Summary  A synoptic revision is presented for the genus Dacryodes Vahl in Africa. The studies are based on examination of herbarium material. Eighteen species are recognised, including two not well known due to poor material. The new species Dacryodes villiersiana Onana is described and illustrated. The conservation status of the species is discussed following the categories and criteria of IUCN (2001).  相似文献

记述采自新疆地区网翅蝗科雏蝗属 Chorthippus 短翅亚属1新种,即果子沟雏蝗 Chorthippus (Altichorthippus) guozigouensis sp. nov.。新种近似于姜氏雏蝗Ch. charpini Chang, 1939 与积石山雏蝗 Ch. jishishanensis Zheng et Xie, 2000。与后两者的主要区别为:♂头侧窝长为宽的3.00倍;♂触角短,刚不到达后足股节基部;♂前翅到达第7节腹节背板后缘,其前缘脉域宽为中脉域宽0.67倍,前后肘脉合并,肘脉域消失;♂后翅到达第7节腹节背板中部;尾须顶端到达肛上板长的一半,膝部与后足胫节端部棕色,非黑色。模式标本保存于陕西师范大学动物研究所标本室。  相似文献

A new species of Mylabris of the nominate subgenus is described and figured. This species is apparently endemic to the south-eastern Iranian province of Kerman and seems to be phenetically very distinct from all other species of this subgenus, primarily because of the unique elytral pattern. A new subgenus and species, Charidotella (Chapadacassis subgen. n.) paradoxa sp. n. is described and figured from the Chapada plateau in Mato Grosso, Brazil. Subgenera of Charidotella Weise, 1896 are listed, supplemented with basic data, diagnostic table, and a key is proposed. Based on a study of respective type material following new combinations are proposed: Charidotella (Philaspis) stulta (Boheman, 1855), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) amoenula (Boheman, 1855), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) cyclographa (Boheman, 1855), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) discoidalis (Boheman, 1855), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) incerta (Boheman, 1855), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) purpurea (Linnaeus, 1758), comb. n., Charidotella (Xenocassis) myops (Boheman, 1855), comb. n. 原簇毛黄耆亚属的部分种类从黄耆属中分出,在此基础上恢复了膨果豆属,由此也产生了许多新组合。其中,新组合蒺藜叶膨果豆包含了原蒺藜叶黄耆和甘青黄耆。为验证该分类处理的合理性,该文统计分析了蒺藜叶黄耆和甘青黄耆在果实形态上的差异,同时比较了二者的地理分布式样。结果表明:甘青黄耆和蒺藜叶黄耆之间存在着明显区别,甘青黄耆种级的分类学地位应予以保留,新组合为甘青膨果豆[Phyllolobium tangutica(Batalin)Y.Kang M.L.Zhang]。  相似文献

A new subgenus, Huaius n. subgen. of the genus Pterostichus, is described to deal with the following three new species of ground beetles which were recently discovered from limestone caves in Central China: Pterostichus (Huaius) caoi n. sp. (Cave Lijia Dong in Yichang, Hubei Province), Pterostichus (Huaius) tiankeng n. sp. (Cave Xigou Dong in Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province) and Pterostichus (Huaius) yuae n. sp. (Cave Didonghe Dong in Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province). This new subgenus is not closely allied to any lineage of Chinese Pterostichus. The pronotal structure of Huaius has the most peculiar morphological characteristics, lacking lateromarginal borders and without grooves on the portion of basal foveae. All members of Huaius are de-pigmented, almost blind and extremely troglomorphic. This is the first report of cave-adapted pterostichine beetles from Asia.  相似文献

Acanthosyris asipapote, a new species from the vicinity of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, is described and illustrated. It is most similar to A. paulo-alvinii Barroso, known only from the state of Bahia, Brazil, but differs by leaf characters, pilose filaments, and smaller seeds. A key to the five woody genera and nine species of Santalaceae in South America is provided. Cervantesia, Jodina, and Myoschilos are probably monotypic; Santalum (in South America) has a single species, and Acanthosyris has five species.  相似文献

记述中国蜾蠃属Eumenes Latreille 2新种:锈触蜾蠃E. ferrugiantennus sp. nov.和黑盾蜾蠃E. nigriscutatus sp. nov.。锈触蜾蠃E. ferrugiantennus与E. placens Nurse, 1903近似,但前者体覆锈红色斑点及大的刻点,腹部第2节背板中部有1条黑色斑纹,雌性整个触角锈红色。黑盾蜾蠃E. nigriscutatus与分布于台湾的E. tosawae tosawae Soika, 1941近似,但前者覆有彩色斑纹,头胸腹均覆有较大的刻点,腹部第 2 节背板前端部有 1 较深的凹陷以形成 1 明显的翘状结构。文中还提供了西南地区种类检索表。新种模式标本保存于重庆师范大学昆虫与分子生物学研究所。  相似文献

Four new species and one new combination ofAdenia are presented, along with a vegetative key and diagnostic characters of the Madagascan species. Additional notes are provided about unusual specimens and field observations.Adenia kigogoensis from Tanzania is shown to be distinct fromA. stenodactyla (its putative closest relative) andA. digitata based on anther connation and other floral traits. The remaining new taxa are from Madagascar.Adenia litoralis has been observed from one coastal locality in northern Madagascar. It is distinctive in fruit size and leaf form.Adenia metamorpha is the only Madagascan taxon with a narrow cylindrical trunk and large napiform tuber; it is also known from only one locality in Madagascar in the Ankarana Reserve.Adenia mcdadiana is a robust liana with highly reduced glands and leaves that appear to be neotenic compared to its closest putative relative,A. sphaerocarpa. Finally, the position ofA. stylosa has been clarified. This species was once treated asA. firingalavensis var.stylosa, and prior to that asA. epigea var.stylosa, but molecular and morphological data suggest it is separate from these species.  相似文献

Larval polytene chromosome maps of Simulium (G.) asakoae and S. (G.) sp. g in the ceylonicum-group and S. (G.) angulistylum, S. (G.) decuplum and S. (G.) siamense in the batoense-group of the subgenus Gomphostilbia from Thailand are presented. These species have three pairs of chromosomes (2n = 6). Light stained centromeric bands were observed in the chromosomes of S. (G.) asakoae, S. (G.) sp. g, S. (G.) decuplum and S. (G.) siamense, whereas heavy dark centromeric bands were present in S. (G.) angulistylum. The best distinguishing character of Simulium species in the subgenus Gomphostilbia is the position of the nucleolar organizer in the short arm of chromosome I. The Ring of Balbiani and the double bubble are located in chromosome arm IIS in all species except for S. (G.) angulistylum, which showed these cytological markers in chromosome arm IIIS. A low chromosomal polymorphism was recorded in all species except for S. (G.) sp. g, which exhibited a standard polytene chromosome. Inversion polymorphisms found in this study conformed to Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium and were not associated with sex. These species have different specific markers and banding patterns although homologous banding sequences were found in chromosome arm IIS in S. (G.) asakoae, S. (G.) sp. g, S. (G.) decuplum and S. (G.) siamense and chromosome arm IIIS in S. (G.) angulistylum. Our results showed no evidence of a sibling species complex within any taxon.  相似文献
