In a field of potatoes, top-roll, which is induced by the aphid Macrosiphum euphorbiae feeding on the leaves, was restricted to two rows of plants which accidentally received no phorate aphicide granules at planting. The photo-synthetic rate per unit leaf area and the ground cover of top-rolled leaves were respectively 50% and 20% less than those of normal plants which may account for the smaller yields of affected plants observed in previous experiments.  相似文献

目的:分析干湿重法测定脑水肿的温度条件和时间条件,探讨优化测量方案。方法:健康SD大鼠随机分为3组(n=4):取脑组织称其湿重,分别连续烘烤16 h,用于不同温度条件下60℃、90℃、110℃的干湿重法脑水肿测定,检测不同时间点脑组织重量变化以及重量差值变化情况。结果:在不同温度下,随着时间的延长,脑组织重量逐渐减轻;温度在110℃条件下,9 h两次称量干重之差小于0.0002 g,已经烘烤至恒重;90℃温度条件下12 h至恒重;60℃温度条件下15.5 h至恒重。结论:干湿重法测量脑水肿的优化方案为110℃ 9 h、90℃ 12 h、60℃ 15.5 h,为脑水肿的测定提供实验依据。  相似文献

The inoculation ofEucalyptus pilularis seedlings withPisolithus tinctorius and the subsequent development of ectomycorrhizas, led to an improved acquisition of phosphorus (P) from three different sources of P. These sources included insoluble phytate. Dry weight gain of seedlings was increased by inoculation in those treatments where growth was limited by P supply.  相似文献

C(4)-type photosynthesis is known to vary with growth and measurement temperatures. In an attempt to quantify its variability with measurement temperature, the photosynthetic parameters - the maximum catalytic rate of the enzyme ribulose 1.5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (Rubisco) (V(cmax)), the maximum catalytic rate of the enzyme phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) (V(pmax)) and the maximum electron transport rate (J(max)) - were examined. Maize plants were grown in climatic-controlled phytotrons, and the curves of net photosynthesis (A(n)) versus intercellular air space CO(2) concentrations (C(i)), and A(n) versus photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) were determined over a temperature range of 15-40 degrees C. Values of V(cmax), V(pmax) and J(max) were computed by inversion of the von Caemmerer & Furbank photosynthesis model. Values of V(pmax) and J(max) obtained at 25 degrees C conform to values found in the literature. Parameters for an Arrhenius equation that best fits the calculated values of V(cmax), V(pmax) and J(max) are then proposed. These parameters should be further tested with C(4) plants for validation. Other model key parameters such as the mesophyll cell conductance to CO(2) (g(i)), the bundle sheath cells conductance to CO(2) (g(bs)) and Michaelis-Menten constants for CO(2) and O(2) (K(c), K(p) and K(o)) also vary with temperature and should be better parameterized.  相似文献

The application of surface-active agents (SAA) — acrylate latexes (PVAE), synthetic fatty acids (SFA) and fatty alcohols (SFS), urea-formaldehyde resins (UF) and silicones (HS) — on leaves or into soil, induced an increase in photosynthetic rate, in the ratio of rates of photosynthesis and transpiration and in yields, with a simultaneous decrease in respiration rate. 本文利用Kubelka-Munk理论描述了平行光在叶片内的吸收和散射,同时利用叶片分层光合作用非直角双曲线光反应模型,给出了整张叶片光合作用计算式。最后利用优化理论阐明了叶片叶肉分化成光合特性具有明显差异的栅栏组织和海绵组织可能是对叶片内光梯度的一种适应;同时证明了叶片叶肉在一定环境光强下存在一个最佳的栅栏组织和海绵组织比例,并且这个比例随环境光强增大而增大,这最佳比例也受叶肉组织光合特性差异的影响。  相似文献

Tomato leaf disks were inoculated with tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and floated for 7 days on solutions of kinetin and benzyladenine in the range 20-0-002 mg/1. Virus content was reduced at the higher and increased at the lower concentrations. Benlate and benomyl showed a peak of cytokinin activity in the Amaranthus betacyanin bioassay equivalent to c. 0–002 fig/l kinetin. At concentrations above 25 and 100 mg a.i./l for Benlate and benomyl respectively, both compounds increased the TMV content of tomato leaf disks. Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) content in cucumber cotyledon disks was increased by Benlate and benomyl treatment (50–100 mg/1). Applied as a soil drench (50–500 mg a.i./l) when the plants were inoculated, Benlate increased the CMV content of infected seedlings. The number of starch-iodide lesions (a measure of susceptibility) was unaltered in cotyledons treated with Benlate 7 days before or immediately after inoculation. Infectivity of crude infective cucumber sap was unaffected by benomyl incorporation, whereas Benlate reduced infectivity at higher concentrations (1000–5000 mg/1). Under the experimental conditions described, Benlate, benomyl, benzyladenine and kinetin had no effect on the chlorophyll content of tomato leaf disks, and intact seedlings.  相似文献

The photosynthetic CO2 fixation by spinach leaf (Spinacia oleracea L. var. Kyoho) protoplasts was inhibited by substituting an atmosphere of N2 with one of either air (21% O2) or 100% O2. The inhibitory effect of 100% O2 was greater than that of air. The mode of inhibition by 100% O2 and air was competitive with respect to CO2; Ki(O2) value was 0.32 mM at pH 7 and 0.28 mM at pH 8.5 The labeling patterns of compounds in protoplasts exposed to 14CO2 in light after transferring them from N2 to O2 atmospheres were examined. There was no detectable 14CO2 incorporation into glycolate under anaerobic and O2 atmospheres; a more marked labeling of glycine occurred under an oxidative environment compared to that under the anaerobic condition, presumably because of a rapid transformation of glycolate to glycine in the protoplasts.  相似文献

The impact of photosynthesis on initiation of leaf senescence   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Senescence is the last stage of leaf development preceding the death of the organ, and it is important for nutrient remobilization and for feeding sink tissues. There are many reports on leaf senescence, but the mechanisms initiating leaf senescence are still poorly understood. Leaf senescence is affected by many environmental factors and seems to vary in different species and even varieties of plants, which makes it difficult to generalize the mechanism. Here, we give an overview on studies reporting about alterations in the composition of the photosynthetic electron transport chain in chloroplasts during senescence. We hypothesize that alternative electron flow and related generation of the proton motive force required for ATP synthesis become increasingly important during progression of senescence. We address the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in chloroplasts in the initiation of senescence, retrograde signaling from the chloroplast to the nucleus and ROS‐dependent signaling associated with leaf senescence. Finally, a few ideas for increasing crop yields by increasing the chloroplast lifespan are presented.  相似文献

采用盆栽水分试验,研究了不同生育期短期干旱处理对水稻叶水势、光合作用和干物质分配的影响.结果表明,干旱胁迫后,水稻叶水势低于对照,午后叶水势回升缓慢。凌晨叶水势随土壤含水量的降低而降低,表现为阈值反应。叶片净光合速率与凌晨叶水势密切相关,低于凌晨叶水势临界值,水稻叶片净光合速率急剧下降在水稻抽穗期和灌浆期叶片净光合速率显著下降的凌晨叶水势临界值为-1.04和-1.13MPa,对应的土壤含水量阈值分别为饱和含水量的61.0%和50.9%,土壤水势分别为-0.133和-0.240MPa干旱胁迫下单叶净光合速率的日变化规律表现为:胁迫较轻时,单叶净光合速率在正午附近出现低谷;胁迫严重时,净光合速率全天低于对照,且不及对照的一半。短期干旱后,水稻叶、根、穗的分配指数均降低,茎鞘的分配指数升高。本研究可为水稻节水灌溉管理和水分限制下水稻的生长模拟提供生理基础和理论依据。  相似文献

Summary Plants of Diplacus aurantiacus, a successional shrub common in California chaparral, were grown under controlled conditions in which either quantum flux density or nitrogen availability was varied. Photosynthesis and leaf nitrogen content were determined on a leaf area and a leaf weight basis, and whole plant growth was monitored.There was a direct relationship between photosynthesis and leaf nitrogen content on both area and weight bases. Reduced light intensity of the growth environment resulted in reductions in light-saturated photosynthesis and nitrogen content on an area basis, but not on a weight basis. With reduced nitrogen availability, photosynthesis and leaf nitrogen content per unit leaf weight decreased.Resource use efficiency increased as the resource became more limiting. The results are consistent with a model of plant growth in which net carbon gain of the leaf is maximized. Abbreviations. For brevity, the following set of abbreviations is used in presenting and discussing the results. P/area and N/area are, respectively, photosynthesis and leaf nitrogen content per unit leaf area. 目的建立干烤法测定C群脑膜炎球菌多糖原液固体总量的不确定度分析方法。方法分析C群脑膜炎球菌多糖原液固体总量测定过程中引入的不确定度,并对各个不确定度的分量进行评估。结果由各分量不确定度计算合成不确定度,最终给出测定结果在95%置信区间的扩展不确定度。结论 C群脑膜炎球菌多糖原液固体总量测量不确定度主要由取样及干燥过程引入,在试验中须严格控制以减小不确定度。  相似文献
