species are vectors of Chagas disease and consequently are found associated with its main hosts, such as birds and mammals. Interest in species of this genus has been increasing in the last few years. Reports of several authors indicate these Triatominae to invade and colonize houses, increasing their epidemiological significance. Morphometry was used in this study to investigate correlations among possible closely related species. We measured 224 specimens among 13 species through a set of metric variables of the head. The results indicated that the genus Panstrongylus seems to be homogeneous since 10 of the 14 species were shown to be closely related.  相似文献

The millipede genus Aponedyopus is endemic to Taiwan and contains three species. All previously described nominal species are considered to represent one species: Aponedyopus montanus Verhoeff, 1939 (the type species), including Aponedyopus reesi (Wang, 1957) and Aponedyopus maculatus Takakuwa, 1942, syn. n. Two further species are described as new: Aponedyopus similissp. n. and Aponedyopus latilobatussp. n. The genus is re-diagnosed, all of its three species are keyed, and their distributions mapped.  相似文献

窗斑野螟属Discothyris Warren, 1895包含3种:锈斑窗斑野螟D. ferruginata (Moore, 1888),大冠窗斑野螟D. megalophalis Hampson, 1899和痕窗斑野螟D. vestigialis (Snellen, 1890)。本文基于外生殖器特征确认了窗斑野螟属为野螟亚科成员,对该属进行了重新描述,首次记录了痕窗斑野螟在中国的分布,并提供了成虫和外生殖器特征图以及分种检索表。  相似文献

Heterophaulactis Yu是作者建立并发表于1974年的一四射珊瑚属,产自广西郁江沿岸、南宁至六景一带的泥盆纪郁江组,其时代属早埃姆斯期牙形刺kitabacus带(前dehiscens带)。对此珊瑚属再行研究,是出于:1)发表在"中国南方泥盆系的新进展"一文,是与其它门类化石共同作为划分和对比地层的化石依据,只限于中文简短描述,对化石图影的展示也有严格的数量限制。尽管此属己被收录在Hill(1981)主编的古生物专论的珊瑚分册中,也只是简短的英文描述和有限的图影,未能充分展示其骨骼演变特征;2)此属的分类位置、科的归属及与相关属的属征比较与讨论,当初均未交待,应予阐明;3)Heterophaulactis属的地理分布广,遍及滇桂两省,通过再研究,其产地已扩展至中国西北地区;其地层分布又有一定的时限性,在广西仅限于郁江组下部的石州段,时代为kitaba-cus带,其它地区也仅见于下泥盆统。文中对Heterophaulactis属的模式种,Heterophaulactis semicrassa的骨骼特征及个体发育过程中的演变均作详细的英文描述和图影展示;与相关属比较之后,认为与本属关系最为密切的是产于西秦岭山区下泥盆统、发表在西北区化石图册上的有些属种,其中的有些属种可以归于本属。文中还记述一新建种Heterophaulactis yujiangense sp.nov.。文章对Heterophaulactis的分类位置和科的归属也有详细比较讨论,认为它是源出自志留纪Pycnactis—Phaulactis的演化序列,应归属于Lykophyllidae Wedekind,1927科。对Miroelasmatinae Cao,1983亚科的原始定义作全面修订后,把它归为Lykophyllidae Wedekind,1927科下的一个亚科;在对化石图册及相关文献上记述的产自西秦岭区下泥盆统四射珊瑚属种的全面修订之前,暂把以下各属置于此亚科:Heterophaulactis Yu,Miroelasma Cao,Qinlingophyllum Cao,Wenxianophyllum Cao,Protaulacophy-llum Cao,Bethanyphyllum sensu Cao,Aulacophyllum sensu Cao和Aulacophyllum sensu Zhang。  相似文献

Three new species of the genus Hexabathynella , H. otayana sp. n., H. hessleri sp. n. and H. muliebris sp. n., from North America are described. A comparison with previous studies results in the reevaluation of characters already known and the discovery of new constitutive characters. The distal spine of the mandibular spine row is regarded as a synapomorphy of the three new species and two previously known species, H. knoepffleri , H. minuta , which constitute a monophyletic group within the genus, the knoepffleri-group. The phylogenetic relationships between the five species are depicted with a cladogram. The setation on the uropodal exopod is shown to be not only a new unique character for the genus, but also a significant one in classifying its species. The presence of the ancestor species of the genus before the Triassic and dispersal during Mesozoic continental drift are assumed to explain the transatlantic occurrence of the knoepffleri-group and the distribution pattern of the other species.  相似文献

A new genus and species are described. The genus Philogalleria Cameron is revised: six species (five of them new) are recognized, described and keyed. Specimens of Periclimenaeus fimbriatus Borradaile, 1915, a palaemonid shrimp reported from only three localities in the Western Indian Ocean, are described and illustrated. The species is removed from the genus Periclimenaeus Borradaile and a new genus Paraclimenaeus is designated for its accommodation. The characteristic features of the genus and its relationships are discussed. 小木层孔菌属的种类在我国共有7种,其中芳香小木层孔菌Phellinidium fragrans为中国首次报道,该种发现于吉林省长白山自然保护区,与同属其它种的区别是子实体多年生、平伏、具有芳香气味,其担孢子在同属的种类中最小,菌肉中具有形状不规则的厚垣孢子。根据中国的材料对这个种进行了详细描述和显微结构绘图。给出了该属种类的检索表,并将每种孢子统计数据列在检索表中。  相似文献

Three new species of Eulophidae associated, or presumed to be associated with ants are described: two species of Horismenus Walker and one species of Microdonophagus Schauff. Information on the biology is also included. The two Horismenus species are from Chiapas, Mexico. Horismenus myrmecophagussp. n. is known only from females and is a gregarious endoparasitoid in larvae of the weaver ant Camponotus sp. ca. textor. The parasitoids pupate inside the host larva, and an average of 6.7 individuals develops per host. This is the second time a species of genus Horismenus is found parasitizing the brood of a formicine ant of genus Camponotus. Horismenus microdonophagussp. n. is described from both males and females, and is a gregarious endoparasitoid attacking the larvae of Microdon sp. (Diptera: Syrphidae), a predator on ant brood found in nests of Camponotus sp. ca. textor. The new species of Microdonophagus, Microdonophagus tertius, is from Costa Rica, and known only from the female. Nothing is known about its biology but since another species in same genus, Microdonophagus woodleyi Schauff, is associated with ants through its host, Microdon larva (with same biology as Horismenus microdonophagus), it is possible that also Microdonophagus tertius has this association. A new distributional record for Microdonophagus woodleyi is also reported, extending its distribution from Panama and Colombia to Brazil.  相似文献

Fourteen species of the genus Autosticha Meyrick,1886 are recorded from Taiwan,China.The genus Cynicocrates Meyrick,1935 is proposed as a new synonym of Autosticha,and its type species A.tachytoma (Meyrick,1935) comb.nov.is transferred to Autosticha.Autosticha cordiformis sp.nov.is described as new,and A.tachytoma is redescribed with male for the first time.A checklist of all the described species in Taiwan is given.Photographs of the new species and the newly combined species are provided.  相似文献

Grunts (family Haemulidae) in the genus Anisotremus comprise 10 described species which occur predominantly on coral reefs and subtropical rocky reefs in the Neotropics of the Tropical Eastern Pacific the Caribbean and adjacent waters. In this study, the phylogenetic relationships for all described species were examined based on one mitochondrial gene (cytochrome b) and one nuclear marker (the first intron of the ribosomal protein S7). Closely related species of the genus Haemulon and the single representative of the genus Genyatremus, G. luteus were also included in the analysis, following the suggestion, based on morphological data, that they may be closely related to, or possibly placed within, Anisotremus. Two sweetlips, genus Plectorhinchus, which belong to the recognized sister subfamily Plectorhynchinae, were used as outgroups. Two species pairs in the ingroup genus Anisotremus are geminate species, which presumably diverged after the rise of the Isthmus of Panama, thus providing an internal molecular clock calibration. This allowed for a comprehensive evolutionary scenario for the genus. Our data were consistent with two independent allopatric speciation events (geminate species), and one likely sympatric speciation event. Our data were also consistent with the placement of Genyatremus and Haemulon within the genus Anisotremus, thus breaking its monophyletic status. As proposed for other coral reef species, Anisotremus seems to have colonized coral reefs from non-coral reef habitats. In addition, ancestral species seem to have been widespread, since species that are currently found in Brazilian and Pacific waters are basal on the phylogenetic tree. Finally, this study adds to the hypothesis of a secondary evolutionary center in the New World.  相似文献

The genus Cidaria Treitschke is revised. Eight species of the genus which occur widely in the Palaearctic and northern India, are recognized, of which one, Cidaria luteata sp. nov. , is described as new while two subspecies of C. fulvata (Forster) are elevated to species, C. nugata Felder stat. rev., and C. distinctata Staudinger stat. nov. C. ochripennis Prout is proposed as a junior synonym of C. ochreata Staudinger. C. deletaria Hampson is excluded from the genus. All species of Cidaria and their genitalia are described and illustrated. The cladistic analysis of these eight species of Cidaria is carried out using two data matrices, the first comprising morphological characters alone and the second morphological and distributional characters. The most parsimonious cladogram of Cidaria is selected, and its monophyly defined. The character analysis shows that some distribution characters contribute to resolving the in group node. 报春苣苔是一类生长在石灰岩基质上的多年生草本植物,目前已知的种类160余种,主要分布在我国南部和越南北部的石灰岩地区。该属植物许多种类分布极其狭域,往往仅零星分布在某个或少数几个地点。近年来,该属植物许多新种类不断地被发现和报道,预示着该属植物可能有更加丰富的多样性。该研究报道了在广西博白县发现的该属植物一新种。从形态上判断,该新种属于广义报春苣苔属,其具有的一些特别的形态特征,如花冠下唇比上唇长得多,上唇内部具有两个近圆形斑点(其它多数种类具有条形斑点),而易于与本属其它物种区分。而且,基于叶绿体mat K基因序列重建的系统发育关系表明,该新种的确属于报春苣苔属且广义报春苣苔属是单系类群。该新种与钟冠报春(P.swinglei)和疏花报春(P.laxiflora)最为近缘,其mat K基因与后两者分别有5个和11个碱基差异,暗示这些物种间经历了较长时间的独立演化或mat K基因在这些物种中具有较高的碱基替换速率。另外,该新种只生长在丹霞岩石上,而其近缘种以及同属大多数其它种类都生长在石灰岩基质上,暗示该新种获得了特殊的适应能力以及与其它近缘种间存在生态隔离。该新种以及近年来本属许多其它新种类的发现,进一步增加了对该属植物多样性的认识,以及该属植物的演化与多样性分化之谜。这些物种所具有的高度区域或局域特有性和稀有性,以及形态上的特殊性和遗传上的独立性,进一步强化了对该属植物开展保护的重要性。  相似文献

The cosmopolitan genus Euplotes is remarkable among ciliates for its species richness. To understand the still tangled taxonomy and phylogenetic relationships within the genus, small subunit rRNA sequences of 11 morphologically defined species colonizing different habitats were determined. Euplotes 18S rRNA is unique among ciliates for its anomalous length and high evolutionary rate. Phylogenetic reconstruction pointed to a high divergence between this genus and the other Spirotrichea, together with a high variability within the genus. Some of the relationships within the Euplotes group were also resolved. Data from the literature, based on morphological features, habitat, and symbiotic relationships, have been compared with our results and are critically discussed. In many cases, the molecular phylogenetic analysis disagreed with species relatedness established on morphological and ecological grounds. The occurrence of a radiation phenomenon in the evolution of the genus is postulated.  相似文献

A third species of the rare augochlorine bee genus Chlerogelloides Engel et al. (Halictinae, Augochlorini) is described and figured. Chlerogelloides nexosasp. n. is most similar to the type species, Chlerogelloides femoralis Engel et al., in that both have modified midlegs in the males. The former, however, can be distinguished on the basis of its terminalia, which in some respects more closely resembles those of Chlerogelloides simplex Engel and Brooks. Brief comments on the secondary features of males and relationships of the genus are provided. A key to the species of the genus is provided and floral records of Cordia nodosa Lam. (Boraginaceae) and Gonzalagunia dicocca Cham. & Schltdl. (Rubiaceae) are noted.  相似文献
