A new species of the genusFellomyces, F. horovitziae, was isolated from aXenasmatella basidiocarp. It differs from other accepted species in its carbon assimilation pattern, mol% G+C and low DNA-DNA homology. The delimiting characters are discussed and a key to the genus is provided.  相似文献

Cortinarius breviradicatus sp. nov., found in deciduous forests, is described and illustrated from Niigata, Japan. It is characterized by its medium-sized to large dark brown basidiocarp, acutely conical pileus, and rooting stipe, and by subglobose to broadly ellipsoid basidiospores. In addition, the extracting solution from its basidiocarps exhibits a strong fluorescence around 400–430 nm in ultraviolet radiation (250 nm), which was observed in a species of Cortinarius sect. Orellani. The new species belongs to the section Orellani. The differences between the new taxon and similar species are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Strobilomyces mirandus, a bolete new to Japan, is described and illustrated. This is the first record of the species outside of the type locality in Malaysia. It is very distinct from other Strobilomyces species by the unusually colored yellow or golden-orange to brownish-orange of the basidiocarp.  相似文献

该文报道了四川凤仙花属四新记录种,即睫毛萼凤仙花(Impatiens blepharosepala Pritz. ex Diels)、红纹凤仙花(Impatiens rubro-striata Hook. f.)、滇西北凤仙花(Impatiens lecomtei Hook. f.)及松林凤仙花(Impatiens pinetorum Hook. f. ex W. W. Smith),并进行了鉴定和讨论,同时提供了相关照片。凭证标本保存于西昌学院标本室(XIAS)中。我国西南地区是世界五大凤仙花属植物分布中心地区之一,此次在四川发现的四新记录种均为我国特有种,该发现对于研究我国西南地区凤仙花属植物的起源和扩散路线具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

Two new species of chironomid midges (Rheosmittia arcuata n.sp. and Mesocricotopus loticus n.sp.) are recognized. They may easily be missed in collections due to their small size, and difficulty in collecting from the larval microhabitat (sand substrates for R. arcuata n.sp., low order streams with depositional substrates including gravel, sand, and silt for M. loticus n.sp.). Some morphological features are given to distinguish the new species from similar congeneric forms. The distribution and some ecological information for each species are also briefly discussed.  相似文献

The mycotrophic character of Annona cherimola (Magnoliales), a tropical/subtropical plantation crop of interest, is described for the first time. This crop seems to depend on mycorrhizae (arbuscular) for optimal growth, with Glomus deserticola being the most effective endophyte tested. Study of the morphology of the arbuscular mycorrhizae in Annona roots showed exclusively intracellular hyphal development, with cell-to-cell fungal passage and an abundance of arbuscules and coiled hyphae within cells. Intercellular distributive hyphae were not observed. The morphology and the pattern of spread of the mycorrhizal colonization were similar for the different endophytes involved and appeared to be dependent on the host root. Such features of mycorrhizal colonization are characteristic of host species lacking intercellular air channels and have been described for some species of ecological interest, but they are not commonly noted in the mycorrhizal literature, especially that dealing with crop species. Some ecophysiological consequences of this pattern of colonization are discussed.  相似文献

A systematic revision of the superfamily Sidoidea Baird, 1850 is carried out based on a considerable amount of material, including types. Unification of the families Sididae and Holopedidae in one group is found to be justified. Two new tribes of the recently isolated subfamily Sidinae Baird, 1850 are described. In considering the systematics of taxa at a species level, special attention is given to the genus Diaphanosoma. Its taxonomy is far from satisfactory but most species may be included in two morphoecological groups. The distribution of some genera and species is analyzed and their regions of origin and ranges are discussed.  相似文献

克隆植物,尤其是游击型克隆植物,具有很强的扩展能力,通过克隆扩展可侵入到不同生境斑块。克隆植物入侵可能会影响入侵地土壤营养状况和微生物群落。为了探明克隆植物入侵对DSE(dark septate endophytes)活动和土壤理化性质的影响,于2013年6月在克隆植物羊柴(Hedysarum laeve)和沙鞭(Psammochloa villosa)群落空地沿根状茎延伸方向设置样方,分别于6月、8月和10月在样方内分0—10、10—20、20—30、30—40、40—50 cm土层采集土样和根样,研究了不同采样时间羊柴和沙鞭群落空地DSE和土壤理化性质时空变化。结果表明,从6月到10月,随时间后延,克隆植物逐渐侵入群落空地,沙鞭入侵群落空地数和分株数高于羊柴。羊柴群落空地根系DSE定殖率随采样时间后延,逐渐降低,最大值在6月;沙鞭群落空地根系DSE定殖率随采样时间后延,逐渐升高,最大值在10月。随着克隆植物入侵,入侵地土壤中可利用的营养物质含量显著提高,羊柴入侵提高了入侵群落空地土壤碱解N、有效P和速效K含量,沙鞭入侵提高了入侵群落空地土壤碱解N和有效P含量。相关性分析表明,羊柴群落空地DSE定殖率与土壤p H值和电导率显著正相关,沙鞭群落空地DSE定殖率与土壤p H值极显著负相关,与电导率、碱解N和有效P极显著正相关。克隆植物入侵使得土壤环境更有利于克隆植物自身生长,为荒漠植被恢复提供了前提。  相似文献

It has been known for long time that asexual organisms may affect the distribution of sexual taxa. In fact, such phenomenon is inherent in the concept of geographical parthenogenesis. On the other hand, it was generally hypothesized that sperm-dependent asexuals may not exercise the same effect on related sexual population, due to their dependence upon them as sperm-donors. Recently, however, it became clear that sperm-dependent asexuals may directly or indirectly affect the distribution of their sperm-hosts, but rather in a small scale. No study addressed the large-scale biogeographic effect of the coexistence of such asexuals with the sexual species. In our study we were interested in the effect of sexual–asexual coexistence on the speed of spatial expansion of the whole complex. We expand previously published Lotka–Volterra model of the coexistence of sexual and gynogenetic forms of spined loach (Cobitis; Teleostei) hybrid complex by diffusion. We show that presence of sperm-dependent parthenogens is likely to negatively affect the spatial expansion of sexuals, and hence the whole complex, compared to pure sexual population. Given that most of the known sperm-dependent asexual complexes are distributed in areas prone to climate-induced colonization/extinction events, we conclude that such mechanism may be an important agent in determining the biogeography of sexual taxa and therefore requires further attention including empirical tests.  相似文献

Seven species ofCatapyrenium and one ofPlacidiopsis are reported from Greenland. Five taxa, viz.Catapyrenium michelii, C. norvegicum, C. squamulosum, C. waltheri andPlacidiopsis pseudocinerea are new to the area. Taxonomy, distribution and ecology are briefly discussed. An Asiatic mosquito species, Aedes albopictus, began to spread worldwide in the 1970s thanks to marine transport of tires and other goods, leading to colonization of many areas of the world. This species is a vector of major human diseases such as Dengue, Yellow Fever and the West Nile virus. In Europe, it was established in Albania and Italy and has been detected in other countries such as France; no records exist for Spain as yet. Colonization by Aedes albopictus is a major public health concern considering that the West Nile virus and several other viruses are known to circulate sporadically in the Mediterranean. Additionally, the parent species Aedes aegypti was the vector causing severe outbreaks of Dengue and Yellow Fever two centuries ago. Although Ae. aegypti was also introduced, it was eradicated from Spain. Both mosquitoes shared habitat types, diseases transmitted and many bionomic data. This article contains a review of the present Ae. albopictusdistribution range worldwide and discusses the likelihood of an establishment in Spain in view of climatological and geographical data. Sitka spruce stumps were inoculated with decay fungi using colonized sawdust or dowel inoculum to investigate colonization in paired combinations. Estimates of domain sizes were made in the top 15 cm of stump after 13–14 or 21–23 months with sawdust or dowel inoculations, respectively. None of the co-inoculated species prevented colonization by Heterobasidion annosum; sapwood colonization by Resinicium bicolor may limit growth of H. annosum colonies out of heartwood, reducing the incidence of disease transfer at root contacts. H. annosum colonized stumps despite the presence of competing inoculum. Reduced colonization occurred in paired inoculations with R. bicolor, but not with other fungi. Co-inoculations with Stereum sanguinolentum increased colonization by H. annosum. R. bicolor largely remained in the upper 3–4 cm of stumps and reduced colonization by Melanotus proteus; growth of S. sanguinolentum was completely prevented. The results are discussed in relation to the colonization strategies of the decay fungi, their ability to colonize stumps in the presence of competitors and factors influencing development of communities of decay fungi in stumps.  相似文献

The evolution and taxonomic relationships in theTriticeae are discussed with the view to highlight aspects of this agronomically important group of plants, which may be of interest to molecular biology. Some of these aspects are addressed in more detail in adjoining papers in which specific genomic loci have been examined at the DNA sequence or isozyme level. Aspects discussed include the systematics and geographic distribution of theTriticeae species, isozyme and chromosome pairing studies on some of the species as well as more recent developments in DNA analyses. A survey of the systematics of theTriticeae indicated that the genomic system ofLöve is probably the most useful starting point for interpreting molecular data even though the system has many problems from a taxonomic point of view. The geographical distribution ofTriticeae species, using both published and unpublished data, suggested that information of this type taken together with the theory of continental drift provides a broad time-span for considering data from DNA sequence studies. The significance, and modes of analyses, of isozyme studies were assessed because they often provide valuable characters in determining relationships between species. The main character underlyingLöve's andDewey's analyses of theTriticeae, namely chromosome pairing, is discussed with particular reference to isozyme studies to show that in some cases, such as species ofHordeum sensu lato, consistent relationships are obtained. Finally, new developments in understanding chromosome structure are considered in relation to the above variables in the taxonomy and evolution of theTriticeae.  相似文献

The onychopod cladoceran Cercopagis that recently invaded the Baltic Sea is reported from new zones of the northern Baltic proper. Because of successful survival and an expanding distribution range, the addition of Cercopagis to the Baltic fauna is considered to be permanent. What has previously been cited as Cercopagis pengoi encompasses the morphology of several other species, subspecies and forms. Either a number of morphologically similar species is present, or there is a number of spurious species in Cercopagis. The last hypothesis is favoured. The spatial distribution pattern of Cercopagis, as well as that of total zooplankton, was correlated with depth. Deep (>100 m) and shallow (<10 m) stations had significantly lower abundance than stations of intermediate depth (<100 m). An overview of the distribution of C. pengoi group in fresh and brackish waters suggests a high tolerance to environmental factors, but with differences among taxa. Due to this ecological flexibility, the colonization of the Baltic is not unexpected. Increasing salinity may restrict dispersal of cercopagids to the southern areas of the Baltic and to the North Sea, but inland lakes (e.g. in Sweden) present an ecological profile suitable for colonization.  相似文献

Hippophae rhamnoides ssp. sinensis is endemic to China, and it is a dioecious, outcrossing plant. Although many studies have been undertaken mainly on its agricultural, nutritional, medical, and ornamental value, little is known about its population genetics. This study uses random amplified polymorphic DNA to investigate the genetic diversity and population genetic structure of 13 natural populations of the subspecies sinensis. Fifteen primers amplified 107 reproducible bands, with 95 (88.79%) being polymorphic. The gene diversity within population was 0.168, considerably lower than that of tree species and most perennial, outcrossing species, but higher than that of annual or short-lived, selfing species. The Gst value showed that 18.3% of the total genetic variation resided among populations, a little lower than that of outcrossing species. The present results are quite similar to those previously reported in another subspecies, H ssp. . rhamnoides rhamnoides. The low genetic differentiation among populations in ssp. sinensis may be attributed to the long-distance dispersal of seeds facilitated by birds, in addition to its characteristics of outcrossing, wind pollination, and widespread distribution. No association between genetic distance and geographical distribution was found. The population relationships revealed by the UPGMA dendrogram parallel this result, in that genetic distance did not increase with geographic separation. This pattern of population differentiation may imply the adaptation of ssp. s populations to the local environment, given that its habitats vary greatly across its distribution.  相似文献

Understanding the present-day distribution of molecular variation requires knowledge about the history of the species. Past colonization routes and locations of refugia of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) were inferred from variation in mitochondrial DNA in material collected from 37 populations located in countries within, and immediately adjacent to the continent of Europe. Two mitochondrial regions, nad1 intron (exon B/C) and nad7 intron 1, were included in the study. Differentiation in maternally inherited mitochondria was high (G ST′ = 0.824). Two new haplotypes were found at the nad7 intron 1. The occurrence of a 5-bp indel variant was restricted to the Turkish Kalabak population and a 32 bp only found in Central, Eastern, and Northern Europe. The complete absence of the 32-bp indel from the Mediterranean peninsulas supports the view that coniferous forests existed outside these areas during the last glacial maximum, and these populations contributed to the subsequent colonization of the northern parts of Europe. P. sylvestris shares features of its glacial and postglacial history with two other northern, cold-tolerant tree species, Picea abies and Betula sp. These three species differ from many other European trees for which pollen core and molecular evidence indicate colonization from southern refugia after the last glacial period.  相似文献

Anthropoid primates of the subfamily Oligopithecinae are late Eocene in age, and have a known distribution of Northeast Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Body sizes of the three known oligopithecine species are estimated from allometric molar size regressions to be 700–1000 g forOligopithecus savagei, 600–900 g forCatopithecus browni, and 500 g for the least well-known and smallest species,Proteopithecus sylviae. Occlusal features of the molar teeth, considered in conjunction with body size, suggest that all three species were frugivorous and insectivorous. The orbital size ofCatopithecus indicates a diurnal activity cycle. A relatively broad interobital region in this species may indicate prosimian-like or callitrichid-like olfactory adaptations. Structural features of the crushed skull suggest thatCatopithecus had a smaller cranial capacity than those of extant anthropoids with a similar body size. Fossil plants and birds from localities yielding oligopithecines suggest a wet, warm, tropical, forested, swampy environment. These paleobiological inferences about the extinct oligopithecines are discussed in relation to questions about primate adaptations near the prosimian-anthropoid transition.  相似文献

气候变化和人为引种正在改变世界物种的分布格局,对生态系统中的关键物种构建分布模型,有助于理解全球气候变化背景下物种的分布变化规律,并预测其对生态系统的潜在影响。灰喜鹊(Cyanopica cyanus)是重要的食虫鸟类,对控制虫害、维持森林生态系统的稳定性具有重要意义,由于人为引种等原因,目前灰喜鹊已在其自然分布地外建立了多处可自我维持的种群。基于气候生态位理论,使用最大熵模型构建了自然分布地模型、引入地模型及综合分布模型等3种模型,模拟灰喜鹊在当前时期、2050s时期及2070s时期的潜在适生区,并以此分析灰喜鹊的分布格局与变化趋势。结果表明:(1)当前时期,自然分布地种群的适生区主要分布于华北、华中和华东地区,而引入地种群的适生区则主要分布于华南和西南地区;(2)在未来气候变化的背景下,各模型结果均表明灰喜鹊有显著的扩张趋势,自然分布地种群主要表现为向高纬度、高海拔地区扩散,截至2070s时期,适生区的质心向北偏东25°方向移动了229.16 km,而引入地种群扩张趋势较缓,截至2070s时期,质心仅向北偏东46°方向移动了67.69 km;(3)从适宜值方面来看,自然分布地模型中...  相似文献

The Drosophila buzzatii cluster is composed of seven cactophilic species and their known geographical distribution encompasses the open vegetation diagonal, which includes the morphoclimatic Domains of the Caatinga, Chaco and Cerrado, which are situated between the Amazon and the Atlantic forests. Besides these areas, these cactophilic species are also found in a narrow strip along the Atlantic coast from northeastern Brazil to the southern tip of the country. The hypothesis of vicariant events, defining the core areas of each species, is proposed to explain the historical diversification for the cluster. The intraspecific analysis for the cluster shows a population structure with gene flow restricted by distance, range expansion with secondary contact resulting in introgression and simpatry, especially in the limits of the species distribution, polytypic populations and assortative mating in inter population experiments. There is a variation related to these events that depends on the species and geographic origin of the population analyzed. These events are, hypothetically, described as the results of expansion and retraction of the population ranges, as a consequence of their association with cacti, which theoretically follow the expansion and retraction of dry areas during the paleoclimatic oscillations in South America, as that promoted by the glacial cycles of the Quaternary. The Drosophila buzzatii cluster is divided into two groups. The first one is composed of D. buzzatii, a species that has a broad geographic distribution and no significant differentiation between its populations. The second is the Drosophila serido sibling set, which encompasses the others species and is characterized by a significant potential for differentiation.  相似文献
