4'-Deoxy-4'-fluorokanamycins A (17) and B (25) have been prepared through fluorinative ring-opening of the D-galacto-3',4'-oxiranes (8 and 21) derived from kanamycin A and B with potassium hydrogenfluoride in ethane-1,2-diol. The mechanism of preponderant formation of the 4'-deoxy-4'-fluoro-D-gluco (9 and 22) over the 3'-deoxy-3'-fluoro-D-gulo derivatives was discussed. In the synthesis of 25, the unusual 3',6'-epimine (23) was the main product along with the 4'-deoxy-4'-fluoro derivative. The mechanism of this reaction is also discussed. Both 17 and 25 were active against resistant bacteria producing aminoglycoside-adenylylating enzymes for HO-4'.  相似文献

Methods of assessing real and apparent trabecular bone density are discussed. A method of defatting trabecular bone using trichlorethylene in an ultrasound bath for 4 h followed by rehydration in distilled water under vacuum is described, and its effectiveness discussed.  相似文献

4-Chlorobenzoate degradation in cell extracts of Acinetobacter sp. strain 4-CB1 occurs by initial synthesis of 4-chlorobenzoyl coenzyme A (4-chlorobenzoyl CoA) from 4-chlorobenzoate, CoA, and ATP. 4-Chlorobenzoyl CoA is dehalogenated to 4-hydroxybenzoyl CoA. Following the dehalogenation reaction, 4-hydroxybenzoyl CoA is hydrolyzed to 4-hydroxybenzoate and CoA. Possible roles for the CoA moiety in the dehalogenation reaction are discussed.  相似文献

Oxidase electrode measurements have shown that the neurotoxin metabolite 1-methyl-4-phenyl-2,3-dihydropyridinium autoxidizes to hydrogen peroxide and 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium in a reaction promoted by iron chelates. The mechanism of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine toxicity is discussed in the light of these findings.  相似文献

Four genes of the Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) monosaccharide transporter-like superfamily share significant homology with transporter genes previously identified in the common ice plant (Mesembryanthemum crystallinum), a model system for studies on salt tolerance of higher plants. These ice plant transporters had been discussed as tonoplast proteins catalyzing the inositol-dependent efflux of Na(+) ions from vacuoles. The subcellular localization and the physiological role of the homologous proteins in the glycophyte Arabidopsis were unclear. Here we describe Arabidopsis INOSITOL TRANSPORTER4 (AtINT4), the first member of this subgroup of Arabidopsis monosaccharide transporter-like transporters. Functional analyses of the protein in yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and Xenopus laevis oocytes characterize this protein as a highly specific H(+) symporter for myoinositol. These activities and analyses of the subcellular localization of an AtINT4 fusion protein in Arabidopsis and tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) reveal that AtINT4 is located in the plasma membrane. AtINT4 promoter-reporter gene plants demonstrate that AtINT4 is strongly expressed in Arabidopsis pollen and phloem companion cells. The potential physiological role of AtINT4 is discussed.  相似文献

Positive electrodes such as LiFePO4 and LiMnPO4 nanomaterials with olivine structures are considered as most efficient cathode materials for application in lithium ion batteries. Recently, several methods have been proposed for the preparation of lithium metal phosphates as cathodes for lithium ion batteries and their electrochemical performances have been investigated. Over the last 20 years, several synthetic methods have been proposed for lithium metal phosphate nanomaterials. In this review, hydrothermal and solvothermal syntheses of LiFePO4 and LiMnPO4 nanomaterials at low and high temperatures are discussed, including microwave‐hydrothermal and microwave‐solvothermal methods. The effect of particle size and particle morphology on the electrochemical properties of LiFePO4 and LiMnPO4 cathode materials are also discussed. In addition, the recently emerged supercritical solvothermal and supercritical hydrothermal syntheses of LiFePO4 and LiMnPO4 nanomaterials and their electrochemical property also been addressed.  相似文献

In 2016 and 2017, the 8th and 9th 4D treatment planning workshop took place in Groningen (the Netherlands) and Vienna (Austria), respectively. This annual workshop brings together international experts to discuss research, advances in clinical implementation as well as problems and challenges in 4D treatment planning, mainly in spot scanned proton therapy. In the last two years several aspects like treatment planning, beam delivery, Monte Carlo simulations, motion modeling and monitoring, QA phantoms as well as 4D imaging were thoroughly discussed.This report provides an overview of discussed topics, recent findings and literature review from the last two years. Its main focus is to highlight translation of 4D research into clinical practice and to discuss remaining challenges and pitfalls that still need to be addressed and to be overcome.  相似文献

LDH-A_4,B_4,and C_4 were isolated and purified from Ctenopharyngodon idellus tissues by means ofaffinity chromatography.The purity,amino acid content and kinetics were analyzed.The anti-LDH-A_4,B_4,and C_4 antibodies were prepared from rabbit sensitized by LDH-A_4,B_4,and C_4respectively.The LDH patterns of some freshwater fish and marine fish were identified by theantigen-antibody precipitation reaction.The homology between LDH isozyme molecules fromdifferent sources and the immunological homology of different LDH isozymes were discussed.  相似文献

C(4) photosynthesis has a number of distinct properties that enable the capture of CO(2) and its concentration in the vicinity of Rubisco, so as to reduce the oxygenase activity of Rubisco, and hence the rate of photorespiration. The aim of this review is to discuss the properties of this CO(2)-concentrating mechanism, and thus to indicate the minimum requirements of any genetically-engineered system. In particular, the Kranz leaf anatomy of C(4) photosynthesis and the division of the C(4)-cycle between two cell types involves intercellular co-operation that requires modifications in regulation and transport to make C(4) photosynthesis work. Some examples of these modifications are discussed. Comparisons are made with the C(4)-type photosynthesis found in single-celled C(4)-type CO(2)-concentrating mechanisms, such as that found in the aquatic plant, Hydrilla verticillata and the single-celled C(4) system found in the terrestrial chenopod Borszczowia aralocaspica. The outcome of recent attempts to engineer C(4) enzymes into C(3) plants is discussed.  相似文献

Cyclic D- and L-4-aminothreose were synthesised from ethyl D- and L-tartrate, respectively. D-aminothreose was a potent inhibitor of alpha-glucosidase and of alpha-mannosidase. From the glycosidase inhibition potencies of the four 4-amino-4-deoxy-tetroses, the contribution of binding of each functionality of the 5 and 6 membered ring amino-sugars towards the various glycosidases is discussed.  相似文献

4-氨基丁酸(4-AB,γ-氨基丁酸或GABA)是一种独特的非蛋白质氨基酸,存在于细菌、低等和高等植物、脊椎动物和一些非脊椎动物。1949年,Steward首先在马铃薯块茎中发现了天然的4-氨基丁酸,50年代初,人们发现4-AB以相当量存在于哺乳动物大脑后,进行了大量的研究,对4-AB在脊椎动物大脑中的代谢和生理作用等各个方面有了相当的了解,但对高等植物体内的4-AB则知之甚少。近几年来,高等植物体内4-AB的研究又出现了许多新的进展,本文在此作一综述。  相似文献
