Optical rotatory dispersion measurements were made on the deoxyribo nucleotides d(pA)2, d(pA)4, d(pA)6 and poly(deoxyriboadenylic acid) at neutral pH over the temperature range 5–80°C. and were compared to similar data for the analogous oligoriboadenylic acids. The data were interpreted in terms of a temperature-dependent stacking of the bases in the single-strand deoxyribo oligomers. The thermal transition curves show an inverted chain-length dependence compared to the ribo oligomer curves. These results are explained by a theory of anti-cooperative interaction, where the nucleation parameter σ is >1. The theory, based on a one-dimensional Ising model involving both attractive nearest-neighbor and repulsive next-nearest-neighbor interactions, predicts the inverse chain length dependence and agrees rather well with the experimental data. At and above the transition temperature, the deoxyribo polymer is seen to consist of isolated stacked base pairs separated by at least one unit of random coil, there being only a very small probability for the existence of sequences of stacked residues longer than one. The partition function is seen to undergo an irregular behavior as a function of chain length because of the anti-cooperative phenomenon. It is necessary to use an enthalpy of stacking of ?5.0 kcal./mole in order to fit the experimental data with the theory. This value, 1.5 kcal./mole more positive than the ΔH found for the ribo oligomers, is reasonable, since the 2′ hydroxyl group would be expected to stabilize the stacking interaction in the ribo oligomers. Various kinds of distribution functions are calculated and plotted graphically for this theoretical model. A physical rationale is presented for the use of a repulsive next-nearest-neighbor term in this theory for the deoxyribo oligomers.  相似文献

Absorbance-temperature profiles have been determined for the following self-complementary oligonucleotides or equimolar paris of complementary oligonucleotides containing GC base pairs: A2GCU2, A3GCU3, A4GCU4, A6CG + CGU6, A8CG + CGU8, A4G2 + C2U4, A5G2 + C2U5, A4G3 + C3U4, and A5G3 + C3U5. In all cases cooperative melting transitions indicate double-helix formation. As was found previously, the stability of GC containing oligomer helices is much higher than that of AU helices of corresponding length. Moreover, helices with the same length and base composition but different sequences also have quite different stabilites. The melting curves were andlyzed using a zipper model and the thermodynamic parameters for the AU pairs determined previously. The effect of single-strand stacking was considered separately. According to this model, the formation of a GC pair from unstacked single strands is associated with an ethalpy change of ?15 kcal/mole. Due to the high degree of single-strand stacking at room temperature the enthalpy change for the formation of GC pairs from unstacked single strands is only ?5 to ?6 kcal/mole. (The corresponding parameters for AU pairs are ?10.7 kcal/mole and ?5 to ?6 kcal/mole.) The sequence dependence of helix stability seems to be primarily entropic since no differences in ΔH were seen among the sequence isomers. The kinetics of helix formation was investigated for the same molecules using the temperature jump technique. Recombination of strands is second order with rate constants in the range of 105 to 107M?1 sec?1 depending on the chain length and the nucleotide sequence. Within a series of oligomers of a given type, the rates of recombination decrease with increasing chain length. Oligomers with the sequence AnGCUn recombine six to eight times slower than the other oligomers of corresponding chain length. The experimental enthalpies of activation of 6 to 9 kcal/mole suggest a nucleation length of one or two GC base pairs. The helix dissociation process has rate constants between 0.5 and 500 sec?1 and enthalpies of activation of 25 to 50 kcal/mole. An increase of chain length within a given nucleotide series leads to decreased rates of dissociation and increased enthalpies of activation. An investigation of the effect of ionic strength on AnGCUn helix formation showed that the rates of recombination increase considerably with increased ionic strength.  相似文献

The enthalpies of the helix-coil transitions of the ordered polynucleotide systems of poly(inosinic acid)–poly(cytidylic acid) [poly(I + C)], (helical duplex), and of poly (inosinic acid) [poly(I + I + I)], (proposed secondary structure: a triple-stranded helical complex), were determined by using an adiabatic twin-vessel differential calorimeter. Measuring the temperature course of the heat capacity of the aqueous polymer solutions, the enthalpy values for the dissociation of the helical duplex poly (I + C) and the three-stranded helical complex poly(I + 1 + 1), respectively, were obtained by evaluating the additional heat capacity involved in the conformational change of the polynucleotide system in the transition range. The ΔH values of the helix-coil transition of poly (I + C) resulting from the analysis of the calorimetric measurements vary between the limits 6.5 ± 0.4 kcal/mole (I + C) and 8.4 ± 0.4 kcal/mole (I + C). depending on the variation of the cation concentration ranging from 0.063 mole cations kg H2O to 1.003 mole cations/kg H2O. The calorimetric investigation of an aqueous poly I solution (cation concentration 1.0 mole/kg H2O) yielded the enthalpy value ΔH = 1.9 ± 0.4 kcal/mole (I), a result which has been interpreted qualitatively following current models of inter- and intramolecular forces of biologically significant macromolecules. Additional information on the transition behavior of poly(I+ C)Was obtained by ultraviolet and infrared absorption measurements.  相似文献

The thermodynamic parameters for the double-strand formation of the molecules rCAmG + rCUnG, m,n = 5–7, and dCAmG + dCTnG, m,n = 5,6, were measured from optical melting curves. Normal helices are formed when m = n. The deoxyoligomers are more stable than the ribo-oligomers, due to a more favorable enthalpy. Double helices with mismatched bases can be formed by mixing oligomers with mn. Such helices may form several possible structures. A structure with a dangling base is favored over a structure with a bulged base. The destabilization of the double strands by the formation of a bulged base was determined to be greater than 1.6 kcal/mol at 10°C. The extent of aggregation in the oligomer double strand rCA7G·rCU7G was determined using ultracentrifugation equilibrium. The possible effects of aggregation on the determination of the thermodynamic parameters for double-strand formation are discussed.  相似文献

The cooperative nature of the binding between polycytidylate and the oligoinosinates I(pI)5–10 has been determined. Using the data of Tazawa, Tazawa, and Ts'o, it is shown that knowledge of the slope of the adsorption isothern allows one to determine the oligomer-polymer binidng constant, the oligomer–oligomer interaction constant, and the average degree of association (cooperative clustering) of the oligomers on the polymer. Knowledge of the above equilibrium constants as a function of temperature yields the respective thermodynamic parameters; no assumptions need to be made about the nature of the equilibrium constants or the thermodynamic parameters. For very long chains of polycytidylate, simple, explicit relations are given for the determination of the equilibrium constants involved. For finite chains of polycytidylate, the calculation of a single graph for each oligomer and polymer size allows the equilibrium constants to be determined for all experimental conditions of temperature and concentration. We find that the enthalpy and entropy of binding an oligomer n, bases to be δHn = ±13.7 ? n(6.65) and δSn = +32.5 ? n(18.8) given, respectively, in kcal/mole and e.u.; these parameters predict a melting temperature of 81°C for the poly(I)·poly(C) complex compared with the experimental value of 75°C. If the enthalpy is interpreted as arising from a sum of hydrogen bonding and stacking interactions, then the enthalpy of stacking is ?13.7 kcal/mole while the enthalpy of hydrogen bonding is +7 ± 4 kcal/mole; the positive enthalpy of hydrogen bonding presumably is a result of the fact that in the inosine-cytosine base pair, only two of the three sites on cytosine can hydrogen bond, the third being blocked from hydrogen bonding with water. The enthalpy of interaction between neighboring bound oligomers is found to be ?10.4 kcal/mole while the corresponding entropy is ?26.1 e.u. The binding is bound to be cooperative, though the extent of clustering varies markedly with temperature; the average number of oligomers in a cluster on the polymer is found to about five at a melting temperature of 25°C. The approach and equations given have generally applicability to oligomer-polymer associations.  相似文献

The helix-coil transitions for poly(L -glutamic acid) (PGA) in 0.2M NaCl and in its mixture with dioxane were studied by the methods of spectropolarimetry, viscometry, and potentiometric titration at different temperatures from 8 to 50°C. The enthalpy and entropy differences between the helical and coillike states of uncharged PGA molecules were determined from the curves of potentiometric titration. The temperature dependence of the cooperativity parameter σ was determined by two methods: from the sharpness of transition and from the dependence of the intrinsic viscosity on the helical content in the transition region. In 0.2MNaCl, σ= (2.5 ± 0.5) × 10?3 and practically does not depend on temperature, i.e., the cooperativity of the helix-coil transition is connected mainly with the entropy decrease in initiating helical regions (ΔSi ≈ ?12 is mole of helical regions). On the contrary, initiation of a helical region in the water-organic solvent mixture is accompanied by a considerable enthalpy increase.  相似文献

The double-helical complex formed from m6m9A and poly U has been characterized by circular dichroism and u.v. spectrophotometry. The circular dichroism of the complex is similar to that of the double-helical poly A poly U complex both in shape and in magnitude and thus indicates a quite similar structure. The double Helix–coil transition has been studied at various nucleotide concentrations and at three different ionic strengths. As expected for the binding of a base to a polymer, the Helix–coil transition is shifted to higher temperatures by increasing nucleotide concentrations, but is not affected by changes of the ionic strength. The melting curves are analyzed according to a linear Ising model taking the stacking of the monomers into account. At 0°C the equilibrium constant for nucleation is found to be 2–5 M?1 and that for chain growth is 500 M?1. The enthalpy change associated with chain growth is ?11.2 ± 1 kcal M?1.  相似文献

The single-strand helix-coil transition in various oligo- and polyadenylates is characterized by means of an improved cable temperature-jump technique. In all the polymers studied {poly(rA), poly(dA), poly[A(m2′)] and poly[A(e2′)]} helix-coil relaxation is observed in the time range from 30 to 1000 nsec. Relaxation-time constants observed at wavelengths λ<280 nm (τα) are different from those found at λ >280 nm (τβ), indicating the presence of more than two conformational states. The time constants τα increase in the series poly(dA), poly[A(m2′)], constants τβα is approximately 2.5, except in poly(dA) where τβα ≈ 9. Relaxation measurements with r(A)n- oligomers show a decrease in conformational mobility with increasing chain length. The relaxation curves also demonstrate that “internal” residues have lower reaction rates than residues at the ends of the oligomer chain. Measurement in D2O reveal a solvent isotope effect for τα of +87% for poly(rA), and of +53% for poly(dA), whereas no isotope effect is found in τβ. The absence of “slow” relaxation processes in the model compound 9,9′ -trimethylenebisadenine shows that the relatively low rate of the single-strand helix-coil transitions is due to the coupling of base stacking with the folding of the sugar–phosphate chain. The absence of a seprate relaxation process (corresponding to τβ) in 9,9′-trimethylenebisadenine, as well as in the dinucleotides ApC and CpA, suggests that this relaxation process is dependent upon the presence of both the sugar–phosphate chain and of adjacent adenine bases. The experimental data provide evidence that there is more than one ordered conformation in various single-stranded oligo- and polyadenylates and that the transition between these conformations is influenced by the sugar conformation.  相似文献

Helix–coil transition curves are calculated for poly (dA) poly(dT) and poly (dA-dT) poly (dA-dT) using the integral equation approach of Goel and Montroll.5 The transitions are described by the loop entropy model with the exponent of the loop entropy factor, k, remaining an arbitrary constant. The theoretical calculations are compared with experimental transition curves of the two polymers. Results indicate that the stacking energies for these two polymers differ by about 1 kcal/mole of base pairs. Also, a fit between theory and experiment was not possible for k > 1.70.  相似文献

Abstract

Using Raman spectroscopy, we examined the ribose-phosphate backbone conformation, the hydrogen bonding interactions, and the stacking of the bases of the poly(U)·poly(A) ·poly(U) triple helix. We compared the Raman spectra of poly(U)·poly(A)·poly(U) in H2O and D2O with those obtained for single-stranded poly(A) and poly(U) and for double-stranded poly(A)·poly(U). The presence of a Raman band at 863 cm?1 indicated that the backbone conformations of the two poly(U) chains are different in the triple helix. The sugar conformation of the poly(U) chain held to the poly(A) by Watson-Crick base pairing is C3′ endo; that of the second poly(U) chain may be C2′ endo. Raman hypochromism of the bands associated with base vibrations demonstrated that uracil residues stack to the same extent in double helical poly(A)·poly(U) and in the triple-stranded structure. An increase in the Raman hypochromism of the bands associated with adenine bases indicated that the stacking of adenine residues is greater in the triple helix than in the double helical form. Our data further suggest that the environment of the carbonyls of the uracil residues is different for the different strands.  相似文献

The ability of oligodesoxyribonucleotides of various chain lengths to form complexes has been compared with that of oligoribonucleotides. Four series of oligonucleotidcs were prepared and investigated, i.e., dCn at acid pH versus rCn, dAn and dTn versus. rAn and rUn at neutral pH. The results indicate that in dilute solution, the formation of complexes is greatly facilitated in the case of desoxyoligomers and occurs for shorter oligomere than in the corresponding ribooligomers. The spectrophotometric titration of deoxyribooligo C indicates the appearance of two pK values in the 4–5 pH region characteristic of the double-stranded form, which occurs for much shorter dCn than rCn. The circular dichroism (CD.) spectra of deoxycytidylies in dilute solution starting from the trimer are conservative, characteristic of the double-stranded helical form of poly C at acid pH. In contrast, the CD spectra of a series of corresponding ribo Cn, under identical conditions is of nonconservative character similar to that of the single-stranded form of poly C at neutral pH, but differs in the band position. This spectrum is called intermediate. Only at higher concentrations of oligonucleotidcs (i.e., 10?3Minstead of 10?4M) does the circular dichroism spectrum of longer ribocytidylics assume conservative character. Thermal denaturation of deoxycytidylces at acid pH are strongly dependent on chain length and concentration, its one would expect for a cooperative helix-coil transition. The circular dichroism spectra measured at different temperatures shows one isosbestic point. In dilute solution, the standard-state enthalpy change found was 5–6 kcal/mole for higher oligomers (dC7). These properties are all in agreement with a structural transition from the d-Cn double-stranded form to a coil for n > 3. Studies of dAn and dTn in solutions of high ionic strength at low temperature indicate that complex formation occurs already at the level of trimer and for high oligomers. Under identical conditions a complex between rAn and rUn is detected only for oligomers longer than the hexamer. The nature of the “intermediate” form of oligoribo C at acid pH and low temperature was investigated by sedimentation and circular dichroism. A model of rCn is proposed of linear molecules which are partially double-stranded and partially single-stranded, which probably are slowly rearranged by “slippage” into a regular-double-stranded helical form.  相似文献

The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the helix-coil transition temperature (Tm) was measured for the DNA oligomers (dA)n(dT)n, where n = 11, 15, and 19, in 50 mM NaCl. The data were analyzed in light of previously published data for the polymer, poly(dA)·poly(dT) under the same conditions. As has been observed for DNA polymers, increasing the hydrostatic pressure led to an increase in the Tm of the oligomers; however, the effect of pressure diminished with decreasing chain length. The value of dTm/dP decreased linearly with the inverse of the chain length varying from 3.15 × 10−2°C MPa−1 for the polymer to 0.7 × 10−2°C MPa−1 for the 11-mer. The two-state or van't Hoff enthalpy (ΔHvH) of the helix-coil transition was obtained by analysis of the half-width of the thermal transition. As expected, ΔHvH decreases with decreasing chain length. In contrast to the behavior of the polymer, poly(dA)·poly(dT), and (dA)19(dT)19, the ΔHvH of the two shorter duplex oligonucleotides displayed a small pressure dependence dΔHvH/dP≃−0.4 kJ MPa−1 in both cases. The changes observed in the Tm and ΔHvH were not sufficient to explain the magnitude of the chain-length dependence of the pressure effect. To interpret the large chain-length dependence of dTm/dP, we propose that the terminal base pairs contribute a negative volume change to the helix-coil transition. Base pairs distant from the ends exhibit behavior characterized by the polymer where end effects are assumed to be negligible, i.e., a positive volume change for the helix-coil transition. The negative volume change of separating terminal bases may originate from the imperfect interactions these base pairs form with water due to the existence of several energetically equivalent conformations. This is reminiscent of one of the mechanisms proposed to be important in the pressure-induced dissociation of multimeric proteins into their constituent subunits. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The collagen-like peptides (L -Pro-L -Pro-Gly)n and (L -Pro-L -Hyp-Gly)n with n = 5 and 10, were examined in terms of their triple helix ? coil transitions in aqueous and nonaqueous solvents. The peptides were soluble in 1,2-propanediol containing 3% acetic acid and they were found to form triple-helical structures in this solvent system. The water content of the solvent system and the amount of water bound to the peptides were assayed by equilibrating the solvent with molecular sieves and carrying out Karl Fischer titrations on the solvent phase. After the solvent was dehydrated, much less than one molecule of water per tripeptide unit was bound to the peptides. Since the peptides remained in a triple-helical conformation, the results indicated that water was not an essential component of the triple-helical structure. Comparison of peptides with the same chain length demonstrated that the presence of hydroxyproline increased the thermal stability of the triple helix even under anhydrous conditions. The results, therefore, did not support recent hypotheses that hydroxyproline stabilizes the triple helix of collagen and collagen-like peptides by a specific interaction with water molecules. Analysis of the thermal transition curves in several solvent systems showed that although the peptides containing hydroxyproline had tm values which were 18.6° to 32.7°C higher, the effect of hydroxyproline on ΔG was only 0.1 to 0.3 kcal per tripeptide unit at 25°C. The results suggested, therefore, that the influence of hydroxyproline on helical stability may be explained by intrinsic effects such as dipole–dipole interactions or by changes in the solvation of the peptides by alcohol, acetic acid, and water. A direct calorimetric measurement of the transition enthalpy for (L -Pro-L -Pro-Gly)n in 3% or 10% acetic acid gave a value of ?1.84 kcal per tripeptide unit for the coil-to-helix transition. From the value for enthalpy and from data on the effects of different chain lengths on the thermal transition, it was calculated that the apparent free energy for nucleation was +5 kcal/mol at 25°C (apparent nucleation parameter = 2 × 10?4 M?2). The value was dependent on solvent and on chemical modification of end groups.  相似文献

The interaction between poly C and (Gp)nG(n = 1,2) in dilute solution was investigated spectrophotometrically in 0.1M phosphate buffer pH 7.2 under conditions unfavorable for the formation of self-associated complexes of oligoguanylic acids. Two isosbestic points were observed when poly C was titrated gradually with GpGpG, one at 232–233 mμ(in the range of 0–33% poly C) and one around 238 mμ (in the range of 50–100% poly C). The melting temperature (Tm) of the 1:1 poly C: (Gp)nG complexes (n = 1,2) of varying concentration were determined. The equilibrium properties of the 1:1 complexes can be described by two interaction parameters, namely, (i) cooperative stacking interaction between the first nearest neighbor of the adsorbed oligomer, and (ii) intrinsic association constant of the adsorbed oligomer with its polymeric site, since the cooperative helix–coil transition particularly in the smaller oligonucleotide can be described by an “all or none” model. Based on such a model the enthalpy of stacking inteaction-dependent Tm values yielded directly the sum of the enthalpy of stacking interaction and of basepairing (which is dependent on the chain length of the oligomer) and the value of S, the stability constant of a G–C pair within a helix. The enthalpy of formation of G–C pair is then calculated as ?6.3 kcal/base pair either from the chain length dependent enthalpy term or from the temperature coefficient of S values. From the S value and the association constant of 1:1 GpGpGpC:GpCpCpC complex, other thermodynamic parameters such as nucleation parameter (β) and free energy of stacking interaction can be obtained.  相似文献

The Zimm-Bragg theory is extended to treat the melting of the triple helix poly (A + 2U) for a solution with a 1 : 2 mole ratio of poly A to poly U. Only the case for long chains is considered. For a given set of parameters the theory predicts the fraction of segments in the triple helix, double helix, and random coil states as a function of temperature. Four nucleation parameters are introduced to describe the two order–disorder transitions (poly (A + 2U) ? poly A + 2 poly U and poly (A + U) ? poly A + poly U) and the single order–order transition (poly (A + 2U) ? poly (A + U) + poly U). A relation between the nucleation parameters is obtained which reduces the number of independent parameters to three. A method for determining these parameters from experiment is presented. From the previously published data of Blake, Massoulié and Fresco8 for [Na+] = 0.04, we find σT = 6.0 × 10?4, σD = 1.0 × 10?3, and σσ* = 1.5 × 10?3. σT and σD are the nucleation parameters for nucleating a triple helix and double helix, respectively, from a random coil region. σσ* is the nucleation parameter for nucleating a triple helix from a double helix and a single strand. Melting curves are generated from the theory and compared with the experimental melting curves.  相似文献

The helix–coil transition of a Z-helix hairpin formed from d(C-G)5T4(C-G)5 has been characterized by equilibrium melting and temperature jump experiments in 5M NaClO4 and 10 mM Na2HPO4, pH 7.0. The melting curve can be represented by a simple all-or-none transition with a midpoint at 81.6 ± 0.4°C and an enthalpy change of 287 ± 15 kJ/mole. The temperature jump relaxation can be described by single exponentials at a reasonable accuracy. Amplitudes measured as a function of temperature provide equilibrium parameters consistent with those derived from equilibrium melting curves. The rate constants of Z-helix formation are found in the range from 1800 s?1 at 70°C to 800 s?1 at 90°C and are associated with an activation enthalpy of ?(50 ± 10) kJ/mole, whereas the rate constants of helix dissociation are found in the range from 200 s?1 at 70°C to 4500 s?1 at 90°C with an activation enthalpy +235 kJ/mole. These parameters are consistent with a requirement of 3–4 base pairs for helix nucleation. Apparently nucleation occurs in the Z-helix conformation, because a separate slow step corresponding to a B to Z transition has not been observed. In summary, the dynamics of the Z-helix–coil transition is very similar to that of previously investigated right-handed double helices.  相似文献

The interaction of the oligonucleotides ApA, ApApA, ApApC and ApApU with poly(U) and (Ip)5I and (Ip)6 with poly(C) has been studied by means of equilibrium gelfiltration through Sephadex.From sorption isotherms the free energies, energies and entropies of complexing have been computed for different concentrations of magnesium ions in the medium.The stoichiometric ratio of polymers to oligomers has been measured and found equal to 2 in the case of ApApA and ApApC. This shows that the cytidylic acid residue is included in the ternary complex. But in the case of ApApU the noncomplementary base is partly squeezed out of the complex.The stacking free energy of neighbouring oligomers has been found to be in the range 1000–3000 calmole depending on the conditions.The stoichimetric ratio has been found to be 1 in the case of poly(C): oligo(I), the stacking energy is equal to 1.2 kcalmole. The effect of magnesium is somewhat different in the case of double and triple helices and probably reflects the formation of coordination compounds with the nitrogen bases of nucleotides.  相似文献

The helix–coil transitions for poly-L -lysine (PL) were investigated by the methods of spectropolarimetry, viscometry and potentiometric titration in 0.2M NaCl at different temperatures as well as in 0.2MNaBr, 1MKCl, and in mixtures of 0.2MNaCl or NaBr with methanol at room temperature. The enthalpy and entropy differences between the helical and coillike states of uncharged PL molecules in 0.2.M NaCl were determined from the potentiometric titration curves. The cooperativity parameters σ for PL in different solvents were determined by two methods (from the sharpness of the transition and from the dependence of the intrinsic viscosity on the helical content in the transition region). In 0.2MNaCl σ has a value of (2.3 ± 0.5) × 10?4 and does not depend on temperature, i.e., the cooperativity of the helix-coil transition, as for PGA, is mainly of an entropy origin (the initiating of the helical region is accompanied by the entropy decrease ΔSi = ?12 eu/mole of helical regions). A comparison of the obtained results for PGA and PL with the molecular theories of the helix-coil transitions shows that the role of dipole-dipole interactions of nonneighboring peptide groups is greatly overestimated in these theories, leading to a considerable enthalpy contribution to the free energy of initiating helical regions which is not observed in the experiment.  相似文献

The helix-coil transition temperature Tc of poly(γ-benzyl L -glutamate) in binary solvent mixtures of dichloroacetic acid and 1,4-dichlorobutane, 1-chlorooctane, or 1-chlorododecane have been measured. A treatment is presented with which the transition enthalpy can be calculated from the observed dependence of Tc on solvent composition. Results are compared with previously obtained calorimetric data. The underlying assumptions of the calculation are discussed.  相似文献

The structure of polyguanylic acid (poly G) at neutral pH has been studied by optical and calorimetrical methods. It can be shown that diverging from earlier findings Poly G reversibly undergoes a cooperative thermal transition. Thermal denaturation curves are recorded at 253 nm as a function of the sodium ion concentration. The denaturation enthalpy of poly G in dilute aqueous solution is determined to 2.2 kcal/mole g. It is concluded, that the part of the ordered poly G structure, which gives rise to a temperature dependent cooperative transition, arises from stacking interactions of adjacent bases in the single strand.  相似文献
