We investigated the role of complement component C1q in the IgG-independent opsonophagocytosis of type III group B Streptococcus (GBS) by peripheral blood leukocytes. We report that C1q binds to type III GBS both in normal human serum deficient in IgG specific for type III capsular polysaccharide and in a low-ionic strength buffer. The dissociation constant Kd ranged from 2.0 to 5.5 nM, and the number of binding sites Bmax ranged from 630 to 1360 molecules of C1q per bacterium (CFU). An acapsular mutant strain of GBS bound C1q even better than the wild type, indicating that the polysaccharide capsule is not the receptor for C1q. In serum, binding of C1q to GBS was associated with activation of the classical complement pathway. However, normal human serum retained significant opsonic activity after complete depletion of C1q, suggesting that the serum contains a molecule that is able to replace C1q in opsonization and/or complement activation. Mannan-binding lectin, known to share some functions with C1q, appeared not to be involved, since its depletion from serum had little effect on opsonic activity. Excess soluble C1q or its collagen-like fragment inhibited phagocytosis mediated by normal human serum, suggesting that C1q may compete with other opsonins for binding to receptor(s) on phagocytes. We conclude that, although C1q binds directly to GBS, C1q binding is neither necessary nor sufficient for IgG-independent opsonophagocytosis. The results raise the possibility that additional unknown serum factor(s) may contribute to opsonization of GBS directly or via a novel mechanism of complement activation.  相似文献

We have produced and characterized six mAb directed against group B streptococci (GBS). All antibodies are IgM. We have previously shown that some of these antibodies are highly protective in the treatment of experimental infections in neonatal rats, whereas others do not appear to have any protective efficacy. Using an ELISA, we demonstrate the specificity of both protective and nonprotective antibodies. Two antibodies, binding different epitopes, are directed against antigenic structures present on all GBS; two are specific for type III carbohydrate determinants; one binds to a protein Ag present on all type I and II GBS; and one appears to bind to type Ia GBS only. Quantitative absorption assays provide evidence that the difference between protective antibodies and nonprotective antibodies is the avidity that the antibody demonstrates for the epitope recognized on the surface of the bacteria; 10 to 15 times as much protective antibody binds to GBS as does nonprotective antibody. Direct binding experiments with radiolabeled antibody confirm this conclusion.  相似文献

TheEscherichia coli O73:K92:H1 serotype, which possesses a capsular antigen immunochemically similar to the capsule of the group C meningococcus, is demonstrated in this study to be resistant to phagocytosis by normal human PMNs and serum and to be dependent upon immune antibody and presumably the classical complement pathway for opsonization. Using both a luminol-dependent chemiluminescence assay and an in vitro bactericidal system, we examined, in both the absence and presence of complement, the opsonic activity of IgM ang IgG antisera. Of the various antisera tested, only those sera cross-reactive with the K92 capsular antigen were found to be opsonic both in vivo and in vitro, while somatic O or lipid A antisera demonstrated no activity. In in vitro studies with capsular IgM and IgG antisera, only IgG demonstrated opsonic activity without complement, whereas IgM required complement for opsonization of O73:K92:H1. These data demonstrate that antisera directed toward capsular antigens are opsonic for this phagocytosis-resistantE. coli, and that complement is a necessity for opsonization in the absence of sufficient capsular IgG antibodies.  相似文献

Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is the foremost bacterial cause of serious neonatal infections. Protective immunity to GBS is mediated by specific Abs to the organism's capsular polysaccharide Ags. To examine the role of complement in the humoral immune response to type III GBS capsular polysaccharide (III-PS), mice deficient in C3 or in CD21/CD35 (i.e., complement receptors 1 and 2; CR1/CR2) were immunized with III-PS. Mice deficient in C3 or Cr2 had an impaired primary immune response to III-PS. The defective response was characterized by low IgM levels and the lack of an isotype switch from IgM to IgG Ab production. Compared with wild-type mice, C3- and Cr2-deficient mice exhibited decreased uptake of III-PS by follicular dendritic cells within the germinal centers and impaired localization of III-PS to the marginal zone B cells. Complement-dependent uptake of capsular polysaccharide by marginal zone B cells appears necessary for an effective immune response to III-PS. The normal immune response in wild-type mice may require localization of polysaccharide to marginal zone B cells with subsequent transfer of the Ag to follicular dendritic cells.  相似文献

An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay system combined with microcomputer data analysis was established as a quantitative assay method of immunoglobulins. The assay system was applied to measure IgG and IgM levels of anti-microbe antibodies in animals, especially mouse and rat. And now the measurement of IgG and IgM levels (ng/ml) of anti-Sendai virus (HVJ) antibodies in naturally infected mice is available. The assay system could improve serodiagnosis in the specificity and sensitivity and in the rapid treatment of many serum samples. The operation of this system was performed by a microcomputer, FM 8 connected Titertek Multiskan MC. The limited sensitivity of this assay for IgG and IgM was 10 ng/ml and 30 ng/ml, respectively. Ninety-one of serum samples were positive for IgG and/or IgM (45 samples for IgG and IgM, 44 samples for IgG, 2 samples for IgM) to Sendai virus in the tested 279 mouse sera, and serum titers were ranged from 1: 10 to 1: 12,800 in the IgG, and from 1: 20 to 1: 160 in the IgM. In these titers, serum IgG and IgM amounts were estimated to be 0.1 to 154 micrograms/ml and 0.5 to 4.8 micrograms/ml, respectively. Relationships of serum titers and antibody amounts were almost consisted, being judged like that approximately 10 micrograms/ml is 1: 400, 30 micrograms/ml is 1: 1,600 in IgG, and 2.4 micrograms/ml is 1: 80, 4 micrograms/ml is 1: 160 in IgM.  相似文献

We have investigated the mechanisms by which a murine IgA mAb directed against the type III Ag (IgA anti-III mAb) of group B streptococci (GBS) protects neonatal rats from lethal infection with these organisms. Purified IgA anti-III mAb enhanced phagocytosis of type III GBS by rat peritoneal macrophages in vitro by fourfold compared with phagocytosis of buffer-treated GBS. In the absence of antibody, neonatal rat serum did not promote phagocytosis, but addition of neonatal rat serum to GBS opsonized with IgA anti-III led to a sevenfold increase in phagocytosis. Heat inactivation of C destroyed the ability of neonatal rat serum to enhance phagocytosis in the presence of IgA. C3 deposition was observed when GBS coated with IgA anti-III mAb were incubated in untreated neonatal rat serum or in serum treated with Mg/EGTA. This latter observation suggested that C3 deposition occurred through activation of the alternative pathway. The control IgA mAb MOPC 315 did not enhance GBS ingestion or C3 deposition on GBS. Depletion of C in vivo by using cobra venom factor abolished the protective effect of IgA anti-III mAb in the neonatal rat model. These data suggest that the ability of this IgA to activate C further enhances its opsonic activity and may be essential for its protective effect in vivo.  相似文献

Group B streptococci (GBS) are a major cause of meningitis and septicemia in neonates and numerous invasive diseases in adults. Host defense against GBS infections relies upon phagocytosis and killing by phagocytic cells. To better understand the importance of this defense mechanism a flow cytometric assay was developed to study phagocytosis and oxidative burst of leukocytes stimulated by bacteria. GBS labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate were used for phagocytosis experiments and the extracellular fluorescence was quenched by ethidium bromide to differentiate intracellular from extracellular bacteria. The intracellular oxidative burst was determined by using 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein diacetate to measure hydrogen peroxide production and hydroethidine for superoxide anion production. We found that for GBS serotypes Ia, Ib/c, II, and III phagocytosis was greater in neutrophils than monocytes. Hydrogen peroxide production and superoxide anion production were also greater for neutrophils than monocytes in all serotypes tested. A comparison of seven type III strains revealed greater phagocytosis and superoxide anion production by neutrophils than monocytes but no difference in hydrogen peroxide production. Therefore, monocytes react similarly as neutrophils in response to GBS but at a reduced level. This methodology of measuring both phagocytosis of GBS and oxidative burst simultaneously in neutrophils and monocytes should be very useful in further studies on the importance of factors such as complement and IgG receptors for the killing of bacteria.  相似文献

Neonatal mice delivered from mothers preimmunized with heated or formalinized whole cell vaccines of type Ia, Ia/c and III/c group B streptococci were infected with each type of bacteria, and then serum antibodies of mothers and neonates who survived the experiments were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The relationship between the protectivity in neonate mice and the antibody titers to the type specific polysaccharide antigens and the protein c antigen of their sera were examined. In the Ia-immunized group which showed high protection against the type Ia infection, anti-Ia IgG antibody titers were low, and anti-protein c IgG antibody was not detected. Type Ia/c and III/c vaccines were highly effective against both type Ia/c and III/c infection, but less effective in type Ia infection. The protein c antigen was identified in both type strains by the double diffusion assay, and the IgG antibodies to the protein c were significantly high in sera of both maternal mice immunized with types Ia/c or III/c organisms and their newborn infants. High titers of the protein c IgG antibody retained 3 to 4 weeks after the last injection of vaccines which corresponded to the period of pregnancy and lactation. Small amounts of IgM antibody to all antigens were detected only in maternal sera. These results suggest that IgG antibodies to the protein c antigen and to the type-specific polysaccharide antigens are equally important protective factors which are transferable from preimmunized mothers to their newborn infants through placenta and/or lactation.  相似文献

The role of surface-bound type Ia group B Streptococcus (GBS) capsular polysaccharide in antibody-independent binding of C1 and activation of the classic complement pathway was investigated. In a radiolabeled bacterial-polymorphonuclear leukocyte (PMN) association assay, a measure of bacterial opsonization, preincubation of 3H-type Ia GBS with purified F(ab')2 to the organism blocked the association of the bacteria with PMN', and the inhibitory effect was dose dependent. The specificity of F(ab')2 blocking was shown after adsorption of F(ab')2 with type Ia polysaccharide-sensitized erythrocytes. Polysaccharide-adsorbed F(ab')2 had a 70% decrease in ability to block the association of bacteria with PMN. Evidence for the requirement of the capsular polysaccharide in classic complement pathway activation came from a C1 transfer assay with the use of neuraminidase-digested type Ia GBS. Neuraminidase digestion removed 80% of the terminal sialic acid residues from the native polysaccharide. These neuraminidase-digested organisms had a 72% decrease in binding and transfer of purified C1 compared with non-enzyme-treated organisms. Type Ia capsular polysaccharide bound to sheep erythrocytes promoted classic complement pathway-mediated hemolysis of the cells. The role of C1 inhibitor (INH) in modulation of C1 activation by the organisms was investigated. The possibility existed that the C1 INH could be bound by the bacteria, allowing C1 activation to occur in the fluid phase. The inhibitor was purified from human serum, and its activity was measured before and after incubation with type Ia GBS. The organisms had no effect on C1 INH activity. Thus surface-bound capsular polysaccharide of type Ia GBS mediates C1 binding and classic pathway activation, and this does not involve the C1 INH.  相似文献

Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is able to bind to human macrophages in vitro in the absence of exogenous opsonins. The exact mechanisms that mediate this attachment are unclear. This study was undertaken to determine what protein adhesins are present on the surface of GBS that mediate attachment to macrophages. We have identified a 21-kDa protein from the envelope of GBS type III that directly binds to macrophages as determined by Western blot analysis. Antiserum against this protein was able to inhibit binding of GBS to macrophages by greater than 80% as measured by flow cytometry. Antiserum against the 21-kDa protein cross-reacted with 21-kDa proteins from GBS type Ib, type II, type III (COH31 and MR732) and type IV, as well as Staphylococcus epidermidis , but not GBS type Ia, Listeria monocytogenes or Enterococcus faecalis . This protein may be important in mediating the attachment of GBS to macrophages in an opsonin-poor environment.  相似文献

The influence of dimethyl sulphoxide (I), penicillin/streptomycin (II), gentamicin (III), and amphotericin B (IV) on growing human T-lymphoma cells was measured by microcalorimetry. There was a dose-dependent decrease in the heat production rate of the cells after 24 h of incubation with I in concentrations ranging from 0-2% (v/v). At 3.6%, about half of the cells died. II and III had no effect on the cells after incubation for 6 days, at concentrations from 1 to 10 times that of the normal (50-500 IU/ml; 50-500 micrograms/ml). IV was used in combination with II (50 IU/ml; 50 micrograms/ml) and III (50 micrograms/ml), respectively, at concentrations between 0.25 and 7.5 micrograms/ml. After 6 days of incubation, the results were similar to those obtained with II and III separately.  相似文献

A quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure the concentration of fluid-phase complement C5b-9 complexes (SC5b-9) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of 14 patients with acute monophasic Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), 21 patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), and 11 patients with noninflammatory central nervous system (CNS) diseases. SC5b-9 complexes were detected in the CSF of 13 of 14 patients with acute GBS (mean, 3.08 micrograms/ml; range, 0 to 7.1 micrograms/ml) and 16 of 21 patients with MS (mean, 1.83 micrograms/ml; range, 0 to 7.5 micrograms/ml). In the control group of patients with noninflammatory CNS diseases, SC5b-9 was not detected in eight of 11 and was present in low concentrations in the remaining three patients (mean, 0.28 micrograms/ml; range, 0 to 1.7 micrograms/ml). The finding of SC5b-9 complexes in the CSF of patients with GBS and MS suggests that terminal complement components may participate in the tissue-damaging processes in these diseases.  相似文献

The opsonic requirements for phagocytosis of S. pneumoniae types 6, 7, 18, and 23 were determined in normal and C2 deficient serum, and in normal serum chelated with magnesium ethyleneglycoltetraacetic acid. All four strains were effectively opsonized via the alternative complement pathway, a finding suggesting that the capsular polysaccharides of these strains activated complement via the alternative pathway. Since bacteremic pneumococcal disease is often associated with circulating capsular polysaccharide, it was considered that this cellular component may activate complement in vivo and impair host defenses by producing an opsonic defect for pneumococci. To examine this hypothesis, serum was incubated with suspensions of whole S. pneumoniae types 6, 7, 18, or 23 or with purified capsular polysaccharide from each of these types, and residual complement activity and opsonic capacity were measured. Hemolytic C 3--9 complement activity and opsonic capacity for 3H-thymidine labeled Salmonella typhimurium, a species effectively opsonized via the alternative pathway, were reduced in serum following incubation. Polysaccharide concentrations as low as 1 microgram/ml inhibited serum opsonic capacity for salmonella. Whole pneumococci and pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide also inhibited the opsonic activity of human C2 deficient serum for salmonella, further evidence for activation of complement via the alternative pathway. Pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide markedly inhibited the opsonic capacity of normal serum for the homologous pneumoccal type. Thus, amounts of pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide, similar to those found in the serum of patients with pneumococcal disease, bring about decomplementation of serum via activation of the alternative pathway and inhibit pneumococcal opsonization.  相似文献

Serotype III group B streptococci (GBS) are a common cause of neonatal sepsis and meningitis. Although deficiency in maternal capsular polysaccharide (CPS)-specific IgG correlates with susceptibility of neonates to the GBS infection, serum deficient in CPS-specific IgG mediates significant opsonophagocytosis. This IgG-independent opsonophagocytosis requires activation of the complement pathway, a process requiring the presence of both Ca(2+) and Mg(2+), and is significantly reduced by chelating Ca(2+) with EGTA. In these studies, we defined a role of L-ficolin/mannose-binding lectin-associated serine protease (MASP) complexes in Ca(2+)-dependent, Ab-independent opsonophagocytosis of serotype III GBS. Incubation of GBS with affinity-purified L-ficolin/MASP complexes and C1q-depleted serum deficient in CPS-specific Ab supported opsonophagocytic killing, and this killing was inhibited by fluid-phase N-acetylglucosamine, the ligand for L-ficolin. Binding of L-ficolin was proportional to the CPS content of individual strains, and opsonophagocytic killing and C4 activation were inhibited by fluid-phase CPS, suggesting that L-ficolin binds to CPS. Sialic acid is known to inhibit alternative complement pathway activation, and, as expected, the bactericidal index (percentage of bacteria killed) for individual strains was inversely proportional to the sialic acid content of the CPS, and L-ficolin-initiated opsonophagocytic killing was significantly increased by addition of CPS-specific IgG2, which increased activation of the alternative pathway. We conclude that binding of L-ficolin/MASP complexes to the CPS generates C3 convertase C4b2a, which deposits C3b on GBS. C3b deposited by this lectin pathway forms alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb whose activity is enhanced by CPS-specific IgG2, leading to increased opsonophagocytic killing by further deposition of C3b on the GBS.  相似文献

In vitro stimulation of human lymphocytes were studied in connection with cell fusion. When splenic lymphocytes were stimulated with human cytomegalovirus (CMV), they produced IgG but not IgM antibody against CMV. The stimulation with 50 ng/ml of CMV antigen induced the maximum antibody response, and higher concentrations of CMV antigen decreased antibody response and increased nonspecific IgG production. Human splenic lymphocytes were stimulated for 6 days with CMV antigen (50 ng/ml) and/or B-cell growth factor (BCGF), and then fused with mouse myeloma cells. Stimulation with a combination of antigen and BCGF were able to generate CMV-specific hybridomas synergistically. Two of these hybridomas were cloned by limiting dilution. The human monoclonal antibodies produced by them, C1 and C23, bound to CMV but not to other herpesviruses. C23 neutralized virus infectivity C1 did not at all. This method for generation of hybridomas producing human monoclonal antibodies against a predefined antigen may be applicable to a variety of viral antigens.  相似文献

By two independent techniques for separating human opsonic IgG for group A type 6 streptococci into fast- and slow-migrating fractions, it was found that the opsonic activity was localized within the basic charge population. This charge dependence was found to be a characteristic of the IgG isolated from three individuals. When the fast- and slow-migrating IgG fractions were tested for their ability to bind to purified M6 protein, antibodies in both opsonic and nonopsonic populations exhibited binding activity, with the majority being located within the opsonic IgG in two of the three individuals; the third displayed greater binding in the nonopsonic population. The functional difference observed in the antibody populations to this M antigen may be a reflection of the net charge within the area of the antibody binding site, which suggests that the opsonic antibodies need to bind to acidic residues along the outer surface of the fibrillar M protein molecule. F(ab')2 fragments prepared from both human and rabbit type 6 opsonic IgG were still able to bind to the M6 molecule but were unable to mediate opsonization of type 6 streptococci. However, the F(ab')2 fragments had the capacity to enhance or amplify the opsonic activity of low concentrations of opsonic IgG molecules. The results suggest that the M protein molecule may function as an active inhibitor of phagocytosis and that F(ab')2 fragments from opsonic IgG have the capacity to neutralize the "active" determinants on the molecule, thus allowing lower concentrations of IgG with functional Fc receptors to mediate phagocytosis.  相似文献

In this paper an in vitro culture system for the induction of an antibody response to the Haemophilus influenzae type b polysaccharide (PRP) is described. Anti-PRP IgM and IgG antibody-secreting cells (ASC) and anti-diphtheria toxoid (DT) IgG ASC were detected in cultures of blood B and T cells derived from donors 4 to 6 wk after immunization with Haemophilus influenzae type b oligosaccharide-mutant diphtheria toxin (CRM197) conjugate (HbOC) and required in vitro restimulation with HbOC. When lymphocytes from HbOC-vaccinated donors were stimulated with PRP, anti-PRP IgM and IgG ASC could be detected in 50% offGe cases. Lymphocytes from PRP-vaccinated donors or non-vaccinated donors consistently failed to generate anti-PRP antibodies after in vitro stimulation with HbOC. Optimal in vitro responses were observed at concentrations of 0.06 to 0.6 micrograms/ml of Ag. At higher doses of Ag (6 micrograms/ml) anti-PRP and anti-DT antibody responses were suppressed. The in vitro generation of anti-PRP and anti-DT ASC, as detected by a spot-forming cell assay was shown to be T cell dependent, Ag dependent, and Ag specific. This culture system provides a model for the study of human B cell activation and immunoregulation by polysaccharide-protein conjugates and polysaccharides.  相似文献

Sodium polyanetholsulfonate (SPS) at 7.8 mug/ml completely abolished complement-mediated hemolysis of 1:10 diluted fresh guinea pig and human serum; at least twice as much SPS was required to reduce complement activity in 1:2 diluted human serum. The coagulation of 90 and 20% human blood was inhibited by 250 and 125 mug of SPS per ml, respectively. When added to fresh human serum, SPS precipitated beta 1C-globulin (C3), C4, beta lipoproteins, immunoglobulin IgG, IgM, and IgA, though incompletely.  相似文献

Bacterial polysaccharides (PS) are type 2 T-independent Ags that elicit Abs restricted in isotype to IgM and predominantly IgG2 in humans and IgM, and IgG3 in mice. Humans with IgG2 subclass deficiency are susceptible to sinus and pulmonary infections with PS-encapsulated bacteria. We previously developed an IgG3-deficient mouse by disrupting the gamma3 H chain constant region gene via targeted mutagenesis. Mutant mice lacking IgG3 were backcrossed for 10 generations to wild-type (WT) BALB/c mice to generate BALB/c mice that have complete absence of IgG3. WT mice immunized with type 3 Streptococcus pneumoniae capsular PS made anti-PS IgM, IgG3, and small quantities of IgG1, which opsonized S. pneumoniae for killing by polymorphonuclear leukocytes. These mice were protected against death from lethal doses of type 3 S. pneumoniae. In contrast, IgG3(-/-) mice made similar titers of anti-PS IgM and IgG1 as WT mice but no IgG3, and had poorly opsonic sera with significantly increased mortality after S. pneumoniae challenge. Immunization of IgG3(-/-) mice with type 3 S. pneumoniae PS conjugated to carrier protein CRM(197)-elicited IgM and high-titer IgG1 Abs, restored serum opsonization, and gave protection from mortality after S. pneumoniae, challenge comparable to WT mice. We conclude that mice lacking the dominant IgG3 subclass made to bacterial PS are more susceptible to fatal S. pneumoniae sepsis than WT mice, but that IgG1 induced by a S. pneumoniae glycoconjugate can adequately protect against S. pneumoniae sepsis. This model suggests that IgG subclass of anti-PS Ab is an important component of immunity to encapsulated bacteria.  相似文献

Preparative free flow isotachophoresis (ITP) was used for the fractionation of apoB-containing lipoproteins (d less than 1.063 g/ml) from fasting and postprandial sera derived from normolipidemic individuals. According to their net electric mobility, four major particle groups (I-IV) have been recognized. The fast-migrating particles in group I, which correspond predominantly to very low density lipoproteins (VLDL), are rich in triglycerides, free cholesterol, phosphatidylcholine, and apoE and C apolipoproteins. This group expresses nonspecific binding to fibroblasts but binds to HepG2 cells with high affinity (KD = 3.6 micrograms/ml, Bmax = 37 ng) to a single class of binding sites. The particles migrating in group II, which are related to intermediate density lipoproteins (IDL), are richer in cholesteryl esters and apoB than those in group I. They interact specifically with a single site on fibroblasts (KD = 7.8 micrograms/ml, Bmax = 54 ng) while on HepG2 cells two binding sites, one with a higher (KD = 3.5 micrograms/ml, Bmax = 22 ng) and one with a lower affinity component (KD = 16.9 micrograms/ml, Bmax = 53 ng), are involved. The particles migrating in groups III and IV correspond to low density lipoproteins (LDL). The protein moiety of both fractions consists almost exclusively of apoB. Group III represents cholesteryl ester-rich LDL particles, while the particles in group IV contain smaller amounts of cholesteryl esters. The lipoproteins of both groups are ligands for apoB,E-receptors. However, the particles in group IV interact with fibroblasts with the highest affinity (KD = 2.3 micrograms/ml, Bmax = 58 ng) and with the biphasic HepG2 cell binding sites with the lowest affinity of all analyzed groups (KD1 = 11.2 micrograms/ml, Bmax1 = 58 ng, KD2 = 68 micrograms/ml, Bmax2 = 170 ng). When apoB-containing lipoproteins were isolated from postprandial sera of the same individuals, significant changes in the lipid composition were observed only in particle groups I and II, where the triglyceride and phospholipid content was enhanced. Group I particles from postprandial serum bind to HepG2 cells with a higher affinity (KD = 2.5 micrograms/ml) than group I particles from fasting serum. Postprandial group II particles bind with the same affinity to the biphasic HepG2 cell receptor as fasting group II particles, while the affinities of postprandial group III (KD1 = 4.1 micrograms/ml, KD1 = 47 micrograms/ml) and group IV particles (KD1 = 3.9 micrograms/ml, KD2 = 38 micrograms/ml) to the high affinity binding site of the biphasic receptor are enhanced.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 400 WORDS)  相似文献
