Twelve single locus trinucleotide microsatellite markers were developed to characterize the Asian river catfish, Mystus nemurus, an important food fish in South East Asia. They were obtained by using a rapid method namely the 5' anchored PCR enrichment protocol. The specific primers were designed to flank the repeat sequences and these were subsequently used to characterize 90 unrelated fish from Malaysia. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 (MnVj2-281) to 12 (MnBp8-4-43b) while the levels of heterozygosity ranged from 0.0444 (MnVj2-1-19) to 0.7458 (MnVj2-291).  相似文献

为了解胶州湾海域鱼类群落结构特征,根据2016—2017年间对胶州湾海域进行的4个航次底拖网调查数据,采用相对重要性指数、生态多样性指数和典范对应分析(canonical correspondence analysis,CCA)、非线性多维标度排序(non-metric multidimensional scaling,NMDS)等方法分析了胶州湾海域鱼类群落的种类组成和多样性特征。结果表明:调查共采集到鱼类46种,隶属2纲10目30科41属,以硬骨鱼纲鱼类为主(45种,97.83%)。其中,鲈形目(Perciformes)最多(22种,47.83%),其次是鲉形目(Scorpaeniformes),占15.22%。种类数季节变化明显,以夏季最高,23种;秋季最低,16种。优势种组成以赤鼻棱鳀(Thryssa kammalensis)、褐菖鲉(Sebastiscus marmoratus)、褐牙鲆(Paralichthys olivaceus)、大泷六线鱼(Hexagrammos otakii)、许氏平鮋(Sebastes schlegeli)和矛尾鰕虎鱼(Chaeturichthys stigmatias)等鱼类为主。多样性分析显示,鱼类物种多样性存在明显的季节差异。多样性指数(H′)季节变化范围为1.668—2.453,以夏季最高,春季最低;均匀度指数(J′)季节变化范围为0.577—0.808,以秋季最高,春季最低;丰富度指数(D′)季节变化范围为2.431—3.123,以冬季最高,秋季最低。典范对应分析表明,水温、盐度、水深和pH是影响胶州湾海域鱼类群落物种组成的主要环境因子,且水温和pH是影响鱼类群落结构及多样性时空变化的主要因子。与历史调查资料相比,由于人类活动对胶州湾生态系统的干扰,鱼类群落结构发生了较大变化,优势种组成更替明显,多样性水平降低,鱼类群落结构趋向简单化。  相似文献

Manzala Lake, as one of the main Egyptian wetland ecosystems, is facing risks of pollution. An in vitro cytotoxicity test using a mammalian cell line was employed to determine the toxicity of multiple pollutants in the water and Tilapia zillii fish sampled from the lake. The concentrations of seven polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and ten polychlorinated dibenzofurans were investigated in water and muscle of the fish in 2014. Cytotoxicity testing showed that the percentage inhibition of cell viability in the studied sites ranged between 56.16% and 83.22%. Dioxin analysis indicated that the average concentrations of 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9-octachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin, 1,2,3,4,7,8-hexachlorodibenzofuran, 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-heptachlorodibenzofuran and 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9-octachlorodibenzofuran were higher than the toxic equivalence quotients (TEQs) set by the World Health Organization (WHO) in all water and fish muscle samples; however, the average concentration of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzofuran was higher only in fish muscle samples. The bioaccumulation factor (BAF) ranged dramatically between 2 and 58.5 for the detected dioxins. Adverse human health effects through the consumption of fish are not expected, because dioxin levels in fish muscle are deemed safe for human consumption. Implementation of a strategic multidisciplinary action plan is strongly recommended to sustain this delta wetland ecosystem.  相似文献

Length-weight relationship was estimated for three fish species, including: Lethrinus microdon (Valenciennes, 1,830), Sphyraena jello (Cuvier, 1829) and Euthynnus affinis (Cantor, 1849). Specimens were sampled between May 2014 and June 2015 from the fish caught by the local artisanal fishery and landed in main fishing landing site of Mocka city. Values of b for fish ranged from 2.644 for S. jello to 2.706 for E. affinis and 3.187 for L. microdon. The determination coefficient (r2) between total length and total body weight ranged from .952 in E. affinis to 0.957 in S. jello and 0.960 in L. microdon.  相似文献

The present study provides the length–weight relationships (LWRs) of 13 fish species belonging to eight families that were collected in Rongcheng Bay, March 2009 to December 2014. The r2 values ranged from 0.953 to 0.994 and values of b varied from 2.542 to 3.454. The study also describes the total length – standard length relationships (LLRs) for these fish species. This is the first record of length–weight and length–length relationships for the fish species in this area.  相似文献

Summary Estimates were made of the ecological fish production in two small lowland rivers uninhabited by salmonids. Eight sites were examined in the Utrata River drainage basin, and five in the Zalewka Brook. Nets were placed at the upper and lower limits of each site and fish were captured using electrofishing apparatus; at the four sites estimates of fish density were verified by the use of rotenone. Twelfe fish species were found, the following being dominant: Three-spined Stickleback, Gasterosteus aculeatus L., Loach, Nemachilus barbatulus (L.), Gudgeon, Gobio gobio (L.). Ecological fish production ranged from 30.7 to 807.2 kg ha-1 a-1 (mean: 210.9 kg ha-1 a-1). Production was highest at the sites with the lowest number of species, the maximum value occurring in the headspring section with three species.  相似文献

The influence of a nuclear power plant’s cooling water and physical structure on benthic cover and fish communities were assessed in a coastal area in Southeastern Brazil. We hypothesised that thermal discharges decrease benthic cover and consequently, change the associated rocky reef fish assemblage structure and that physical structure is directly associated with fish richness and diversity. Twelve sites at different distances (close, near and far) from thermal discharge and types of physical structure (low and high) were sampled by visual census. The average surface temperature at the most impacted sites (close) ranged from 30.5 to 31°C, while at far sites it ranged from 25.5 to 28.5°C. Although thermal influences have decreased benthic cover, and consequently, decreased fish richness and diversity, we found that in near and far sites that had complex habitat structures (physical and benthic cover) fish communities were unaffected. The greatest abundances of Eucinostomus argenteus, Mugil curema and Sphoeroides greeleyi were associated with the highest temperatures at the most impacted sites. In contrast, Abudefduf saxatilis, Chaetodon striatus, Stegastes fuscus, Diplodus argenteus and Malacoctenus delalandii were more abundant at high structured sites far from thermal discharges. Our data support the hypothesis that thermal discharge decreases benthic cover, fish richness and diversity but physical structure, when coupled with high diversity and abundant benthic cover, minimised thermal effects on fish communities.  相似文献

The present study was conducted to characterize fluorophores in the fish body using three-dimensional fluorescence fingerprints (3D-FFs) and to utilize these 3D-FFs obtained from frozen horse mackerel (Trachurus japonicus) fillets to predict early post-mortem changes. Alive fish were sacrificed instantly, preserved in ice until 2 days, and then filleted, vacuum packed, and frozen. Subsequently, 3D-FFs of the frozen fillets were acquired using F-7000 aided with a fiber probe. Post-mortem freshness changes were tracked by measuring adenylate energy charge (AEC) values and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD and NADH) content. Partial least squares regression models for predicting AEC values and NADH content in frozen fish meat showed good fittings, with R2 of 0.90 and 0.85, by utilizing eight and five excitation wavelengths, respectively, based on their fluorescence features acquired from standard fluorophores. This novel approach of 3D-FFs could be utilized as an efficient technique for at-line monitoring of frozen fish quality.  相似文献

Length–weight relationships (LWRs) are presented for four endemic fish species caught in the upper Yalu River during the yearly surveys (2017) by either electrofishing or fish cage net (5 mm mesh size) as soon as the ice melted. The parameter b ranged between 2.244 in Gobio macrocephalus and 3.428 in Ladislavia taczanowskii. Additionally, the parameter a ranged between 0.004 in Misgurnus bipartitus and 0.059 in Gobio macrocephalus. All length‐weight relationships were highly significant (r2 ≥ 0.8754) on a log scale.  相似文献

A systematic procedure is provided for determination of D-amino acid oxidase (EC 1.4.3.3) activity in fish tissues. Activity was surveyed in crude liver homogenates of twenty-three species of fish. Activity ranged from 0-047 to 3-12 units (ρmol product produced per min) per gram wet weight of tissue. Activity was highest in liver, with significant levels occurring in kidney and pyloric caecae. It was below the limit of detection in brain, heart, spleen, testis, gill filaments, and muscle. Some properties of the enzyme from sockeye salmon, Oncorhynchus nerka (Walbaum), were studied. Knowledge of occurrence and levels of D-amino acid oxidase in fish may be useful to fish aquaculturists contemplating supplementation of feed with racemic mixtures of amino acids.  相似文献

Length–weight relationships were evaluated for nine fish species from the Tongjiang section of the Songhua River in China. A total of 675 fish specimens were collected from 4 May to 29 October 2014. Length–weight relationships for six fish species (Romanogobio tenuicorpus, Leuciscus waleckii, Opsariichthys bidens, Microphysogobio amurensis, Pelteobagrus ussuriensis and Misgurnus mohoity) were new to FishBase in 2015, but the length–weight relationships of Pussuriensis was studied by Ma in 2015. New data on M. mohoity is offered, and this study also shows new maximum total lengths for three fish species. The r2 values ranged from .95 to .99. Values of b varied from 2.504 to 3.471.  相似文献

The major resolution of the study was to develop a dynamic form of natural biopolymer material to improve the wound healing by inhibition of biofilm formation on the surface. The extraction of collagen was effectively prepared from Scomberomorus lineolatus fish skin. Lyophilized collagen sheet was liquefied in 0.5M acetic acid to form acidic solubilized collagen (ASC) for further analysis. Physicochemical characterization of ASC was performed by various techniques using a standard protocol. The yield of ASC form S.lineolatus is higher (21.5%) than the previous reported studies. The effect of collagen solubility is gradually decreases with increasing concentration of NaCl and collagen is mostly soluble in acidic pH conditions. The sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis analysis of ASC contains α chain composition of α1 and α2 subunits and was characterized as type I collagen. Ultraviolet absorption was regulated as the appropriate wavelength to optimize the collagen. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction confirmed that the isolated collagen is a triple-helical structure. The biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was significantly reduced by collagen incorporated with isolated 3,5,7-trihydroxyflavone (collagen-TF) sheet up to 70%. The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide assay executed on fibroblast cell lines (L929) shows that the collagen-TF sheet was 100% compatible to enrich the cell adhesion and proliferation. The current study was the first report to extract, purify, and characterize ASC from S. lineolatus fish skin and characterize as type I collagen. Based on the result, we design the natural biodegradable collagen loaded with TF compound (collagen-TF) for antibiofilm properties. Compared with different sources of polymer, fish skin collagen is more effective and can be used as a biopolymer sheet for wound healing, food, drug delivery, tissue engineering, and pharmaceutical application.  相似文献

Presented are the relationships between fork length (FL) and weight (W) for nine fish species sampled from 2010 to 2012 in Lake Dianshan, Shanghai, China. Values of the parameters a ranged from 0.005 to 0.017 and b values ranged from 2.590 to 3.511; all r2 for the relationships were higher than 0.950. The present study deals with the topography of retinal ganglion cells (GCs) and spatial resolution in the smelt Hypomesus japonicus. The eyes and retinae were examined by light microscopy and computerized tomography. DAPI labelling was used to visualize cell nuclei in the ganglion cell and inner plexiform layers. Two zones of increased GC density in the nasal and temporal retina were bridged by a horizontal streak with the GC density ranging from 5600 to 8000 cells/mm2. The maximum cell density (area retinae temporalis) ranged from 9492 to 14,112 cells/mm2, and the total number of GCs varied from 286 x 103 to 326 x 103 cells in three individuals. The theoretical anatomical spatial resolution (the anatomical estimate of the upper limit of visual acuity) was minimum in the ventral periphery (smaller fish, 1.43 cpd; larger fish, 1.37 cpd) and maximum in area retinae temporalis (smaller fish, 2.83 cpd; larger fish, 2.41 cpd). The relatively high density of GCs and presence of the horizontal streak and area retinae temporalis in the H. japonicus are consistent with its highly visual behaviour. The present findings contribute to better understanding of the factors affecting the topography of retinal ganglion cells and mechanisms of visual adaptation in fish.  相似文献

为探究北部湾鱼类生态化学计量特征,于2021年3月—4月采集分析了北部湾沿岸9个渔港的79种鱼类(382尾)碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)含量特征。结果表明北部湾鱼类C、N、P元素含量变化范围分别为33.87%—58.34%、6.31%—14.92%和0.77%—4.67%;C∶N、C∶P、N∶P的变化范围分别为3.43—9.72、19.15—173.06和5.04—33.68,其中P元素含量变化最大,导致C∶P和N∶P的变化。不同物种在科间的差异较大,科内的差异较小。不同体型和食性鱼类之间的C、N、P含量及比值具有显著差异(P<0.05)。鱼类的C∶P和N∶P与P含量呈显著负相关(R2=0.966,P<0.01;R2=0.877,P<0.01),P含量和Ca含量呈显著正相关(R2=0.919,P<0.01),P含量的变化可能与鱼类骨骼和鳞片的形成有关。总之,北部湾鱼类未保持严格的生态化学计量平衡,鱼类生态化学计量特征存在显著的种间差异,主要因鱼类不同的体型和食性差异所致。  相似文献

On the basis of field data measured during four cruises from January to November 2007, variations in the characteristics of dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphate were analyzed in Nansha marine fish cage culture area, Ningbo City, China. Dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) was selected as the parameter to balance seaweed absorption and fish DIN production. The contents of DIN and phosphate varied with different seasons, and eutrophication index (E) value ranged from 2.41 to 15.99, indicating serious eutrophication conditions; the annual average value of N/P of 32.95 indicates a nitrogen surplus in this system. The eutrophication condition in Nansha Bay was mainly caused by the fish cage culture activities. Based on their biological characteristics, Laminaria and Gracilaria were selected as the bioremediation species in winter and spring and summer and autumn, respectively. The optimal co-cultivation proportion of fish cage to Laminaria and Gracilaria in this bay was 1 cage, 450 m2 and one cage, 690 m2, respectively.  相似文献

Bighead carp, Aristichthys nobilis Rich., dry weight food assimilation rates ranged from 37 to 49% (average 43%). The filtration rate ranged from 185 to 256 ml h–1 g–1 and was higher in larger fish. Bighead carp filtered Chlorella vulgaris (6 ± 0.4 µ diam) inefficiently (0.1 %), but the efficiency increased to 13 % for the larger Scenedesmus sp. (12 ± 1.7 µ diam). Fish kept in cages were forced to filter-feed, whereas fish kept free in the same pond were opportunistic plankton and bottom feeders. Free fish grew faster.  相似文献

Samples of 7 species of piscivorous, omnivorous, and herbivorous fish caught at 12 different sites on the Madeira River, Amazon Basin, were analyzed for selenium and mercury. Selenium was determined by anodic stripping voltammetry and mercury by cold vapor atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The means for selenium concentrations ranged from 0.49 to 3.11 nmol/g and for mercury from 0.41 to 6.66 nmol/g depending on the fish species. The molar ratios of Hg:Se increased according to the fish trophic level. Piscivorous species had the highest mean ratio (4.0) and herbivorous species the lowest (0.9). There was a positive and statistically significant correlation between selenium and mercury concentrations for the herbivorous species (r = 0.716;p = 0.0088) not seen for omnivororus and piscivorous species (r = -0.2032;p = 0.3407). These findings are significant for the fish-eating population of the Madeira River because the ingestion of mercury would always be in excess of selenium.  相似文献
